Webb Amendment Goes Down In Flames...UPDATED

And so it should. Richard The Dick Turbin Durbin is whining and continuing with the usual proven to be false rhetoric as losers tend to do.

They are trying to get a differing Murtha Slow Bleed Ignorance with Schumer parroting that which Reid yammers on about and they are quoting the poll taken in Iraq and NOT listening to the Generals and Commanders in the field. Imagine that.

I guess no one has informed these idiots that we are winning or, they KNOW we are winning and this is not to be allowed...for political gain.

Feingold's amendment is nothing more than another slow bleed travesty. It is "Rather" evident that they haven't a clue and they will soon be overwhelmed by the Conservative Tsunami.

Don't fall for the Leftinistra ignorance and stupidity.

Effort to Shift Course in Iraq Fails in Senate
By DAVID M. HERSZENHORN and CARL HULSE
A proposal that Senate Democrats put forward as their best chance of changing course in Iraq died on Wednesday, as Republicans stood firmly behind President Bush.
Poor trolls.

UPDATE: Ron Christie has a few words for Webb, like maybe he should check on the Constitution before he tries to bring his retarded amendment back into play a third time. Personally, I think he should have checked it the first time but, that's just me.

From the Pundits Blog: Senate Needs to Give Webb Amendment a Rest
Posted by Ron Christie

As I watch Congress seek to confer federal rights to enemy combatants (read: terrorists) and micromanage the president’s ability to wage the war on terrorism, I was struck by the fact that many lawmakers have apparently forgotten to read a simple document that governs the laws they seek to enact. That simple document is known as the Constitution of the United States — a document Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.) has apparently failed to consult as he crafted an amendment due on the Senate floor any day now. Read More
