Some Legacies We Could Do Without

And one of those legacies is the hypocrisy of the Vaunted Democratic Party. It is sad in a way.

I dare say that MOST Democrats are "Rather" vexed with their party's leadership and the constant "do as I say but not as I do" as they waltz their way into obscurity and insignificance.

Their competition of who can hate GWB the most has resulted in the Presidential Aspirants of the DNC have painted themselves into a corner of which there is no way out without soiling themselves.

Even as they call for an end to the war and pledge to bring the troops home, the Democratic presidential candidates are setting out positions that could leave the United States engaged in Iraq for years.

I have a plethora of posts on this blog and the other three I operate in this regard.

The current quagmire the democratic party leadership has gotten themselves into is the direct result of appeasing and appealing to the many individual Fruit Loop Brigades that have no common sense about them, between them or any combination thereof. Each group demands of their selected political affiliations a wide variety of details and the DNC contenders plan each "showing" to appeal to a specific group and pander to them and get that particular group on board with the aspirant of their choice. This is counter-productive to say the least.

A perfect example of this is the announced running of Cindy Sheehan to compete with the now SoH Nancy Pelosi. Cindy, at one time, was all for Nancy Pelosi. Seeing that Nancy has been "proven" to be a pandering liar to obtain the political position she now holds, she now has fallen from grace from one of the Fruit Loop Brigades. It will be interesting to witness what comes of that contest. Surely, Nancy Pelosi has nothing to worry about but it does reveal that the Democratic Party leadership has no Spine and has no message and has no answers solidly in place. The democrats won fairly big last November but they ran on the BDS and the "we can do better" campaign without ever expressing that which they can do better of. Did they?

The Democratic Party has become the laughing stock in the political arena. They have not one single established role or Plan for anything other than "we want to take care of everybody" rhetoric. Specifics, please, if you can.

Democrats still want to leave Iraq...umm, probably, well, possibly, no thats not right, then maybe.... okay, so no, they admit we just can't leave a "failed state behind.

Okay, so all the promises to get out of Iraq before the last election, were....ummm, empty.

He wants to leave, then GO BACK!!!!! If genocide begins, (which all experts have said it will if we leave prematurely)then we must be prepared to step back in and put an end to that.

Maggie's Notebook wants to know: in regards to the Pelosi Agenda

Why then is House Speaker Nancy Pelosi planning on fighting the bill's outcome in November especially when the FISA changes only last to February? What about the Democrats in the Senate who voted in favor of the bill? What about the 41 Democrats in the House that voted in favor of the bill? Are they not part of the Democratic party leadership's often promoted new direction for America?

Good questions. Perhaps this is why Cindy and others like her are so disillusioned with the Democratic Party. I guess they are figuring out that they have been LIED to.

Red State has some sarcasm I "Rather" enjoyed. Again, this is the type of subject that has those plethora of Fruit Loop Brigades so quiet lately...they have ALL been lied to by the leadership of the Democratic Party. So much for that bringing back ethics thing...whatever that meant.

How 'bout that impeachment?

The left hasn't talked too much about it lately. After spending so long demanding impeachment because Bush lied and people died, the President exceeded his authority by spying on the American people and covering up the partisan firings of US Attorneys, and because Chimpy McBushitler Halliburton is corrupt, they've gotten quiet.

They really shouldn't.

Poor Fruit Loop Brigades. They have thrown in with some pretty cheesy politicians and are just now realizing that they have been bamboozled by the best bamboozlers in the known universe.

Must suck to be in their shoes now, eh?
