On 9/29/08 I posted a War News Update post and towards the end I reported on pirates dying a mysterious death after they initially hijacked an Iranian vessel off the coast of Somalia. LGF and JW also reported on it.
Over at PD.com, drillanwr reported that the vessel has now been released after tense negotiations. Doug Ross gives us a similar report but has some ominous details. Evidently, the vessel was originally slated to deliver a possible dirty bomb to Israel for Yom Kippur. For the full scoop, take a ride over to Director Blue.
