John Doe Already Kicking Terrorist Derrières

The bill only became law on Friday and, according to many, is already kicking some derrières.

The so-called "Flying Imams" dropped passengers as defendants in their bogus case just days after Congress reached a deal to shield terror tipsters from race-bias suits.

The Muslim clerics were kicked off a US Airways flight in November after passengers warned crew members the clerics were behaving like the 9/11 hijackers.

Democrats shamefully tried to strip the provision out of homeland security legislation President Bush just signed. It took a former Democrat — Independent Sen. Joe Lieberman — to come to the rescue of passengers who report suspicious activity aboard flights.

Again, our Friends of the Terrorists, the Democratic Party Leadership, has been forced by "We The People" of The New Media to Do The Right Thing.

As previously discussed here and here on this blog, many more fellow New Media Bloggers trounced upon the CONgress Crtitters and forced them to obey and RIGHTfully so.

It "IS" about time.

In addition to the John Doe Amendment being passed, we see that the vaunted CAIR is also beginning to crumble from the pressures of the New Media of which no one seems to be able to rebuff.

The only entities that denied the intentions of C.A.I.R. to replace the United States Constitution with the tenets of Islam are the Democrats and the wanna-be democrats we all know as RINOs. One of their own, Ellison, agrees with C.A.I.R. in this regard. Don't these people communicate with each other?

Just the other day, I and many others pointed out that Obama has repeated nearly verbatim that which GWB and the rest of us have known for years yet the Democrats, including Obama, have rejected the claims as well as the evidence. Yet, when convenient, they agree but make it sound like they disagree and make the facts seem to be their own.

Perhaps many Americans really are that dumb and believe all that C.R.A.P. but this DAV does not. The minions at the imploding KOSmonoffs believe it and here's your sign.

Dead Birds Found In DC Metro

SO, what was this clown up to and who is it?

Two Metro train stations were closed Sunday while hazardous materials crews investigated a number of dead birds and a substance at one that was identified as a commercial rat poison.

The Greenbelt station on the Green Line in suburban Maryland and the Takoma Park station on the Red Line in the city were closed, said Cathy Asato, a spokeswoman for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority.

John Doe "Loophole"

We told you yesterday of a big win for those of us that have actively been reporting on the John Doe Amendment.

We were heard but in order to get the Democrats in the Senate to do something to protect us here in America, to protect the brave "John Does" that will stand up and report suspicious activities, the Republicans had to give in to a compromise, a loophole.

The new language requires that there be an "objectively reasonable suspicion" for the immunity to apply. That's the GOP's concession to the concerns of Bennie Thompson and the Democrats that people would use their "John Doe" immunity to go around making all sorts of paranoid claims. In essence, it leaves things in the hands of the jury: if a passenger is sued for making a report and the jury decides that their suspicion was reasonable, the passenger is immune. If not, no immunity.

So, you ask, what is sooooooooooo bad about having to make this concession to the Democrats?

Today we see that CAIR, you know, that organization with massive amounts of terror ties? Well they are making no bones about the fact that they intend to exploit this little loophole and who do we have to thank for giving them this opportunity?

Democrats Are Misleading Americans...Again

In some foolish tirade and exaggerated lame claim of racial profiling, the Democrats have blocked an amendment in regards to protecting American citizens, the caring and alert ones, from being sued if they report suspicious activities. We are a nation at war and this war has been going on LONG before 91101. This is one more example of how the Democrats are not ready to lead anyone, anywhere, at anytime, in any endeavor known to man.

The once GREAT Democratic Party of which I at one time was a member of, have cast aside their Constitutional obligations of protecting the citizens of American against foreign and domestic enemies, for the infectious diseases of Identity Politics, Multiculturalism and Political Correctness. The infection runs deep and it is lethal. Emotionally unstable individuals, both male and female alike, should not be in charge of picking noses let alone given the responsibilities of National Security.

Muzzling our watchdogs

If you see something, don't say anything - for fear of getting sued. That's the dangerous place some congressional Democrats are trying to take the U.S. in the war on terror.

Fretting over the exaggerated possibility of racial profiling, they are pushing to undermine an amendment that would give anti-lawsuit protection to individuals who report suspicious activity. Individuals like the video-store clerk who thwarted an attack on Fort Dix.

The need for this John Doe law stems from the incident last year when some Muslim clerics, acting more than a bit suspiciously - and with such obviousness, it's hard not to think they were trying to provoke confrontation - got themselves booted from a U.S. Airways flight. They sued. The defendants include the frightened passengers who alerted the flight crew. The imams allege they were targeted as part of a malicious conspiracy.

Among the reputed conspirators is an elderly couple who, according to court papers, "purposely turned around to watch them" and who then used a cell phone. Horrors. They shouldn't face liability, nor should anyone who in good faith reports suspicious behavior. Rep. Pete King is right to continue to fight for a law to protect all John Does. America needs them.

The above article is "old news" by now but it needs to be understood nonetheless.

I, and others, blogged the hell out this topic when it was "new" this past week. Snooper, Michelle Malkin, American Pundit, Powerline, Wake Up America, and countless others were agog at the "udder" stupidity of our CONgress for their acrimonious idiocy. They appear to protect the terrorists among us "Rather" than the American population.

And they claim to be "Patriots". Patriots to what and to whom is the question I demand to be answered.

Yes. I DO question their patriotism, political correctness be damned to Hell.

July 26, 2007 -- WASHINGTON - People who tip off authorities to potential terrorists would be shielded from lawsuits under new anti-terrorism legislation that has won agreement from key lawmakers.

"It's absolutely essential that we have public-spirited citizens report suspicious activity to law enforcement," said Rep. Peter King (R-L.I.), the top Republican on the House Homeland Security Committee.

"One of the main things we learned on Sept. 11 is you can never have enough police officers or FBI agents . . . We need the eyes and ears of millions and millions of good Americans," he added.

The so-called "John Doe bill" would protect the tipsters as long as they acted in good faith and didn't knowingly make false statements.

King pushed for the provision after an incident at the Minneapolis airport where six Muslim passengers got kicked off an airplane and later sued the passengers who reported their supposedly suspicious activity.

Democrats agreed to add the provision in negotiations over a House and Senate-passed homeland-security measure, which also implements many 9/11 commission recommendations.

The friends of the terrorists, the Leftinistra of the CONgress, both Democrat and Republican alike, are doing everything in their power to NOT keep Americans safe. All in the name of Diversity, Multiculturalism, Political Correctness and Identity Politics, the absolute WORSE CONgress in American history has squelched an amendment to the Homeland Security Bill that would protect Americans from being sued if they report "strange happenings" (suspicious behavior) that may lead to a terrorist attack. Why? Because they are dumber than a box of turtle turds. They have a lethal case of BDS and they are power hungry and anti-American. The problem is, they just don't know it. Hell...even the Pentagon finally has had enough and has Jap-slapped Hillary for aiding the enemy.

Powerline Blog and American Pundit report in that the Dementedcrats have successfully nixed the amendment so Americans will NOT be protected against suit. We just might offend a terrorist and we cannot have that, can we?

Democrats Nix John Doe Law

Democrats on the House/Senate conference committee have dropped from the Homeland Security bill the provision that would protect "John Doe" citizens from lawsuits when they report suspicious behavior to the authorities.

This is a good example of how Congress really works. The "John Doe" measure passed the House on a 304-121 vote, which means that many Democrats didn't want to go on record as opposing the measure. Instead, they killed it quietly in conference committee. So now Democrats in "swing" districts--those must be the ones where voters take seriously the risk of terrorist attack--can tell voters that they voted for the measure, and take no responsibility for the fact it never became law. This dodge is as old as the Republic.

It also shows the importance of party affiliation. If the Republicans still controlled Congress, a majority of conferees never would have voted to strip "John Doe" protection out of the bill.

Well, it’s official. Both houses of Congress can’t get enough damn nerve together to protect citizens who report suspicious activity. Hesitation, in fear of consequences, by citizens can prove disastrous. Audrey Hudson of the Washington Times reports:

The Senate just rejected an amendment that would have added the “John Doe” protection provision to an education bill. The vote was 57 for and 39 against, but the vote involved a Senate procedural rule that required a three-fifths majority for approval.

Michelle also has the roll. All Republicans, along with 7 Democrats, voted for the measure. All “Nays” were from donkeys. Brownback, Feinstein, Johnson, and Obama weren’t voting. Michelle writes:

Bottom line: The Dems believe that if you see something, you should just shut up.

This fight is not over. There still is a final conference report to be hashed out. Keep your phones lit. The Senate Dems need to hear from you.

Interesting to note: Hillary voted for the measure. All other major Democrats (Reid, Kennedy, Kerry, Leahy, Biden, Boxer, Dodd, and company) voted against protecting Americans.
