Petition for Immigration Law Enforcement

Numbers USA is organizing a petition drive to demonstrate our will to see current immigration laws enforced. To date, 11,491 people have signed their petition, which states:

Petition to President: It is not 'UN-AMERICAN' to open jobs for jobless Americans through immigration enforcement

At a San Francisco rally against immigration laws, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that it is un-American to use types of enforcement to drive illegal aliens out of U.S. jobs. She has also called for an end to ICE's worksite operations. Coming from one of the nation's highest ranking public officials, this is very disturbing. The small amount of worksite enforcement over the last 18 months has proven itself especially effective in providing jobs for unemployed Americans, including by frightening non-targeted businesses into hiring only legal workers.

We call on you to affirm that a primary purpose of immigration laws is to protect American workers -- particularly our most vulnerable citizens. And we urge you to re-state your oath to carry out these laws of our country to your fullest ability. Please show your commitment to putting especially low-skill American workers back on the job by giving your full support to ICE agents and adopting regulations requiring all federal contractors to use E-Verify.

I have signed the petition. I urge my fellow citizens to sign it and to join Numbers USA and actively express their desire to support legal immigration. Given the current balance of political power, the fence won't be built, many more illegal aliens will join the millions already here, accompanied by terrorists crossing the open border and they will be given citizenship and become a permanent part of the Democrat's voting block. That outcome can only be prevented if we apply intense political pressure. I view this petition as a good start.

PC Strikes: Wrong On Czarbie

In this day of political correctness, a cancer that has swept this nation, I submit that I will never succumb to such nonsense. I do not accuse Sister Toldjah of this but I do accuse others of submitting to the PC Nazis for political expediency. Such is the case of Nancy Pelosi's and now Czarbie's violations of the Logan Act. Just because some politicians have said that Czarbie didn't "try to" affect Foreign Policy means nothing to me.

Via Instapundit, I read a report by Jake Tapper which discusses how Bush administration officials - and other Republican congressmen - are saying that Barack Obama did not try to interfere with Bush’s policy towards Iraq in a meeting with Iraq leaders as originally reported … because those officials and congressmen were with him.

Gee. So, if a rapist didn't "mean to" and his friends were with him, than his violation is OK? Not hardly. Oh. That's right. "Don't tell me words don't matter!" "Just words? Just speeches?" Please.

I respect and admire Sister Toldjah and agree 99.9999999999% of the time but, in this case, I whole heartedly object.

No where in the United States Constitution is political correctness discussed or sanctioned.

In recent days, the conservative blogosphere has exploded into utter contempt and disgust over Czarbie and his foreign policy intrusions in Iraq. Is it constitutional for a sitting or former Senator to travel around discussing foreign policy with foreign leaders or trying to change foreign policy? Is it constitutional for a sitting or former House Member to travel around discussing foreign policy with foreign leaders or trying to change foreign policy? Is it constitutional for an American Citizen to travel around discussing foreign policy with foreign leaders or trying to change foreign policy? The answer is obviously, "NO".

Section VIII of the United States Constitution defines the duties of the Legislative Branch which, by the way, means the Senate and The House. Section IX of the United States Constitution defines the limitations of the Legislative Branch which, by the way, means the Senate and The House. Section II of the United States Constitution defines the power of the Presidency. The only one that can direct Foreign Policy is the president of the United States and the intent is the SITTING President. Not a former President or an Aspiring President, no matter their alleged standing in the world. Period.

This was all confirmed and solidified via the Logan Act of 1799. The Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. § 953 [1948]) is a single federal statute making it a crime for a citizen to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States. Specifically, it prohibits citizens from negotiating with other nations on behalf of the United States without authorization. The text:

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

The Alien Registration Act of 1940, usually called the Smith Act because the antisedition section was authored by Representative Howard W. Smith of Virginia, was adopted at 54 Statutes at Large 670-671 (1940). The Act has been amended several times and can now be found at 18 U.S. Code § 2385 (2000).

§ 2385. Advocating Overthrow of Government.

Whoever knowingly or willfully advocates, abets, advises, or teaches the duty, necessity, desirability, or propriety of overthrowing or destroying the government of the United States or the government of any State, Territory, District or Possession thereof, or the government of any political subdivision therein, by force or violence, or by the assassination of any officer of any such government; or

Taking into consideration everything Czarbie has said about the Troops, their Mission, President Bush and his rhetoric which not only emboldens the enemy but enables and encourages the enemy to step up attacks against our Troops - much like his kind did during the Vietnam War (or Police Action) - in which claimed my brother's life in 1968, I wouldn't put it past Czarbie to shaft the Troops at every chance he could.

Also taking into consideration Czarbie's associations with known enemies of the state and unrepentant domestic terrorists and his wet dream of a Civilain National Security Force, how can anyone possibly not believe Taheri's account which was confirmed by his own campaign?

The issues I have with the post at Ace and others is as follows: some are saying that Hagel agrees with Czarbie's account. Hagel also said that Palin was unqualified. PC has struck once again. In the piece at Ace:

I don't care what it looks like to the PC Nazis and I especially don't care what Hagel the RINO says about anything. What this is all about is that there are no honest men in DC anymore and the media frenzy that would ensue from anyone trying to enforce the Logan and Smith Acts would make the cowards wet their panties.

Perhaps it would be wise for those that doubt Czarbie's treachery to read Obama 101. It is a two-page essay and confirms to me, no matter the fluff I hear in the PC world, that Czarbie is a master at gab and is a Clear and Present Danger. He no honors and supports our Troops than I am a supporter of his Marxist garbage. I will believe an Iraqi Official in their government more than I would believe ANY RINO and certainly over Czarbie.

Rangel and Congressional Lack of Ethics

Pelosi once said that she was going to create the most ethical Congress in the history of the United States. I find that peculiar to say the least. I have a distinct impression that she either doesn't know what that might entail or she has redefined the term.

Unlike the DNC - excluding Stevens and the Foot Tapping Cretin of the GOP - whenever a GOP Party member is either involved in something or may have been involved in anything that could be seen as unethical, they are removed from service. The DNC types however, just keep the business as usual thing going. Unless of course, they are sent to prison. In recent days, such is the case with Charles Rangel.

On 11 JUL 08 in the New York Slimes, an article appeared entitled, For Rangel, Four Rent-Stabilized Apartments, and this was the beginning of the current issue. What will the most ethical Speaker of the House do about it? Nothing. So much for ethics. But, what did Rangel do?

Apparently, he has used his position and prestige to circumvent NYC housing laws. The details are in the NYT article and many bloggers. I have a small collection of articles and blog posts stored here for your benefit and use. The short list includes JWF, NY Post, Mr Pink Eyes, The Hill, Suitably Flip, Michelle Malkin, Pat Dollard to name a few.

The New York Times has stated that Rangel should release his ill-gotten gains and Rangel has even said that he si going to evict himself. In so doing, he has admitted to wrong-doing and has given credence to the charges of the appearance of unethical behavior, allegedly unbecoming to a Congress Critter. However, not so fast.

On 16 SEPT 08 in The Hill, it was announced that there is no word yet on Rangel's resignation from the Chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee. The article appeared at 0733 EST and Pelosi had not made up her mind yet. So, 2 months and 5 days later, Pelosi has been unable to determine if this smells like fish wrapped in a newspaper yet? If this had been a GOP type, the DNC Hangmen would have been lining up at the door. If this were a GOP type, the GOP Speaker of the House would have already made the decision to oust the crook.

On 16 SEPT 08 in The New York Post, published at 0907 EST, it was announced that Rangel rejects the call to remove himself from his posh position. At nearly the same time, the NYT reported that Rangel was not giving up his seat, ethics be damned. And, on top of that, Ms Ethics is supporting his decision. Simply amazing.

[...] Mr. Rangel’s lawyer, Lanny Davis, told reporters during a conference call on Tuesday that the House speaker, Nancy Pelosi, supported his decision to remain in the chairmanship. The announcement came after Mr. Rangel, the 78-year-old Harlem Democrat, met behind closed doors on Monday with the speaker and other party leaders. [...]

Good Lord! Also on the 16th, QandO published, And the answer is ....? And, what was the answer?

Republicans are seeking to highlight the controversy over his finances in the coming election, after Democrats have pounded them on issues of ethics and corruption.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rejected those calls.

"I see no reason why Mr. Rangel should step down," she said Tuesday.

Imagine that! The above provided by Breitbart. When even the NYT is calling for Nancy Pelosi to remove Rangel from his Chair, the situation has just got to be worse than anyone knows at this juncture as so stated at Suitably Flip: Okay, Nan, It's On You. Nancy HATES getting called onto the carpet you know. It makes her wrinkle up.

Mr Pink Eyes has an article up claiming that Nancy is "quietly urging" Rangel to resign. I don't see this happening one bit. When was the last time a Democrat Leader actually even pretended that they had done something wrong? When has a Democrat Leader ever actually admitted to doing anything wrong?

Democrat Charlie Rangel who is chairman of the committee that writes the tax laws as been outed as a tax cheat and a fraud. He needs to resign, if not from congress that at least his chairmanship of the House Ways and Means Committee. [...]

There it is again. The DNC Double Standard of do what I say and not as I do. Only the GOP has to answer to any wrong-doing and, they do, unlike their counter-parts.

On 17 SEPT 08 at STACLU, we read that Nancy is calling for the investigations into Barack's fund raising practices and Rangels unethical behavior. Oh. Wait. That was (D-LaLa Land) speaking. Disregard. But, it was funny. Go check it out.

This has been a short blurb in the dealing of the crook and abuser Rangel and he even has admitted to it. But, don't expect him to pay the price for it. A Democrat Party Leader can never do any wrong and if it appears to be a wrong-doing, surely it was the fault of someone else...like a Republican.

Looks Like Nancy Pelosi Is In Deep Lack of Communion

Recall if you will when Her Royal House Speaker stated that even the Pope had no earthly idea when human life began thus reinforcing  Obama's pay grade reach in regards to abortion.  Almost immediately, several Cardinals and Bishops stepped up and said what Nancy Pelosi stated was absolutely wrong.  Now, she is may pay even a steeper price and "heavenly rebuke".

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) has accepted an invitation from San Francisco’s archbishop to discuss whether she should continue to receive communion at the Catholic Church in the wake of comments she made about abortion.

San Francisco Archbishop George H. Niederauer requested the meeting after receiving letters and e-mails from “many Catholics” expressing dismay over Pelosi’s remarks that the question of when life begins remained controversial within the church. He said many of those writing questioned whether Pelosi should be able to receive communion. [...]

As in the minds of most Democrat Party Leaders, their history span begins the day they were born and anything before that time just doesn't compute.  When Nancy Pelosi was asked about Barack's above his pay grade statement at the Saddleback forum, she rallied to his aid and pretty much confirmed that Barack was incapable of making difficult decisions under pressure but, we really didn't need her to confirm that which the American People already knew.

I am sure that Nancy will receive some admonitions from the Archbishop right before she recites a prescribed and pre-determined quantity of recitations of Hail Mary.  If she is a good girl and confesses her sins, she just may get some absolutions and be instructed to go out and sin no more.  Don't hold your breathe.  There is no Higher Power outside of the DNC so she will merely go through the motions, get her forgiveness and then promptly revert back to her insidious ways.

On The Eve of the DNC Convention

Nancy Pelosi once again confirms that she is out of touch and her "power" has gone to her head. She has allowed her "power" to assert herself over the Roman Catholic Church by proclaiming that The Pope says abortion is OK. (please check out this article for an in-depth explanation) And then, she continues with the lame expression that she is trying to save the planet and that the American People really are dumb and are incapable of figuring things out all on their own.

While all that is going on, her hotel is evacuated because some psycho-babbling [SENSORED] individual is carrying weapons into the hotel she is warehoused in. We all know that she is third in line for the Presidency should anything untoward take place with any President and Vice-President but attempting to assassinate them or her - NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE - or even verbalizing that audibly is absolutely unacceptable. I hope they give the fool a life sentence under a jail and throw the key away. We have enough problems as it is without these idiots mucking things up.

On the eve of the DNC Convention, the Caucus Blog tells us that the GOP has opened up their War Room in close proximity to the DNC quagmire just to let folks know that the DNC isn't the only game in town. Also on the eve of the Big Digs in Denver, The One lashes out at McCain saying that McCain doesn't have an Economic Plan. I beg to differ. No matter The Plan that McCain has, it is sure to surpass anything a Marxist would have to offer. I have heard Czarbie's Economic Plan and only a Marxist/Socialist-HUGE Entitlement Government proponent would ever even consider that one. Remember Saddleback? The One showed his true colors there as did McCain. I can only conclude that once again, The One is lying. So much for Hope and Change that he promised.

Another interesting happenstance is the meeting that took place between The One and the one that should have been The One...Hillary and Obama had a discussion. Oh. Wait. That wasn't today...

Will Hillary release her delegates by Wednesday or not? As for party unity, are her delegates satisfied and are they happy? Will they, after being released, swing their weight to Obama or will they perform a coup on the DNC? All of this remains to be seen and do not try and apply logic to a die-hard Democrat...it will drive you insane. I am quite convinced of a coup attempt. It may succeed and it might not.

It may take the law suit proclaiming that The One is ineligible to complete the coup. We all know that The One is certainly unqualified to be President but that factoid escapes your basic moonbat and Soros sycophant. However, all Hillary has to do is cast some doubt as to whether or not Barack is a natural-born citizen. If there is any doubt whatsoever, instead of him avoiding the issue, all he needs to do is present the Real McCoy to settle the issue once and for all.

If you will recall back when this 2-year campaign began, it was said that the GOP campaign would be the most vicious in the history of American political campaigns. This has hardly been the case. The DNC components have been eating each other alive from the onset. The vacuous campaigning from the DNC elements has been spawned from the evils of political correctness and identity politics such as we have never seen. The sexism and racism has been introduced by the Democrat Party aspirants and their campaign managers. I recall hearing the racist remarks that if you didn't support Barack, you were a racist. I recall hearing the sexist remarks that if you didn't support Hillary, you were a sexist. So, the party od racism and sexism is self-imploding and in a panic maneuver, The One makes a horrid selection and chooses a hot-head, a plagiarist and a liar as his VP. Amazing.

It doesn't take much for the serious investigator to determine what American Liberalism brings to the table of American life and accomplishments. The American Liberal will tell you over and over again that only they can cause achievement and happiness. If that is true, why is it that all of the large and heavily populated cities under democrat control have the highest poverty and crime rates? How can they effectively reconcile that fact to the American People? Easy. They lie and point the finger elsewhere.

Melanie Morgan has asked if Barack can answer six basic questions but, I will extend that invitation to any DNC leader. They can and will answer them but the answers will come via platitudes and accusations of racism, division and sexism. There isn't a DNC leader anywhere in this nation that can answer a question with honesty. None. The questions posed are lengthy so you will have to take a stroll to Mels' Place.

With the stars turning their backs on The One and aligning with John McCain, is it any wonder that DNC supporters are threatening to burn Marines? and the DNC leaders will not openly condemn them? What if a GOP type threatened to burn moonbats? Would the dinosaur media be writing about it and airing the images and video on the network news outlets? Yes, they would be. Alas, it is up to the Main Street Media to report for duty seeing that the theoretical MSM is and has been AWOL for quite some time.

America Rising: GOP Rebellion Continues To The Convention

Holy Beguiled! The Leftinistra, as the one and only Snooper predicted about 5 years ago, have painted themselves into a corner with no way to get out clean. They are going to get dirty and they are going to get bloodied. Of that there is no doubt. NATURALLY, as Americans go broke because of Leftinistra policies on oil, it is more important selling failed books. What is up with Leftinistra and failures, anyway? They seem to be happier when they fail.

In an article in The Hill, it has been revealed that the GOP will be continuing the rebellion for the American People - so we don't have to do it our way - right up until the DNC Convention. That is just totally rad, dude! What The Hill piece didn't really reveal is that the rebellion will continue the entire 5 weeks of summer recess. I guess that is to be expected coming from The Hill, n'est pas? I got a kick out of how it ended...

It is both sad and hysterical to watch and I am loving every minute of it. I can hardly wait for the GOP to shut the government down over this issue of rising fuel costs which could have been averted YEARS ago. Apparently, while Nanna is in a pressure-induced wide awake coma, our friend across the pond makes an observation that I know for a fact that I have made many times for a very long time...we have seen it before and it turned very ugly, very fast. Sometimes it takes an outsider looking in to see clearly.

There is so much happening. The Conservative Movement has capitalized on the failed and most disapproved of CONgress in United States history and San Fran Nazi Nanna Nancy is under the misconception that she can get Czarbama to waffle her way out of a scathing rebuke by the American People. Not hardly.

In an article first seen at MSLSD, the trickster and intellectually dishonest SOH is said to have instructed her underling baby democrats in the House to go ahead and lie to their constituents to get re-elected. This will ensure a rousing defeat of any plan to lower fuel prices that those stupid American People are demanding. How DARE they demand anything from her! Even though she promised to do so when she campaigned back in 2006. An observation from Right Wing Sparkle:

With the advent of the #dontgo Movement, the MoveOn Czarbama Sock Puppets had quite the conniption fit today as they tried to crash #dontgo and BTR. The poor things also had a rally to support the Nazi tactics employed by Nanna's Nazi ways and means but, no one really paid them any attention. Even the press doesn't suffer fools for very long. This is evidenced by the inability to out-shout the protest protesters. Check out the last two paragraphs at the Politico. What I found odd is the open admission that MoveOn "trains their protesters". Does anyone find that odd other than I?

Everyone knows that proper tire pressure does in fact increase fuel efficiency. No one doubts that. The gaffe is that Czarbama implied that proper tire inflation and more frequent tune-ups (on vehicles that don't require them for upwards to 100K miles) will not only increase fuel efficiency but in some magical turn of events, will increase the supply to the degree that drilling will not be required. That is the gaffe because everyone knows that is simply not possible. We also know that releasing enough of the Strategic Reserve for perhaps 4 days worth of oil is not going to do anything either.

As further evidence of completely unhinged sycophants of the socialist hordes tearing Billy O of Fox News apart for his nutty rant the other night (no big loss to me - the guy is a nut case), they expose their total lack of logic. Then again, since when does a socialist make any sense? And, for that matter, since when does an anti-Americanist moonbat make any sense?

Billy O, was saying that perhaps the Big Oil Companies can "offer" 2% of their earnings to the American People instead of Czarbama taxing them for being naughty and making a lot of money. Billy O, like Czarbama, are brain dead and so are the idiots at C&L. No matter what color you try to paint the socialist turd, the turd is still a turd, no matter the color of its political persuasion. And, you cannot pick the turd up by the clean end, no matter the good intentions in trying to do so.

What these idiots fail to recognize is this: no matter what you call it - charity or taxation - the costs of stealing from the oil companies will be passed onto the consumer, raising prices. When that happens, the $1K "freebie" from The One Czarbama will, in effect, be useless in the long run. However, the only thing the socialists are interested in any long haul is the complete control of all businesses and every American Citizen. That is their goal and they are using this Big Oil non-issue Issue as a ploy to mask their intents. Remember when whats-her-face let it slip out about "socializing the oil companies"? And, please recall if you will, the oil company executives' response. "We have seen this movie before. It is called Hugo Chavez".

It is a fact of life in the business world that when a competitor sees that there is someone about to become more efficient than they are, they will do whatever it takes to make it seem like the other guy isn't so hot after all. When President Bush lifted the Executive Mritorium off off shore drilling, the price per barrel dropped by over $25 per. It has since dropped evne more and it isn't because we are driving less or having our tire pressures at the correct levels. It is the very thought that the United States is about to use its own resources and stop the outsourcing to our nation's enemies. The very thought that the USA will no longer be spending in the neighborhood 0f $780+Billion per year on foreign oil, the prices magically dropped and OPEC increased production just a hair. The Think Up A Myth folks just don't get that or, they do and are spreading lies - just like a good socialist would. Oh. Are there and is there such a thing as a good socialist? Just askin'. And Big Whiz Blow seems to think in other tangents of mythology:

Big Oil is lining the pockets of Republicans with money, hoping to leverage the public's concern over high gasoline prices into a land grab. Oil interests already have millions of acres under lease which they aren't exploring, but of course the greedy bastards want more.

Well, apparently, the squeeze is on and, naturally, the weak-kneed democrats are beginning to fold. Someone must have informed her Naziness that the AMERICAN PEOPLE - the vast majority of them - think she is an idiot. I agree.

California Democrat Nancy Pelosi may be trying to save the planet - but the rank and file in her party increasingly are just trying to save their political hides when it comes to gas prices as Republicans apply more and more rhetorical muscle.

But what looks like intraparty tension on the surface is part of an intentional strategy in which Pelosi takes the heat on energy policy, while behind the scenes she's encouraging vulnerable Democrats to express their independence if it helps them politically, according to Democratic aides on and off Capitol Hill.

Pelosi's gambit rests on one big assumption: that Democrats will own Washington after the election and will be able to craft a sweeping energy policy that is heavy on conservation and fuel alternatives while allowing for some new oil drilling. Democrats see no need to make major concessions on energy policy with a party poised to lose seats in both chambers in just three months - even if recess-averse Republicans continue to pound away on the issue. The "alleged stunt" pulled by the Conservative Elements of the GOP on 01 AUG 08 is scheduled to resume in a matter of hours and we at the Conservative Consortium of bloggers and Blog Talk Radio hosts - now known as the Main Street Media - will resume coverage and support to those brave souls that have FINALLY called Pelosi and her sycophant Nazi hacks out.

What the libtards aren't revealing - because they are liars and cowards - is the real stunt was pulled by Jack Booted Nazi Pelosi when she turned the liights off, had the cameras turned off and kicked the alleged Free Press out so the American People wouldn't witness what was going on. As is customary when the CONgress adjourned is everyone gives a few minute speech prior to leaving the House. Nazi Nanny didn't want that made public. And, we all know why. So does Czarbama...that is why he has flopped his flip on offshore drilling.

Pelosi: The Jack Booted Nazi Fascist

Earlier today, there was a mini-uprising that we haven't seen the GOP perform in nearly 14 years. Our blog posts on this topic and event can be seen, in order as they were published, here, here, here, and our evening BTR show here. It all started on our afternoon BTR show here and then it went to Media Lizzy's show, our evening show already mentioned, and then went on to Political Vindication and mdconservative and it will end at the JPA Live show. What was the fuss?

Pelosi's failed and worse ever in recorded history CONgress voted to go on vacation with a vote of 213 to 197 instead of staying and addressing by an overwhelming mandate by the American People the skyrocketing costs of fuel. While they trapse off to vacation land, Americans are paying higher and higher fuel costs at the pump. The record of adjournment is here.

I am not exactly sure just what in the hell Twitter is but Media Lizzy has a link here to follow this story throughout the day. AS an adjunct to that, here is a link from Scott's Morning Brew describing the no comments requested of the Nazi Pelosi.

The Crypt Blog at Politico is the only one that I know of that live-blogged the event. WND was also writing about this and so was the Washington Wire. Our very own Sonlit Knight actually traveled to DC to cover the event but the Capital Police would not allow him to go inside and said that the tourists, wearing Hawaiian shirts and Bermuda shorts going in and out of the building were Congressional Staff members...he smelled and saw the lies. He asked if Nazi Pelosi really had the CP escort people out of the building and they did their best SGT Schultz imitations which equates to a yes.

In the mean time, we need to NOT drop this issue and continue to call, write and contact our Congress Critters as they are now home in their respective districts. We CANNOT drop the ball on this. This is too important. What has happened is this: the Democrats have been put on notice and the American people now know which party cares and gives a damn about the American people. It certainly is NOT the Democrats.

There will be more to say, write and read about in the coming days leading up to the elections in November and th democrats have handed the election to the Republicans. I would not be surprised if Nazi Pelosi and her ilk of liars and charlatans fall below the 6% approval rating within a week or so.

They are going to be boasting about their approval ratings LOWER than when the CONgress was GOP controlled and their disapprovals HIGHER than when the GOP was the "majority"?
