The time has come to tell him, his administration and their enablers in Congress to go to Hell. If we won't tell them, who will?  Lets not wait until November 6, 2012; lets do it immediately.

On Thursday, I visited a new, high-tech factory in Michigan where workers are helping America lead the way in a growing clean energy industry. 

They were proud of their work, and they should be.  They’re not just showing us a path¹ out of the worst recession in generations – they’re proving that this is still a country where we make things²; where new ideas take root and grow; where the best universities, most creative entrepreneurs, and most dynamic businesses in the world call home³.  They’re proving that even in difficult times, there’s not a country on Earth that wouldn’t trade places with us. 

That doesn’t mean we don’t face some very tough economic challenges.  Many Americans are hurting badly right now.  Many have been unemployed for too long.  Putting these men and women back to work, and growing wages for everyone, has got to be our top priority⁴.

But lately, the response from Washington has been partisanship and gridlock⁵ that’s only undermined public confidence and hindered our efforts to grow the economy.

So while there’s nothing wrong with our country, there is something wrong with our politics⁶, and that’s what we’ve got to fix.  Because we know there are things Congress can do⁷, right now, to get more money back in your pockets, get this economy growing faster, and get our friends and neighbors back to work. 

The payroll tax cut that put $1,000 back in the average family’s pocket this year?⁸  Let’s extend it.  Construction workers who’ve been jobless since the housing boom went bust?  Let’s put them back to work rebuilding America.⁹  Let’s cut red tape in the patent process so entrepreneurs can get good ideas to market more quickly.  Let’s finish trade deals so we can sell more American-made goods around the world.¹⁰  Let’s connect the hundreds of thousands of brave Americans coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan to businesses that need their incredible¹¹ skills and talents.

These are all things we can do right now.  So let’s do them.  And over the coming weeks, I’ll put forward more proposals¹² to help our businesses hire and create jobs, and won’t stop until every American who wants a job can find one.

But we can no longer let partisan brinksmanship get in our way – the idea that making it through the next election is more important than making things right.  That’s what’s holding us back – the fact that some in Congress¹³ would rather see their opponents lose than see America win.

So you’ve got a right to be frustrated.  I am.  Because you deserve better.  And I don’t think it’s too much for you to expect that the people you send to this town start delivering.¹⁴

Members of Congress are at home in their districts right now.  And if you agree with me – whether you’re a Democrat or a Republican or not much of a fan of either – let them know.

If you’ve had it with gridlock, and you want them to pass stalled bills that will help our economy right now – let them know¹⁵. 

If you refuse to settle for a politics where scoring points is more important than solving problems; if you believe it’s time to put country before party and the interests of our children before our own – let them know. 

And maybe they’ll get back to Washington ready to compromise, ready to create jobs, ready to get our fiscal house in order – ready to do what you sent them to do.

Yes, we’ve still got a long way to go to get to where we need to be.  We didn’t get into this mess overnight, and it’s going to take time to get out of it.  That’s a hard truth – but it’s no excuse for inaction.  After all, America voted for divided government, not dysfunctional government, and we’ve got work to do.  And when we come together and find common ground, there’s no stopping this country.  There’s no stopping our people.  There’s no holding us back.  And there is every reason to believe we’ll get through this storm to a brighter day.

1. Government subsidized & dictated proof of concept enterprises are not the path to prosperity.  They are the path to failure. The Chevy Volt can not be mass produced at an affordable price. If it could be, the generating capacity needed to operate the fleet does not exist and will not because of onerous regulations blocking the construction of new generating capacity. Lighter, more efficient batteries will not solve the problem. The energy density simply is not available. There is no alternative to hydrocarbon motor fuel. Economic recovery needs to be demand driven, not government driven.
2.  This is a country with little remaining manufacturing industry primarily because of your allies: unions and crony capitalists. The unions priced labor out of the market. Government wanted "economic development", mis-interpreted as "industrialization", for Asia & Latin America. Crony capitalists wanted lower energy costs. Together, they shipped jobs overseas. 
3. No, Mr. President, this is America, not Israel. Get your bearings. 
4. Government's top priority is national security.  We need prosperity to finance security and we need security to maintain prosperity. Employment & wages are not the government's province, they belong in the private economy. Government employs too many and pays too much, contributing to our spiral of economic decline, not curing it. We are deep in debt because of government profligacy, not despite it. 

            Everyone's income is someone else's expense. When wages increase, prices increase... leading to demands for higher wages. Some of us are old  enough  and sober enough to remember what happened under Johnson, Nixon & Carter.  By printing money, you are artificially inflating the cost of everything we need.  By increasing the cost of fuel, you are inflating the price of all commodities, products and services. You're policies are the problem, not  the solution.

5. Strike Washington, insert The White House & Democrat Party. Barry bitches bitterly about his own conduct, attempting to project it onto others who are innocent.
6. Your "politics": your Socialist Agenda & partisanship; those are the problem; what is wrong with our politics. This nation's economic salvation is dependent on the immediate resignations of yourself, the Vice President, the Secretary of State and your Czars.   Go to Hell and good riddance to you!
7. Congress can do nothing positive because AssWholes control the Senate and you wield the veto pen. Your words are perverse because you want the Congress to enact your own counter productive policies which will deepen and prolong the depression.  Congress should reverse every Gd'd thing it did under the second term of Shrub and your first term. That would be a good start, but insufficient to solve the problem.
8.  That "tax cut" helps only those who have jobs, while they have jobs. It also contributes to the insolvency of Social Security and Medicare.  Besides which it is a drop in the bucket while the flood of food and energy inflation spurred by your damn fool policies robs us of purchasing power.
9. Nobody can get a mortgage. Union wages drive up housing costs. Federal regulations drive up housing costs. Artificially low interest rates distort the market. This whole problem stems from the idiotic and self-serving legislation & regulations of Franks, Dodd & co., exploited by their crony capitalist patrons. 
10. Please explain to us how you will engineer one sided trade deals so that our exports will increase but imports won't. How will you get the rest of the world to agree to that?
11. "Incredible" skills? Exactly what part of their legendary skill and courage lacks credibility?  If they are not credible, how can those skills be marketed at home in our domestic economy?  How do we put sniping, defusing IEDs, rifle and artillery fire to work in the domestic economy?  Will we put them to work putting down the riots you and your allies are working hard to foment with your class warfare politics?  Or will Blackwater hire them and go to work putting down the riots in Europe? That would not be "at home", would it?
12. Repeal Obama Dont't Care to reduce costs and increase predictability. Make the "Bush tax cuts" permanent by removing the sunset clause. Cancel the ass-idiot regulations that will double the cost of electricity. Cancel the new regulations on truck fleet fuel economy that will raise the cost of everything and put truckers out of work. Remove the restrictions on domestic oil exploration & production both on and off shore. Do those things immediately and make them permanent!!!
13. Some in Congress: the G'd'd liberals and one in the White house; those are the obstacles to progress. We need to get rid of them and we can't wait until November 6, 2012.
14. You delivered. You promised hope: you delivered despair. You promised change: you delivered ruin.  Politics as usual: promise gold; deliver excrement. The electorate needs to learn from this. Most of them are not smart enough to learn. Everyone who voted for Obama should be removed from the voter rolls  because they are incompetent.
15. Let them know? Yeah, right. Members of Congress: if you voted for the stimulus bills, TARP or Obama Don't Care, resign at once. Do not pass go, do not collect a pension, just go to Hell. The American people are fed up with your conduct in office: misfeasance, malfeasance & non-feasance.

More Bail Out Socialist Take Over Of The United States Economy

I know I am only 53 years old and all but since when does government involvement in anything produce a positive result for Free Enterprise and Capitalism? Our Republic thrives when government concerns itself with the United States Constitution and lets We The People run our own lives. Rhymes with Clown has this to say, among other things...

Then there are Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac. They were chartered then regulated by the federal government. That wasn't enough to keep them out of trouble so the government stepped in to bail them out. The fact that they haven't flourished under their latest incarnation should be a surprise to no one.

We've had Hoover trying to put chickens in our pots, a New Deal, a Fair Deal, crossed into a New Frontier, and created a Great Society. We even had President Ford try to whip inflation, as if it were some sort of playground bully. (I heard he waited by the White House flagpole until 3:30, but inflation never showed.) Just for the hell of it, I went down to a dealership yesterday and I qualified to by 3 vehicles. I am retired with ZERO verifiable income. I said I needed three vehicles and when it was all said and done, all I had to do was sign the papers. I thought there was a credit crunch someplace. And no, I didn't buy the vehicles. I just wanted to test the waters as it were. The economic crisis is a contrived lie.

We all know - well at least I have known for years - that the unions is what has pretty much destroyed the American auto industry. I used to say many years ago: "Soap operas and unions will be the downfall of the USA." I was right.

RWN has a run down on what the costs of the bail outs will be. I hear tell that the costs are still being calculated into the neighborhood of $10 TRILLION. Silly me thought we were out of cash and we also all know that this all started with Jimmy Carter picking up the Guidon of FDR and then Clinton screwed it up even more. It has been DNC proponents and members that have brought this financial quagmire upon the people of this nation. Period. They can deny it and try and hide from it but the facts are the facts and revisionist history writing will not go unchallenged.

Everyone is wrong. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are perfectly fine and solvent. The hype is over and the real culprit or culprits have been exposed. Everyone relax. There isn't a crisis. McClatchy News bares all:

For a while there I was worried.

This is getting more and more retarded by the minute, people. Talk about the spinmeisters in full swing! This is how I see it. The Leftinistra have been caught LYING and CHEATING and thee is no getting out of it honestly. So, now, they are trying to blame the economic non-crisis crisis in the laps of someone else. What a bunch of damned losers. In the pro-Castro media outlet in Florida: "Data prove untrue charges that push for affordable housing caused crisis"

It's The End Of The World As We Know It

According to the "experts", the ones that actually got us into this financial mess to start with have warned today;

The world is on the brink of financial meltdown, the head of the International Monetary Fund said Saturday. His bleak warning came as finance ministers tried to calm the frenzy in markets that saw share prices crash by more than 20 percent last week. [...]

That is what happens when governments get involved in economics and try and manipulate it into an outcome they wish to have when the markets take care of themselves when left alone. Since Paulson said that the world was ending on 9/17/08 if "we didn't take decisive action", the government has taken decisive action and the situation got worse. Thank you very much Democrat Party. Well done. The very oversight that you have recently whined about that YOU have been in charge of has failed the American People and the People of the World. Congratulations.

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Many are saying, such as I have BEEN saying for quite some time, that if you want a worsened economy, go ahead and either elect or allow to be elected the most liberal Senator in history as Obama is and coupled with that, a flaming Marxist. I know. Right Wing Nuthouse says Obama is not a socialist or a Marxist but even the smartest of us have a brain spasm once in a while. The evidence is overwhelming.

And, here is something else people can deny. The markets are crashing out of fear of an Obama presidency. Denying this will not change the fact that this Nation will end up as a Third World Nation by the time Czarbie gets through with it. Name me one thing positive that has happened since Czarbie has started talking about the economy. Every time he opens his Marxist yapper, the economy slides a little more each day. Also recall that Soros is yanking his strings.

Some will say that there is no "nefarious" boogey men but my research into Soros begs to differ. Just to be sure, please do your own fact-finding and ask yourself what the European Crash was all about and which INDIVIDUAL brought it about. Come back when you have the answers. What are his end goals? What are his ideals? And, how does he propose to accomplish his dreams of a One World Socialist Utopia?

It is clear that for decades, the Democrat Party has been manipulating the economy and now there is talk of economic terrorism. This remains to be seen but it is a viable avenue of investigation. Especially seeing that it has been the Democrat Party leadership that has refused to come clean in regards to their utter failure. In other words, the DNC members are the failures they claim others to be. There is just no getting away from that honestly. Mike's America states the following and the letter he refers to is to the left:

But it wasn't his only effort to get attention on this key issue when action could have averted a crisis. The following letter McCain signed along with nineteen other GOP Senators (neither Barack Obama nor ANY Democrat Senator signed) was issued a few weeks before McCain's Senate speech. [...]

Naturally, the Pelosi Clan and the Reid Clan will not acknowledge their complicity in this economic downturn...it isn't politically expedient. I wonder if they will be targets of the Special Investigation if it ever comes. Griffin is urging McCain to call for a Special Investigation...

[...] It would send a signal to Americans who are scared, angry and hurt as a result of the stock market meltdown.

He should also remind the American people that any funds recovered as a result of a criminal probe would be returned to the U.S. Treasury, including any recovered from CEOs who are found to have committed crimes.

And ask Sen. Obama to join him in this proposal. He won't.

The Special Prosecutor would report to the Deputy Attorney General as has been the case with other Special Prosecutors. The Independent Counsel statute is no more, so I am not suggesting a big spending, never ending IC.

A Special Prosecutor. For action. For accountability. For confidence. [END]

Accountability? For a Democrat? Step away from the bong.

While some are fearing a Socialist Tsunami, I have more confidence in the American People than that. Hopefully, others do as well. It seems as though someone is rethinking the recent unconstitutional bail out bill because in the New York Slimes, it is said that the White House is overhauling the "rescue bill". I don't care what it is called...it is unconstitutional and it needs to be struck down and burned. Also, since when does a building overhaul anything. The White House is a structure for crying out loud.

Remember all of this come election day. Which political party got us into this mess and which political party refused to fix it when the other political party tried to stem the tide and stop the bleeding.

Government Meddling In Fanancial Markets = Crash of 2008

Seen the news today? Oh boy! The socialist army has just put 4,000 holes in Capitalism. Now we know how many holes it takes to fill CONgress!

Judas H Priest people. Way back on 9/17/08, we heard that the sky was falling, our atmosphere was vanishing and we were drifting into the sun and we had to act NOW NOW NOW before it was too late. The market went down and down. The initial bill failed and the market rebounded about 60 %. Then, the Senate got a hold of it. The market went down and down. Then the Lower House passed the damn thing and the market went down and down and it hasn't stopped going down since. That's because CONgress keeps trying to meddle thus screwing it up worse than it would have been if they had just let the market fix itself.

We are below 9,000 people with the market losing 38% for the year so far BECAUSE of government meddling. I say hang them all and start over and return to the Constitutional Values our Founding Fathers established. Period. End of discussion.

Let this be an abject lesson for all Americans. When the government gets involved in the whatever it is they get involved in, it always turns to crap in a hurry and then they blame everything and everyone else but their own ignorance and stupidity. Have you had enough yet?

The Sky Is Not Falling Bail Out Bill Non-Issue Issue

There are rumors about that the banks are going to say take the bill and shove it to the Fed. The chattering is over at Memeorandum in case you are interested. There are also rumors about that European banks are being bought out or folding and the Asian markets are all atwitter. Good thing we passed a bill effective 1/1/09 and must be completed by 2018.

More and more folks are catching on that Congress no longer does the Will of We The People. Todd Blumer of PJM makes this statement: Bailout Saga Proves that Elites Don’t Care What We Think. Exactly so. I wrote about this a few days ago in a post entitled, "The Will Of The Congress Will Be Done". Sen Reid and Rep Pelosi both stated that the will of Congress will be done regardless of We The People and what we had to say about it. Amazing isn't it? Even Feinstein, the one that says that she does the people's bidding said that nearly 10 to 1 folks were saying NO and she said she was voting for the bill anyway.

When Alec Baldwin, a Hollyweird type - knows that the Democrats caused the current financial non-meltdown meltdown, watch out for dropping pig turds. Check out the video here.

Just in case, watch out for pig turds falling from the sky on this one as well. There is a court order for Czarbie to produce a current and real birth certificate. We reported on it earlier but mdconservative has a shortened version. Others have been tracking this issue with grand zeal here.

What McCain Needs To Do Now

OK. Now that the unconstitutional economy bail out and the rape of the American tax payer has been set into stone, McCain can now come out swinging and expose the folks that are responsible for it all, including that fraud and socialist/Marxist lying bastard that he is Czarbie.

John McCain and the New Reagan can take the gloves off, now that the non-issue issue created by Democrats has been dealt with. The Democrats had to invent an issue because the Iraq issue is no longer an issue. The Democrats were wrong about Iraq right after they had been right about Iraq. Now, the economy is their mantra. Good. They screwed it up and now McCain must expose them for it.

Ace has a pretty good "conversation" tip...

"I stayed away from making these partisan attacks, even though you lied ridiculously about me and your own attempts at 'reform.' I held back, because partisan attacks -- even truthful ones -- would harm our country and reduce the chances of getting a vital bill passed.

"Well, the bill is now passed. I put country first. You didn't, and you lied on top of that. And now -- only now that this crisis has been dealt with, to the extent we can -- I'm going to give you a bit of straight-talk about Fannie, Freddie, my attempts to reform it, and your attempts to block reform on behalf of your big donors and friends in ACORN."

Hopefully so. He is entirely capable of doing this seeing that he is known to unload on people before. We also already know that those responsible have been angered that they have been exposed. As much as I can hardly stand Bill O'Reilly, he had one of the more obviously responsible cretins on his show the other day. The guy blew up. I would imagine that he was looking for some duct tape.

The Bail Out: I Call BS

I have a few questions. If in fact the sky was falling to such a degree on the 17th of September in the year of our Lord 2008 and, as the New York Times writer so states: "The extent of the credit crisis that unfolded from the morning of Sept. 17 to the afternoon of Sept. 18 was unseen to the public but spooked policy makers into action" is true, why, then does pages 448 and 449 of the unconstitutional bill state the following?

(d) EFFECTIVE DATE. - IN GENERAL. - Except as otherwise provided in this subsection, the amendments made by this section shall apply to amounts deferred which are attributable to services performed after December 31, 2008.

(2) APPLICATION TO EXISTING DEFERRALS. - In the case of any amount deferred to which the amendments made by this section do not apply solely by reason of the fact that the amount is attributable to services performed before January 1, 2009, to the extent such amount is not includible in gross income in a taxable year beginning before 2018, such amounts shall be includible in gross income in the later of - (A) the last taxable year beginning before 2018, or (B) the taxable year in which there is no substantial risk of forfeiture of the rights to such compensation (determined in the same manner as determined for purposes of section 457A of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as added by this section).

So, is the sky falling or not? Has Congress suddenly obtained the power to stall the sky from falling for THREE MONTHS? Can this be? Is it possible? The effective date if it passes in the House is AFTER 01 JAN 2009 and they have ELEVEN YEARS to accomplish the "bail out". That my friends is a very large and slow falling sky. The way everyone is acting, the sky is approximately two inches off of the ground at this moment. It gets worse, actually. On page 449 we also read:

ACCELERATED PAYMENTS. - No later than 120 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall issue guidance providing a limited period of time during which a nonqualified deferred compensation arrangement attributable to services performed on or before December 31, 2008, may, without violating the requirements of section 409A(a) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, be amended to conform the date of distribution to the date the amounts are required to be included in income.

So, as the sky is falling, we have to wait until New Year's Day 2009 for the First Responders to arrive and then, 120 days later, recommendations will be made as to how to address the situation. And, what exactly does "a limited amount of time" mean? But, if something has happened prior to 31 DEC 2008, let's say, way back to 1889, bad mortgages can be purchased?

Color me stupid. Or, just put a bullet in my head. With a HT to JWF, the Australian News has this article up entitled, Minutes left to save the world. JWF reply is as follows: "I guess if you're still around to read this the world has been saved." I guess so.

Free Enterprise and Capitalism Survives Congress

Seeing that our Constitution is a living breathing document, I would imagine that as it sits in that vacuum sealed box in DC, it sighed a very large sigh of relief hearing that those dastardly socialists lost their bid on the US economy yesterday.

Miss Queen Socialist Nanna sure was testy yesterday, wasn't she? Does she sense that her party is over? After the American People said no to socialism, I wonder if Miss Nanna is crying in her Perrier? And what about Czarbie? He projects himself as a Uniter and not a Divider yet he failed to unite 218 Democrats? What is that about? He can't even unite fellow socialists...how is he going to unite the world? Oh. Wait. He is planning on that Civilian National Security Force. I forgot. My bad. But, did he not claim that he and he alone was responsible for the "agreed upon deal" to save the nation?

Back to Nanna...she really screwed the pooch on this attempted socialist take over of the American economy that she fully intended on blaming on President Bush.

Orwell must be having a good laugh today. Nancy Pelosi yesterday released a summary of the bailout. Under the heading of "Protection for Taxpayers ..." Madame Speaker includes this whopper (my italics): The scheme "[a]llows the government to purchase troubled assets from pension plans, local governments, and small banks that serve low- and middle-income families."

So in addition to rewarding irresponsible lenders and borrowers, we taxpayers are now to be "protected" by buying the toxic debt of states, cities and municipalities. It's one thing to throw a life-line to the credit industry; local governments, by contrast, have the ability to cut spending drastically or raise taxes if their inhabitants want government services. [...]

On The Bail Out, Constitution And Stupid People

Consider this a PSM - a Public Service Message. I have collected a herd of blog posts and news articles in regards to economy related data. Have fun. I got them tucked away in my Daily Read file which changes from moment to moment. Once I link them to an article or two, they are removed from my Starred List. My Starred List is also linked in the left-hand side bar.

Freedom Dogs brings us a story where Newt Gingrich told Paulson to, and I paraphrase, hit the road and don't come back. Earlier in the day, it was shown where Newt reluctantly gave the nod to the bail out, if certain conditions were met. More than likely, the Constitutionality of the buy out. We shall see.

The WSJ writes about Europe about to go TU as the US decides on an unconstitutional bail out bill fraud. Who cares about Europe? They don't like us anyway. Screw Europe and their socialist crap. Speaking of crap, Boehner said he was going to vote for that crap sandwich of a bill. So, what do we do? Well, for starters you can stroll over to a particular web site and add whatever crap you'd like to see in the bill to make a better crap sandwich, HT Michelle Malkin. On a more serious note, go take a look at the top 10 reasons to defeat this bill just like we defeated the Shamnesty bill.

I already knew this having read the draft of the Sham Buy Out Bail Out Rescue Bill but, in case you don't know yet, Doug Ross says to be very afraid of this bill. To emphasize what he has written, every time I hear from CONgress, "This is a good bill", I shudder almost uncontrollably.

Jim Harper, once again, over at Washington Watch (somebody has to do it) has a very good summary of the draft summary of the Fraud Bill. It is a must read. While Thinkin' About Stuff warns us to watch our wallets, The Weekly Standard says that in theory we have the whole Fraud Bill in writing. I get the nuance. Just for the hell of it, here is their opening volley:

Nancy Pelosi announced today at a Democratic press conference long on self-aggrandizement and short on self-awareness, that the deal is done, and the text is online. Predictably, the government we're counting on to rescue world markets with a plan crafted in one week has not been able to craft a website that can handle such an announcement. Nonetheless, keep refreshing if you want to eventually see what these guys will be voting on. [...]

I would call that a direct hit. SABOT! Gateway Pundit brings us a disappointment to Czarbie and Pelosi. Apparently, the voter fraud kings and queens of ACORN pork was removed from the "emergency the sky is falling lie". Makes me wonder. What is that $700 BILLION for anyway? Is it for rescuing a non-failed economy or to line the pockets of fellow frauds, like Czarbie and Pelosi and ACORN? Gateway says to visit this site to view the "corrections and improvements" of the bill. The text of the ACORN "provision" is here.

RIGHTS; MANAGEMENT; SALE OF TROUBLED ASSETS; REVENUES AND SALE PROCEEDS. … (d) TRANSFER OF A PERCENTAGE OF PROFITS.— (1) DEPOSITS.—Not less than 20 percent of any profit realized on the sale of each troubled asset purchased under this Act shall be deposited as provided in paragraph (2). (2) USE OF DEPOSITS.—Of the amount referred to in paragraph (1)— (A) 65 percent shall be deposited into the Housing Trust Fund established under section 1338 of the Federal Housing Enterprises Regulatory Reform Act of 1992 (12 U.S.C. 4568); and (B) 35 percent shall be deposited into the Capital Magnet Fund established under section 1339 of that Act (12 U.S.C. 4569).

I will ask again, if this is TRULY a "rescue bill", why then is there so much pork and if there is so much pork, do they really need that $700 BILLION? I find it curious to say the least. Some are calling it fuzzy math. I am calling it fraud.

Another "just have to read this one" story is over at MsUnderestimated. They explain how the current non-issue is identical to the Katrina non-issue. Simply amazing. The causes are exactly the same. DAMN! Now, why didn't I think of that? Along those lines, Mel says that Biden is claiming that Czarbie is the hero of the finance non-issue. WOW! Now that is truly interesting. First he wanted no part in it and now he lays claim to it. What a scamster.

Ed Morrissey tells the tale how GOPers were not invited to the Sham Bill and were then blamed for not showing up...just like Liar Nancy said in this video. Doug Ross brings us testimony as to how secure, roses and green cloverish the Mae and Mac places were. He says it will piss you off. well, I don't need any help in that regard. I am already spring loaded into that position.

The lovely Anchoress says she has three words for us: Prayer. And. Fasting. And that is the end of that. I think she is right because in accordance with the folks at STACLU, the Leftinistra, the armies of the socialist liberal, want to tax Wall Street so "this doesn't happen anymore". Great. Since when did action like that ever stop anything from happening ever? More jibber-jabber.

Not one single fact can be hidden as to the root cause of this alleged meltdown. When even the NY Slimes reports the obvious, hell must have frozen over someplace. Speaking about honesty, ABP is going to irritate Nancy and Harry when they point out - much to the chagrin of the Leftinistra - that it is the Democrats that are "postponing this bill". They are the majority. Hello?

Given the fact, by Nancy's own verbiage, that the Dems didn't have enough of their own behind the bill, I find it curious that they blame the Republicans for stonewalling the issue, especially when their target of smears and lies was McCain. Incredible, isn't it?

Still, in all of this melee, no one has addressed the United States Constitution except a select few. One of them is here: Todd Gaziano writes;

A “resolution of disapproval” provision listed in the congressional Wall Street bailout compromise looks at first blush like an unconstitutional whooper, at least to nerd lawyers like me. Yet, I have an “inside” reason to believe it would not only be constitutional, it would be economically and democratically prudent. My former Department of Justice colleague, Marty Lederman, is on the right track. But it may not stay that way. Apart for the tricky “resolution of disapproval,” there is no evidence the White House or congressional negotiation team had their pocket Constitutions with them. The outline of the deal suggests: (1) the negotiators will not fix the fundamental constitutional problems with the previous bailout bills, and (2) they will raise new constitutional concerns. The figurative devil likely will be in the details of this compromise package, but let’s begin with a review the constitutional problems with the previous bailout bills. [...]

What The Bail Out Is All About

For decades, ladies and gentlemen, the Leftinistra have tried very hard to either dispense with or rewrite the United States Constitution. While in that process, they have accused President Bush of doing just that. Progressives, socialists, Marxists, communists and American liberals are one in the same. Their friends are enemies of Freedom and they think alike - only government can provide for the masses. Also, these same tried to surrender this nation to the enemy during a time of war yet, once again, the cowards in DC did nothing.

Remember when their friend Hugo Chavez tried hard to dispense with the Venezuelan Constitution and failed? Remember how their hearts were torn asunder and shortly thereafter Nancy was caught with her hand in the inner dealings of the Colombian-Venezuelan conflicts?

In recent days, the Ecuadorian government has itself set up to succeed in completing the socialist cycle and now the USSR Reborn is arming their socio-commie cohorts in the Western Hemisphere. Will we enforce the Monroe Doctrine? I hardly think so. Too many cowards are leading this nation.

Yesterday, an enemy of Freedom, Hugo Chavez had this to say:

No. It was Democrat Party leadership corruption that failed in their oversight. That is what has happened. It was governmental policy that allowed for and nourished corruption within Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and also AIG.

If you recall, when President Bush was forced to come up with something to fix what the Democrats wrought upon this nation, he was accused - by the socialists - of being a socialist. This pleases the likes of Nancy Pelosi, George Soros and the rest of the Enemies of The State from within. I make the assertion that this has been a contrived and concerted effort on the part of the Leftinistra. There are many videos available of men and women giving testimony that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were perfectly sound. Today, we know differently.

Today, Nancy Pelosi even admitted as such, although she doesn't realize it. She said that the party was over for the capitalists. This pleases her to a level that not even she could or would have been able to dream of. It was her party that allowed the nonsense to run amok and it was her party that refused there was a problem and it was her party that fought reform. Of this there is no doubt or question. Yet, we have politicians deathly afraid of coming out and revealing this in official capacities.

This makes me question my service to this nation. Was it all for nothing? Was my son's service all for nothing? Was my wife's service all for nothing? Did we serve so the politicians utilizing their powers to corrupt and breed corruption could negate the very Constitution we served to protect while they worked to undermine it? Did we serve so they could swear their Oaths of Service only to defraud the American People all in the name of political correctness?

Is it pitch forks at dawn time? Do we utilize our Constitutional Authority as citizens to take our government back from the socialists that occupy the Dishonorable Halls of CONgress Critters? Do we perform our Constitutional rights via the ballot box or do we just march on DC and physically challenge them and remove them from office?

Many of the Leftinistra that have frequented blogs that I contribute to and a host of others that I do not yet visit from time to time, have stated many times that our Constitution needs to be overhauled. One even came onto my BTR show last Saturday and stated that the Constitution contained over 100 errors in it so it is pretty much a useless document. Imagine that? When challenged, all the fool said was that Sarah Palin was a such and such and so was her daughter. The response was typical of a moonbat libtard.

In the same show, we had a liberal that came in and tried to disrupt but when asked to stay on topic, the visitor did just that and we had rational communication after they apologized for being a jerk. The Leftinistra in DC are incapable of this and more's the pity.

If this bail out bill goes through, ladies and gentlemen, it will end Free Markets. It will end Free Enterprise. It will set a precedent that we Conservatives cannot accept...or will not. This bail out bill, referred to as a rescue bill - a matter of semantics - is nothing more than a socialist spendathon and no matter the verbiage to the contrary, it will be a typical unenforceable bill. I have read the draft and although I am no legal beagle, I see no checks and balances therein. I also see no justification for it other than the usual socialist and emotional drivel. The draft is zero balance on common sense.

I read at The Crypt earlier today what Boehner said in a closed-door session:

In a closed-door session with House Republicans, Minority Leader John A. Boehner just called the financial rescue deal a “crap sandwich” – then said he’ll vote for it when it comes to the floor Monday. [...]

It is statements like this I fond wholly unacceptable. On the 17th of September, Paulson said the world was falling apart and we were soon going to float into the sun. That hasn't happened. And it isn't going to, either. This issue is a non-issue and the markets will fix itself. They always do with or without government intrusion and, quite frankly, they fix themselves faster when government stays out. So, why vote for it? When the likes of Kucinch isn't voting for it, there is something horribly wrong with it.
