On Changing Directions and General Petraeus

A Democratic senator on Saturday accused President Bush and congressional Republicans of hindering his party's attempts to chart a new course in Iraq even though U.S. troops are fighting violence "they cannot possibly resolve." [...]

That Democratic Party Senator (read Defeatist Troll) would be the Dishonorable Senator Bob Casey, D-PA. His "party's attempts to chart a new course in Iraq" is a defeatist course and is unacceptable to the vast majority of the American People and certainly not the course The United States Armed Services wants, needs or desires.

This same ignoramus also said the following:

Let us take a look at some developments that this fool and others like him cannot admit to and keep up with, shall we?

The Defeatists are demanding troop withdrawals and the silly imps don't even know that this has already been planned. I sure wish they could keep up. I suppose that this is not an example, one of several hundred, that this is violence "that they cannot possibly resolve", eh? it seems that what the Defeatists are in fear of is that GWB was right after all and they, once again, are on the wrong side of this all so important issue. They are also in fear of a Victory in Iraq and we must ask ourselves why that is...exactly.

If you have been following our articles/news on the 101st Airborne, you will find this Good News that the Defeatocrats ignore. An occurrence such as this as well as many others could not take place as easy as it has without the cooperation of the locals that are overwhelmingly coming to the aid of coalition forces.

And, yes, I do question their patriotism as I do, have and, always will question these fools at Sadly, NO!'s patriotism. It is fools such as these that the Defeatocrats cater and pander to. One of these days, the Defeatocrats will figure out these trivial and insignificant trolls of their moonbat base is not representative of the vast majority of Americans. If they were, why do they have so much trouble changing course from victory to defeat? And, if this war is so illegal and so unconstitutional, why then, haven't charges been brought up seriously? The last attempt was shear bluster on the part of Kucinich.

The distraction techniques the Defeatocrats use are the epiphany they so fear. It marks forever their inability to lead. The Defeatocrats also do not understand the phrase God and Country.

Yesterday I posted about Michael Yon's latest. I included the usual lament about lack of mainstream media coverage, as I have other times I've posted one of his dispatches. I've been referring to it as the "cone of silence" for a while, calling back to the old Get Smart television series that most of our readers are probably too young to remember.

I'm certainly not the only one who has noticed a dearth of coverage. Just yesterday, Investor's Business Daily said:

It takes people like Yon ... to tell us what's going on - not the highly paid prima donnas whose past reporting has made them so invested in defeat that they can no longer afford to tell us the truth.

However, this time one of our commenters, "glasnost", took me to task on the cone of silence assertion. His initial, and strongest, evidence consisted of three stories just yesterday in the New York Times. [...]

With Iran lending less and less help in Iraq, our troops are doing better at winning seeing that the proxy war with Iran is on hold for the time being. This is also bad news to the Defeatocrats.

One should also be able to conclude from the evident stupid actions of the Defeatocrats in recent days that the Good News flowing from the bowels of Iraq are simply too overwhelming for the cretins to accept and absorb into their collapsed cranial synapse pathways.

We already know that the latest pathetic maneuver of blustering is to give the hallucination that ReidCo has a spine. He does but it is made of jello. This equally pathetic piece by a known Leftinistra outlet is grasping at straws...

Talk Left:

Newsweek's newest political contributor, Markos of Daily Kos, has his first column up about the war funding bills and how Democrats so far have failed to keep their promise.

It's the second most widely read article on Newsweek's site. Go on over and read it. Besides being really good, it'd be great to push him to Number One. A snippet:

If Reid and Pelosi stand firm they will finally fulfill one of their key 2006 campaign promises, proving they have the courage to stand tough for what they believe, while giving the vast majority of the American people what they want.

If they yield they will reinforce perceptions of Democratic weakness. Worse, they will be siding with an unpopular president and an unpopular Republican Party over an unpopular war, and their own popularity will suffer as a result.

The options to those of us outside of the Beltway are so obvious it's truly unfathomable that we are still left wondering which path the Democrats will take.

Congress is now on a two week break. The Senate returns December 3 and the House on December 4.

First of all, as I have previously stated on many a post and comment, if anyone EVER says that there is Ever a popular war, I will show you a complete fool.

Secondly, the "vast majority of American people" these idiots always refer to are non-existent. Not once have these poor Children of The Corn ever presented any substantiation for that piece of ignorant rhetoric. The obvious escapes the oblivious. If the VAST majority of Americans believed as these GOMERS did, the ReidCo Clan would not be having the problems they are having. Period. Dot. Com.

Thirdly, the "perceptions of Democratic weakness" is not a perception at all. It is a fact...a grim reality these sad sots cannot accept.

Fourthly, the Democrats "failed to keep their promises" because they lied and they are lying now and these idiots keep falling for their lies. Let me explain something to these poor deluded wonders. It can all be seen in an earlier posting today, right here at A Newt One.

The funding for the War In Iraq has already been previously funded PRIOR to the recent "monkeys humping a football" quagmire called debate in the House and Senate. All this dog and pony show was to give the illusion that ReidCo had a spine. He doesn't. He is a milquetoast, a fraud and a phony patriot. He is a liar. He has a sniveling pie hole and it needs to be stuffed with concrete.

Fifthly, if the Leftinistra allow this latest tom foolery to go on, approximately 100,000 folks are going to have a pretty pathetic Christmas, most of which are union voters. Well done.

Sixthly, the path the Democrats will take is the primrose path to that Abyss of Obscurity that the Conservative Tsunami is going to sweep them into.

I am glad there are others that can see through the glass that is dark as I can and have been able to for years on end.

Earlier today, I was in search of Leftinistra blogs and news outlets that could at least give credit where credit was due in regards to the veterans that have made it possible for the Leftinistra to be as free as everyone else in this country. The closest I came to finding one was here and it devolved into a Bush Bashing Rant.

Over at Stop The ACLU, I found a small rant about the blog entitled Think Progress. Everybody but Think Progress knows that they are Leftinistra proponents and there is absolutely no truth whatsoever of their insidious silliness in claiming to be non-partisan. I have always wanted to know what they were wanting to "progress" towards. Clearly, they are "progressive" in their thinking and so is Hillary and she is a Budding Leninist. Stalin would be proud of Think Progress. They have the majority of their readers convinced that they aren't socialists at heart.

The "Think Progress" blog claims to be "non-partisan" but also claims to promote "progressive" ideas. So apparently it is Leftist and impartial at the same time. Maybe that makes sense to Leftists but logic obviously took a holiday from there a long time ago. In a recent effusion, they describe a TV weatherman who doubts global warming as "discredited" but give no information about how, when or why he became discredited. They say that his expertise in weather is not enough to qualify him to talk about climate. Apparently you have to have qualifications in climatology to talk informatively about climate. That requirement does exclude both Al Gore and the writers of Think Progress from commenting on climate but, with their usual freedom from logic, they do not seem to see that at all. Amy Ridenour and Noel Sheppard rub it in...

The Leftinistra cannot ever substantiate a thing. They are really good at belching out opinions and having folks that don't know any better, fall for their crap, lies and garbage, lock-step and conundrum. The emotional are like that and can be easily led astray by high-sounding ideals and verbiage.

The bottom line is this...Think Progress is no more non-partisan than Hillary is a Conservative.

With all the blustering about what they "would do differently than GWB", we shall see what their responses will be for Pakistan. Obama had once said that he would bomb Pakistan and Hillary has changed rhetoric about Pakistan during several debates.

Every time I hear a Democratic Party Presidential Aspirant yammer on about nothing, really, I hear the ramblings of a Phony Patriot.


Anyway, Hillary will retreat into wherever she is right now and will undergo a complete make-over since her self-induced trouncing of self during the last debate. She got got.

The Leftinistra ALWAYS run on the mantra of "change". But, what change have they affected? N.O.T.H.I.N.G.. Why is that? That is easy to answer. They lied to get into power back in 2006 and ever since then, they have back-peddled and waffled and lost EVERY contest. The "change" they wish to affect is not what the vast majority want. And, the vast majority are NOT the kook fringe Moonbats of The Fruit Loop Brigades.

Why Left and Right Must Unite

Would the left and right uniting be a good cause? Could this reunion be beneficial to the American way of life? The answers, obviously, would be an emphatic and resounding, "HELL YES!" The next question would be, is it possible? The answer to that question is "Rather" esoteric, don't you think?

When I first received this link and article in my email from my friend Cassy, my initial response was that I thought Cassy had gone off the deep end...I was wrong. GASP! Snooper wrong? EGAD! What has the world come to? A deeply felt thank you goes out to Cassy...this has given me pause to consider.

The article is from The August Review, written by one Patrick Wood. It is indeed a noble cause and at the same time, wishful thinking. Our society has devolved into a quagmire of politicians seeking political gain at the expense of National Security and National Sovereignty. As long as the politicians from both sides of the House would stay out of the way of We The People, perhaps a reunion could be possible. Alas, those of us on the Right have no intension of bowing down to the March to Socialism the Left so espouses. The problem is, the followers within the Left have no clue what their leadership directs. The first priority would be to reeducate the Left and, at the same time, reel in the fruit loops on the Right, namely, the Paulievs, whose minions are no better than the A.N.S.W.E.R. crowds.

I wrote an article at one time entitled, "We Had A Patriotic Nation Once". That article received a second place ranking of TOCB in comments totaling 140. It seems Patriotism, in this country, is considered to be arrogant and filled with blood-lust. The very notion that Patriotism has become a four-letter word is abhorrent to this DAV. Until this revulsion of Patriotism is neutralized, this notion of reuniting the Left and Right towards one gaol, primarily, to defeat this nation's enemy, is subject to psychological investigation.

Many items need to be explained and retaught and, that road alone is indeed an uphill battle. There are several avenues to go on the offensive over and there are an equally number of topics to address. The problems are manifold and so manifestly ensconced into our society by the elitists that the process will require a deep acid etching to remove the deep-rooted fallacy of Globalization.

The elitists on both sides DO NOT WANT THIS FIXED...get that through your noggin first and foremost. They have orchestrated this Vast Political Divide in this country and we have not be this politically split since the early 1860's...look where that got us.

One of our Founding Fathers stated: "We need a bloody revolution every twenty years, just to keep government honest." There is an article, one of many, located here in regards to these words.

The August Review has started down this journey here and I have signed up and will be watching the progress thereof. I hope I won't have to say, "I told you so." Hopefully, someone will say this to me.
