Fausta posts a video of Alfonzo explaining why he is a Conservative which just so happens to tie in nicely to the recent demise of the Old Passe Media and thus giving way to the Main Street Media as explained by Mike Pence.

While reading an article, once again by Fausta, it only solidified the fact that Czarbama is without a doubt the Marxist his mentors would be proud of. The article was about Hugo Chavez and his socialization of Venezuela. Denying the close ties Czarbama and those that "feel" as he does is tantamount to the willful suspension of disbelief.

Coupling that with his vacation to Hawaii and avoiding an appearance, once again, with the Troops with McCain at Fort Hood for a Townhall, perhaps it will expose further his continual contempt for the United States Armed Forces. His apparent fear of an encounter with McCain is laughable and utterly revealing.

Taking a peak at the #dontgo movement web site, I ran across a post in regards to what Alexa Shrugged witnessed on the House Floor as the GOP Rebellion was making historic inroads and historic exposure of the would-be Czarina of the People's House. With the advent of the #dontgo movement, came the surprising demise of the fabled MoveOn group. Their efforts to silence the movement "udderly" and dismally failed.

I also read the letter to Lindsey Graham written by Scott from SC in regards to the Ten Thugs, aka Gang of Ten. I suggest we all read this and utilize it as a template for future letters to our non-representative representatives. The letter contains items such as:

[...] I won't waste your time by telling you that you and the other four Republican Senators in the so called "gang of ten" have been a huge disappointment to us regarding your "leftist" actions in the Senate. [...]

The letter is very well written and I agree with the sentiments wholeheartedly. In conjunction with this letter, I offer this article. It explains the utter ignorance of the Gang of Ten and their incredulous lunacy. We are on the brink of fuel independence and they are trying to slam those doors shut. When you write your letters and make those phine calls, use the data within the report.

Amazingly enough, I have read hundreds of blog posts today. I have confirmed the content of Sonlit Knight's post entitled, Obama meltdown could be historic. It isn't that it "could be" historic, it is in fact historic. And the meltdown isn't that McCain is making a "come back" which, he certainly is albeit ever on an upwards crawl, it is the fact that the emotional gravy train is at its end for Czarbama.

I predicted over 6 months ago that the eerie and uncanny emotional commotion surrounding The One was going to die off and leave his followers, supporters and stretcher bearers spent and out of gas - no pun intended. We witnessed the emotional collapse when it was apparent and factual that the Old Media tried to revive that emotional escapade. The emotion train is at its end. One cannot lift up such an emotional torrent for extended periods of time.

It is at this time that I would like to thank Madam Pelosi for uniting Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. The vast majority of Americans are fed up with her kind no matter their political party membership.

Conservative Tsunami Is Rising...Ride The Wave

The eight most recent public polls show the President's job approval is rising while approval of Congress is plummeting. The four polls that measured job approval for both the President and Congress show the President's ratings are higher. Surveys show Americans give high marks to the economy and that the GOP is regaining its lead on taxes while voters reject Congressional Democrats on earmarks and pork.

Polls show that on Iraq, voters reject Democrats' calls for immediate withdrawal, clearly recognize the consequences of defeat, and are waiting for General Petraeus and Ambassador Crocker to report in September.

As voters see signs that the surge is working in Baghdad and Anbar, optimism is increasing with more people believing the war was the right thing to do and that the war is going better. The more people see the clear differences between the policies of Republicans and Democrats, the stronger our position.

On Iraq, Republicans want decisions made on recommendations of our military commanders based on conditions on the ground. Democrats seem to pay more attention to the strategic judgments of MoveOn.Org, Cindy Sheehan and Michael Moore than they do our military commanders in battle.

Republicans have offered a plan to balance the budget by freezing growth in discretionary domestic spending to less than 1% and with no tax increases, resulting in a surplus by 2012. Democrats want $205 billion more in spending over the next five years and the largest tax increase in history.

Republicans are working hard to confirm judges who will uphold the Constitution by strictly interpreting the law. Democrats have fallen into their old pattern of obstruction, delay and opposition to the highly qualified conservative judicial candidate the President has nominated.

Republicans are working to make certain the nearly 700,000 poor children not covered by the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) get health care coverage, supporting a 20% in funding for SCHIP. Democrats want a 140% increase in spending to move children and families with private health insurance onto government-run health care and would shift the focus from poor children to adults with incomes of up to $83,000 a year. Having failed to have the Federal government take over the health care system all at once, Democrats are now holding approval of SCHIP hostage so they can begin having Washington take control of your health care one big chunk at a time.

August represents an excellent opportunity to continue highlighting these differences and to build on our momentum as Americans come to understand the big differences between the parties in policies that affect our lives and the failure of the Reid-Pelosi led Congress.

As we all know, the Leftinistra will always paint themselves into a corner as I have written about I don't know how many times. In my opinion, the latest Corner Painting Party was Reids Overnight Slumber Party Blabathon. The next one will be Hillary's Pentagon Face Off Quagmire.

The one after that is the continuing debacle of the Haditha and Hamdania travesty initiated by the loud-mouthed schnook Murtha. I have written of this extensively as well.

Today, I blogged here and here and here in regards to the leading Americans down the wrong path and this is supported by Amy's piece.

Fraud veterans and phony reports from Iraq, printed and aired by KNOWN socialist affiliated media are no longer accepted as gospel and will be challenged to no end.

No longer will we Reagan Era Conservatives sit back on our lazy-assed laurels and let the Leftinistra have their way, all in the name of playing nice-nice. My gloves came off years ago.

I am looking for a new party because the GOP has abandoned Conservatism by nominating and electing conmen instead of statesmen.

If enough of us slap them with the truth, the GOP might wake up, I ain’t holding my breath in anticipation, but this may be our best shot, besides withholding financial support.

On June 12, 1987, President Ronald Reagan declared, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!” It was our generation’s equivalent to “Remember the Alamo!” This month we celebrate the 20th anniversary of this wonderful declaration for the cause of freedom on behalf of repressed people in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Grzebski is, of course, thrilled to see the wife who cared for him and the 11 grandchildren he didn’t even know he had. But he is also shocked at how his homeland has changed. “When I went into a coma, there was only tea and vinegar in the shops, meat was rationed, and huge gas lines were everywhere,” he told Polish TV. “Now I see people on the streets with cell phones and there are so many goods in the shops it makes my head spin. What amazes me is all these people who walk around with their mobile phones and never stop moaning. I’ve got nothing to complain about.”

Success in politics depends on the ability of a candidate or a party to forge and maintain coalitions. One of the most successful coalitions in modern political history has been the “Reagan Coalition”, which brought together economic and social conservatives under the umbrella of the Republican Party. Preserving that coalition brought the Republicans great success, including occupancy of the White House and twelve years of control over the House of Representatives. The coalition that Reagan fashioned is fraying, however, and is on the verge of unraveling. The causes are many, but the coup de grace is likely to be the current controversy over immigration.

At first blush, the union of economic and social conservatives seems an odd one. The most influential among the economic conservatives are the “blue bloods”. They are fiscally conservative, but often socially liberal. They enjoy the trappings of money and power and see politics as a means of increasing both. Consequently, they invest in political campaigns as a “cost of doing business”, expecting that if they ride the right horse across the finish line, they will get a “return on investment” which usually comes in the form of tax breaks, financial subsidies, or limited accountability for their misconduct. Cash is the currency of the rich and powerful, and they do not hesitate to invest it in political campaigns. Financial concerns are at the top of their list.

WASHINGTON - Former Tennessee Sen. Fred Thompson - who stars as Manhattan DA Arthur Branch on NBC’s “Law & Order” - is quitting the show and will file papers this week to begin raising the millions needed for a White House campaign, supporters said yesterday.

“There is a vacuum to be filled,” said former Georgia Sen. Mack Mattingly, who helped lay the groundwork to launch a nationwide Thompson campaign overnight.

“People are still looking for that Ronald Reagan candidate,” said one early supporter. Thompson’s formal announcement could come in the first week of July, supporters said.

Even before launching any sort of campaign, Thompson runs a comfortable third or fourth place in polls among a Republican field of more than 10 candidates.

It will be nice to have Fred join the pack. Good luck to him. Perhaps he will team up with Duncan Hunter?

For some time now, I have been receiving emails asking my view of the election and the candidates who are competing for nomination, both Democrats and Republicans. Some people have urged me to get involved as I did in 1996 and 2000. Since I ran against him in Illinois in 2004, some of the media have sought my comments on Barack Obama’s campaign and personality. Because our understanding of politics has been corrupted, we cannot discuss what threatens our political sovereignty until we free ourselves from the effects of that corruption. Thus, though the very possibility of electoral politics derives from moral premises that justify and require self-government, we are led to consider our political choices without regard to those moral premises, as if economic and other material consequences are the only proper subjects of political life.

Abraham Lincoln described the American Constitution as “government of the people, by the people, and for the people.” He recognized the sovereignty of the people as the essential characteristic of republican self-government.

The people exercise this sovereignty through periodic elections, in which they choose their representatives — the legislators and magistrates who make and carry out the laws. Obviously, the reality of the people’s sovereignty depends on the integrity of the elections, that is, on whether or not they represent a true choice by the people.

If their choice is decided by fraud or deceit, or preemptively determined by some other means, the exercise of sovereign power passes to the successful deceivers and manipulators, whoever they may be. In this event, the outward appearance of elections is simply a way of procuring the people’s submission to the will of their actual rulers, which they more readily offer on account of the delusion that this will is the result of their own decision. Thanks to the entertainment imperative that drives media coverage of our political affairs, it would come as no surprise if Americans treated elections for political office about as seriously as voting for this week’s “American Idol” contenders.

Of course, the “American Idol” winners won’t be deciding whether to send our troops into combat, or how best to confront the persistent challenge of terrorism. They also won’t have to decide whether to put their careers on the line in order to make sure a region devastated by a hurricane gets timely and effective help coping with the disaster and its aftermath. More often than not, only the life or death of their egos is at stake when entertainers vie for prominence — not the lives of thousands, or even millions of their fellow citizens. (part 4 continued)

PERISH the thought!! (no offense to Gull…LOL) However, Newt Gingrich makes valid and viable points. From the man that drafted the Contract With America that the GOP has since abandoned in the name of political suicide, he has these words of wisdom to make known:

“…I know this will seem strange to those of us who like to make jokes about the French, but the fact is that there is a great deal to be learned from the victory of Nicolas Sarkozy (a member of the ruling party) in last weekend’s “change” election in France — and Republicans had better learn it…”

After having read quite a few articles about the recent developments in France and the eery silence from the Leftinistra about these same changes, the words of Newt have an all new meaning and intensity. Can you pick it out? There is a key phrase in the following paragraph. I’ll not highlight it…yet. Let’s see if anyone can spot “it”.

“…Normally, with the incumbent conservative government so unpopular, the left would have been expected to win the election, probably by a significant margin. But the conservative candidate, Nicolas Sarkozy, won decisively because he is an aggressive, different kind of French political leader. He is a member of the Chirac government — the Minister of the Interior. But not only is he a man who is willing to stand up and fight for what he believes in, but Sarkozy is also a man who hasn’t followed the normal French path to success by going to an elite university, becoming part of the ruling elite and fitting in…”

Did you spot it? It sticks out like a sore thumb to me! I had my 12 and 17 year old sons read this article and THEY picked it out in a matter of minutes!!

And, last but not least, these words ring truer than they ever have. RONALD WILSON REAGAN WHERE ARE YOU!!!

“…If Republicans hope to win the presidency next year, they better find a candidate who is prepared to stand for very bold, very dramatic and very systematic change in Washington. Not only that, but they had better make the case that the left-wing Democrat likely to be nominated represents the failed status quo: the bureaucracies that are failing, the social policies that are failing, the high tax policies that are failing, and the weakness around the world that has failed so badly in protecting America…”

I read an interesting item today: What Conservatives Want by Dean Barnett. Tragically, he may be correct but hopefully, he may be wrong. I am hoping for the latter.

In the article, he said that it probably won’t matter if we win in Iraq…he says it may be a non-story. This is where the dead-beat and AWOL Silent Majority comes into play. If we are afraid of the media; if we are afraid to confront the Vocal Minority; if we are afraid to make waves; if we are afraid to fight for that which we know in our hearts to be right and true; we will AUTOMATICALLY support and fall for that which we know in our hearts to be false and wrong. If this happens and we allow the Leftinistra (The Armies of the Socialist Liberals), to rewrite our Constitution in their multiculturalistic ideals, we will bring our woes upon ourselves, deservedly so, and everything that befalls us, we will deserve.

Our Christian-Judeo existence will cease to exist. Our family values will cease to exist. Our Traditional America will cease to exist. Our Freedoms will cease to exist. Our children will be raised according to Socialistic mandates. America as we knew it growing up; as we learned as children; as we took for granted; will cease to exist.

Are we going to allow the Vocal Minority, ruled by the Multiculturalists, rule the day? Are we going to allow these words to ring true? “…Even if the press plays things straight, which is a very generous assumption, it’s tough to imagine how successful operations in Baghdad can make the same dramatic splash that our setbacks have. With all those factors in play, it’s unlikely that Iraq will shift in the public’s eye from a dreadful quagmire to an inspiring victory, even if that shift occurs in reality…”

I, for one, will NOT sit, stand, kneel, genuflect, wait for the fad to fade, and watch this country be destroyed from the inside out. It may be against insurmountable odds; it may be a long row to hoe; it may take marches on D.C.; it may take more drastic measures; but take action I will.
I didn’t spill the blood of my country’s enemies and have mine spilled on the battlefields to sit back and watch the likes of Jihad Jane, Pelosi, Schumer, Murtha, et al, reign in The New Socialist States of the American Continent.

We have had an American Revolution and an American Civil War on our soil before. I pray this never comes to pass but if it does, the dead-beat and cowardly Silent Majority will be to blame…period.

All one has to do is visit the liberal web sites; all one has to do is read the liberal press; all one has to do is watch the liberal news shows, to see what is happening to this country that many have died for to defend. Will we, the Silent Majority let it be all for naught?
