This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

History and Facts: Alien To the Leftinistra

~Snooper~

Some time ago, Q&O published a piece describing the inner workings of people living in Peter Pan zone. The dwellers of fantasy land were totally amazed that our enemies can learn tactics. Tactics? We don't need no stinkin' tactics! Maybe the Leftinistra need to learn from our enemies and develop new tactics. Lord knows they need to come up with new material. Their crap is so old it doesn't stink anymore.

Also a while back, RWN brought us the Top 10 Gaffes of Czarbie. I could have sworn there were more. Oh. Wait. That was the Top 10. My bad. The whole article is at Townhall.

As I have written before, History Will Vindicate President Bush, Charles Krauthammer has confirmed. However, it is politically expedient for cowards to blame everything on our current President. For such a stupid man and for such a horrible President, using their words, President Bush sure has beaten them at every turn and every issue. I don't think that says good or positive things about his critics. They are self-professed "better" and "smarter" than he. If so, why did he trounce them so? Amazing.

They remind me of the idiots of Code Skank and the other idiots in Vermont.
[...] I’m not sure what they mean by “frightened many people into silence.” I’m having a hard time keeping up with what all the Bush-hating, Palin-bashing, McCain-disparaging wackjobs are jawing about over the general wacked clamor. But maybe even the most shameless Obama watercarrier in the press finds Bugliosi’s level of wack embarrassing. [...]
Andrew Fell says for the anti-Americanists to drop it already. Well, I tell them to drop dead.

We have heard that Roosevelt was such a GREAT President, correct? Well, Chicago Ray gives a history lesson the Leftinistra run away from:
When they spit out that ad nauseum talking point claiming that Palin the VP CHOICE isn't qualified enough to step in and be president if McCain is elected and some lunatic lib from the Daily Kos crew decides to assassinate him.

There once was a great president who to this day the libs point to as one of their few successes in history, and he too was a small town Governor like Sarah Palin and his name was Roosevelt....[...]
Indeed. I never thought that he was even sort of good President. He is the one that got socialism embedded into our politics. Whatever y'all do, DON'T get Chicago Ray going on Czarbie!

We all know why Czarbie isn't winning and we all know why Czarbie will not be the next President. The Leftinistra were wrong on the Troop Surge. The Leftinistra were wrong about McCain. The Leftinistra are on the wrong side of the energy crisis. The Leftinistra are on the wrong side of the financial crisis.

Any questions? Remember, the Leftinistra thrive on rewriting history.

9/1850

September of 1850

Do you know what happened September 9th in 1850, in California? California became a state. The State had no electricity. The State had no money. Almost everyone spoke Spanish. There were gunfights in the streets.

Basically, it was just like California today; except the women had real boobs and the men didn’t hold hands.

And The Revisionists Keep At It

Is It Any Wonder…

Is It Any Wonder…

…that the Leftinistra desire, LUST over, the rewriting of our Framers?

“But ambitious encroachments of the federal government, on the authority of the State governments, would not excite the opposition of a single State, or of a few States only. They would be signals of general alarm… But what degree of madness could ever drive the federal government to such an extremity.”

– James Madison (Federalist No. 46, 29 January 1788)

A VERY similar sentiment here:

Power and deceit are tools of statecraft, yes. But remember that power deludes the ones who wield it — making them believe it can overcome the defects of their ignorance.

Thought Nazis?

LOL!! Leftist Thought Control?

LOL!! Leftist Thought Control?

Friday, May 11, 2007 4:57 PM

go here! This is too funny. Well, maybe “funny” isn’t the correct word or descriptor but it is the word my brain chose to type.

“The political left, which holds itself as progressive, rational and fact-based, is becoming an enemy of academic inquiry, and a practitioner of thought control on a wide variety of issues. Increasingly, from the left’s perspective, there is just one acceptable viewpoint…”

The ONLY acceptable viewpoint to a Leftinistra is the one they regurgitate at any given moment in time…and it forever changes with the wind…never constant except the direction the wind is blowing. The Leftinistra spout “tolerance” yet are SO intolerant of others with differing viewpoints. What is that all about? I thought they welcomed debate. Oh. Wait. As long as the world agrees with them, there is no need for debate. Sounds “Rather” socialistic to me.

“…Consider efforts of the left to silence conservative talk radio. Consider the mainstream media’s arrogant denial of its transparent liberal bias, pronouncing itself to be above politics and inherently objective and its critics somehow skewed…”

Freedom of speech to a Leftinistra is ONLY “fair” when their diatribes are accepted as Gospel. Anything contrary to the Leftinistra mantra(s) is considered as being intolerant yet their berating others for disagreeing with them is in and of itself “intolerant”…yes?

“…By pronouncing an end to debate — just because they say so — they betray the very principles they claim to uphold: an adherence to scientific inquiry and a commitment to facts and reason in favor of ideologically and politically driven conclusions…”

“Just because they say so”; interesting isn’t it?

“…If this trend continues, it’s hard to imagine what we’ll see in the next decade. How the left can consider itself fair and open-minded in view of such developments is beyond comprehension…”

Simple. They are doing their BEST to rewrite our history, Constitution and The World According To Garth. Read the entire article.

Rewriting History a Classroom at a Time

By now, we’re used to people like Iranian President Ahmadinejad denying that the holocaust ever happened, even while he and his regime promise not only the destruction of Israel but the elimination of Jews internationally.

It’s bad enough hearing from a distance about the bizarre anti-Semitic theories taught by heads of state as well as schools and religious leaders. Now, according to a study funded by the British government, we find out that some schools in Great Britain have stopped teaching history that is offensive to Muslim students. The topics that have been erased from the curriculum, the study found, include both the Nazi genocide and the Crusades.

Lefties Rewrite Everything

GWOT or no GWOT?

GWOT or no GWOT?

Thursday, April 05, 2007 4:13 PM

A couple days ago, I posted an item where the Leftinistra were trying to do away with the terms Global War On Terror and The Long War in the verbiage for the upcoming defense budget bill(s). Evidently, someone is trying to make them “see the light’, as it were. Good luck.

Rewriting History…Again!!! (and got caught)

A memo sent to Democratic staffers on the House Armed Services Committee instructed the aides not to use the specific phrases, the Military Times newspaper reported.

The memo is here in pdf format.

Erin Conaton, the committee’s staff director, sent out the 15-page memo titled “Style Guide for Defense Authorization Report.”

“When referencing military operations throughout the world, please be as specific as possible. Please avoid using colloquialisms such as, ‘the war on terrorism, or the ‘Long War’ Please do not use the term ‘global war on terrorism,’ ” according to the memo.

Late Wednesday afternoon, a source told FOX News that the panel had sent out a revised version making it clear that there was “no political intent behind” the wording.

Relly? There was no political intent? Then, what, pray tell, was the motivation? Political Correctness?

What a bunch of fruit loops!!

Since when do the CONgress Critters dictate Foreign Policy?

See? All you have to do is change the terminology and the truth vanishes!

If you don’t like the way it sounds, make it go away.

If it doesn’t promote your ideology, change the phraseology.

Simple.

Leftinistra Rewrite Everything To Promote Their Stupidity

No more GWOT, House committee decrees

By Rick Maze - Staff writer

The House Armed Services Committee is banishing the global war on terror from the 2008 defense budget.

This is not because the war has been won, lost or even called off, but because the committee’s Democratic leadership doesn’t like the phrase.

A memo for the committee staff, circulated March 27, says the 2008 bill and its accompanying explanatory report that will set defense policy should be specific about military operations and “avoid using colloquialisms.”

The “global war on terror,” a phrase first used by President Bush shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the U.S., should not be used, according to the memo. Also banned is the phrase the “long war,” which military officials began using last year as a way of acknowledging that military operations against terrorist states and organizations would not be wrapped up in a few years.

Committee staff members are told in the memo to use specific references to specific operations instead of the Bush administration’s catch phrases. The memo, written by Staff Director Erin Conaton, provides examples of acceptable phrases, such as “the war in Iraq,” the “war in Afghanistan, “operations in the Horn of Africa” or “ongoing military operations throughout the world.”

“There was no political intent in doing this,” said a Democratic aide who asked not to be identified. “We were just trying to avoid catch phrases.”

Josh Holly, a spokesman for Rep. Duncan Hunter of California, the committee’s former chairman and now its senior Republican, said Republicans “were not consulted” about the change.

Committee aides, speaking on the condition of anonymity, said dropping or reducing references to the global war on terror could have many purposes, including an effort to be more precise about military operations, but also has a political element involving a disagreement over whether the war in Iraq is part of the effort to combat terrorism or is actually a distraction from fighting terrorists.

House Democratic leaders who have been pushing for an Iraq withdrawal timetable have talked about the need to get combat troops out of Iraq so they can be deployed against terrorists in other parts of the world, while Republicans have said that Iraq is part of the front line in the war on terror. Rep. Ike Skelton, D-Mo., the armed services committee chairman, has been among those who have complained that having the military tied up with Iraq operations has reduced its capacity to respond to more pressing problems, like tracking down al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.

“This is a philosophical and political question,” said a Republican aide. “Republicans generally believe that by fighting the war on terror in Iraq, we are preventing terrorists from spreading elsewhere and are keeping them engaged so they are not attacking us at home.”

However, U.S. intelligence officials have been telling Congress that most of the violence in Iraq is the result of sectarian strife and not directly linked to terrorists, although some foreign insurgents with ties to terrorist groups have been helping to fuel the fighting.

“You have to wonder if this means that we have to rename the GWOT,” said a Republican aide, referring to the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medals established in 2003 for service members involved, directly and indirectly, in military operations in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere in the world.

“If you are a reader of the Harry Potter books, you might describe this as the war that must not be named,” said another Republican aide. That is a reference to the fact that the villain in the Harry Potter series, Lord Voldemort, is often referred to as “he who must not be named” because of fears of his dark wizardry.
