I find it "Rather" curious that the intolerance so exhibited by the American Leftinistra are akin to the intolerance shown to the women in Iran and other similar countries. Why they bark, whine and complain about "Bush's War" and demand the impeachment of the Bush Administration, the Iranian Clerics, as others in other countries, we find this: A top Muslim cleric in Iran, Hojatolislam Gholam Reza Hassani said on Wednesday that women in Iran who do not wear the hijab or Muslim headscarf, should die. Where is the outrage? In the same article, we find this accompanying statement: "These women and their husbands and their fathers must die," said Hassani, who is the representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in eastern Azerbaijan.

Nice and tolerant folks, eh?

I also wonder often why the American Leftinistra so embolden the enemy with their anti-Americanist rants.

Before I get into the PC issue that many of us are extremely concerned about, here is a blog entry that explains just how insidious the Libtards are. Now, back to the post at hand.

For posterity, on Dec 11, 2007, HR 847 passed the House 372 Yeas and 9 Nays. 10 voted "present". "Present" equals neither a Yeah or Nay but gets slated as a Yeah because they didn't say Nay...convoluted, I know. 40 cast no vote at all. What is HR 847? Here ya go. H. Res. 847: Recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith. Ain't that sweet? We had to have a "resolution" in this Judeo-Christian fundamentally founded country. Recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith.

Whereas Christmas, a holiday of great significance to Americans and many other cultures and nationalities, is celebrated annually by Christians throughout the United States and the world;

Whereas there are approximately 225,000,000 Christians in the United States, making Christianity the religion of over three-fourths of the American population;

Whereas there are approximately 2,000,000,000 Christians throughout the world, making Christianity the largest religion in the world and the religion of about one-third of the world population;

Whereas Christians identify themselves as those who believe in the salvation from sin offered to them through the sacrifice of their savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and who, out of gratitude for the gift of salvation, commit themselves to living their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Bible;

Whereas Christians and Christianity have contributed greatly to the development of western civilization;

Whereas the United States, being founded as a constitutional republic in the traditions of western civilization, finds much in its history that points observers back to its roots in Christianity;

Whereas on December 25 of each calendar year, American Christians observe Christmas, the holiday celebrating the birth of their savior, Jesus Christ;

Whereas for Christians, Christmas is celebrated as a recognition of God's redemption, mercy, and Grace; and

Whereas many Christians and non-Christians throughout the United States and the rest of the world, celebrate Christmas as a time to serve others: Now, therefore be it

Resolved, That the House of Representatives--

(1) recognizes the Christian faith as one of the great religions of the world;

(2) expresses continued support for Christians in the United States and worldwide;

(3) acknowledges the international religious and historical importance of Christmas and the Christian faith;

(4) acknowledges and supports the role played by Christians and Christianity in the founding of the United States and in the formation of the western civilization;

(5) rejects bigotry and persecution directed against Christians, both in the United States and worldwide; and

(6) expresses its deepest respect to American Christians and Christians throughout the world.

This saddens me beyond comprehension. Why should the House have to perform this "duty". 195 Democrats and 177 Republicans voted in the affirmative for the Resolution. 9 Democrats voted in the negative for the Resolution. Of the 10 "present", 9 were Democrats and 1 was Republican. 19 Democrats and 21 Republicans did not vote. 391 voted out of 435. That is pretty sad and lame to boot. There are 60 co-sponsors to the Resolution.

I can almost hear the Libtards writhing in pure hatred to the resolution and the passing thereof.

HR 1585 Is Another Version of Shamnesty

Here we go again with the Dick Durbin socialist give away program in the hopes of cultivating some votes in the future. I wonder if this would even be an issue of the Leftinistra if we hadn't, as a nation, killed off several generations of voters via abortions.

If you don't want to pay, don't play. Overturn roe v Wade and let the states sort it out individually. What we will find, as Mitt Romney and others have said, the abortion rates will plummet.

The above is truly indicative of the Double Standards of the Leftinistra. This is a travesty of which the penalties thereof we, as a nation, are now suffering from. The core values of the Leftinistra are in a void.

Why do they not wail and gnash teeth over this issue?

As for HR 1585, why is it that the Leftinistra are so set on giving ILLEGAL ALIENS, CRIMINALS, that which the American Citizenry does NOT have access to? What message are they sending to the citizen proper? What message are they sending to criminals?

The Beginning Of The End For The Dishonorable Senator Kennedy?

It seems as though he has fallen from grace from his moonbat fringe fruit loops. This is what happens when you try and please everyone to save your political stature. You wind up pissing everybody off, eventually.

If you recall, Kennedy and his merry band of double standard bearers didn't want Wind Farms erected because they would block their views of Nantucket Sound. It has returned to bite him in his butt.

The energy-producing wind farm on Nantucket Sound was slated to be the first such project in the U.S., and polls showed that 84 percent of state residents favor it.

Democratic state Assemblymen Mims Hackett Jr. and Alfred E. Steele were among those arrested, along with Passaic Mayor Samuel Rivera, a law enforcement official said.

The chief of staff to Newark's City Council president was also arrested, the official said, along with Passaic Councilmen Jonathan Soto and Marcellus Jackson and five Pleasantville school board members.

The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity so as not to upstage a formal announcement, said the arrests were related to insurance contracts for local governments.

The arrests were first reported Thursday by WNBC-TV in New York.

Initial court appearances were scheduled in federal court Thursday afternoon in Trenton.

The U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Christopher J. Christie, and FBI Special Agent in Charge Weysan Dun have scheduled a 3:30 p.m. news conference at the courthouse.

The arrests are the latest in an anti-corruption campaign waged by Christie's office, and mark the second major corruption roundup this year.

Barack Obama. Although I have no intentions of voting for the man, I did have some inkling of respect for him going up against The Rodham (Czarina) and for his “projected candor”. We all know that the politicians no longer represent “We The People”. The status quo in DC is unacceptable.

On the same day that Barack Obama outlined his plan for tougher restrictions on lobbyists, the campaign manager to a rival Democratic presidential candidate questioned his commitment to practicing a new kind of politics.

His yapping to the Vocal Minority left fringe moonbats is laughable. It stems from the misconception that a “few radicals has hijacked a peaceful religion”. That statement right there and anyone agreeing with it, is not worthy to clean toilets at a zoo, let alone be POTUS.

Case in point. The below video, albeit the speaker has good intentions and the “sound good” sound bytes appear to be sincere, places on public display the ignorance of the inexperienced. When will politicians listen to those that know?

There are other videos in my VOD:POD listed under “favorites” of Barack. I haven’t “caught” him in any lies yet but I am sure they will follow. Of the three DNC front-runners, he appears to be the most honest. We all know that Hillary is a flat-out liar and criminal. Edwards has stated that he isn’t quite sure what a rich person is.

Naturally, no one being offered up by the DNC has a snowball’s chance in hell to match tit for tat with the likes of Fred Thompson.

Until We The People get someone that will adhere to the tenets of Reagan Conservatism, tis country will continue to suffer.

“But somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together and faith started being used to drive us apart. Faith got hijacked, partly because of the so-called leaders of the Christian Right, all too eager to exploit what divides us,” the Democratic presidential candidate said in a 30-minute speech before a national meeting of the United Church of Christ.

“At every opportunity, they’ve told evangelical Christians that Democrats disrespect their values and dislike their church, while suggesting to the rest of the country that religious Americans care only about issues like abortion and gay marriage, school prayer and intelligent design,” he said.

Hillary has nothing new to offer because what she has to offer to the American People has already been offered up to them and has been rejected in times past. Such is the case here, albeit quite a few of the misguided and the touchy-feely emotional types have swallowed her drivel lock, stock and lock-step.

SEN. HILLARY CLINTON (D-NY), PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE: It’s time for a new beginning. For an end to government of the few by the few and for the few. Time to reject the idea of an on-your-own society and to replace it with shared responsibility for shared prosperity. I prefer a “we’re all in it together” society.

What she’s clearly saying is enough of individualism. We’re now going to do things collectively. Now, the American people do like the concept of we’re all in this together, but what they don’t want is to give up individual freedoms, individual rights.

I think that this rhetoric, if people pay attention to it carefully, they will see that this goes too far to the left, too close to social democracy rather than freedom. And I think she’ll have a problem with it in the general election.

And there we have it. Hillary and her ilk prefer do have our Federal Republic form of government as envisioned by our Framers replaced with a Socialist Democracy. And that is the path of incrementalism. This a dangerous crossroads for this country and our traditional American way of life.

Want a little insight into the way the Clinton mind works? Watch how Hillary defends her use of private jets paid for by a guy who bilked millions of dollars out of senior citizens:

”Whatever I’ve done, I complied with Senate rules at the time. That’s the way every senator operates,” the Democratic presidential contender said in an interview with The Associated Press during a campaign stop in Las Vegas.

Clinton’s travel, along with and consulting fees paid to her husband, the former president, have come to light recently in a lawsuit against Vinod Gupta, a Clinton contributor and chief executive of the data company, InfoUSA Inc.

The lawsuit by company shareholders accuses Gupta of excessively spending millions of dollars, including $900,000 worth of travel on the Clintons.

Sen. Clinton, who complained about corporate America’s largesse and skyrocketing executive pay during campaign events Wednesday, said she did not believe her message was undermined by her acceptance of the private flights. In line with Senate rules then in effect, Clinton’s campaign has said she reimbursed Gupta at the cost of a first-class flight, typically a significant discount off the expense of a private jet.

Hillary the lawyer (and Bill too) always move the discussion to legal ethics (what was technically legal - often what I can get away with) rather than morality. She doesn’t discuss whether it was morally right to take money from a sleezeball who stole from the elderly or whether it seems hypocritical to sound off about the “haves and the have nots” when she is traveling via private jet at regular airfare rates. Nope, she says “I followed the rules at the time.” And she throws in an “everybody does it” just in case she needs further cover. Sounds like a teeenager making excuses.

Just like Mr. Edwards Hillary has no shame in promoting a steal from the rich and give to the poor populist strategy as long as she gets to keep her money and lifestyle. Nice work if you can get it I guess.
