The No Oil Zone - Recent History and #dontgo Lives On

For quite a while now, at least since 01 AUG 08 anyway, the GOP has been pressuring the fraud Nancy to have an up or down vote on the American Energy Act. But, she has better things to do and went gallivanting around at tax payer's expense attending her book sales events. her book was a flop, by the way, and so is she.

At any rate, no pun intended, fuel costs have sky rocketed and have fallen. I think they call that market fluctuations but I call it an unnecessary CF. For a very long time, the DNC leadership has fought every effort to get the American People free of foreign oil. They have placed restrictions on where and when to drill. They have stopped all efforts to build new refineries. They have stated that oil companies can drill in certain areas but no one knows if there is any oil in those designated areas. More than likely, there isn't any but it looks good when the permissions are given. In the long run, this policy of theirs has come around to bite them where they sit.

Suffice it to say, Pelosi has been had. The #dontgo Movement which was borne the day Nancy pulled her little stunt in DC has beat her and has placed her on notice. The American People are demanding that she cease and desist with her blathering about saving the planet. That isn't in her job description the last time I looked.

Suitably Flip says that oil is basically free now but you will have to go there and see for yourself. I thought that statement was odd until I sat down and read the article. CBS News tried to stem the tide of bleeding Democrats but that didn't work either. It was along the lines that, and I paraphrase, "Hey! Fuel costs are coming down now so why drill?" That dog don't hunt. To add insult to injury, ABC soon follows the next day announcing that the drill ban has been lifted by CONgress. For stupid people, that sounds good. For those of us that have been following this issue since the early 1970's, we see it for what it is. A huge lie.

Hell. Even President Bush knows all about the #dontgo Movement and knows that we will not accept the Gang of 10 crap that grew into the Gang of 16 and eventually the Gang of 20 before it died a painful death. President Bush said that he would veto the damn thing that Nancy passed. Well, he didn't say "the damn thing" but you get the picture. And, no, we won't accept Gas Stamps either.

When nancy called the drilling issue a hoax, I cracked up. Now, President Bush is telling Congress that their "deal" is the hoax. What nancy has done is nothing. Her precious bill is nothing more than more of the same. So much for Change. And, even though the moratoriums for the most part expire at the end of September 2008, her bill would be nearly a mirror image of those moratoriums.

What I don't get is why Nancy is pretending that she doesn't know where natural gas comes from. I could go somewhere with that but I'm not - at this time. Of course she knows. She is in bed with T Boone Pickens in one of the biggest, if not the biggest, land and water grabs that would make the Robber Barons of yore ecstatic! T Boone Pickens has stated many times that we need to do ALL OF THE ABOVE when it comes to energy freedom and the GOP's American Energy Act does just that.

However, Nancy and her idiots are doing their best to make the energy crisis larger, deeper and more costly to the American People. This is simply unacceptable. She is purposefully making it worse to in some way blame President Bush when he vetoes the bill. Be that as it may, we will not allow that to go unpunished.

Redstate has been concerned about Congress listening to 70% of the American People that are demanding lower fuel costs and by God, it looks like they are. Well, at least the GOP is - for the most part - except for the idiot RINOs here and there. And just what in the hell is an energy freeze? Oh. Wait. I know what that is. I have written quite a few articles on that. Nancy doesn't want to drill because she is heavily invested with T Boone Pickens and her husband plopped down a tidy sum. I wonder if there is any conflict of interest going on there. Her bill pretty much bans drilling but promotes renewable fuels which is YEARS away from coming on line. What a fool she is for thinking that we don't know these things.

Yid is calling the bill a phony bill and he is 100% correct on that. Yid also said that Nancy "snookered" us out of our oil...again. Speaking of snookered...I distinctly remember Nancy saying at one time that the oil belongs to the American People. If that is so, why, then, do we not have it yet?

Weekly Standard also sees this as Pelosi Hoax. Texas Fred wants us to do something - like go after - about the Bakken Oil Formation up in the Dakotas and Montana. Hell. I have known about it for almost forever.

We have so much oil under our own soil it is mental instability causing us not to go after it. Yes, we need alternative energy sources but doing nothing doesn't fix the damn problem and Weasel Zippers calls BS. He doesn't like Nancy either.

The most incompetent person in American political history, Harry Reid, has been saying that is it just too hard to get the energy crisis fixed. He says that there are too many ideas floating around and I suppose that just confuses the hell out of him. I sure hope he gets unelected one day.

Atlas calls Nancy's Hoax Bill a stunt. Indeed. She calls it fiddling while Americans burn - a Prius being sold as a Porsche. Jim Harper said that it appears to be quite evident that the cure for the energy crisis is lightning...tongue in cheek. The bill was introduced late at night and passed the next day and is so full of holes that they hope above hope that someone else will have to deal with the energy crisis at a later date. Idiots all.

Apparently, it is so hard to ALLOW the American Energy Act to be voted on, there just be yet another adjournment. This is unbelievable. They are claiming that no one knows what to do.

The Gang of 20 said that they wouldn't offer any energy solutions either because they are tired of talking about it. Well, that is how I read it anyway and the idiocy of the Chief Gomer, Barack, is just too painful to acknowledge. While the Gang of 20 surrenders, the American People suffer due to the inability of our CONgress to give a damn about the people they have sworn to serve. Imagine that. It's just too damn hard to do their jobs because we are watching them. It is so much better for them when we don't know what in the hell they are up to until it is too late. Sorry, pals. Those days are HISTORY. Because of that, the Gang of 20 input is dead in the water for now.

Fausta posts a video of Alfonzo explaining why he is a Conservative which just so happens to tie in nicely to the recent demise of the Old Passe Media and thus giving way to the Main Street Media as explained by Mike Pence.

While reading an article, once again by Fausta, it only solidified the fact that Czarbama is without a doubt the Marxist his mentors would be proud of. The article was about Hugo Chavez and his socialization of Venezuela. Denying the close ties Czarbama and those that "feel" as he does is tantamount to the willful suspension of disbelief.

Coupling that with his vacation to Hawaii and avoiding an appearance, once again, with the Troops with McCain at Fort Hood for a Townhall, perhaps it will expose further his continual contempt for the United States Armed Forces. His apparent fear of an encounter with McCain is laughable and utterly revealing.

Taking a peak at the #dontgo movement web site, I ran across a post in regards to what Alexa Shrugged witnessed on the House Floor as the GOP Rebellion was making historic inroads and historic exposure of the would-be Czarina of the People's House. With the advent of the #dontgo movement, came the surprising demise of the fabled MoveOn group. Their efforts to silence the movement "udderly" and dismally failed.

I also read the letter to Lindsey Graham written by Scott from SC in regards to the Ten Thugs, aka Gang of Ten. I suggest we all read this and utilize it as a template for future letters to our non-representative representatives. The letter contains items such as:

[...] I won't waste your time by telling you that you and the other four Republican Senators in the so called "gang of ten" have been a huge disappointment to us regarding your "leftist" actions in the Senate. [...]

The letter is very well written and I agree with the sentiments wholeheartedly. In conjunction with this letter, I offer this article. It explains the utter ignorance of the Gang of Ten and their incredulous lunacy. We are on the brink of fuel independence and they are trying to slam those doors shut. When you write your letters and make those phine calls, use the data within the report.

Amazingly enough, I have read hundreds of blog posts today. I have confirmed the content of Sonlit Knight's post entitled, Obama meltdown could be historic. It isn't that it "could be" historic, it is in fact historic. And the meltdown isn't that McCain is making a "come back" which, he certainly is albeit ever on an upwards crawl, it is the fact that the emotional gravy train is at its end for Czarbama.

I predicted over 6 months ago that the eerie and uncanny emotional commotion surrounding The One was going to die off and leave his followers, supporters and stretcher bearers spent and out of gas - no pun intended. We witnessed the emotional collapse when it was apparent and factual that the Old Media tried to revive that emotional escapade. The emotion train is at its end. One cannot lift up such an emotional torrent for extended periods of time.

It is at this time that I would like to thank Madam Pelosi for uniting Republicans, Democrats and Independents alike. The vast majority of Americans are fed up with her kind no matter their political party membership.

Gang of Ten: Rinoectomy Required

In a previous post located here entitled, #dontgo v Gang of 10, one of the comments from one of our readers had this to say:

I hate Rinos. I really really really really really really hate Rinos. These are the ones who are responsible for destroying the Republican Party. These are the ones who we think of when we talk about the conservative party being dead. We need to perform a Rinoectomy on the Republican Party immediately.

The post commented on was about the Gang of Ten either inadvertently or purposefully trying to derail the #dontgo movement that has the Leftinistra on the run and on the defensive. The Movement exposed to the American People just who and what the alleged "democrats" stand for. It has also unearthed some RINOs.

I have concluded the following. After the Mother of All Brothel Dwellers, aka Speaker of The House, Pelosi pulled her little tamper tantrum stunt by turning of the lights, the microphones and the CSPAN cameras so the American People would not find out just what she was up to, the Rightosphere exploded and the word got out anyway. So, seeing that the Old Media decided not to cover the outrage and seeing that the Rightosphere decided that this was our moment to seize - and did - apparently, the RINOs decided that they could not have the attention stolen away from them. Thus, the Gang of Ten.

Notice to the Gang of Ten Idiots - henceforth the GOTI: we don't want a compromise. We want the Leftinistra defeated, run over, trampled down, diluted and buried never to be heard from again. All "bipartisan" means is that the GOP, all in the name of Nice-Nice, bends over and does their best Rover impression. All a "compromise" means is the Democrats get it their way. Their attitudes for the past 3+ decades is this: it is our way or the highway.

It is time that the GOP take the cajones that they sprouted all of a sudden on 01 AUG 08 and build on that and step it up a notch. We have those responsible for the high costs of EVERYTHING over a barrel and now is not the time to compromise! Why compromise when we are winning?

We don't want to hear, as we did from Rep Frank Wolf, that we don't know how it works in DC and that we have to understand the "will of Congress". The "will of the Congress"? Where is that in the United States Constitution? We don't want to hear about "your friends". Your salary is not paid to you for you to make friends in DC. That is not your job to make friends in DC. Your job is to do the will of the American People, right or wrong. Period. End of discussion.

Your job is not to "save the planet". That isn't your MOS. You are not God. The planet has survived on its own without your help and, in case you haven't noticed, every time government gets involved with pretty much everything, that "project" turns to crap. Hint: socialist security, unemployment "insurance", welfare, medicaid, medicare, education "loans", bailing out banks, bailing out investors, bailing out idiots that bought houses they could not afford, and the list goes on ad nauseum.

Your job, ladies and gentlemen is to OBEY the will of the people, the very ones that elected you to perform their bidding regardless of how you feel. And THAT is indeed Constitutional and THAT is what the United States Constitution so stipulates. Get over it.

Remember, we are watching you and you are OUR employees and many of you are hereby fired and we are starting with the Gang of Ten RINOs. Begin packing your bags. A BTR show host broke this story and look where it is now. We are much more "stronger" than you care to realize and we are getting stronger day by day.

Get used to us in your faces.

By the way, your alleged "friends" across the aisle have their strings pulled by these people and I like what Weasel Zippers says about them. You'll have to go over there to read it. When your "friends" supporters send threatening letters to YOUR supporters in order to perform some sort of electoral extortion, is that not indicative of an "unfriendly" act by proxy or association?

When your "friends" supporters say that the American People are stupid and that our Troops are pretty much a bunch of losers, is it these type in which you place your "trust" and want to reach out to and for? Perhaps we should make a new movie just for you: the Five Stooges.

As progress to free America of foreign oil is on the brink of success, you all want to cut the effort off at the knees? To what end? To what purpose? Is it because the Lower House pulled a "smoothy" and stole your thunder? Is it an ego problem? If so, perhaps you are in the wrong line of work. Prepare to vacate the premises because you are fired.

And another thing. Isn't it true that Mike Gravel used to be one of your "friends"? Your "friend" is now espousing illegal stalking maneuvers to obtain favor of some sort. So, if you have friends such as these, do we really need your kind? I think not.

Your "friends" across that aisle you are so proud bending over for also has supporters that are involved in other electoral extortion activities and you feel "comfortable" reaching over across the aisle for, what, again? Pretty strange aren't they, these "friends" of yours? And why are your "friends" so eager to slander, slur and demean Jon Voight? We don't like your choice of friends. Neither does the WSJ.

While we are at it, here is another example of those that support your "friends" to whom they cater and pander to. Aren't they sweet?

A hit piece on Vets for Freedom's Back to Iraq trip came out today posted on both Salon.com and the Huff Po. It's two titles are "Embedded Reporters or Republican activists?" and "Obama-attacking, Pro-McCain group gets free trip to Iraq" the first is a reasonable construct, the second is a horseshit lie. I don't hold the writer, Alex Koppelman, responsible for the titles, but he is surely responsible for the innuendo and slurs contained in the piece. Upon reading it this morning I danced a little jig, because I knew the attack was coming and I couldn't believe how weak it was. But since it will get huge play in the fever swamps I soldiered up and began the rebuttal. I contacted the two sources he quoted, Chris Hanson of U of Maryland and Kelly McBribe of Poynter Institute. I will advise once I have spoken with them. I also contacted Alex himself and he was courteous enough to call me. The problem was, he wanted to talk off the record. I know, I laughed myself, a journo who won't go on the record with a knuckledragger like me. He said he had to consult his editor and they determined a live conversation taped so neither of us could be mis-quoted, was far too dangerous. Instead could I email some questions. Heh. [...]

And nothing is said of the Nanna from Pink City as she gallivants across the country on America's dime in her tax-paid-for Big Bird book tour? Do you know how much that cost the American People? I sure wish I could spend close to $50K on a private airliner. Then again, there could very well be valid reasons for Speakerless Oompa Loompelosi to run away and Yid With Lid has those documented. In short, here is the brief synopsis: She went to buy an air pressure gage for her tires; Personally autographing each copy of her book that comes off the press; Bret Farve. You notice that the closure of Congress coincided with Bret Farve showing up at Packer Training Camp; American Idol Auditions. Simon, Paula and Randy are choosing new contestants; Hey The Olympics Are On; Face Lift. She is secretly having a face lift and needs the recovery time. Sounds good to me. Everything else just doesn't make any sense.

Then again, your "friends" like these idiots, too. Nothing like deciding to allow something by not allowing it and then saying that you achieved something by reaching across the aisle being all giddy that you just screwed yourself and the American People and being all happy about it.

John McCain said this: "Behind all the words, Senator Obama's agenda can be summarized as this: Government's too big, he wants to grow it; taxes are too high, he wants to raise 'em; Congress spends too much, and he proposes more; we need more energy, and he's against producing it; we're finally winning in Iraq, and he wants to forfeit. The bottom line, Senator Obama's words, for all their eloquence and passion, don't mean all that much.”

In contrast, here is what the Senate RINOs say: "We know that there is a problem but we really don't care because we are reaching across the aisle making history while America suffers because of it. Besides, the Lower House rebellion wasn't our idea so, actually, it is dumb. Look at us. We aren't fighting." Yeah. We see that. Like RWN stated today: "Lindsey Graham is why Republicans lose." No doubt.

Why is it that just when we have the Leftinistra over a barrel - no pun intended - we have moron RINO idjits mukking it all up? Why is that?

Enter Lindsey Graham , John Thune, Saxby Chambliss, Bob Corker and Johnny Isakson. Heroes in their own minds, but they have a plan. Go get your antacid before continuing. You're going to need it.

This "Gang of 10" announced a "sweeping" and "bipartisan" energy plan to break Washington's energy "stalemate." What they did was throw every vulnerable Democrat, and Mr. Obama, a life preserver.

That's because the plan is a Democratic giveaway. New production on offshore federal lands is left to state legislatures, and then in only four coastal states. The regulatory hurdles are huge. And the bill bars drilling within 50 miles of the coast -- putting off limits some of the most productive areas. Alaska's oil-rich Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is still a no-go.

The highlight is instead $84 billion in tax credits, subsidies and federal handouts for alternative fuels and renewables. The Gang of 10 intends to pay for all this in part by raising taxes on . . . oil companies! The Sierra Club couldn't have penned it better. And so the Republican Five has potentially given antidrilling Democrats the political cover they need to neutralize energy through November.

This is just unbelievable. It really is truly retarded this Gang of 10. And it is very active.

Politics has its puzzling moments. John McCain and most of the GOP experienced one late last week. That was when five of their own set about dismantling the best issue Republicans have in the upcoming election. [...]
