CAIR vs. Santorum and Gingrich: More Islamic Lies CAIR published a press release objecting to remarks by Rick Santorum in which he asserted that Islam is not the source of the concept of equality. I have selected some representative quotes and will disprove CAIR's lies with citations to the Qur'an, hadith & Shari'ah.

Do Christians and Jews Worship a blood thirsty demon who appoints warlords as prophets and demands great slaughter as their price of admission to Paradise?
8:67. It is
not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a
great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but
Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.

Allah's word declares that men are superior to women, whose testimony is valued as half that men and who inherit half as much as men.
4:32. And wish not for the things in which
Allâh has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, (and likewise) f
or women there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allâh of His Bounty. Surely, Allâh is Ever AllKnower of everything.
2:282. [...] And if there are not two men (available), then a man and
two women, such as you agree

4:11. Allâh commands you as regards your children's (inheritance);

How might Muslims excel us in piety? Allah conceals, Moe reveals, look beneath the surface of the text! Muslims excel us in piety by attacking and enslaving us.
3:110.
You [true believers in Islâmic Monotheism, and real followers of Prophet Muhammad and his Sunnah (legal ways, etc.)]
are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Ma'rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm has ordained) and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islâm has forbidden), and you believe in Allâh. And had the
people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)
believed, it would have been better for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are Al-Fâsiqûn (disobedient to Allâh - and rebellious against Allâh's Command).
Sahih Bukhari Volume 6, Book 60, Number 80:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Verse:--"You (true Muslims) are the
best of peoples ever raised up for mankind." means,
the best of peoples for the people, as you bring them with chains on their necks till they embrace Islam.
All Faiths are Equal
Religious liberty is one of the fundamental ideas of America, but not of Islam. The Qur'an treats Christians and Jews rather harshly, criticizing, cursing and declaring war against them.
1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of
those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of
those who went astray (such as the Christians).
2:159. Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the
people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allâh and cursed by the cursers. 2:160. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
2:161. Verily,
those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they
on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of the angels and of mankind, combined. 9:29.
Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm)
among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians),
until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
Where Allah's writ runs, Christians and Jews are subject to draconian restrictions under Shari'ah. The following quote is from Reliance of the Traveller.
O11.5
Such non-Muslim subjects are obliged to comply with Islamic rules that pertain to the safety and indemnity of life, reputation, and property. In addition, they:
-1- are penalized for committing adultery or theft, though not for drunkenness;
-2- are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
-3- are not greeted with "as-Salamu 'alaykum";
-4- must keep to the side of the street;
-5- may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;
-6- are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
-7- and are forbidden to build new churches.
