This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

Obamination: Continuing Defeat in Iraq

Fox News provided a transcript of  President Obama's remarks, click the link to read  the lies in context.  I will quote and refute the worst of the lies.

"I'd like to talk to you about the end of our combat mission in Iraq, the ongoing security challenges we face, and the need to rebuild our nation here at home."

end of our combat mission in Iraq

We still have troops on the ground in theater, and they will be targeted by suicide bombers and IEDs. The casualties; waste of life and limb have moved into a new phase, they have not ended.

ongoing security challenges

Islamic terrorism, both home grown and international remains a serious threat to our security.  Iraq and Afghanistan remain members in good standing of the set of terrorist sponsoring states.  Iran continues on  the fast track to nuclear ascension, while China rapidly expands its military might.  North Korea continues to threaten renewed conflict.

rebuild our nation here at home

That kind of malignant malarkey has no place in a message about national security.  President Obama is mixing domestic demagoguery with national security demagoguery.  We do not need to rebuild, we need to reverse the government policies & actions that have stifled  economic activity.

"But this milestone should serve as a reminder to all Americans that the future is ours to shape if we move forward with confidence and commitment."

confidence and commitment

Insufficient confidence & commitment is what got us into this mess.  The war is lost precisely because Shrub lacked the confidence & commitment to accurately identify and engage the enemy.  He tried to do an invasion on the cheap, and it proved costly.

"A war to disarm a state became a fight against an insurgency. Terrorism and sectarian warfare threatened to tear Iraq apart."

war to disarm a state

LibTards continue to  ignore the distinction between dynamic and static conditions.  If we disarm a state, it will eventually rearm  if we do not continually occupy and dominate it.  If we destroy a state, and completely eliminate it, it will not return to threaten us again.  LibTards just can't figure that out.

Terrorism and sectarian warfare

Both were entirely predictable and were predicted.  Both could have been at least partially suppressed had we employed sufficient force from the outset.  Shrub, fearing both domestic and international criticism, tried to do it on the cheap and failed miserably.  Enemy assets fell into the hands of those most willing to use them against us because we failed to secure them in a timely manner.

"Because of our troops and civilians -and because of the resilience of the Iraqi people - Iraq has the opportunity to embrace a new destiny, even though many challenges remain."

opportunity to embrace a new destiny

When you can't identify the enemy, you can't win the war.  Islam is the enemy.  The majority of Iraq's population  remains  Muslim. Iraq's new constitution makes Shari'ah the primary source of its law.  Iraq remains in the same rut, only the regime has changed.

"This completes a transition to Iraqi responsibility for their own security."

Iraqi responsibility

That idiocy, a leftover from Shrub, would be comedic if it were not so tragic.  By some legerdemain of arrogance & conceit, Shrub set out to train the enemy to prevent terrorists from using Iraq as a staging ground. He set out to train Shi'ia & Sunni not to slaughter each other.  The Iraqui security forces are thoroughly infiltrated by terrorists.  Obama maintains Shrub's tradition of cognitive dissonance.

"Tonight, I encourage Iraq's leaders to move forward with a sense of urgency to form an inclusive government that is just, representative, and accountable to the Iraqi people."

just, representative,  accountable

And Islamic?  The combination is impossible, and Obama knows it.  Corruption abounds, and there is great division and no will to compromise.

"...the Iraqi people will have a strong partner in the United States. Our combat mission is ending, but our commitment to Iraq's future is not."

strong partner

They are Muslims, idiot. Allah explicitly commands them not to take Kuffar as partners.

"This new approach reflects our long-term partnership with Iraq-one based upon mutual interests, and mutual respect"

mutual interests

We have no mutual interest with Islam. Islam's interest is total world conquest and domination, so that only Allah is worshiped altogether and everywhere; so that Shari'ah is enforced globally. Our interest is in liberty, security, prosperity & peace. There is no intersection, no convergence; nothing shared.

mutual respect

There is no mutual respect and can be none.  Islam is contemptuous of everything un-Islamic. Islam hates our way of life without reservation and seeks to destroy it. It labels us Kuffar: rebells against Allah who must be defeated and gathered together into Hell.

"Ending this war is not only in Iraq's interest- it is in our own. The United States has paid a huge price to put the future of Iraq in the hands of its people. We have sent our young men and women to make enormous sacrifices in Iraq, and spent vast resources abroad at a time of tight budgets at home. We have persevered because of a belief we share with the Iraqi people -a belief that out of the ashes of war, a new beginning could be born in this cradle of civilization. Through this remarkable chapter in the history of the United States and Iraq, we have met our responsibility. Now, it is time to turn the page."

our own interest

Our interest is in victory, not ignominious defeat thinly disguised. We wasted blood and treasure because we were unwilling to name and engage the enemy.

belief we share with the Iraqi people

How can anyone be stupid enough to believe that?  We got rid of Saddam and replaced him with Shi'ites. We gained nothing.

met our responsibility

We failed to secure  Iraq's arsenals and ammunition dumps.  We failed to secure their banks, museums and oil infrastructure.  We failed to eliminate Islam from Iraq because we made no effort at all.

"The greatness of our democracy is grounded in our ability to move beyond our differences, and to learn from our experience as we confront the many challenges ahead. And no challenge is more essential to our security than our fight against Al Qaeda."

learn from our experience

We did not learn from Vietnam. We should have learned to seize and hold territory 24/7. We should have learned to secure borders and eliminate sanctuaries & supply lines.   We did not learn from Tehran. We should have learned to use massive, disproportionate  force  early on.  We did not learn from Somalia either.

fight against Al Qaeda

Our enemy is Islam, not a sub set of Islam.  What part of 8:39 & 9:29 does President Obama not comprehend?  What part of "The caliph (o25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High..." does he not comprehend?

"Americans across the political spectrum supported the use of force against those who attacked us on 9/11. Now, as we approach our 10th year of combat in Afghanistan, there are those who are understandably asking tough questions about our mission there. But we must never lose sight of what's at stake. As we speak, Al Qaeda continues to plot against us, and its leadership remains anchored in the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan. We will disrupt, dismantle, and defeat Al Qaeda, while preventing Afghanistan from again serving as a base for terrorists."

those who attacked us on 9/11

We were attacked by Muslims, motivated by the damnable doctrines of Islam which sanctify & mandate genocidal conquest  & terrorism.  Who has the courage to state the fact that security and peace are functions of eliminating Islam from the world?  Certainly not our President!

disrupt, dismantle, and defeat Al Qaeda

Which availeth naught, because its parent organizations: al Ikhwan al-Muslimeen & Islam remain undaunted.

base for terrorists

So long as the population and government of Afghanistan or any other nation remain Islamic, they will be a base for terrorists.

"Within Afghanistan, I have ordered the deployment of additional troops who-under the command of General David Petraeus -are fighting to break the Taliban's momentum."

break the Taliban's momentum

Idiot!  We need to kill them!  When you go on the offensive, you kill the enemy and destroy their infrastructure.  Breaking their momentum is the wrong objective.

"A new push for peace in the Middle East will begin here tomorrow."

They never learn. You can't push a piece of string.  You must put it around Islam's neck and pull it tight.  If you want peace anywhere  on the globe, eliminate Islam from that place.  Foundational Islamic doctrine requires the elimination of Israel and Jews.  No matter  what demands you make against Israel, she will never obtain peace and security without first eliminating Islam from the region.  Peace can only be obtained through victory, and victory by extinction of Islam.

"America will do more than just defeat on the battlefield those who offer hatred and destruction -we will also lead among those who are willing to work together to expand freedom and opportunity for all people."

defeat on the battlefield

Islam can not be defeated on the battlefield.  It must be destroyed by emancipating Allah's slaves.  We will have victory when they are all emancipated or dead, not before. Until that happy day there will be neither peace nor security.  Islam is perpetual war.   We must stop electing stupid people who can not recognize that fatal fact.

willing to work together

The set of people willing to work together to expand freedom and opportunity and the set of Muslims are mutually exclusive.  There is no intersection of those sets. Islam is slavery, the polar opposite of freedom.  Islam is plunder, the polar opposite of productivity & opportunity.

"And the bedrock of that prosperity must be a growing middle class."

growing middle class

How swiftly and smoothly president Obama segues from defense deception to domestic deception; from military warfare to class warfare. The imprudent spendthrift policies and economic meddling of Obama's party have brought us to our present low state.  Yes, Republicans who lacked the courage to resist aided them in their demolition of our economy.

We need economic expansion, not redistribution! Get your boot off our necks!  Make Shrub's tax cuts permanent. Enact further tax cuts. Save the funds unspent in the imprudent "bail out"  & "stimulus".  Open all domestic oil fields to exploration and production both on and off shore.  And repeal  the potentially disastrous  "health care reform"!

"Part of that responsibility is making sure that we honor our commitments to those who have served our country with such valor. "

honor our commitments to veterans

The Obama administration plans to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for the treatment service related injuries of military personnel

Is that any less than the ultimate arrogant demagoguery?  He blathers about commitments, expecting us to forget how he tried to screw the veterans!  We've got to impeach that creep!!!

"In an age without surrender ceremonies, we must earn victory through the success of our partners and the strength of our own nation."

age without surrender ceremonies

There was a surrender ceremony the year before I was born.  Why should it be the last?

Obamination: Wasting More Blood and Treasure in Afghanistan

In remarks at West Point, President Barack Hussein Obama laid out his plan for the surge in Afghanistan. As is my usual practice, I will present excerpts in block quote format interspersed with my comments.

To address these important issues, it's important to recall why America and our allies were compelled to fight a war in Afghanistan in the first place. We did not ask for this fight. On September 11, 2001, 19 men hijacked four airplanes and used them to murder nearly 3,000 people. They struck at our military and economic nerve centers. They took the lives of innocent men, women, and children without regard to their faith or race or station. Were it not for the heroic actions of passengers onboard one of those flights, they could have also struck at one of the great symbols of our democracy in Washington, and killed many more.
In this paragraph, President Obama begins to set up his pretext, one shared by his predecessor. Any sentient American more than 17 years old must be very sheltered to be unaware of the fact that the abomination was planned by Muslims in Afghanistan. Sure, we needed to retaliate. But the next paragraph contains egregious deceptions which must be refuted in detail.
As we know, these men belonged to al Qaeda -- a group of extremists who have distorted and defiled Islam, one of the world’s great religions, to justify the slaughter of innocents. Al Qaeda’s base of operations was in Afghanistan, where they were harbored by the Taliban -- a ruthless, repressive and radical movement that seized control of that country after it was ravaged by years of Soviet occupation and civil war, and after the attention of America and our friends had turned elsewhere.
Al-Qaeda means "the base", it is equivalent to Ummah al Islamiyya: the set whose members are Muslims. Taliban means "students of the Qur'an". Those are Muslims. There is nothing special about them except the fact that they are believers who obey Allah and emulate Moe. They are normal, not exceptional. They have not "distorted and defiled Islam". Islam remains what it was when Moe died in 632, a damnable war cult, not a religion of peace. There is nothing great about Islam. It conquered half the known world. Is that greatness? In the process, it murdered 270*106, what is great about that? Great slaughter, is desired by Allah, Islam's demon, who established it as a prerequisite for releasing hostages for ransom. That is genocide; if genocide defines greatness, then morality has been inverted.

Islam does not recognize "innocents" outside Ummah al;-Islamiyya. Only Muslims can be innocent, all others are rebels against Allah, who must be defeated and gathered together into Hell. Jihad against disbelievers is not an optional extra added by extremists; it is not bida, it is standard Islamic doctrine laid down in Surah Al-Anfal & Surah At-Taubah. 8:39 contains Allah's command to fight pagans until all resistance ceases and only Allah is worshiped on a global scale. 9:29 contains Allah's command to fight Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians until they are subjugated and extorted. Moe confirmed the command to Jihad, which continues until the last day. Islamic law requires a minimum of one military expedition against kufar in every year, failing only when there is insufficient strength. Doubters & dissenters should open Reliance of the Traveller to O9.0 and continue reading through O9.9. O9.1 is explicit about the communal obligation to attack disbelievers in their own countries in every year. O9.8 & 9.9 reveal what the caliph does as a regular practice, aggressively, not defensively: he makes war upon Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians until they become Muslims or pay extortion, he fights all other people until they become Muslim or dead. How is it possible that a religion has such a law in its canon?
America, our allies and the world were acting as one to destroy al Qaeda’s terrorist network and to protect our common security.
The terrorist network is Islam. It consists of every Mosque, Madrassa & Muslim wheresoever dispersed over the face of the earth. Destroying al-Qaeda is not possible without destroying Islam! No effort is being made to accomplish that necessary objective. Both President G.W. Bush and President Obama deny the fact that Islam is at war against us. Our elected leaders will not acknowledge the fact that Islam is intrinsically inimical to life, liberty & representative government.
Under the banner of this domestic unity and international legitimacy -- and only after the Taliban refused to turn over Osama bin Laden -- we sent our troops into Afghanistan. Within a matter of months, al Qaeda was scattered and many of its operatives were killed. The Taliban was driven from power and pushed back on its heels. A place that had known decades of fear now had reason to hope. At a conference convened by the U.N., a provisional government was established under President Hamid Karzai. And an International Security Assistance Force was established to help bring a lasting peace to a war-torn country.
You can not scatter what is dispersed globally: Islam. President Bush lacked the courage to attack Tora Bora with sufficient force to eliminate bin Laden. Even eliminating him would not end the Jihad.

Neither were Taliban driven from power. Taliban are only Muslims who study the Qur'an. Afghanistan's new constitution makes the Qur'an the source of its law. Umdat as-Salik O9.8, which requires warfare against us, is part of Afghanistan's law. This nation and the world are being misled by morons and traitors. It is not possible to bring peace to a nation whose culture is war. The only peace Afghanistan can have is the peace of the grave, when the graveyard is full and the surface is empty.
Today, after extraordinary costs, we are bringing the Iraq war to a responsible end. We will remove our combat brigades from Iraq by the end of next summer, and all of our troops by the end of 2011. That we are doing so is a testament to the character of the men and women in uniform.
There is no responsible end to the war in Iraq while it remains populated by Muslims, our sworn enemies. When our troops leave, Iraq will revert to war between Shiia & Sunni, when that warfare ends, it will resume status quo ante as a sponsor of terrorism. No other outcome is possible while its population remains Islamic. The pull out on a set timetable is a testimony to the stupidity and treachery of our elected leaders.
But while we've achieved hard-earned milestones in Iraq, the situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated. After escaping across the border into Pakistan in 2001 and 2002, al Qaeda’s leadership established a safe haven there. Although a legitimate government was elected by the Afghan people, it's been hampered by corruption, the drug trade, an under-developed economy, and insufficient security forces.
No legitimate government can be composed of Muslims! Islam requires theocracy, one man rule by the Qur'an, not man made legislation. While Afghanistan remains Islamic and tribal, it will be corrupt and violent, neither well governed, peaceful nor stable. The problems listed by President Obama are not members of the set of soluble problems. Even if they could be solved, Afghanistan would revert to status quo ante: a state sponsor of terrorism.
I set a goal that was narrowly defined as disrupting, dismantling, and defeating al Qaeda and its extremist allies, and pledged to better coordinate our military and civilian efforts.
The "extremist allies" are every Muslim on the face of the earth. Will you kill them all? Will you convert them to a peaceful religion? No, you will do neither, and the terrorism will continue because you are a cowardly fool.
And our forces lack the full support they need to effectively train and partner with Afghan security forces and better secure the population.
"Afghan security forces" is an oxymoron. Those forces are composed of Muslims. Muslims are warriors, not security forces. To Muslims, peace is the condition of the world after they have completed their conquest of it. No matter how much you train them, they will shoot you in the back when given the opportunity, and they will betray your plans to the mujihideen.
I owe you a mission that is clearly defined, and worthy of your service. And that's why, after the Afghan voting was completed, I insisted on a thorough review of our strategy.
Any strategy that leaves live Muslims in Afghanistan and Iraq is a total waste of blood and treasure, a fool's errand of the worst sort. No good outcome is possible.
After 18 months, our troops will begin to come home. These are the resources that we need to seize the initiative, while building the Afghan capacity that can allow for a responsible transition of our forces out of Afghanistan.

When will our forces leave Bosnia? When will our forces leave Germany? When will our forces leave Japan? You have presented our enemy with a time line telling them how long they must wait before they can seize power and restore the status quo ante. I call it treason.
I do not make this decision lightly. I opposed the war in Iraq precisely because I believe that we must exercise restraint in the use of military force, and always consider the long-term consequences of our actions.
How do you win a war with restraint? How do you win a war without identifying and killing the enemy? What are the long term consequences of allowing Islam to continue to exist on the face of the earth, accruing nuclear, chemical and biological weapons which it will not long hesitate to use? What were the consequences of ignoring Hitler's military buildup, substituting appeasement for preemption?
Most of all, I know that this decision asks even more of you -- a military that, along with your families, has already borne the heaviest of all burdens.
You are asking them to die for a lie. You are sending them to defeat, wasting their blood and the taxpayer's treasure.
If I did not think that the security of the United States and the safety of the American people were at stake in Afghanistan, I would gladly order every single one of our troops home tomorrow.
Our security is at stake wherever Islam exists; wherever Zakat is collected and sent to Hamas, Hizbollah & al-Qaeda; wherever Muslim satrapies are stockpiling missiles and rushing to construct nuclear warheads.
So, no, I do not make this decision lightly. I make this decision because I am convinced that our security is at stake in Afghanistan and Pakistan. This is the epicenter of violent extremism practiced by al Qaeda. It is from here that we were attacked on 9/11, and it is from here that new attacks are being plotted as I speak. This is no idle danger; no hypothetical threat. In the last few months alone, we have apprehended extremists within our borders who were sent here from the border region of Afghanistan and Pakistan to commit new acts of terror. And this danger will only grow if the region slides backwards, and al Qaeda can operate with impunity. We must keep the pressure on al Qaeda, and to do that, we must increase the stability and capacity of our partners in the region.
Strike al-Qaeda, insert Islam. The danger will grow no matter what, unless you eliminate Islam from the region. Then, the danger will come from another region where Allah's writ runs and his slaves reside.

No Muslim is our partner! Muslims who claim to be our partners are practicing al-taqeyya and kitman; they are deceiving you. Allah explicitly forbids Muslims to be friends or partners of kuffar. Muslims must be in a dominant, not equal or subordinate relationship with kuffar.
To meet that goal, we will pursue the following objectives within Afghanistan. We must deny al Qaeda a safe haven. We must reverse the Taliban's momentum and deny it the ability to overthrow the government. And we must strengthen the capacity of Afghanistan's security forces and government so that they can take lead responsibility for Afghanistan's future.
Islam has bases in Iran, Syria & Lebanon. There are Islamic bases and training camps right here in America. What will you do about them? You say "al-Qaeda" when the correct word is Islam. Why can't you name the enemy? How do you hope to defeat an enemy you can not identify? Weak or strong, Afghanistan's government, like that of Pakistan, is in the hands of Muslims, our enemies. In the end, they will attack us and our allies. There is no benefit in strengthening them.
We will meet these objectives in three ways. First, we will pursue a military strategy that will break the Taliban's momentum and increase Afghanistan's capacity over the next 18 months.
To win, you must seize and hold territory 24/7/365. You must kill enemy combatants. No more catch and release. You must deny sanctuary, both in Pakistan and Afghanistan. You must deny human shields. Your rules of engagement are costing our soldiers their lives. The word is treason. Like Lindon Johnson, you are murdering our service members for political gain. More troops is not a strategy, it is feeding the meat grinder, filling coffins.
They'll increase our ability to train competent Afghan security forces, and to partner with them so that more Afghans can get into the fight. And they will help create the conditions for the United States to transfer responsibility to the Afghans.
Afghans are the enemy, idiot. They are not our allies nor partners, they are Muslims. You are training them to fight against us, just like Arafat's "security forces".
We will support efforts by the Afghan government to open the door to those Taliban who abandon violence and respect the human rights of their fellow citizens.
.Stupid statements like that make my blood boil! Muslims do not abandon violence without abandoning Islam! Muslims do not respect human rights! They never did and never will!! Allah does not, Moe did not and they will not. Being a Muslim, President Obama knows that. There is only one possibility: treason.
We're in Afghanistan to prevent a cancer from once again spreading through that country. But this same cancer has also taken root in the border region of Pakistan. That's why we need a strategy that works on both sides of the border.
Strike cancer, insert Islam. Otherwise the statement must remain false. No strategy can work unless it causes Islam to be eliminated from Afghanistan and Pakistan. Any outcome that leaves them Islamic is a defeat.
And there is no doubt that the United States and Pakistan share a common enemy.
Islam is the enemy of all mankind. Pakistan is our enemy. Is Obama too stupid to comprehend objective factual reality or a traitor. I don't believe its stupidity.
Moving forward, we are committed to a partnership with Pakistan that is built on a foundation of mutual interest, mutual respect, and mutual trust. We will strengthen Pakistan’s capacity to target those groups that threaten our countries, and have made it clear that we cannot tolerate a safe haven for terrorists whose location is known and whose intentions are clear.
Imbecility, maundery & treachery; what a combination! We have no mutual interest with Muslims. They do not respect us. We can not trust them. They support those groups, they do not combat them. Pakistan was, is now and will continue to be a safe haven for terrorists. Muslim and terrorist are synonymous terms.
To abandon this area now -- and to rely only on efforts against al Qaeda from a distance -- would significantly hamper our ability to keep the pressure on al Qaeda, and create an unacceptable risk of additional attacks on our homeland and our allies.
A single drop of truth in a river of lies. It stands out like a carp swimming upstream in a sewer.
Second, there are those who acknowledge that we can't leave Afghanistan in its current state, but suggest that we go forward with the troops that we already have. But this would simply maintain a status quo in which we muddle through, and permit a slow deterioration of conditions there. It would ultimately prove more costly and prolong our stay in Afghanistan, because we would never be able to generate the conditions needed to train Afghan security forces and give them the space to take over.
The same is true of Obama's strategy.
Now, let me be clear: None of this will be easy. The struggle against violent extremism will not be finished quickly, and it extends well beyond Afghanistan and Pakistan. It will be an enduring test of our free society, and our leadership in the world. And unlike the great power conflicts and clear lines of division that defined the 20th century, our effort will involve disorderly regions, failed states, diffuse enemies.
Shrub failed the test. Obamination is failing the test. We need leaders who can measure up, men like Churchill, McArthur & Truman.
We will have to take away the tools of mass destruction. And that's why I've made it a central pillar of my foreign policy to secure loose nuclear materials from terrorists, to stop the spread of nuclear weapons, and to pursue the goal of a world without them -- because every nation must understand that true security will never come from an endless race for ever more destructive weapons; true security will come for those who reject them.
Nukes are in the world. There is no possibility of ensuring that our enemies have eliminated their inventories and won't make more. The dream of a nuke free world is impossible. Continuing to harbor it is evidence of insanity, or is it treason?

Like Shrub, Obamination refuses to identify and accurately describe the enemy. He falsely ascribes to the enemy objectives that it does not have. He falsely characterizes our relationship with certain enemy powers as an alliance or partnership. He postulates a non-existent dichotomy between the enemy, which he calls a partner, and a subset of the enemy, which he mislabels as the enemy. Obamination's strategy is a house of cards founded on a lie. It can not stand in the storm of reality.

Obamination: Ramadan Treason

President Obama's Ramadan message includes the usual boiler plate treason. I have selected some exemplary dissembling for refutation.

  • "These rituals remind us of the principles that we hold in common"
The implication is both overly broad and false. Islam does not share any principles with Western Civilization. Next time, list them and submit proof that Muslims share them. I won't hold my breath while I wait for that list and evidence.
  • lslam's role in advancing justice, progress,. tolerance, and the dignity of all human beings
Nothing could be further from the truth. Reliance of the Traveller, Book O, Chapter 9, Paragraphs 8 &9 charge the Caliph with the duty of attacking Jews, Christians, Zoroastrians & Pagans at least once in every year. Those laws are based on Surahs At-Taubah & Al-Anfal of the Qur'an. Exactly how does that advance justice, tolerance & dignity?

Chapter 11, Paragraph 5, says of dhimmis:
  • 2- are distinguished from Muslims in dress, wearing a wide cloth belt (zunnar);
  • 3- are not greeted with "as-Salamu 'alaykum";

  • -4- must keep to the side of the street;

  • -5- may not build higher than or as high as the Muslims' buildings, though if they acquire a tall house, it is not razed;

  • -6- are forbidden to openly display wine or pork, (A: to ring church bells or display crosses,) recite the Torah or Evangel aloud, or make public display of their funerals and feastdays;
  • -7- and are forbidden to build new churches.

Exactly how do those laws advance justice, tolerance & dignity?

  • "For instance, fasting is a concept shared by many faiths - including my own Christian faith - as a
way to bring; people closer to God, and to those among us who cannot take their next meal for
granted. And the support that Muslims provide to others
    recalls our responsibility to advance
opportunity and prosperity for people everywhere. For all of us must remember that the world we
want to build - and the changes that we Want to make - must begin in our own hearts, and our
    own communities."
Note the clause which I emphasized: Islamic law forbids giving Zakat to Kufar. Refer to Reliance of the Traveller H8.24.
  • It is not permissible to give zakat to a non-Muslim, or to someone whom one is obliged to support (def: m12.1), such as a wife or family member.
President Obama conflates charity & universal benevolence with Socialism and at the same time, mixing domestic policy with foreign.
  • "Beyond America' borders. we are also committed to keeping our responsibility to build a world
that is more peaceful and secure. That is why we are responsibly ending the war in Iraq."
The invasion of Iraq could only increase peace & security by rendering Iraq unIslamic. Iraq & Afghanistan will be threats to peace & security so long as their people and governments are Islamic. By leaving Iraq with Islam still in place, we decrease peace and security below the level pertaining before the invasion.
  • 'That is why we are isolating violent extremists while empowering the people in places like Afghanistan
    and Pakistan."
"Violent extremists" is a shibboleth designed to draw our attention away from the fatal fact of intrinsic violence in Islam.. Islamic Jihad, terrorism & genocide result from intrinsic scriptural doctrines & traditional example, not from 'extremists'. The difference between 'extremists' and 'the people' is zeal. Violence is a function of intensity of belief & zealotry. We can't isolate them because we can't identify them. Besides, zealotry can increase spontaneously or as a result of aggressive sermons at the local Mosque.
  • "That is why we are unyielding in our support for a two-state solution that
recognizes the rights of Israelis and Palestinians to live in peace and security."
Israelis are Palestinians. Palestinians are Jews . The so called Palestinians President Obama refers to are undifferentiated Arabs seeking to reconquer Israel demographically and militarily. State or no state, so long as there are Muslims within rocket range of Israel, Israel will not obtain peace or security no matter what she does. Israel's existence is an offense to Muslims because her land was conquered by Caliph Umar in 638. Allah promised Muslims victory and dominance over the region. By reclaiming her land, Israel proves Allah to be an impotent idol. Muslims can't tolerate that! Muslims will continue to attack Israel until they are successfully in reconquest or Israel ushers them into hell. There is nothing we can do about it.
  • " And that is why America will always stand for the universal rights of all people to speak their mind, practice their
    religion
, contribute fully to society and have confidence in the rule of law."
I emphasized the problematic phrase in that sentence. Islam requires Jihad, genocide & terrorism. It is not possible to fully practice Islam without engaging in them until their world conquest is completed. If they have a right to practice Islam, then we have no right to live; no human dignity.
  • All of these efforts are a part of America' commitment to engage Muslims and Muslim-majority
nations on the basis of mutual interest and mutual respect.
Idiocy & treason are in the emphasized phrase. Islam has no respect for Kufar. To Muslims, we are rebels against Allah, and they are duty bound to defeat us and gather us together into Hell, the worst of living creatures. We have no mutual interest with Muslims! Their interest is world conquest, ours is peace, security and prosperity. We have nothing in common.
  • "And at this time of renewal, I want to reiterate my commitment to a new beginning between America and Muslims around the world,"
How about a new beginning between lambs and lions? When will lions quit eating lambs? That is when Islam will quit Jihad. Two classes of people say otherwise: damned fools and traitors. Islam is a predatory institution; we need to call it what it is. We need to call those who deny that fatal fact what they are. Intellectual honesty and moral clarity require us to do that.
  • From around the world, we have received an outpouring of feedback about how America can be a partner on behalf of peoples' aspirations.
Islam is about enrichment and empowerment through the profession of piracy. Islam seeks total world domination by conquest. That is their only aspiration. Any occidental who seeks to facilitate Islamic world conquest is a traitor! Why Jihad? Because that is how Moe derived his income! Read 8:1, 8:41 & 8:67 and get a clue. The fatal fact of mercenary motivation is confirmed by hadith: When Allah made the Prophet wealthy through conquests, while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand .

A War News Update

~Snooper~

As we all know, the Leftinistra have been trying to lose this war we have been fighting ever since it became politically expedient to do so. It didn't or, still doesn't matter to them how many are KIA, WIA or MIA on either side or where in the war it takes place. As long as they get to wrestle into Higher Authority positions, nothing else matters. Nothing. And I repeat...as long as they get to wrestle into Higher Authority positions, nothing else matters. Nothing.

Barack Obama has stated that he will bomb - at that time - an ally of ours, a nuclear armed ally of ours, Pakistan. He then denied it. And when he was reminded of it, he called it a personal attack. That's what one of many things is wrong with the Democrat leaders...they cannot accept personal responsibility and Obama isn't the only one. Many before him have taught him well.

In a previous post, I mentioned that Jihad Watch reported that the Taliban were going to step up attacks and a lot of those attacks are going to be carried out by their women folk. In one way, that is a good thing...the breeding factories of the "other" culture of death will no longer be spitting out little rug rat rug monkeys. Oh. Wait. They don't have rugs...they have mats. Whatever.

In the beginning days of the War, we watched, as I have said countless times, the terrorists flee Afghanistan. They fled to Pakistan, Tajikistan, Iran and Iraq with the bulk heading to Iraq because they never thought for a micro-second that the USA would re-enter Iraq. They thought we didn't have what it took. The last laugh is ours. The terrorists have been thoroughly whooped in Iraq. First, Al Anbar Province with Ramadi as Caliphate HQ was going to be the capital of the New Caliphate. That didn't work out so well. Next, the New Caliphate was going to be in Diyala Province with its base in Baquba. We all know how that all worked out much to the chagrin of our very own Leftinistra back here at home.

Then came the mopping up features which still amounted to heavy fighting which my son was involved in. The Sadrites were the last hold outs and they have since disbanded all together or have shrunk to an embarrassing number of hit and run cowards and Jihadi (Haji) scum. Remember Basra? Remember how the British did not engage in Basra until AFTER the fighting was nearly complete? I remember that. As American and Coalition Forces began the mop up stages in Iraq with the majority of the hold-outs up in Mosul and surrounding areas, the once mighty and self-vaunted hard-liner AQI are a mere shadow of their former selves. What remains have fled back into Afghanistan and Pakistan. As we watched them flee from Afghanistan trying to convince the world that "they have us where they want us", the shoe is now squarely on the other foot. They have fled Iraq for Afghanistan - right where we want them; out of Iraq. (photo courtesy DBKP)

If one doubts the successes in Iraq and why there is more fighting in Afghanistan, all one has to do is pay attention. From the NYT:
American military successes in Iraq have prompted growing numbers of well-trained “foreign fighters” to join the insurgency in Afghanistan instead, the Afghan defense minister said on Tuesday.

The minister, Gen. Abdul Rahim Wardak, told a news conference that the increased flow of insurgents from outside Afghanistan had contributed to the increased intensity of the fighting here this year, which he described as the “worst” since the toppling of the Taliban government by American-led forces in 2001. American commanders have said that overall violence here has increased by 30 per cent in the past year and have called for more troops.

The general said that “the success of coalition forces in Iraq” had combined with developments in countries neighboring Afghanistan to cause “a major increase in the number of foreign fighters” coming to Afghanistan. In addition, he said: “There is no doubt that they are better equipped than before. They are well trained, more sophisticated, and their coordination is much better.”

His reference to neighboring countries appeared to point to Pakistan, where Islamic militants with bases in tribal areas along the border have intensified their operations, both inside Pakistan and in support of the insurgency in Afghanistan. American commanders have said that most of the foreign fighters operating in Afghanistan are Pakistanis, Arabs, or from Muslim countries and communities in Central Asia and the Caucasus, including Chechens. But the great majority of the insurgents here are Afghans..

Please recall if you will as previously mentioned on this blog and a host of others that Barack had said that he would be meeting with no preconditions with our enemies. He tried to wiggle out of that and called upon Henry Kissingers' name in vain and was quickly mocked and humiliated first by John McCain and then Henry Kissinger. Now we have the Little Man from Iran saying that he will meet with the next American President WITH preconditions. JPA Live thinks that is quite comical and he has a special video supporting his chuckle-chuckle snort-snort. Others commenting on this issue are; Spree, wondering if Obama will meet the demands to dump Israel as one of those precondition; Wizbang, noting that Iran knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that Obama is just as weak or even weaker that Jimmy Carter; (photo courtesy Anti-Mullah)

I mentioned the British before for a reason. Behold:
BRITISH troops are no longer needed for the security of Iraq and should go home, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has told a British newspaper.

"We thank them for the role they have played, but I think that their stay is not necessary for maintaining security and control," Mr Maliki told the Times.

"There might be a need for their experience in training and some technological issues, but as a fighting force, I don't think that is necessary."

Mr Maliki criticised the decision by Britain earlier this year to move its troops from a palace in Basra, which came under British responsibility after the 2003 US-led invasion, to their base at the airport.

"At the time Basra was not under control of the local government, but in the hands of the gangs and militias.... (British forces) stayed away from the confrontation, which gave the gangs and the militias the chance to control the city," he said.

"The situation deteriorated so badly that corrupted youths were carrying swords and cutting the throats of women and children. The citizens of Basra called out for our help... and we moved to regain the city."

Asked by the newspaper whether he thought Britain's move had been premature, he said: "Very."

The Prime Minister also criticised Britain's deal with Moqtada al-Sadr's Mahdi Army, Iraq's largest Shi'ite militia, to stop mortar and rocket attacks.

"Of course we were not comfortable and we conveyed our discomfort and regarded it as the beginning of a disaster," he said. [...]
That is quite an indictment towards the British forces and stems from British action or inaction in Basra. More on this later because the same British crap is being practiced in Afghanistan.

While we are at it, let's share some additional Good News that makes the skin of the Leftinistra crawl. Iraqi forces have moved into Mosul area to protect and/or save Iraqi Christians. Imagine that? The Christians there are entirely more brave than the wimpified Christians of the West. I wonder how many would be willing to die for their Faith as these Iraqi Christians are willing to do.

In other War News Updates, Jihad Watch brings us news that is troubling. It seems that AQ is trying to control traffic in the Red Sea. They are part of the "Water Jihad" and this is just crazy:
More indication that the Somali pirate raids are part of the jihad. Increased popularity for the water jihad may have to do with the fact that, according to most jurists, the jihadist who dies fighting at sea receives double the "reward" of the one who dies on land. [...]
So, now their hazard duty pay is 144 virgins. I hope they have some ExtenZe.

COB6 at Blackfive is asking if the recent mystery death ship of Iranian origin recently released by the terrorist pirates that they hijacked some weeks ago was actually enroute to Israel with a dirty bomb.
Remember that Iranian ship that the Somali pirates seized? Yeah the same one where the pirates suddenly started experiencing blisters, hair loss and even death.

I speculated earlier that the reported symptoms were dangerously close to what one would expect from severe radiation poisoning. Apparently others are thinking the same thing:
Russian sources are making that very assertion and like Blackfive states, if this is true, it an act of war and a nuclear one at that. I also wrote of this a few days ago. Continuing on with BF:
[...] The article implies that the cargo was rigged with massive explosives. If true, that is an act of war. Whether intended for Israel is irrelevant. It was intended for someone and that is an act of war.

Currently, the Americans, French and Russians are watching this ship and trying to figure out what to do.

Here's an idea. Tow it back to Iran under guard of a massive armada of warships. Dock it in Bandar Abbas (where all of Iran's refining capabilities are). Then inform "I'm a dinner jacket" that he has three days to unload the cargo. Failure to do so wwill result in a massive bombardment of the ship (on a particularly windy day).

That ought to kick the any hill a bit! [END]
Aye, Cap'n! Aye! The last piece is brought to us by the never ending and ever vigilant Herschel Smith writing about how we cannot negotiate with the Taliban. Many times on this blog, others I contribute to and on my BTR channel, I have stated countless times that terrorists cannot be negotiated with. Why? Because they don't want to. They consider it a sign of weakness and will push and push until their agenda is fulfilled, no matter how long it takes and no matter how many have to die in order to make it so.
[...] The Taliban are persuaded to fight for other reasons, there is insufficient force projection in Afghanistan, and Rosie is right. Calls for negotiations are not new, and in fact, negotiations themselves are not new, if you count negotiations as effeminate pleading by Hamid Karzai. Just as there have been “talks” with the Iranians for 25 years (contrary to the claims of the surrender-ists), there have been pleas by Hamid Karzai and his ilk for several years for the Taliban to end the violence. They have declined and will continue to do so. [END]
And that wraps up one more War News Update. In the Herschel Smith piece, he mentions a British Commander that did a pretty good impersonation of Harry Reid. You will have to read it to understand and it is why that Commander isn't in charge in Afghanistan and someone that knows what the deal is, is.

Iraq War News The Leftinistra Cannot Accept

~Snooper~

Not only can the Leftinistra not accept the news I am about to bring to light, they are repelled by it because it is Truth.

The Iraqi PM said yesterday the following: Iraqi MP: "Let Iran and Those Foolish Arab Countries Listen Carefully. Iraq Will be an Ally of the West".... That has just GOT to get the goat, no pun intended naturally, of the Leftinistra that tried all so hard in all of 2006, 2007 and 2008 to lose the war and make our enemies - their friends - happy...especially Czarbama now that it has been shown that he himself has had some shady dealings with the enemy. And where does his allegiance fall and to whom? With nearly half of adult Americans now believe that the Troops Surge was a good idea after all, I am sure that number will rise exponentially in the future.

With the Washington Compost FINALLY saying what I have been saying for nearly three years now, I wonder if the BDS ills are being cured by accepting Truth. The fact of the matter is this - Al Qaeda is done in Iraq and have moved to Afghanistan and Pakistan through Iran. We have known this for a very long time. This really is not new news but, to the WaPo it seems like a surprise.

As with the typical Leftinistra, the ACLU founded by a known hard-core communist and a sworn enemy of the United States, the ACLU continues to aid and abet our enemies. That is still called treason folks. See democrats and terrorists collection here.

The organization of which I am a proud member, Vets For Freedom, is heading back to Iraq to report on the news that the Lame Stream Media and the wimp Czarbama cannot. They cannot report the Truth of Iraq because it would expose just how wrong they have been all along and still are. They can play their silly games with Troops' lives for political gain and rack up the body counts for their ghoulish reasons. One of these days they will be held accountable for the lives they themselves have destroyed.

Henry Kissinger writes: (in part)
[...] In this manner, prospects for reconciliation among the three parts of the country, Kurdish, Shiite and Sunni, have appeared not through legislation, as congressional resolutions applying the American experience imagined, but by necessity and a measure of military and political equilibrium. Since the need for American forces in dealing with a massive insurrection has diminished, they can increasingly concentrate on helping the Iraqi government resist pressures from neighbors and the occasional flare-up of terrorist attacks from al-Qaeda or Iranian-backed militias. In that environment, the various national and provincial elections foreseen for the next months in Iraq's constitution can help shape new Iraqi institutions. [...]
Put that in your wadded panties, Czarbama. The rest of the article is better than the above snippet. Naturally, the Troop Surge in Iraq didn't work. That is why casualties of American Forces in Iraq are at an all time low...and, by the way, the Troop Surge Troops are either home or on there way. Just ask me. My son is home now and he was part of the Surge. Kiss my ass Czarbama. For a more detailed report plus a special video, go to Gateway Pundit.

Victor Davis Hanson writes: (in part - the rest is phenomenal)
[...] The 2007 surge, the Anbar Awakening of tribal sheiks against al-Qaeda, the change to counterinsurgency tactics, the vast increase in the size and competence of the Iraqi Security Forces, the sheer number of enemy jihadists killed between 2003 and 2008, the unexpected political savvy of Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, and the magnetic leadership of Gen. David Petraeus have all contributed to a radically improved Iraq.

Pundits and politicians - especially presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama - are readjusting their positions to reflect the new undeniable realities on the ground in Iraq.

The additional five combat brigades that surged into Iraq in 2007 are already redeployed out of the country. American soldiers are incrementally turning province after province over to the Iraqi Security Forces, and planning careful but steady withdrawals for 2009. [...]
Bite me Czarbama, Pelosi, Murtha, Reid and HillBill. George Tenet - perhaps one day we will meet and have coffee...again? What do you say? Moron.

As was the original intent of the Troop Surge, the Surge Troops are now NOT there and further Troop cuts are in the working stages...AS ADVERTISED and implemented that the Leftinistra also APPROVED of. Makes me ill to think just how many Troops were KIA and wounded because of the political footballs being played with by the DEMOCRATS.

I know I have written of this many times but, Right Truth has the straight skinny about the WMDs that Saddam's Iraq didn't have that were shipped to Syria that Israel destroyed not too long ago.

Stay tuned...more to follow...that is all. Carry on.

Should There Be Any Doubt...

...perhaps this will shed some light on the subject.

Soon we will see a huge power vacuum in the region. Of course, we are prepared to fill the gap.... -- Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran's diminutive president, on Iraq's future
Any questions? Yes/ No?

"The political power of the occupiers is collapsing rapidly," Ahmadinejad said at a press conference in Tehran, referring to U.S. troops in Iraq. "Soon, we will see a huge power vacuum in the region. Of course, we are prepared to fill the gap, with the help of neighbors and regional friends like Saudi Arabia, and with the help of the Iraqi nation."

Is it any wonder why the enemies of the United States just adore our Democrat Leaders?

Need more?
The Machiavellian read would be that he doesn’t want the U.S. to leave, at least not until he can bleed us some more, and this is his way of trying to buy Bush more time. Hard to believe that Iran digs having 160,000 American troops across the border, though, however easier it makes them to target. Maybe it’s just smoke he’s blowing back towards the west after Sarkozy’s saber-rattling yesterday and the U.S. going after the Revolutionary Guard last week? I’m at a loss. Theories are welcome.

More? To those people with their heads in the sand or so far up another's hinder parts they have been deprived of oxygen, let us spell it out for you. The United States has accomplished in Afghanistan and Iraq and soon Iran what countless others have tried to do and failed...bring a taste of FREEDOM to the area. All others tried the Oppression thing and failed. Iran wants Iraq and it wants Saudi Arabia. The ONLY reason Saudi Arabia are our "friends" is they fear an Iranian Conquest more than they "don't like" us.

Persia has always wanted the entire Middle East. That is why Persia changed its name to Iran...in the tongue of Persia, Iran translates to the Land of the Aryan.

Ring any bells?

A friend states:
In the past couple of months we have seen some major progress in Iraq, thanks to the new leadership of General Petraeus and his counter insurgency strategies, news that has been reluctantly reported on by the MSM and as more gets out there to the American people the support for the war which had been on a steady decline for the past 3 years has suddenly started to rise, slowly but surely in poll after poll. It still is not at the levels we would like to see but given that this is a two month trend turning around from a three year declining trend, the numbers are actually not bad and getting better with each and every poll.

How blind can our politicos be and the trolls they cater and pander to?
U.S. has accused Iran of being behind attacks on U.S. troops in Iraq — a claim the Iraqi government has only partially backed, saying Iran could have a role in the attacks. Iran has denied the accusations.

Iran can deny the facts all they want to and emulate our own Democratic Party leaders and spin this any way they want to but the facts remain. There are Iranian made weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan and the US is holding Iranian "operatives" captured in Iraq.

Jihad Watch says: Thug-In-Chief licks his chops

It is indeed a sad state of affairs when politics trumps National Security at the expense of our military.

Some buzzings over here

Michael Totten says:
MUSHADAH, IRAQ – “Al Qaeda terrifies locals,” said Major Mike Garcia from Canyon, Texas, before he put me in a convoy of Humvees with 18 American Military Police on their way to the small town of Mushadah just north of Baghdad. “The only people Iraqis may be more afraid of is their mothers. When we arrest or detain people and threaten to call up their mom, they completely freak out. Please, no, don’t tell my mother they say. Women are quiet outside the house, but they severely smack down their bad kids inside the house. When your Iraqi mother tells you to knock something off, you knock it off.”

This is your brain on Liberalism

This is your brain on Patriotism

Any questions?

Iraq ‘IS’ The War On Terror

Cross posted from Right In A Left World

August 26, 2007

In their crafty endeavor at embarrassing the Bush Administration and causing defeat in the Iraqi Theater of the War on Terror, the leftists have been portraying the ongoing battle in Iraq as a separate war from the War on Terror. We hear that we dropped the ball by leaving Afghanistan, where terrorists are and invading Iraq, where they claim no terrorists were.

Nothing can be further from the truth, not that truth has ever been important to the anti-war left.

Given the events of September 11, 2001, which also revealed our total vulnerability to radical Jihadist and acknowledging that virtually every Intelligence agency in the world believed there was a massive stockpile of banned Weapons of Mass Destruction under Saddam Hussein’s control inside of Iraq, who would be willing to take the chance that those WMD’s would not fall into the hands of radical Jihadists such as Usama Bin Laden? Surely not me.

What leader worth anything wouldn’t take every step possible to safeguard the citizens that elected him to office? Given what was known and assumed, it would have been totally irresponsible to allow Saddam Hussein’s Iraq to remain as it was prior to 9/11.

However, Saddam’s refusal to abide by 17 United Nations Resolutions over the 12 years between the cease-fire he agreed to in 1991 and our invasion in 2003 was but one reason behind the invasion to depose Saddam and his brutal Baathist regime. Although no evidence has been found yet as to an operational link between Saddam’s regime and the horrific events of 9/11, links between Al Qaeda and the regime have been established and confirmed. During the Clinton administration links were established and I sincerely doubt they evaporated once the 2000 elections were finished. Even the vaunted 911 Commission Report stated there were ties, although not operational towards the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

After all the lies and obfuscation of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson and his CIA Analyst Wife, Valerie Plame, a declassified CIA Document on the debriefing of Joseph Wilson shows that Saddam’s regime was indeed seeking purchases of Yellowcake Uranium for nuclear purposes. In addition, we also now have proof that Wilson’s wife did indeed recommend him for the trip to Niger, revealing the lie’s of both of these people to the American Public.

Don’t hold your breath waiting to see either one of these two ‘darlings of the left’ prosecuted for ‘perjury’ as was L. ‘Scooter’ Libby.

A report produced by the Hudson Institute entitled "Saddam Hussein's Philanthropy of Terror," lists known terror groups as Hamas, the Palestinian Liberation Front, Ansar al-Islam and the Arab Liberation Front as having ties to Saddam’s regime. Additionally, known and suspected terrorists as Khala Khadar al Salahat (captured in Baghdad in April or 2003), Abu Nidal (who committed suicide in Baghdad in 2002), Ramzi Yousef (planner of the first WTC bombing of 1993), Abdul Rahman Yasin (conspirator in the first WTC bombing), Abu Abbas (captured just outside Baghdad in April of 2003) and Abu Musab al Zarqawi are listed as having been in Iraq, some for many years.

The report also mentions one of Hussein's diplomats at Iraq's Manila embassy was expelled from the Philippines for communicating via telephone with Abu Madja and Hamsiraji Sali, leaders of the Al-Qaeda-affiliated Abu Sayyaf terrorist group as well as Saddam’s regime paying families of Palestinian suicide bombers upwards of $25,000 upon completion of a successful suicide attack against Israelis.

Clearly, when the anti-war left tells us there were no terrorists in Iraq before we invaded it in 2003, they are very wrong. Having now established there was just reason for invading Iraq, let’s move on to today and the calls to abandon Iraq and focus elsewhere to fight terror.

President Bush, vice-president Cheney, General Petraeus and others maintain that Iraq is the Central Front in the War on Terror. Leftist kooks, many Democrats, News commentators and RINO’s maintain that Iraq is NOT the Central Front in the War on Terror. Who is correct?

While we have Democrat candidates currently crisscrossing the nation pontificating such things as, "This is not our fight. Iraq is at war with itself and American troops are caught in the middle," (Hillary Clinton), "We cannot win a war against the terrorists if we're on the wrong battlefield," (Barack Obama), "By framing this as a war, we have walked right into the trap the terrorists have set—that we are engaged in some kind of clash of civilizations and a war on Islam," (John Edwards and his War on Terror is only a Bumper Sticker Slogan comment), “Wrong War, Wrong Place, Wrong Time,” (John ‘F’in Kerry in his failed 2004 campaign), I think it important to see what our enemies have said about it.

Al Qaeda’s number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri released one of his video’s urging Muslim youth to hurry to Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Palestinian areas to fight for their religion. In an earlier letter to Abu Mus’aab al-Zarqawi in Iraq, Zawahiri expressed Al Qaeda’s four step plan to, expel American forces from Iraq, establish a caliphate over much of Iraq, extend the Jihad to neighboring countries, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon and war against Israel.

Additionally, we have a report of bin Laden’s men breaking some bad news to Mullah Mohammed Omar, the elusive leader of Afghanistan’s Taliban. The message, “Al Qaeda would be diverting a large number of fighters from the anti-U.S. insurgency in Afghanistan to Iraq. Al Qaeda also planned to reduce by half its $3 million monthly contribution to Afghan jihadi outfits.” The reason, “Because bin Laden and his lieutenants see a great opportunity for killing Americans and their allies in Iraq,” effectively turning Iraq into the “Central Front in the War on Terror!”

If our enemies see Iraq as the “Central Front,” we would be foolhardy to abandon the Iraqi People to their fate while we focus our main effort elsewhere that we have been able to enlist the aid of Allies to stand with us against the radical Jihadists there.

When you hear those denying Iraq as part of the War on Terror, don’t let them get away with it. They are wrong. They are in denial. They are completely misled. They are fools.

Just as the battles throughout the Pacific were half a globe away from the D-Day invasion in World War Two, yet were all part of the same war, so are Iraq and the Global War on Terror.

Iraq is but one battlefield in the Global War on Terror and one that we must win, if Western Civilization is to survive.

American Support for War Inches Up

If you are a far lef Democrat that has been trying to force America to surrender in Iraq, you MAY want to get yourself a drink right quick before seeing the latest poll, shown by the New York Times.

American support for the war in Iraq has risen somewhat as the White House has continued to ask the public to reserve judgment about the war until General David Petraeus files his report in the fall.

In a New York Times/CBS News poll conducted over the weekend, 42 percent of Americans said taking military action in Iraq was the right thing to do, while 51 percent said the United States should have stayed out of Iraq.

Support had been at all time low in May, when only 35 percent of Americans said the United States’ involvement in Iraq was the right thing and 61 percent said the United States should have stayed out.
Those numbers need to rise more and I believe that as long as we keep seeing the successes that the last couple of months have brought us, the numbers WILL rise considerably more.

As I said earlier:

We have shown, via multiple sources, that the Iraqi Army is stepping up to the point that our commanders are announcing that they may be able to step down in those parts of Iraq, that the 50 Tribal leaders have decided to help the U.S and Coalition forces, we have also shown you that the everyday Iraqi's, sickened by al-Qaeda's methods have been working with our forces and providing tips that have led to some major progress, and this is just a small sample of the news we bring you every week from Iraq.
Every day now, we are getting good news coming from Iraq, one success at a time, and the American people are beginning to understand that Harry "Baghdad" Reid was wrong, we have NOT lost Iraq and we WILL NOT lose in Iraq.

The bad news stories still are coming out, as they should, but for the first time in YEARS, it is being balanced now, by a reluctant media by the good news that they can no longer ignore and sweep under the rug.

Alot of credit for that needs to go to some of the fine independent journalists that have risked their lives to embed with our troops and bring us the truth.

People like Michael Yon, Bill Roggio just to name two, and the Miliblogs that speak to us from the frontline, but there are many more and they have my and many others THANKS for doing it.

Day after day we bring you good news from Iraq, now, week after week, it has become "the trend" instead of the exception.

GOOD JOB TROOPS.

Of course, the LEFT will definitely try to spin it.

[UPDATE] STAY FIRM MR. PRESIDENT.

[UPDATE #2] From Amy Proctor...

GEN David Petraeus is a hands-on kind of guy. He doesn’t sit in the FOB (Forward Operating Base) and rely on briefings from troops on the beat. Instead, he drives and walks through the streets of Baghdad and sees “astonishing signs of normalcy” in half, perhaps two-thirds of Baghdad. Petraeus said today:

Visitor Tracker
