This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

Unsung Heroes: Doing What Most Won't

~Snooper~

There are three key operations in the ITO, three of many, but these most recent, which have brought about the beginning of the end of Al Qaeda in Iraq. Don't get me wrong here...the war is far from "over" but Victory is at hand.

Operation Phantom Phoenix, Operation Marne Thunderbolt, Operation Iron Harvest

These operations have exacted justice on the remaining hard-core pockets of AQI and mopping up exercises, albeit dangerous, is under way. The video of the latest Shock and Awe air strikes can be seen here or here. You can check out the excellent work of our troops at The Long War Journal.

As our own jackals in DC whine, piss and moan about how the Iraqi Political "benchmarks" go undone; as their own benchmarks and earmarks drain the citizenry dry; we find that unbeknownst to them and, rightfully so...God forbid the NYT finds out about it...the Iraqis have been working feverishly behind the scenes, more than likely under the tutelage of those "nasty and mean military people", to undermine the terrorist groups inside Iraq and they have succeeded. (Don't forget to send cards of condolences to the anti-Americanist groups within CONUS up to and including half of our CONgress.)

HEADLINE:

Iraq: We've Penetrated AQI -- But Apparently Not The American Media

Reid: STOP THE WORLD! I WANNA GET OFF! I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYMORE!! Well, no. He hasn't said that openly but I bet he sure does think it and maybe even whines to his wife...if she can still stand him...and most assuredly to his partner in defeat Nanny Pelosi.
At the same time that the Iraqi National Assembly passed its long-awaited de-Ba'athification reform, the security services have apparently cracked al-Qaeda's organization in the country. Muslim World News, a Muslim news agency in India, reports that the Iraqi Interior Ministry formed a unit recently dedicated to attacking AQI and will shortly take out the entire structure (via AJ Strata):
OH MY!! It was a good thing that the NY Slimes and the Washington Compost didn't know about this ahead of time, eh? They would have tipped off their buddies in AQ!! Instead, Iraqis did the work themselves showing the dumb American idiots in CONgress that can't even do their own damn jobs how to succeed. Well done!

This story can be found here and here.

Iraqi official says Al-Qaeda in Iraq is penetrated, has become an open book Iraq Announces The Defeat Of al-Qaeda Is At Hand, Time To Celebrate

Now we know The Why and the How Did They Know in regards to the recent air strikes. I wonder if that idiot over at StupidMuttDrip feels like the idiot we all know it to be now?

I have often wondered when an AQ Tet Offensive was to come seeing that was their only chance since the Surge has routed them out from just about everywhere. Apparently, their regrouping into these areas may have been the beginnings of that and the Iraqi penetration stemmed that tide and nipped it in the bud. We shall see.

If ops like this keep happening day after day, I think Wizbang may be correct: Iraq may be moot point in campaign after Bush deal... read the story here as well...

Sorry, Barack, You've lost Iraq.

For the complete idiot and dumbest President we have ever had...so say the various anti-Americanist groups around the globe...GWB sure does outfox them at EVERY turn, doesn't he? I wonder if the idiots that get trounced by GWB on a regular basis still feel superior...
The Bush Administration expects to sign a new deal with the Iraqi government this summer which will replace the UN Security Council Resolutions in governing our relationship, and could also take Iraq off the table for the fall elections - as well as for the next Administration. Michael Hirsh reports for Newsweek: [...]

[...] Even on his way out the door, Bush wins again.
OUCH!! That will leave a mark...

As Ed at CQ states:
[...] If the Iraqi government has penetrated AQI, doesn't that mean something for their ability to fight terror and to stand on their own two feet? Isn't a free and stable Iraq the victory we have awaited, and doesn't this suggest that we're coming close to achieving it? Doesn't the joint military operations conducted in Iraq this week tend to confirm this Interior Ministry statement?

The silence is becoming deafening.
There's those damn crickets again...

Catch the buzz here...LOL!!

The Frauds On The Left...Feigned Intelligence

~Snooper~

In recent days, Iranian Puddle Pirates were attempting to create another Persian Gulf incident, testing and probing American Resolve.

The pathetic cretins within the Leftinistra blogosphere, in their haste to prove to the world, as if they need to do so, that they are truly insignificant, rely on such foolishness from folks like this. No matter their driveling and irksome loathing of the United States, we all know what they are...anti-Americanists. The dweebs will continue their ignorant trips into their myopic stupidity until the cows come home.

It seems that the incident back on 12/19/07, a common event, escapes the realms of reality of the members of the retarded.

It matters not to these poor and depraved mutant socialist morons that their yapping about everything they yap about has been debunked time and time again. They are merely yapping in the hopes that they once again become relevant. Such will not be the case. Their Abyss of Obscurity draws nigh.

Another example of pure hate and the admittance of their insignificance, is the Chief anti-Americanist at the Daily KOSmonoffs, the Head Socialist Flake, Kos ITself. Seeing that they know beyond a reasonable doubt that they cannot win in the upcoming national elections, they will try and taint, pollute and cheat. Such immature and spiteful stupidity is very much prevalent among the emotionally insecure.

As we have so stated many times here at ANO, the retarded leftists will do what ever they need to do to win because they cannot win honestly. Truly pathetic. If it means disrupting the elections processes...like terrorists are prone to do...if it means painting the United States military as worthless and lying scum...like terrorists are prone to do...if it means trying to bring down a society that has spread freedom throughout the world and not at the tip of a weapon...like the terrorists are prone to claim...then, they too will become the insignificant dross to be swept aside as slag.

It won't come soon enough.

For the record: I use the term "cretin" quite a bit and below is the definition of cretin...
A Person that is: brainless, stupid, child-like, and full of pointless information that makes no sense and appeals only to other cretins. They can be found in abundance in every single populated internet forum, where they race to post as many mind-numbing messages as possible in a single session. In addition, they seemingly interbreed with other cretins, ensuring that their cretinous genes continue long after they end up dead meaning the Internet will never be rid of their kind. More's the pity.

Feel free to spread the word.

An Email From Gathering Of Eagles: EAGLES UP!

~Snooper~

From Gathering of Eagles:

Cindy Sheehan and Medea Benjamin (Code Pink) will be among the guests at a Veterans for Peace fund raiser to be held in New York City on Sunday. The funds these people raise will go toward anti-war events sponsored by them and their allies including IVAW (Iraq Veterans Against the War). IVAW is preparing to launch its Winter Soldiers campaign which, like the original, will defame and demoralize our troops by publicizing lies and deceptions about their service in Iraq. It is a major goal of Gathering of Eagles to ensure that our military men and women are Never Again abused in this way.

Join us as we turn out to Stop the Lies, Stop the Treason on the street outside their event. Bring your flags and signs.

Who: Medea Benjamin (Code Pink), Cindy Sheehan and a cast of traitors.
What: Fundraiser for Veterans for Peace
Where: Outside Connolly's Pub, 121 W. 45th St., between 6th Ave and Broadway, near Times Square.
When: Sunday, January 13th, 2pm to 6pm
We all know where these funds will go, don't we? Every time these anti-Americanist cretins collect funds, it ALWAYS winds up in the hands of the enemy...our enemy...not theirs. They support our enemies and this is treason.

And The Libtards Shrill, Shriek and Grasp At Their Last Straws

~Snooper~

This is too much, really. It is abundantly clear that the idgits over at SmokePuppyPond wouldn't know what a military tactic was if it hit them right across both shins. It is also clear that the poor slugs are stuck on dumb in regards to the "Mission Accomplished" self-induced quagmire - self-induced by those ignorant of what the "slogan" means. Well...no matter. they are the insignificant class anyway and are getting more and more irrelevant each day.

Speaking of irrelevant, where in the hell is Nanny Pelosi, Incompetent Reid and King Jerk Murtha these days? Weren't they to start off the New Year bragging about all that they accomplished in 2007? Oh. Wait. They are. My bad. Bragging about nothing tells the tale. Smirk.

As you can see from the enclosed map, AQ is few and far betwixt, as it were these days and they had previously "dug-in" in the areas eviscerated yesterday. That was a big mistake. Too bad the morons at SmolderingPuppyCreek don't get that.

No worries. I am sure their friends of the Islamic murdering scum suckers will appreciate their support.

If you have a hankering and you need a GREAT laugh, please visit the decrepit fools at FDL and read the comments. Truly pathetic.

40K Pounds Update: Mincemeat South of The Big B [UPDATED]

~Snooper~

As we brought to our readers' attention yesterday here and here, today, we bring you an update from Pat Dollard. Reporting yesterday, Pat let the world know pretty much before MNF-Iraq did, that the AQ scum bags were getting to see their 72 gay virgin Rotweillers earlier than expected.
[...] The day before, two B1-B bombers and four F-16 fighter jets dropped 48 precision-guided bombs on 47 targets, U.S. Air Force Col. Peter Donnelly, commander of the 18th Expeditionary Air Support Operations Group, told reporters in Baghdad. [...]

[...] "We're moving into areas where coalition forces have not been in months or years in some cases," Ferrell told reporters via a video link, adding that insurgents "had established a deliberate defensive belt to deny our movement in the area." [...]

[...] Despite the massive size of the airstrikes, Donnelly said that to the military's knowledge, no civilians were killed. That could not immediately be independently confirmed. He added that the targeting of three targets was called off because unmanned surveillance planes showed civilians in those areas. [...]
And there ya have it. The largest air strike in Iraq since the onset in 2003. We had to weed them out and get them where we wanted them...oops.

Shock and Awe Returns
Operation Phantom Phoenix
Executing Aggressively, Pursuing Tenaciously

Let's See If I Have This Correct

~Snooper~

The Leftinistra Moonbats, the anti-Americanist morons have been blabbering about the War Against Terror is bankrupting the country...like that retard Ron Paul said last night. What I gather from all of that twittering buffoonery is this. They want to bankrupt us all in other ways...

Please let me know how accurate this all is...

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens each year.

2. $2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs such as food stamps, WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens.

3. $2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens.

4. $12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary school education for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word of English!

5. $17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-born children of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies.

6. $3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens.

7. 30% of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens.

8. $90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare & social services by the American taxpayers.

9. $200 Billion Dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused by the illegal aliens.

10. The illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's two and a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children, are going to make a huge additional crime problem in the US.

11. During the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens that crossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliens from Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroine and marijuana, crossed into the U. S from the Southern border.

12. The National Policy Institute, "estimated that the total cost of mass deportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost of between $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year period."

13. In 2006 illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances back to their countries of origin.

14. "The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One Million Sex Crimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States."

The total cost is a whopping $338.3 BILLION DOLLARS A YEAR! Are we THAT stupid? When we could deport them at a five year cost of $205-230 Billion.

Move America Forward Speaks to Sacramento Board of Supervisors

Videos here and here...

When we heard that the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors would be taking up the issue of the war in Iraq as part of their regular business, with a proposed resolution calling for a timetable for phased-in defeat, we simply had to do something despite the late notice.

News that the board would be taking a look at the resolution first broke last week, causing a small firestorm of controversy here in sleepy old Sacramento, where Move America Forward bases it's headquarters.

As a recently arrived resident of this town I have grown to like Sacramento, in a very short time, so I was interested to come to a meeting of its County Board of Supervisors to see how local government works. It was unfortunate that my first visit would be to witness the County Board take up an issue that clearly is beyond it's operational jurisdiction.

This was the same opinion voiced by dozens of other people from the community, who stood with Move America Forward in opposition to the resolution at the board meeting.

While the Board moved to drop the resolution, a motion enacted by Supervisor Peters - bravo! - Which was the right thing to do, the Board also took the time to let the members of the community who came to speak about the issue, from both sides, give their opinions. [...] read the rest...

In other MAF news: the MAF Team describes their trip to Iraq after Operation Joy To The Troops...Surge plus Iraqi Love for America equals Success
[...] After a two-week stint visiting our troops in Iraq, Move America Forward staffers have returned with news and photographs that can be summed up in four words: American troops are winning.

The MAF delegation traveled well outside the Green Zone, to areas that once were the violence-plagued confines of the insurgency and jihadist terrorist groups.

"Our troops are making a difference now," said Mary Pearson, MAF deputy executive director and professional photographer, whose photos will appear in the Sacramento Union and here. [...] Read the rest

Who's On The Radio?

~Snooper~

As the Strait of Hormuz incident between the Iranian Navy, such as it is, and the US Navy unfolds, it has been determined that the voice heard over the radios with the threat "I am coming at you. You will explode in a couple of minutes", may not have been transmitted from the "fast attack boats" sailing about amongst the Navy vessels. Naturally, anti-Americanists have begun the usual banter about the incident as if the incident never took place at all. This is incredulously atypical of a particular mindset so prevalent in today's political climates.

As reported in the New York Times, not considered a relevant news media in many circles, it names an unnamed source. What with the usual history of the NY Times blabbing National Security secrets to the world in the name of boosting their plummeting circulation, the "unnamed sources" have come into question upon many an occasion.
[...] The audio includes a heavily accented voice warning in English that the Navy warships would explode. However, the recording carries no ambient noise - the sounds of a motor, the sea or wind - that would be expected if the broadcast had been made from one of the five small boats that sped around the three-ship American convoy.

Pentagon officials said they could not rule out that the broadcast might have come from shore, or from another ship nearby, although it might have come from one of the five fast boats with a high-quality radio system. [...]
With that being said, I find it curious that the liberal blogosphere has concluded that the transmissions did not in fact come from the boats so there was in fact no threat at all and the whole incident was contrived. Really. This is also atypical of the cherry-picking that the American liberal blogger and journalist so fall prey to so quickly. They do not read the entire news releases and plunge to conclusions that make them appear to be silly.

As the NY Times "unnamed source" stated, the transmissions "could have" come from the boats with high-tech communication equipment. Surely the Iranian government has such equipment seeing that high-tech IEDs have been found in Iraq and Afghanistan.

At this point, no one is quite sure where the transmissions came from but they all agree that the threat came from someplace. The threat was still there.

In another story released later on in the day, we learn this from a "spokesperson of the Admiral of the Fifth Fleet":
[...] "It happened in the middle of all the very unusual activity, so as we assess the information and situation, we still put it in the total aggregate of what happened Sunday morning. I guess we're not saying that it absolutely came from the boats, but we're not saying it absolutely didn't." [...]
And, there you have it. No one knows and we won't find out until we know for sure. Again, in another report from questions to Defense Secretary Robert Gates:
[...] I have no question whatsoever about the report on this incident from the captains of the ships and also from the video itself. [...]
Naturally, the Iranian government has denied the whole incident and the Blame America Crowds and the anti-America crowds will side with any and all potential or current enemies of the United States, depending upon who the current President is.

A blogger claiming to be a former Navy officer with alleged knowledge of the area was soon believed to be gospel because he said that mistakes could have been made. This possible mistake was soon bantered about as fact. Simply amazing.

In other reports, the entire "mystery Navy guy" comments are displayed that many either ignore or refuse to accept:
[...] The Times quotes a retired sailor as saying "my first thought was that the "explode" comment might not have even come from one of the Iranian craft, but some loser monitoring the events at a shore facility." [...]
As this "mystery Navy guy" said, it could have come from a monitoring facility on shore. So what and why does it matter?

From more rational beings that are capable of seeing a larger picture:
[...] The Navy reported what its people saw and heard. If what they heard turns out to have been some bizarre transmission from shore, that doesn't change what we see on the tape: Iranian ships harassing and threatening American vessels in international waters. There's no reason to doubt our sailors' statements that the Iranians were dropping unidentified objects into the water--unless your default assumptions are that the American military is habitually mendacious, and that the Iranian regime is unerringly truthful. [...]
This is what happens when the American liberal bloggers, unhinged as they are, not only jump to conclusions to reinforce their absolute hatred of the current American Administration, they will plunge into the unknown without safety nets. When they crash and burn as they always do and, truth be known, they will deny anything ever happened and blame someone else in the process.

For the readers' convenience, unlike a liberal blogger, here is a source where there are ample articles and pieces to read through to determine your own opinion.

In conclusion, if the radio transmission did not come from the boats and came from shore, so what? The threat still existed.

The above is posted at Digital Journal but I do not know for how long if y'all could vote it up. The following is NOT at Digital Journal for the obvious reasons...it was written and posted there in rebuttal to this unhinged moron's post suffering from extreme BDS and is considered the Master Debater at Digital Journal...truly sad.

I Am A Loyal Democrat

I am Loyal Democrat. I will take the side of any entity that declares itself to be an enemy of the United States. I will consider any action taken by my government to be improper, and defend the position of any nation that opposes my own. I will not stand by while the concepts of freedom and liberty are allowed to infect the thoughts of repressed peoples. Rather, I will combat such efforts and convince the slaves of dictatorships that they have it better than anyone else.

I am Loyal Democrat. I will tell all Americans that they had 9/11 coming as retribution for all of our evil deeds inflicted upon members of the most peaceful religion on earth. I will work to undermine any effort to destroy the Islamic tidal wave of terror that has vowed to wash onto our beaches. I will strive to weaken our military as it attempts to carry out its mission overseas. I shall encourage total surrender to any foe that threatens us.

I am Loyal Democrat. I shall stir up domestic unrest by separating my fellow citizens into groups, and then I will encourage each group to distrust the next, and convince each that I am their one true friend. Through this magnificent deception, I will rule them all. I will convince minorities that they are inferior, and that they need my special help to succeed in life. Once I have them suspicious of others and fully demoralized, I will keep them down, and make their every gain dependent on what I decide to let them do. I shall oppress minorities worse than any avowed racist could ever hope to.

I am Loyal Democrat. I will make every effort to criticize people that achieve, to hinder those that aspire, and ridicule those that display self-worth. In spite of my lack of personal merit, I will elevate myself in the eyes of others by bringing people with actual character down. I will prey on people's envy of others' success, and I will gain undeserved power as a result. I will take from those that earn until they lose the motivation to build up mankind any longer.

I am Loyal Democrat. I will promote the tyranny of socialism, and crush the only economic system that has advanced mankind. And when we are all financially destitute and controlled by an omnipotent government, I shall laugh at the destruction I have wrought, for I truly hate mankind.

I am Loyal Democrat

Muslim Charter of Misrepresentation

Thursday, January 10, 2008 saw the signing by representatives of 400 European Muslim organizations, of a Charter of European Muslim Understanding, whose text you may read at UpPompeii. The charter is the work of the Federation of Islamic Organizations in Europe.

Let us critically examine some critical provisions of the charter. Section 1, Article 5: [Emphasis added for clarity.]

5. Islam has honoured human beings as stewards of the earth. This honour embraces all the children of Adam, both male and female, without discrimination. By virtue of this honour, human beings are to be protected from anything that is an affront to their dignity, is harmful to their mental faculties, is damaging to their health or which abuses their rights by exploiting their vulnerabilities.
All human beings, male and female are equal, without discrimination. All are to be protected from affront to dignity and physical harm; their vulnerabilities are not to be exploited. Is there any truth in those statements? By what standard and what evidence shall we judge this matter?
1. Our understanding of Islam is based on immutable principles that are derived from the authentic sources of Islam: the Qur'an and the Prophetic traditions (Sunnah), within the framework of consensus with consideration for the time factor as well as the specifics of the European reality.
What does Allah, in his Qur'an tell us about the dignity of women?
  • 2:223. Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth (have sexual relations with your wives in any manner as long as it is in the vagina and not in the anus), [...]
  • 4:11. Allâh commands you as regards your children's (inheritance); to the male, a portion equal to that of two females; [...]
  • 2:282. [...]And get two witnesses out of your own men. And if there are not two men (available), then a man and two women, such as you agree for witnesses, so that if one of them (two women) errs, the other can remind her. [...]
What do the traditions testify to the dignity of women?
What of the dignity of disbelievers; what did Allah say?
  • 8:22. Verily! The worst of (moving) living creatures with Allâh are the deaf and the dumb, those who understand not (i.e. the disbelievers).
  • 2:65. And indeed you knew those amongst you who transgressed in the matter of the Sabbath (i.e. Saturday). We said to them: "Be you monkeys, despised and rejected."
  • 3:112. Indignity is put over them wherever they may be, except when under a covenant (of protection) from Allâh, and from men; they have drawn on themselves the Wrath of Allâh, and destruction is put over them. This is because they disbelieved in the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh and killed the Prophets without right. This is because they disobeyed (Allâh) and used to transgress beyond bounds (in Allâh's disobedience, crimes and sins).
  • 9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
And what did Moe testify to our dignity?
  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:

    Narrated Anas bin Malik:

Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah."
Dignity, equality, protection; three strikes and yer out!!
7. Islam calls for equality between man and woman within the framework of mutual respect and views that a balanced life is one in which the relationship between man and woman is harmonious and complementary. It unequivocally rejects all notions or actions that undermine women or deprive them of their legitimate rights, regardless of some customs or habits of some Muslims. Islam strongly opposes the exploitation of women and their treatment as mere objects of desire.
Is that true? What did Allah say about that?
  • 4:24. Also (forbidden are) women already married, except those (captives and slaves) whom your right hands possess. [...]
  • Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 459:

    Narrated Ibn Muhairiz:

I entered the Mosque and saw Abu Said Al-Khudri and sat beside him and asked him about Al-Azl (i.e. coitus interruptus). Abu Said said, "We went out with Allah's Apostle for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So when we intended to do coitus interrupt us, we said, 'How can we do coitus interruptus before asking Allah's Apostle who is present among us?" We asked (him) about it and he said, 'It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul (till the Day of Resurrection) is predestined to exist, it will exist."
9. Islam respects human rights and calls for equality among all human beings, it rejects all forms of racial discrimination and emphasises the importance of liberty. Hence it condemns compulsion in religion and allows the individual freedom of conscience. Furthermore, Islam encourages that freedom ought to be exercised in accordance with moral values and respect for law, such that it does not infringe upon the rights of others.
What did Moe say about discrimination?
  • Sahih Muslim Book 020, Number 4476:

It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: The Caliphate will remain among the Quraish even if only two persons are left (on the earth),

And what of compulsion? [See 9:29 cited above.]
10. Islam calls for mutual acquaintance between people, dialogue and co-operation among people and nations so as to enhance co-existence and achieve peace in the world. The term Jihad that occurs in Islamic texts means to exert all efforts towards good, starting from reforming oneself to spreading truth and justice between people. Jihad in its understanding as warfare is regarded as one of the means available to a Muslim state when it needs to defend itself against aggression. This is in compliance with international law. Based on such an understanding of Jihad, Islam rejects indiscriminate violence and terrorism and supports just causes and affirms the right of all people to defend themselves by legitimate means.
What did Allah say?
  • 8:39. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. [...]
  • 9:123. O you who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are close to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allâh is with those who are the Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - see V.2:2).
What did Moe say?
  • Abu Dawud 14.2635
    Narrated Anas ibn Malik:

The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: I am commanded to fight with men till they testify that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and His Apostle, face our qiblah (direction of prayer), eat what we slaughter, and pray like us. When they do that, their life and property are unlawful for us except what is due to them. They will have the same rights as the Muslims have, and have the same responsibilities as the Muslims have.
Now we know that Islam remains true to form, contstant in its practice of al-Taqeyya. There is no truth in it!

The Surge: One Year Later

~Snooper~

Remember the Leftinistra, the armies of the socialist liberal, have in the past brought up Iraq Four Years Later? Remember how the #1 loser in America today, Harry Dingy Reid, among others, said many times that the war was lost? Remember the anti-Americanist groups disguised as peace proponents brought up how the troops need to come home because America was breeding terrorists? Remember how the proponents of the Blame America First cretins and the Hate America Crowds just LOVED the possibility that America would LOSE in Iraq?

Why are they so silent now?

Here we are on the anniversary of The Surge with undeniable positive news and outcome of the War In Iraq and the Leftinistra are deathly silent. Why is that?

Bill Whittle has a very well thought out and presented essay on The Why the Surge worked. We all know the reasons why but the Leftinistra need to reminded of it from time to time.
[...] I think the Surge has had spectacular success not because of the additional troops so much as for the fact that when the media and the Democrats demanded we cut and run...we did not cut and run. We doubled down. When the calls for defeat and dishonor were at their loudest - sad to say a not unwarranted street rep we had made for ourselves - somehow, somehow we simply just hung on and gave them not a retreat but a charge. [...]
Al Anbar will soon be handed over to the IP and the INA in March and not a squeak from the pipsqueaks? I would say that I don't get it but that would be a lie. I would say that I don't understand but, that would be another lie. I wonder what the buzz at memeorandum will be?

From Dr Sanity:
[...] The courageous men and women of our military services know what is worth fighting for; Forty Second Boyd knew what was worth fighting for; and, my audacious hope is that the American people will once again remember what is worth fighting for; and break out of the self-induced mental fog many have slipped into to avoid an unpleasant and frightening reality bearing down on them.

Because, it really matters.
Yes...it does truly matter. This is why "they" are so silent...

They have been on the wrong side of this issue for political gain! And, what have they gained?

They disgust me and they should disgust you as well. They have gained America's contempt.

On this anniversary of the Surge, American forces are pounding what there is left of AQ in Iraq in the hopes of diverting a possible Al Qaeda "Tet" Offensive. AQ has no other choice than to perform a last-ditch effort to renew the American Media's attention.

Air strikes hit more than 40 targets in Arab Jabour
Multi-National Division - Center

FORWARD OPERATING BASE KALSU, Iraq - More than 40 targets were hit Jan. 10 after precision air strikes destroyed reported al-Qaeda safe havens in Arab Jabour. Thirty-eight bombs were dropped within the first 10 minutes, with a total tonnage of 40,000 pounds.

The precision air strikes supported Operation Phantom Phoenix, the overarching operation that includes Operation Marne Thunderbolt.

A joint operation between the Air Force and Soldiers of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division required extensive planning to prevent collateral damage and to deny the use of the area for attacks into Baghdad and against Coalition Forces.

Two B-1 Bombers and four F-16 fighter jets, directed bombs at three large target areas. Each bomber made two passes and the F-16s followed to complete the set. Coordination between the Army and Air Force was essential in making the operation a success.

Operation Marne Thunderbolt is an ongoing operation aimed at flushing out remaining al-Qaeda extremists operating in the southern Arab Jabour area, and to create conditions for improved security.

Soldiers from 2nd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division will join Iraqi Security Forces and Concerned Local Citizens to continue these offensive operations to keep pressure on the enemy.
Operation Phantom Phoenix...eat that you terrorist pig sucking scum bastards! In loving memory of my brother...Kill all VC!!

My Pet Jawa is a must go see. Go see Breitbart while you are at it. And, never ever forget to stop by Pat Dollard's for his take on everything in Iraq and Afghanistan.

HALP US! WE BE STUCKED IN IRAK!

John Kerry has endorsed Obama! This can only help us folks! This will take support away from Obama in the long run. Everybody knows of the "tension" between the Kerrys and the Clintons. The Clintons were BANKING on a Kerry loss in 2004 against GWB to set up Hillary's run in 2008.

Now we have Kerry throwing in with Obama and the Clinton camp releases "shady land dealings" of Obama. Like Reid's shady land deals.

Stand by. This is only going to get better.

I wonder what the former running mate with Kerry, John Edwards thinks of this...FLUSH THE JOHNS!!

Hillary The Caring: Evil Personified?

~Snooper~

Well, we saw the "human side" of Hillary as she welled up. We heard her cackles to questions. We saw her numbers tanking as Obama was shown to be a GREAT speech deliveries. We saw that when Hillary loses a caucus, it doesn't matter. We at ANO have been waiting for Hillary to resume her evilness and it has finally arrived.

Atlas Shrugs brings us the latest Hillary Attack machine and her secret service investigators have their claws every where and she will now use everything and anything to abase anyone in her way to elevate her snake oil conundrums.

It seems that Obama made a "bone headed mistake" by associating with a charlatan that he knew was a charlatan before hand. "Rather" interesting. Watch out folks...the Hillary Machine is in full gear and NOTHING could be better for the GOP in '08!!

Ignorant Defeatism: Ramblings Of The Know Nothings

~Snooper~

I have been feverishly searching for the video of the South Carolina after-debate debates when Fred Thompson spanked Colmes over the failed surge of the Defeatocrats in regards to the retarded Iraqi Benchmarks non-issue issue. I haven't found that video yet so I will post the transcript located at Real Clear Politics: (emphasis mine)
COLMES: You really went after at one point Mike Huckabee and you basically said something about him being part of the blame America first crowd. Is that something you feel about him? Is he a blame America firster, Mike Huckabee?

THOMPSON: When he says our administration has a bunker mentality and that we have an arrogant policy. We went into Iraq with 16 countries. I wonder if they were arrogant, things are turning out well there. He said that he wasn't sure he supported the surge, so he hasn't been totally on board.

COLMES: Is he blame America firster?

THOMPSON: I think that reflects a blame America first attitude that is reminiscent of the Democratic Party.

COLMES: We were told by the president there were about 18 benchmarks and nine of them have been met, a year later. Wasn't the idea that if we haven't met these benchmarks we have to talk about rejiggering our policy in Iraq and they haven't been met?

THOMPSON: The only benchmark is success.

COLMES: They mentioned specific things.

THOMPSON: I didn't. By any measure, whether you're talking about reduction in violence. Whether you're talking about Anbar Province, we're talking about turning Anbar Province over to our allies there, we thought that was lost. Do you remember Harry Reid when he said the war was lost?

The question is, what are the Democrats going to say about this?

COLMES: Wasn't the idea of the surge to give time for there to be conciliation among the various parties. There is no evidence we'd believe there'd be any ability for Iraq to govern and the security forces would be able to do what we were told they would have to do a year after the surge took place?

THOMPSON: That's like saying there's no progress in America if it is not happening in Washington, DC, there's lots of cooperation going on outside in the various provinces. Shia and Sunni are coming together, Shia are coming to us that haven't been with us before. Take yes for an answer, Alan. We've had some success there. You have to live with it.

COLMES: We had the nine out of 18. Not the 18 that we thought we would need before we were going to ...

THOMPSON: I don't know about Washington criteria, all I know is that we're winning in large part due to the surge and the new strategy that we've got and being carried out so effectively. And we can start bringing people home later this year according to our plan as part of our success scenario, that America will be safer because of it.

COLMES: I want to ask you about the National Intelligence Estimate that also came up in tonight's debate. Do we believe the National Intelligence Estimate on Iran or do we say we don't trust our intelligence agencies and we don't listen to what they tell us?

THOMPSON: People like you were critical of our intelligence agencies when they were coming up with invasions you didn't like, you were very critical of them yourself. They are sacrosanct when they say something you agree.

COLMES: I was critical of cherry picking. But 18 different agencies.

THOMPSON: Maybe they are still cherry picking.

COLMES: But 18 different intelligence agencies say the same thing.

THOMPSON: It's not 18 different intelligence agencies, there's some representatives from various places, including the State Department. Let's assume that they're correct, what happened in 2003, when they say that the Iraqis decided to abandon their nuclear plans? 2003. And we invaded Iraq, that's what happened.

COLMES: You don't want to believe them now.

HANNITY: Let me bring you to the right side here.

THOMPSON: You're the man.

And Colmes is a leftists dweeb. As in the past, whenever the Defeatocrats bring up the "Iraqi Benchmarks", they get spanked and they get spanked hard. I find it "Rather" curious that The Surge has brought about the success the Defeatocrats wanted without their precious Iraqi Benchmark mandates. What a bunch of clowns they are. I can just hear them in their closed-door meetings or their private calls:
"But, but, but, that damn Petraeus and those nasty boys in uniform betrayed us! WE were supposed to dictate to THEM but, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! They had to go and start winning without those Benchmarks! Now look at us...on the WRONG end of the stick...AGAIN! DAMN that Bush anyway!"
Cretins all.

We have leftist/socialist cretins such as Matt from Think Digressive saying idiocy that the reason there has been success in Iraq in 2007 because in comparison, 2006 was hell. That whole post is so full of America Hate that I cannot place the content thereof in this post. The poor slog seemingly relies on the liar Olbermann for distorted BDS to come to flawed conclusions. One day, there will come a cure for BDS. Further ignorance similar to the poor troll Matty can be found here.

Yesterday, one of the "benchmarks" was met that the whiners and pathetic defeatocrats have been whining about, even though they themselves did nothing in 2007 but enable and embolden the enemy. Of course, the defeatocrats will naturally ignore the news because it does not fit into their agenda due to their ignorant and blatant hatred of GWB.

The most ranted about "benchmark" was the De-Baathification Law. It passed. Some are whining about it but they are using democratic principles to hash out their differences and they aren't shooting each other over it, either. Sounds like political progress to me.

Dave Price of Dean's World, Susan Duclos of Wake Up America, Power Line, Ed Morrissey of Captain's Quarters, and Breitbart all have good pieces out in this regard, and, I am wondering why the defeatocrats cannot admit they were wrong, come out and publicly laud General Petraeus and his Surge Plan as the success that it is and has become. Naturally, that would require an admittance that they were wrong from the start and were heavily in the market of political falderal.

I agree with what Power Line has concluded...they are waiting for the Defeatocrats just to come out and openly admit that "we just want to lose." Seeing that they love to lose and have been defeated grandly in their bid for America to lose, you'd think they would be happy about losing as they did in 2007.

As more and more successes in Iraq come into the public eye thanks mostly to the milbloggers and The New Media, I wonder what the new chants will be from the anti-Americanists...could it be; "Too slow! Pull out now!"

The Surrender Caucus, I am sure, are having meetings some place...away from those pesky black helicopters.

The buzz will be collected here but do not expect many of the Leftinistra to comment positively on this happenstance...they are incapable of it.

Be sure to monitor CQ for the following:
[...] I wonder how the anti-war crowd will spin this. My guesses:

1. It's too late -- the sky is already falling!
2. Too many people have died to make freedom worth it.
3. (crickets chirping)

Or is there spin I missed? [...]
Redstate has already chimed in on that one. They are sticking with "crickets", as am I.

Thank God that Al Gore invented the internet. We would never be able to immortalize the Chief Incompetent like this at all. Nor would we have access to news at a glance showing the world what idiots the defeatocrats have been all along, and read about good news about Benchmarks from various sources.

With the approval ratings of CONgress reaching once again an all-time low (how low can they go?) is it any wonder that they are trying to become relevant once again? Have they ever been?
Congress' approval rating has hit a new historic low, as Americans blame both Democrats and Republicans for the impasse over key issues.

The USA Today/Gallup survey, released Monday, showed that Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, give the president, congressional Democrats and congressional Republicans unfavorable ratings.

President Bush's approval ratings have been poor for most of two years, but have been rising in recent months.

Congressional approval, however, has been diminishing.

"The American people just decided that Washington is either incompetent or irrelevant," said Frank Luntz, who has conducted polls for Republicans. "Republicans made promises they didn't keep, and Democrats made promises they couldn't keep. And now it's a pox on all their houses."
The best thing that can happen to America at this point is to unelect everyone in CONgress and replace them with strict Constitutionalists.
