 Between December 12 & 14, 2011, the OIC, Department of State and others met in Washington to find ways of implementing HRC Res. 16/18.  From the available evidence, they appear to have settled on a new enforcement model, linked to "consequences" .

    If this new model had been in place a year ago, Pastors Jones & Sapp would be sued for civil liability and persecuted for trying and burning a Qur'an , based on the assertion that Pakistani Muslims rioted, causing death and destruction, as a result of their book burning. 

    The fact that the riots resulted from inflammatory sermons at Jumah Salat probably would not have saved the Pastors from legal expenses and penalties.  The intention is to impose self censorship by implementing a heckler's veto. 

    If we expose Islam and they don't like it, Muslims can riot and blame us for their actions, and the government can impose fines, costs, and imprisonment.
Now is the time to stand up for the First Amendment's Free Speech clause by demanding that Congress block implementation of the Istanbul process.

I usually confine the use of the ironic "yeah, right" to commentary on the foibles of Muslims. Not this time. I received an email appeal which I have reproduced below, unedited. Iran is about to join the nuclear club, probably within the next three years.

The theory is that we can slow Iran's nuclear development by reducing their income by reducing our reliance on imported oil. There is only one practical way to reduce that dependence on imports: by increasing domestic production & refining. That process has a long lead time, about ten years. In three years Iran has nukes; in ten we throttle their oil revenue. Yeah, right.

Obamination has cut off domestic offshore exploration and production. The next five year MMS plan got canceled. Get a clue already! It ain't gonna happen. If we had increased domestic exploration in 1995, we could be enjoying the benefits now. But Slick Willy vetoed it.

Ahmadinejad needs nukes. Give him a few. That will solve his problem and ours, immediately & permanently.

Iranian President Ahmadinejad addressed the United Nations on nuclear non-proliferation. How ironic is that?

Nobody is fooled by President Ahmadinejad's attendance. Iran's intentions are abundantly clear and his nuclear ambitions threaten his neighbors, Israel's existence, and our national security. Seat Scott Brown Now!

Tea Party Express is promoting a petition effort insisting that Scott Brown be immediately seated in the U.S. Senate. Their petition has accumulated 27,000 signatures, it needs more.

Please add your signature to mine, copy this blog post and email it to everyone you can influence. The Democrats are desperate for a way to delay and nullify Brown's vote in the Senate. We must be more insistent on the immediate certification of the vote and swearing in ceremony so that Brown can begin executing the voter's will.

Two exit polls were conducted, the results from one of them have been published. This is how Fabrizio, McLaughlin and Associates summarized their analysis of the results.

• Plurality of Brown voters said their vote was meant to send a message to Washington - not a vote for Brown's candidacy

The electorate of Massachusetts sent a clear political message. The Democrats are seeking a way to ignore that message. It is up to us to backup those voters and reinforce their clear message. Defamation of Religions: World Opoinion Survey

World Public Opinion reported the results of an international survey of opinion on defamation of religions taken between April 25 and July 9, '09. As I would expect, support for free expression is greatest in western democracies and support for censorship is greatest in Islamic nations.

A five page pdf file revealing the survey's methodology has one surprise: the U.S.A. was surveyed on line.

In the United States, the poll was an online survey drawn from a nationally representative sample of the Knowledge Networks online panel. This panel is probabilistically-based, selected from the population of US telephone households and subsequently provided with an Internet connection if needed.

The Methodology Report reveals that Hong Kong & Taiwan results were excluded from the averages, but does not explain the exclusions. There is a trend toward heavy coverage of urban areas, which could result in a more liberal result.

Lets express our objection against the absurd decision to award B. Obama Nobel Peace Prize. His activity had not yet abounded the unusual achievements. And although it can not be denied his potential, a decision the Nobel Committee is definitely premature, and in addition the political. Unfortunately, such a choice Stockholm committee is directed at existing laureates this prestigious Prize, who have spent years devoted themselves to working hard and consistently for their ideals.

Imperfect as it is, the petition is far superior to anything I could produce in any language other than English, and it just scratches the surface of my sentiments. I endorsed it without hesitation and hope that you will, too. There are more than 1600 signatures and I hope it will garner one thousand times that number.

Awarding the peace prize to a terrorist appeasing traitor denigrates the prize as much as honoring Arafat & Carter did.

Petition for Immigration Law Enforcement

Numbers USA is organizing a petition drive to demonstrate our will to see current immigration laws enforced. To date, 11,491 people have signed their petition, which states:

At a San Francisco rally against immigration laws, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi suggested that it is un-American to use types of enforcement to drive illegal aliens out of U.S. jobs. She has also called for an end to ICE's worksite operations. Coming from one of the nation's highest ranking public officials, this is very disturbing. The small amount of worksite enforcement over the last 18 months has proven itself especially effective in providing jobs for unemployed Americans, including by frightening non-targeted businesses into hiring only legal workers.

We call on you to affirm that a primary purpose of immigration laws is to protect American workers -- particularly our most vulnerable citizens. And we urge you to re-state your oath to carry out these laws of our country to your fullest ability. Please show your commitment to putting especially low-skill American workers back on the job by giving your full support to ICE agents and adopting regulations requiring all federal contractors to use E-Verify.

I have signed the petition. I urge my fellow citizens to sign it and to join Numbers USA and actively express their desire to support legal immigration. Given the current balance of political power, the fence won't be built, many more illegal aliens will join the millions already here, accompanied by terrorists crossing the open border and they will be given citizenship and become a permanent part of the Democrat's voting block. That outcome can only be prevented if we apply intense political pressure. I view this petition as a good start.
