This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

An EXCELLENT Analysis...And...

I am ANGRY (not...LOL) that I didn't come up with this!

I spotted these comments at another comment location:

Iraq is Vietnam. And the Democrats have been warning us about it all along. It is Vietnam because;

1. like in Vietnam, we are winning the war, even though the Democrats tell us we're not.
2. like in Vietnam, the Iraqis want freedom, even though the Democrats tell us they don't.
3. like in Vietnam, the Democrats are using the media to fight the war for the enemy.
4. like in Vietnam, the war can be won even though Democrats tell us it can't.
5. like in Vietnam, the Democrats use the media and the election to cripple the military command.
6. like in Vietnam, the Democrats are trying to turn the country against our military.
Sounds like Vietnam to me with the same outcome if we leave. But what's a few hundred thousand deaths to the Dhimmicraps? They didn't care in Vietnam and they won't likely care in Iraq either.

Is that perfect or what?

Tell Code Stupid That The Terrorists Need More Money

TARMIYAH, Iraq – Coalition Force Soldiers discovered and destroyed one of the largest weapons caches found in the Salah ad Din Province in the last 15 months Oct. 18.

CF discovered five weapons caches which contained approximately 41,000 pounds of explosives as well as 35 projectiles west of Tarmiya.

The caches were then destroyed by EOD without any additional damage or any casualties.

The fifth cache alone contained 300 separate bags of homemade explosives, each weighing 100 lbs. The crater from the blast measured 100 feet wide, 100 feet long and 30 feet deep.

“A discovery of this magnitude deals a crippling blow to the enemy,” said Col. Bryan Owens, commander, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. “We will continue to do what is necessary to take weapons from the enemy and provide peace for the Iraqi people.”

The caches were initially discovered by a Coalition Forces helicopter in the area.

The Democratic Party Leadership Under Severe Scrutiny By The NYT?

What gives?

Every now and then, we are tempted to double-check that the Democrats actually won control of Congress last year.

[...]
Ouch. Is that a biting indictment as to the "udder" uselessness of the Leftinistra? Are we to believe that the NYT was snookered by the lies of the Leftinistra...the very same ones the NYT aided and abetted? Is this a sad attempt of the leftie-leaning rag to spin their way out of a dismal failure as a journalistic outlet? Have their own ways and means come back and bitten them in their own socialist arse?

Are we to believe that the "democrats" the NYT is whining about has led the vaunted NYT astray?

Please. Spare us the ignorance of all of that. The NYT is very much complicit in aiding the Leftinistra lies and deceit that got them into power. We that are "in the know" knew then what the NYT is pretending to "know now". They lied their way in and once in, have not been able to perform one single thing they campaigned on except for the ignorant minimum wage quagmire and maybe renaming some post offices. EVERYTHING else they tried to do ended in dismal failure because the majority of Americans woke up and said, "Hell no."

They pandered and catered to the anti-Americanists and they are most assuredly NOT the majority of Americans, no matter the spin on polls.

Oh. Right. here we go.
[...]

It was particularly hard to tell this week. Democratic leaders were cowed, once again, by propaganda from the White House and failed, once again, to modernize the law on electronic spying in a way that permits robust intelligence gathering on terrorists without undermining the Constitution.

[...]
What propaganda would THAT be, eh? How about some specifics there, skippy? Why was it OK for the Clintonista to use Echelon but not OK to listen in on terrorists, eh? Oh. Wait. The Clintons listened in on their personal domestic enemies and that is OK. I see. Their Shadow Government was just peachy-OK-fine with the NYT, I suppose. Idiot.

I wonder who the idiot is that wrote this pathetic editorial in the NYSlimes.

And since when do terrorists get to be protected under the United States Constitution, you moron?

I have noticed that Wake Up America and others have written some articles on this subject and here are their words:

What the writer neglects to inform his readers is that the Democrats had that bill on their desks since April, months before the August Recess and they sat on their collective butts and did nothing about it until the last possible minute and only then did they act because their "vacation" was threatened.

Power Line reminds us that the request by the Director of National Intelligence, was sent to Congress in APRIL, so this last minute shuffle and accusations that the President was pushing this at the last minute, is due to the lack of concern or importance shown regarding this by our the Democratically controlled Congress.

The writer of the NYT opinion piece goes on to lament:

House Democrats drafted a measure that, while imperfect, was an improvement to the one passed this summer. But before the House could vote, Republicans tied up the measure in bureaucratic knots and Democratic leaders pulled it. Senate Democrats did even worse, accepting a Potemkin compromise that endorsed far too much of the bad summer law.

Once again the writer deliberately doesn't tell the readers that it was the Democrats that played fast and loose and tried to cut off all debate and allow no amendments on the bill and the Republicans used their "right", under the rules of the house, of a motion to recommit and that stated:

Nothing in this Act [H.R. 3773] or the amendments made by this Act shall be construed to prohibit the intelligence community (as defined in section 3(4) of the National Security Act of 1947 (50 U.S.C. 401a(4))) from conducting surveillance needed to prevent Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaeda, or any other foreign terrorist organization designated under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (8 U.S.C. 1189) from attacking the United States or any United States person.

As Jeff Emanuel from Red State said:

House Democrats were unable to whip enough votes to get their way. Today, they were against a simple vote on a Republican proposal to protect America's intelligence agencies ability to fight Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda. That's it - they were against that and fought desperately today to kill it.

When they failed, they pulled the entire FISA bill.

To his complaint about the "Potemkin compromise" that the Senate endorsed, the writer would do well to remember that in a two party system, the only way to get bills passed that will not receive a veto is to compromise, which the White House and the Senate did, but I guess that concept is a little hard for the editorial writer to grasp.

More from the "brainless opinion writing blowhard" states:

As the debate proceeds, Americans will be told that the delicate compromises were about how the government may spy on phone calls and electronic messages in the age of instant communications. Republicans have already started blowing hot air about any naysayers trying to stop spies from tracking terrorists.

That "hot air" which is not disputed, is the fact that people like Adam Gahdan, known and self admitted al-Qaeda affiliate, who happens to be American and on the FBI's most wanted list after having been indicted for treason, would not be allowed to have his communications monitored under the Wyden amendment.

He is listed on the FBI's website of most wanted terrorists and was indicted in the Central District of California for treason and material support to Al Qaeda.

I guess the facts are a little hard for the editorial writer to address.

It is editorials like that that make the next piece, from The American Prospect, even more amusing when the title asks "Is it Time for Democrats to Start Panicking?".

They can't stop the war or override the president's veto on S-CHIP. Harry Reid is less popular in his home state of Nevada than the president is in the country, and, if you listen to the pollsters and the pundits, the Democrats are about to choose one of the most divisive political figures in the Republic’s history to be their 2008 presidential nominee.

Which begs the question: When should Democrats begin to panic?

The answer is "not yet." But the truth is that unless they can re-establish some of their 2006 momentum, Democrats may find themselves going into the next election tagged as the party that couldn't stop Bush when given a chance, or as the party that did not try hard enough.

The Democrats have held majority in both houses for 10 months now and their own supporters are already preparing themselves for the death of the Democrats.

We have shown how the far left liberals have called Nancy Pelosi weak, other far left liberal blogs have suggested that Harry Reid step down because he is weak and more of them have targeted what they call Bush Dog Democrats.

Example of what I mean by "eating their own":

Back in August Matt Stoller first floated the idea of a "Bush Dog" campaign against Democratic members of Congress who enable the right-wing through their support of Bush's policies on core progressive values at key moments.

Now the campaign is in full flight. If you type "Bush Dog Democrat" you now get thousands of results. Profiles of all 38 House Bush Dogs have been completed. Among critics are the DLC, DSCC and insider news source National Jornal.

However it has been primarily focused on House Bush Dogs. However with a little research I found that Senate Bush Dogs are a much bigger problem.

They are right, a search for Bush Dog Democrats shows they are, indeed, eating their own and saving the GOP the trouble of having to do it for them....LOLOLOL

The perfect finish for a piece like this showing the NYT preparing the eulogy for the Democrats and The American Prospect wondering when they should start to panic, would be William Kristol's "Epitaph for a congress"

All of this followed by several months the defining statement of the 110th Congress: Harry Reid's assertion, this past April 19, "This war is lost." History may well record that statement as the epitaph for the 110th Congress, and the party that led it. The Democrats engaged in endless efforts to make sure the war really was lost. They failed. Now it looks as if the war, despite the Democratic Congress's best efforts, may well be won. It's the congressional Democrats who are the losers. And so could be the 2008 Democratic presidential nominee. Are the American people likely to elect the candidate of a party that has tried its best to lose a winnable war?

Read the whole thing, but the bottom line here is that in a short 10 month period the Democrats and their supporters have worked against each other, eaten their own, publicly embarrassed themselves, multiple times, and are divided from within their own party on almost every issue.

In answer to The American Prospect, yes, I do think the Democrats should be in panic mode and their most recent attempt to grasp at any straws, no matter how embarrassing it turns out for them, has shown that are, indeed, allowing panic to rule.

I guess that settles that. We in The New Media have our act together, can distinguish between right and wrong and know how to accept personal responsibility and can own up to errors when made. No one of substance can say the same for any Leftinistra...Murtha being the perfect example.

The anti-Americanists need To Get Condolences Cards

The non-ANSWER(s) Conglomeration of Idiots, Code Pepto Dismal Malcontents, Treasonous Veterans For Pieces of Silver, ReidCo, PelosiCo, Murtha The Toad Ass, Kerry The Fraud and Liar, Teddy The Drunken Fool Mumbler and the others of that slimy ilk will find this to be sad news. Especially that moron Stark Ass.

Please send condolences cards to the Leftinistra. They will need a hug.

FIVE TERRORISTS KILLED, TWO SUSPECTS DETAINED DURING COALITION OPERATIONS

That's right. Five more morons and enemies of the United States and the rest of the world are deader than dead and I hope they revived them to kill them again. And, I hope their 72 virgins are gay Rotweillers.

From CENTCOM...the news source to find out the real deal
BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition forces killed five terrorists and detained two suspects Friday during operations targeting al-Qaeda networks throughout Iraq.
South of Tarmiyah, Coalition forces conducted an operation targeting associates of an al-Qaeda in Iraq network operating in the city. Intelligence reports indicate the network is known for car-bombing, improvised explosive device attacks and the facilitation of foreign terrorists. During the operation, surveillance elements observed a group of armed men move from the target building into nearby palm groves. As the ground force approached, the enemy opened fire from their defensive positions. Responding in self-defense, Coalition forces returned fire and called for supporting aircraft to engage the armed men, killing four terrorists, one of whom was wearing a suicide vest. As the ground force secured the area, they also discovered a small weapons cache which was safely destroyed on-site.
During an operation south of Baqubah, Coalition forces targeted and killed an al-Qaeda in Iraq improvised explosive device cell leader. Reports indicate he led a group of approximately 250 terrorists that emplaced IEDs and conducted attacks against Iraqi and Coalition forces. The terrorist acted as a judge for an illegal terrorist court system in the area. As the ground force cleared the target building, they discovered a woman in a room and directed her to get down.
The ground force was then engaged by an armed man and, responding in self-defense, they returned fire and killed the terrorist, who was the targeted individual. The woman was not harmed during the engagement and one suspect was detained.
Coalition forces detained one suspected terrorist north of Bayj during an operation to further disrupt al-Qaeda in Iraq.
Intelligence gained from a previous operation led the ground force to the target area. During that operation, Coalition forces captured an individual allegedly involved in the facilitation of foreign terrorists, false documentation and terrorist funds, and who is believed to have ties to Syrian-based extremists attempting to communicate with the al-Qaeda in Iraq senior leader Abu Ayyub al-Masri.
“Our operations are dismantling al-Qaeda in Iraq piece by piece,” said Maj. Winfield Danielson, MNF-I spokesman. “We will continue to take the fight to these terrorists so Iraqis can live in a safe and stable environment.”

A good AQ is a dead AQ.

The Chief Kosite Has Nothing To Brag About, Actually

This is the little blurb at the Blog Awards site. Too bad a Conservative Blogger beat them out of 1st place. The KOSmonoffs came in 4th, as it stands right now.

These cretins are a sad and fraudulent lot. they cannot even be honest in what they represent.

I have added my own comments in blue and bracketed.

Markos Moulitsas -- a.k.a. "kos" -- created Daily Kos on May 26, 2002, in those dark days when an oppressive and war-crazed administration suppressed all dissent as unpatriotic and treasonous. {Can you believe that pile of shiite? Ever notice how the faint of heart always prattle on and on with their opinions based in unsubstantiated silliness? Those "dark days"? What is this? SciFi? Greek Mythology? "In the land of the Soggy Bottomed Enchanted Forests of Galdergog...! LOL! please. Give THAT one a rest!} As a veteran, Moulitsas was offended that the freedoms he pledged his life for were so carelessly being tossed aside by the reckless and destructive Republican administration. {And here we go again with the emotional outreach to fellow ignorant imps. And, I, as a veteran am offended that the veteran called Kos has discarded his Oath Of Service in order to get millions of a fellow socialists money to rid the world of the United States Constitution that this pig called Kos theoretically once swore an oath to defend against. But, alas! I am not a veteran that can be spun by the child Kos so my words will be censored and bantered about as unkind. Double Standards bought and paid for by Socialist Soros.} Daily Kos has grown in those five years to the premier political community in the United States, with traffic of about 600,000 daily visits. {And, Kos, where did you get the funds to obtain this status? I question your patriotism, fool and I question your morality, fool. Oh. And, before you get too carried away with your daily visits tally. Why not tell everyone that even the New Media visits your retarded and shallow site to see what the enemy is up to? LOL!! Silly little people.} (Click on the rainbow box at the bottom of the page for up-to-date stats.) {Sweet. A rainbow. Is that why you were drummed out of the force? Just wondering.} Among luminaries posting diaries on the site are President Jimmy Carter, {nothing to brag about there, eh? The WORSE American President there ever was or may very well be. Carter is singularly responsible for the Iranian quagmire and he gave the Panama Canal away to whom? And you praise the fool?} Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, {the grand land fraud mouse of a man, the man that spits on our veterans and current fighting men and women, the imp that his own state hates, and you praise the fool?} Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, {the worse SoH that ever embarrassed this country as a whole, the violator of The Logan Act, the would-be President, the idiot that bemoans, attacks and belittles our military on every turn, and wants a United Socialist States of America, North, South and Central, that woman? And you praise this shallow elf of a cad?} and dozens of other senators, congressmen, and governors. {All socialistic in their thinking and takes illicit monies via illicit sources, all fueled and funded by the Socialist Soros? Those pigs and anti-Americanists? And you prais these coreless wonders?} But, even more exciting than that, tens of thousands of regular Americans have used Daily Kos to lend their voice to a political world once the domain of the rich, connected, and powerful. {You mean like Soros and others equally wealthy? But, we suppose it is OK for the wealthy that think as you do, you know, the ones in Hollyweird. I suppose the Double Standard there doesn't bother you one bit. Just the ones that are reaping the benefits of a Capitalist Society...oh...wait...Soros did that...never mind} Daily Kos is run by a staff of two -- Moulitsas and a programmer. {You forgot about the funds from Soros there, slick.} In 2007, parent company Kos Media, LLC began a fellowship program to help fund a new generation of progressive activists. {Oh, come on. Tell everyone the truth about exactly what a "progressive activist" is. Judas Priest, fool! Have some guts. Tell the truth for once in your life, you cowardly imp and useless blob of lies and deceit! Come out of your closet, little one. Be brave. Come on. Tell us what a "progressive" is. Too cowardly? Thought so.} About a dozen contributing editors contribute content for the site, with 3-4 new editors being chosen from the Daily Kos community every year. {And we all know what they are. Sallow little-minded wastes of life. Little whining titty babies sucking on the nipples of Soros. Got milk?}

Truly folks. The KOSmonoffs really have nothing to brag about.

Hillary's Corruption Never Ends.

It has been said that atheists can lie like a rug because they have no moral compunction that requires them to tell the truth.

"The beauty of being an atheist is that you have no moral reason to tell the truth. So Pete Stark can claim such outrageous (if stupidly worded) things about the President." MT from our private group

Along these lines, we find Hillary taking funds, once again, from questionable sources. One can be justified in questioning her ethics.

The Czarina has been recently exposed as an acceptor of fraudulent funds and has theoretically given the funds back. However, this does not absolve her or her campaign minions from the wrong doings. If it were to absolve them, one can extrapolate from that the following scenario: someone kills someone but didn't really know they did so, telling folks that you did kill someone, somehow absolves you from the consequences of your actions.

This is why we on the right often state the obvious: personal integrity and accepting responsibility for ones own actions is alien to the Leftinistra. When caught doing wrong, it is invariably someones else's fault or the blame is placed on something else.

As Sunlit Knight from a Newt One has often stated, as an example of the Leftinistra quagmire of self-induced idiocy:
"People don't make enough money so let's raise the minimum wage. That is like saying that all of the boats aren't the same height so let's add more water to the lake."
All raising the minimum wage does, as raising the water in the lake, is make the problems worse because there is no change. It is merely a feel-good action...someone can say that they did something and when that something does not have the affect imagined, it must be the fault of something or someone else.

Hillary has proclaimed her religiosity but her actions are quite opposite of that which she claims. Would a religious individual receive illegal contributions for the sake of political gain just to win an election? Isn't that hypocritical?

When questioned about such activities, the inquiring minds are accused of smearing and being mean-spirited or racially biased.

From the NY Post:
October 20, 2007 -- Hillary Clinton's campaign has been raising huge piles of money in Chinatown, but some of it has come from donors who can't be located or who were improperly repaid for their contributions, according to The Post and other reports.

A search of Chinatown donors yesterday by The Post found several bogus addresses and some contributions that raised eyebrows.

[...]

The Clinton campaign dismissed the L.A. Times story as derogatory to Chinese-Americans.

[...]
Dear Leftinistra...we don't but that kind of crap anymore. Even making that kind of lame claim will and does backfire on you in this day and age and it is high time that you try another tactic because this dog don't hunt no more.

It is high time that the self-alleged Higher Moral Authority within the Leftinistra to be held accountable to their lies.

However, like MT says:
"The beauty of being an atheist is that you have no moral reason to tell the truth. So Pete Stark can claim such outrageous (if stupidly worded) things about the President." MT from our private group

How true that is, eh?

There is also an editorial at IBD and it is dead nuts on target:
[...]

An ambitious presidential front-runner. A hot scramble for campaign cash. A corner-cutting past. And now red lights are flashing that she could be in hock to foreign interests. This is going downhill fast.

[...]
Naturally, this will be spun as some lame smear campaign because Hillary is such a nice person, even though she has been shown to be a budding Leninist and a Soros pawn.

Defeatism IS In Its Death Throes

There is a great article today at Townhall by Cliff May. The article takes two pages of electron distribution and is well worth the read. Therein, one will read the following:

[...]

Is it ignorance or partisanship that makes so many politicians and media moguls blind to what has been happening in Iraq over recent months? Do they really not understand the dramatic change in strategy implemented by Gen. David Petraeus, the new American commander in Iraq?

That key to that strategy, known as the “surge,” is not the number of troops deployed – though a minimum force size is necessary -- but rather how they are utilized. Col. Wayne W. Grigsby, Jr., who commands a “surge” brigade based in a mixed Sunni and Shia area near Baghdad, made it simple for me in a phone conversation this week: “We do not commute to work,” he said. “We live in the towns with the people we are here to help.”

That means providing them with security – gathering intelligence from them about where the terrorists are hiding, and then eliminating them, their safe havens, their bomb factories and their weapons caches. Do that and the bloodshed begins to subside.

“The Iraqi people are fed up with the violence and with the extremists, both Sunni and Shia,” Grigsby said. Far from “resisting” the American troops in their communities, “they want to join the fight and protect their neighborhoods. They are coming to us and saying, ‘How can we help? We don’t want to live like this.’”

[...]
The fact that the anti-Americanists haven't a clue what this war is about is all too painfully obvious. The mind melting monies offered by George Soros to corrupt the innocents cannot go unchallenged and defeated.

Unlike the days of the Vietnam War era "revolutionaries", we are here to counter the objectives of the mindless trolls that spew out and regurgitate ignorant rants as so dictated by the likes of The Head Troll In Charge Soros.

Even the pathetic SoH Pelosi knows deep down that her and the ill-fated rhetoric of her genre of socialists know they have lost yet continue to try and distract and confuse issues.
[...]

And now bin Laden has to choose: send his most capable lieutenants to try to reheat the insurgency in Iraq; or cede the battlefield to the Americans and the majority of Iraqis who have no interest either in blowing people up or embracing the al-Qaeda way of life.

The first course risks losing combatants who could otherwise be promoting al-Qaeda’s agenda in Hamburg or New Jersey. As for the second course, bin Laden has said that the “world war” raging in Iraq will end in “either victory and glory, or misery and humiliation.”

At this moment, al-Qaeda in Iraq seems likely to suffer the latter. Confronted by America’s adaptable, agile and courageous military forces, its only hope is divine intervention – and maybe the U.S. Congress.

[...]

The only way the United States can lose this war is if the Enemies Within our own government, which is funded and dictated to by the George Soros Traitor and seditious scoundrel, are able to wrangle defeat from the jaws of victory.

This isn't going to happen.

We will not let that happen.

Let's roll, shall we?

The Nuance Will Soar Over the Leftinistra

I received the below from a friend in my email, as part of our private group. I haven't spotted it on the blog but, HT to Right In A Left World anyway.
A good explanation of the difference between the party's came to me in a joke format once:

A young woman was about to finish her first year of college. She considered herself to be a very liberal Democrat, but her father was a staunch Republican.

One day she was challenging her father on his beliefs and his opposition to high taxes and welfare programs. He stopped her and asked how she was doing in school. She answered that she had a 4.0 GPA, but it was really tough.

She had to study all the time and never had time to go out and party. She didn't have time for a boyfriend and didn't really have many college friends because of spending all her time studying. On top of that, the part-time job her father insisted she keep left absolutely no time for anything else.

He asked, "How is your friend Mary?"

She replied that Mary was barely getting by. She had a 2.0 GPA, never studied, but was very popular on campus, didn't have a job, and went to all the parties. She was always complaining about not having any money, but didn't want to work. Why, she often didn't show up for classes because she was hung over.

Dad then asked his daughter why she didn't go to the Dean's office and request that 1.0 be taken off her 4.0 and given to her friend who only had a 2.0. That way they would both have a respectable 3.0 GPA. Then, she could also give her friend half the money she'd earned from her job so that her friend would no longer be broke.

The daughter angrily fired back, "That wouldn't be fair. I worked really hard for my grades and money, and Mary just loafs. Why should her laziness and irresponsibility be rewarded with half of what I've worked for?"

The father slowly smiled and said, "Welcome to the Republican Party."

Therein lies the difference, one of many, between the socialists and the Capitalists.

Now you can share the bare essentials of Islam with friends, even those without internet access. What You Need To Know About Islam is a four page [13KB] pdf file which contains the most essential ayat, ahadith & fiqh which establish beyond doubt the interminably mercenary & martial nature of Islam. It will only use two sheets of paper if you print on both sides.

Troll J.B. Poersch Exposes ITS Stupidity

No wonder the DNC likes this guy. Even when and after the SCHIP quagmire of hiding behind a child and using the family as a screen for their untoward attempt to pull the wool over the eyes of the American People was exposed, this idiot continues on with the usual disingenuous and retarded rhetoric, reminiscent of a spoiled brat, repeating their lies.

I received an email from a friend for my amusement and to post. This is the email forwarded to me. I shall rip this apart because it is all too easy. Trolls are trolls no matter their level of involvement within the rank and file of the Leftinistra.

It's the GOP Deceit of the Week

Republicans sliming and swiftboating should come as no surprise, but picking on a middle school student is low - even for the GOP.
Read the above as follows: those damn right wing bloggers sure got the goods on us and we must find a way to spin this incident and blame someone else because we got caught lying, didn't do our homework on this family and now, the American people know without a doubt that this whole SCHIP deal is a major scam.

We tried to convince everyone that 80% of the people wanted this but we didn't tell all...they want it AFTER the scam is fixed.

The Kentucky press has been reporting on a story involving an aide for Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell who was spreading false rumors about a 12-year-old boy and his family. Then when McConnell was asked about the incident, he failed to set the record straight.
Read the above as follows: Mitch won't play fairly and won't bow to our pressures because that damn Silent Majority isn't silent anymore and there are way too many of them and they have infiltrated our ranks and we can no longer keep any secrets from anyone.

DAMN the luck!!

The 12-year-old bravely advocated for S-CHIP, the Children's Health Insurance Program that provided much-needed health care coverage for him and his sister after a car crash. McConnell has already voted twice to block S-CHIP, and then his aide was trying to drag a kid's name through the mud in a failed attempt to further make his point.

Sen. McConnell should know to pick on someone his own size.
Read the above as follows: waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!! We got caught with our knickers down and we got spanked and exposed for what we are...liars and frauds. Next time, we will have to do a better job at finding a family that CANNOT afford anything. Why won't the others let us have our own way that we have enjoyed all these years! WHY??

Open season

The last time the open-seat Senate numbers looked this good for Democrats was in 1958.
Read the above as follows: we are frothing at the mouth and it has been so long since we had control over the American people that we cannot afford to lose this next election cycle. If we do, we won't be in the White house for another 30+ years. If that happens, I will wet myself and soil my panties.

New Mexico Sen. Pete Domenici recently announced his retirement, marking the fifth GOP senator to opt against re-election in '08. Another open seat means another chance for a pick-up with no incumbent standing in our way. There will be a Republican primary though, and voters will have an unfortunate choice to make.
Read the above as follows: there is no one better than us at lies, deceit and smear campaigns. We are the Masters of it but we have to careful. The Silent Majority is speaking up but we still think they are really stupid. We must carefully weigh in and hope to Satan that we can prey on the emotions of the weak-kneed slow in intellect people and defeat any Conservative that tries to jump in and screw things up for us.

Rep. Heather Wilson is Republican candidate #1. She's voted for Big-Oil tax breaks, rejected the 9/11 committee recommendations, and voted 4 times this year against troop withdrawal in Iraq. Not surprisingly, she votes with Bush 85 percent of the time.
Read the above as follows: if the United States wins this war, we are all sunk and that Abyss of Obscurity that that damnable Snooper keeps yapping about will become an actuality.

But Rep. Steve Pearce, GOP candidate #2, will do you one better. At least 93 percent of the time, this right-winger votes with the president. Both Republican candidates are in a race for who can be more loyal to George W. Bush.
Read the above as follows: the guy that we have said time and time again as being the most stupid guy ever in the White House has outmaneuvered us, outsmarted us and outgunned us at every turn and now we really look stupid. Not that we are because we are perfect and have never made any errors that we couldn't successfully blame someone else for.

In short, the above mentioned folks are a major danger to us and we must succeed at smearing them really bad.

To quit or not to quit

There's stick-to-itiveness and then there's Republican Mike Johanns. When he threw his hat in the ring for the Nebraska Senate race, some seemed surprised that Johanns would depart from the Bush administration at such a critical time. After all, agriculture means a lot to Nebraskans and he skipped out before finishing the Farm Bill.

But anyone who knows anything about Mike Johanns would realize he has played leap-frog from one post to the next, never finishing a job he was elected to do. He's bailed as governor, mayor, city councilmember and now as Secretary of Agriculture for George W. Bush.

Mike Johanns will trample over the needs of his constituents in a rush to his next career move, and the DSCC's media response project has launched a new ad to remind Nebraskans of his disappointing, unreliable record.
Read the above as follows: Even though this guy shows us up at every turn also, we must continue with the lies and deception we are so damn good at!

Tim Johnson's all in

Just moments ago, Sen. Tim Johnson announced that he is running for re-election, rounding out a full ballot of Democratic incumbents in the Senate.

All of our senators are now waging re-election bids, while Republicans have to defend 22 seats in the Senate, including fielding candidates in 5 states where their incumbents won't run again.

Backed by 11 fellow Democratic incumbents, Sen. Johnson is hitting the campaign trail in South Dakota. And he's ready to win.
Read the above as follows: THIS guy is a TRUE socialist and will be GREAT at pulling wool and we cannot afford for the skeletons (and boy are there ever some) from falling out of the cages in the attic...the closets are too small. We must get the True Americans, the far left-wing moonbats of the fruit loop brigades to get on board with these folks so we must paint a pretty picture that they are as anti-American as they are.

Former governor, future senator

These are the kind of poll numbers I love to see.

New Hampshire candidate for Senate Jeanne Shaheen, a former 3-term governor, leads GOP incumbent John Sununu 54-38, according to a poll released this month. Shaheen is running a top-notch campaign in a state hungry for change.

In Virginia, a poll released this week shows former Gov. Mark Warner leading either of his likely opponents by 24 points. Whether he runs against Jim Gilmore or Tom Davis, the Democrat is favored 51-27.

Our opponents in New Hampshire and Virginia are buried in the polls, and it's the DSCC's job to make sure they're not digging their way out.
Read the above as follows: our Komrade, George Soros, is pouring millions into buying the Presidency and we will do our part to ensure that those damn Constitutionalists are buried. We are in the process of buying the poll results we so desire. After all, we blow with the wind and we must ensure that the wind blows in the direction we need it to blow.

We can no longer rely on the RINOs that Soros bought because they might redevelop a spine and moral fortitude and Satan knows that we cannot have anyone of substance in Congress. That way, in about 6 to 8 years, we can finally have the Utopian Society that we all want. we will have all the money and those idiots that trusted us will be like the poor slogs in THE old USSR.

Even though Utopia actually means No Place, it sure sounds good.

The power of one (million)

The rubber has hit the road in the third quarter for a bunch of our candidates as fundraising numbers have just crossed my desk. Rep. Mark Udall in Colorado, Sen. Tom Harkin in Iowa, Sen. Max Baucus in Montana, and former Gov. Mark Warner in Virginia all raised $1 million in just one fiscal quarter. This is no small feat.

Democratic candidates are working hard to raise the money it takes to silence the GOP spin, but the DSCC needs to be there with grassroots support and instant response ads to answer every underhanded attack.

Because even when the numbers look good, we know that the fight isn't over until Election Day.
Read the above as follows: LOL!! Little does anyone know but the funds are coming from George Soros, illegally but the filters in place will take years to decipher and by then, it will be too late. We just have to be sure that the 2nd Amendment is nullified and all weapons confiscated. We don't have what it takes to fight 100+ million gun owners. Can you imagine if we had to like, actually have to fight someone? Good Satan below us all!

It will be much better for all of us to lie and cheat our way into power because honesty and personal integrity just makes life harder for everyone.

Let's keep it up,

J.B. Poersch, Moron, PhD BS

Foolishness and Senator Reid...Synonymous Terms

The retarded letter to 'destroy" El Rushbo has raised millions to benefit True American Heroes.

OK. The Reid Letter. Seeing that ReidCos' constituency in his own state of Nevada cannot stomach the thought of the ignorant fool, he continues to revel in obscurity by taking credit for the $2,100,1000.00 letter intended to sink Rush. Rush has matched the $2,100,100.00 raised bringing the total to $4,200,200.00 being donated to the families of Marines and First Responders that have given their lives in the name of God, Country and Flag.

The only thing, in this regard, that Dingy Harry can remotely take credit for is his own personal stupidity. He needs to fire his public relations morons. He and they or both together, tried to make an issue out of a non-issue for retaliation of the failed and internationally embarrassing of the Soros funded MoveOn ad which backfired and got the proponents thereof filthy dirty.

Reid needs to retire into the Abyss of Obscurity before we throw him into it.

El Rushbo had this to say to address Reid's "udder" and blatant ignorance:

"There's a way to translate Harry Reid's Senate floor speech today: 'Rush, you win.'"

"Senator Reid, let me be clear about this one more time: it wasn't your letter that raised this money -- it was your abuse of power."

"Harry Reid said, 'We didn't have time, or we could have gotten every Senator to sign the letter.' Just write another letter and have the remaining senators sign it -- we'll put it back on eBay and do it all over again!"
Reid, is a moron. Instead of apologizing to the American people for the failed attempt of "censoring" a PRIVATE citizen for speaking his mind about a verified and confirmed phony soldier, the tiny-minded flake tries to employ the usual troll distraction technique and passing the blame of failure onto someone or something else.

Personal responsibility to trolls like ReidCo is an alien concept. They talk the talk but are incapable of walking the walk.

Simply amazing. here we are in the middle of a war for our survival as a nation and idiots like Reid try every day and at every opportunity to ensure our defeat.

That is as unAmerican as anyone can GET AND YES, I DO CHALLENGE THEIR PATRIOTISM!!

Emory University Fraud...The Unraveling Of Closely Held Secrets

In my impromptu alliance with Proprietor Nation in investigating and exposing the plethora of bilking the federal government of untold millions of tax payer's money perpetrated by Emory University, Proprietor Nation brings my readers the following article:

Emory University: Unraveling Sealed Records

Rather than await a court order, Emory and Grady ought to open the records for public inspection immediately. Emory, which supplies most of the attending physicians and residents-in-training at Grady, has already indicated it is willing for the full file to be unsealed if Murtagh, who no longer is employed by Emory, agrees.

Grady, which turned down Shafer's request for the records several weeks ago, should follow suit. If Grady is concerned that patient records might become public as a result, it can ask that those specific records be exempted or redacted.

Murtagh apparently sued Emory and Grady several times in 2000, alleging, among other things, that Emory broke a deal to name him chief of the pulmonary department. He also alleged that Emory and Grady conspired to defraud Medicare and Medicaid in how the two government health insurance programs compensated Grady and the medical school doctors for patient care at the hospital. Murtagh said he was cooperating with federal investigators, but no apparent federal action was taken against Grady or the medical school.

In response, Kent Alexander and Tim Jefferson, both legal counsels for Grady and Emory, wrote this

The AJC's Oct. 5 editorial "Come clean on lawsuit" resurrects (and misstates) old charges of conspiring to misuse government funds, charges the government reviewed seven years ago and declined to pursue. This has the devastating effect of casting public suspicion on two entities -- Grady Memorial Hospital and Emory University -- that are working together in an increasingly challenging environment to meet the health needs of the most vulnerable members of our society.

The editorial surprisingly calls on Emory and Grady to open the sealed settlement and court records in a case involving Dr. James Murtagh. For the record, Emory and Grady did not move to seal the record; Murtagh did. Emory had already supported unsealing the proceedings -- the complete, entire record -- as had Grady. We simply awaited the doctor and court's approval.Judge Wendy Shoob has since unsealed the record, which is now of course fully open to the public. The real victim in all of this is Grady, the largest public health hospital in the Southeast. Grady is struggling to survive while misinformation circulates that, unintentionally or intentionally, diverts attention from the real issues.

Now, what they are talking about is a settlement between Dr. James Murtagh, former professor of pulmonology (anything related to the lungs) at Emory, and on staff at Grady for several years and at the V.A. hospital for another year. Now, I have already discussed in some detail the kind of corruption at both hospitals that lead to patients being taken care of by medical students with no supervision. What Dr. Murtagh alleged actually happened several years prior in the late 1990's.

Now, a couple months ago State Senator David Shafer was alerted to the settlement between Murtagh and Emory and he lead a group of six senators to unseal the records. Besides the incendiary nature of Murtagh's charges, Grady was one of the defendants in the case. If they settled and paid Murtagh then since Grady is a public hospital tax payer money was used. Here is how he saw it.

I have not yet seen any of the newly unsealed documents but the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting that Grady and Emory agreed to pay Dr. Murtagh the whopping sum of $1.6 million to settle his original whistleblower retaliation claims in 2001.

If Dr. Murtagh’s allegations were completely unfounded, why was he paid a single penny, let alone $1.6 million?

There are a couple errors in the AJC story. The documents unsealed today were from a case filed in late 2004 and pending until very recently, not the original whistleblower case settled in 2001. The more recent case was litigated under seal not at Dr. Murtagh’s request but because the 2001 settlement agreement required it.

Well, in fact Murtagh was paid $1.6 million,

defraud the U.S. government of millions of dollars through an improper use of federal funds in compensating Emory and Grady employees. Grady is a teaching
hospital where most Emory medical students are trained.

During the hearing on unsealing the case Friday, Emory and Grady attorneys denied that the facilities had done anything wrong.

While the entire case file was not available Friday, comments during the hearing and some Emory court papers shed some light on the case.

The two facilities entered into a settlement in 2001 that paid Murtagh and his attorneys about $1.6 million over 10 years. He has received about $550,000 so far. Emory paid the lion's share of the settlement with Grady contributing about $100,000.

While the sheer number of the settlement should raise all eyebrows especially when it is coupled with what I have reported about whistleblower and former medical student Kevin Kuritzky and and what I found from Dr. Samuel Newcom (who is also now under gag order though he wrote this beforehand), what is really interesting and not being reported is the details of the agreement.

I have been able to also see the settlement agreement and, besides paying Murtagh $1.6 million, which incidentally was to be spread over about ten years, the two parties agreed to a total blackout. Neither side was to speak to anyone. In fact, even if Dr. Murtagh was supboenad before testifying he had to get the judge's permission to testify and allow time for his testimony to be squashed. In other words, Murtagh was paid a big sum of money and he has been incommunicado ever since. Now, where I come from that is called hush money.

Thus, first when Alexander and Jefferson wrote that reply to the AJC editorial, it appears to this non lawyer that they were themselves violating the terms of the deal. Second, when they claimed that it was Murtagh that wanted the records sealed, they picked an easy target since they knew that he couldn't speak or risk jail. Third, and most importantly their assertion that it was Murtagh that fought to keep the records sealed defies all logic. Murtagh alleged all sorts of dastardly deeds by his employer. He was retaliated against, and then he sued. The suit was settled which included him getting a seven figure payout and a total blackout on both sides.

Now, in order to believe that Murtagh is the one that wants this kept quiet, one would need to believe that not only did Emory and Grady agree to pay him $1.6 million but he also got them to agree to keep quiet about the case. I know how hush money works, and one person is paid and that same person is told to be quiet. Thus, when Jefferson and Alexander claim that their side wanted the records unsealed all along, not only are they most likely violating the very agreement they signed, but they are being totally disingenuous.

Of course, Emory is more that welcome to respond and I do believe they know about my blog.

Incidentally, if you want to hear Kuritzky in his own words follow the link and play the audio

This is a continuation of very ugly wrongs in regards to improper and quite possibly illegal health care of many patients, among those, veterans which served this country. There can be no spin or explanations acceptable as to the driving force of financial gain at the expense at proper medical care.

Heads need to roll and prison is in order for those responsible for this home-grown travesty.

Period.

Michael Yon...This Week In War and Achievments of the Human Heart

What would we do without these men reporting from the front? Do what our parents did in the late 1960s and early 1970s? Listening the the Lame Stream Losers?

Michael on “This Week at War”

Overwatch: British Forces in southern Iraq are transitioning to a mission defined more by overwatch, training Iraqi forces and patrolling the Iranian border.

Michael was interviewed from Basra, Iraq as part of a segment entitled “The British Troop Drawdown: Can the Iraqis control Basra?” Also featured in this segment was Nic Robertson, CNN Senior International Correspondent, reporting from Baghdad. The October 13th broadcast of CNN’s “This Week at War” aired on Saturday at 7pm Eastern and was re-broadcast on Sunday, October 14th at 1pm Eastern.

Achievements of the Human Heart

Achievements of the Human Heart

When the 1-4 CAV first arrived to set up COP Amanche, the neighorbood looked beyond hope.

On April 30, 2007, I published the conclusion of a two-part dispatch, Desires of the Human Heart, about the efforts of the 1-4 CAV to transform an abandoned seminary into COP Amanche, an outpost in a Baghdad neighborhood that had been all but deserted after more than a year of sectarian violence. One of the last photographs, shown below, depicted the 1-4 Commander, LTC James Crider, looking out over the compound which his soldiers had managed to make operational over the course of a single weekend. I captioned the photograph with this modestly optimistic thought:

Continuing the Exposing of the Socialist Elitist Soros...UPDATE

UPDATE specifics are at the end of this post. It is along the lines of George Soros, via illegal campaign "secreted contributions" to stack the bloggers up and it is being referred to as Hillary's Bloggergate via Media Matters. Go figure.

Mike at Proprietor Nation has yet another well presented "argument" as we, together, continue the re-education of the American People the dangers this tiny man Soros is up to while he pretends to be on the side of the little guy.

E.N.D.A. To Move Through the Legislature?

A hat tip goes to Right March for bringing this story to my attention. The Employment Non Discrimination Act may find its way through the Congress soon. ENDA seeks to make gays, bisexuals, and transgenders a minority and treat their discrimination in the work place in the same manner that we currently treat age, sex, and skin color.

Now, according to this gay publication here is what Nancy Pelosi promised their lobby.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi agreed Friday to fast-track a transgender-inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act once there are enough votes to pass it.

Although a version of the bill that protects only sexual orientation will be marked up by committee and move to a floor vote next week, the San Francisco Democrat has promised to hold a floor vote on a fully inclusive ENDA without delay as soon as the political support is there.

According to Right March, the bill is making its way through House Education and Labor Comittees. The problems with such a bill are plentiful. For instance, while it protects religious organizations, it does not protect groups like the Boy Scouts. If this bill passes the Scouts may very well be force to hire openly gay scouts or face sanctions. It also violates people's freedom of religion and freedom of speech. Finally, and most importantly, homosexuality is a behavior which is totally different from someone else's skin color, age, or sex.

Let's put aside the wisdom or lack thereof of this bill. I think most people that read this page will agree with me on my position.

Instead, I want to focus on two things related to this bill. First there is the political tone deafness and utter lack of competence that the Democratic leadership continues to show. This bill is another in a long line of bills that has either been handled poorly or is simply a total political loser for them. Whatever your beliefs on this particular bill, most Americans will reject it. In fact, short of SCHIP, I can't remember the last thing the Democrats did that works for them politically.

Let's look at some examples. The Democrats tried to pass a NON BINDING resolution that condemned an act from almost one hundred years ago. As a result, our ally, the Turks, took great offense and threatened all sorts of diplomatic retaliation. Fortunately, critical mass was reached when this story saw the light of day and the bill was withdrawn. Also, A high school student wanted to include the word God in a message to his grandfather that accompanied a flag that he wanted flown over the Capitol. Initially, Nancy Pelosi resisted allowing the word God accompany the flag, however once again critical mass was reached. Finally, the leadership backed down and they let the word God stay in the message that accompanied the flag.

In August, the Senate tried to play chicken with the President on the terrorist surveillance program (known as warrantless wiretaps to most of you). Again, the leadership backed down at the last minute and extended the program for six more months. Just this past week, a bill that would outlaw sanctuary cities, something that is popular overwhelmingly with Americans, was voted down 52-42 in the Senate. All but one Democrat voted against it. Even on Iraq, the Democrats have been totally politically tone deaf and incompetent.

Which brings me back to the ENDA bill. This is another in a long line of political disasters for the Democrats. Once critical mass reaches on this bill, they will be forced to back down the way they have on everything else.

This brings me to my second point. It is now nothing less than shocking just how much the Democrat's agenda mirrors that of George Soros. This ENDA bill is right down his gay friendly secular progressive agenda, and it follows a long line of bills and maneuvers that are very friendly to his agenda.

Several months ago, The Supreme Court ruled to uphold a ban on partial birth abortion. All the Democratic candidates came out against this ruling and some even swore to impose a litmus test of only pro abortion Supreme Court Justices.

At their last debate, the Democratic candidates agreed that teaching second graders a story about a gay couple was perfectly acceptable. Half the candidates refused to even acknowledge that the war on terror is really a war. Here is what Soros said vis a vis the GWOT.

Unfortunately, the "war on terror" metaphor was uncritically accepted by the American public as the obvious response to 9/11. It is now widely admitted that the invasion of Iraq was a blunder. But the war on terror remains the frame into which American policy has to fit. Most Democratic politicians subscribe to it for fear of being tagged as weak on defense.

In fact, this statement is eerily similar to one made by John Edwards who called the war on terror...

"bumper sticker slogan" used to justify the war in Iraq and "bludgeon political opponents."

The two leading Presidential said they'd each negotiate with Iran with no conditions. What did Soros say about such matters?

President Bush's global war on terror prevents us from differentiating between them and dealing with them accordingly. It inhibits much-needed negotiations with Iran and Syria because they are states that support terrorist groups.

In fact, when Senator Clinton voted to designate the Iranian Revolutionary Guards( responsible for among other things hijacking British sailors in international water) a terrorist organization, the rest of the Democratic Presidential contender pounced on her.

Even on the economy, the Democrats are marching in lock step with Soros. We are all well aware of the plethora of big government, quasi socialist, government giveaways. Including the granddaddy of them all, universal health care. How does this jive with Soros' view of the world? He believes in a "mixed economy". That is defined as such.

A mixed economy is an economic system that incorporates the characteristics of several different economic systems. This usually means an economy that contains both private-owned and state-owned enterprises[1] or that combines elements of capitalism and socialism, or a mix of market economy and planned economy characteristics

Of course, it should be pointed out which part of the mixed economy he fears.

Most of all, George believed even then in a mixed economy, one with a strong central international government to correct for the excesses of self-interest.

Thus, anything that takes the decisions away from the market and puts it into the government's hands is something that Soros approves of.

Finally, as I mentioned earlier, in unison with Soros open borders policy, the Democrats just this week killed a bill that would have outlawed so called sanctuary cities. Now, we have the Democrats, through ENDA, pandering to another of Soros' favorite groups, the homosexuals. The overlapping agendas of the Democrats and George Soros can be found just about anywhere you look.

Keep track of these posts and pay attention to that which is going on around you. Check the facts out as you see fit. Don't make us come back and say, "We told you so."

[UPDATE]: This is too "rich"!!
Newsmax:

Call it "Bloggergate" the subversion of the blogosphere by Democrat money.

To be more precise, Bloggergate is the subsidizing of left-wing bloggers with illegal Democrat campaign contributions, laundered through ostensibly "non-partisan" non-profit groups.

At a convention of left-wing bloggers last summer, Hillary Clinton announced, "We are . . . putting together a network in the blogosphere."

Her remarks became public only three weeks ago, on Oct. 2, when an anonymous person posted a shaky, hand-held videotape of her speech on YouTube. In it, Hillary bragged that she had helped create "institutions" which had produced a left-wing "network in the blogosphere" capable of "matching" the alleged "advantage of the other side."

Hillary's claim raises troubling questions. On a practical level, just how exactly does a U.S. senator go about exerting her power to stack the blogosphere in her favor?

One obvious method is to buy favorable coverage. Hillary's boast carries a strong implication that she has subsidized bloggers.

The first evidence of Bloggergate emerged in January 2005 when the two most prominent left-wing bloggers on the Internet "Jerome The Blogfather" Armstrong of MyDD and DailyKos founder Markos Moulitsas Zu'iga both admitted to getting cash from Howard Dean's presidential campaign.

The scandal heated up in October 2006, when Republican blogger Michael B. Brodkorb of Minnesota, assailed by piranha-like swarms of leftist bloggers, revealed that his tormentors were on the take; that is, that they had been getting generous cash "fellowships" from an outfit called the Center for Independent Media (CIM). At that time, CIM was working from an office in Washington, DC owned by the Democrat front group Media Matters for America, Brodkorb discovered.

Curiously, it turns out that the co-founders of CIM, David S. Bennahum and Alexandra Savino, are both Media Matters alumni. Mr. Bennahum helped found Media Matters, serving as one of its original senior fellows. Miss Savino worked for Media Matters as a blogosphere analyst.

Clinton Claims

Now Bloggergate has spun into overdrive with Hillary Clinton's revelation, from her own lips, that she helped "start" and "support" Media Matters.

After all these years, can it be that we have finally identified the source of the Bloggergate money stream? Can it be that leaders of the leftwing blogosphere suck their nourishment directly from the swollen teat of Senator Clinton's pendulous fundraising apparatus?

Hillary made her admission at the Aug. 4, 2006 YearlyKos Convention in Chicago. Here is what she said on the now-infamous YouTube video: "I would wish that we had this active and fighting a blogosphere about 15 years ago, because we have certainly suffered over the last years from a real imbalance in the political world in our country, but we are righting that balance or lefting that balance. I'm not sure which, and certainly are better prepared and more focused on taking our arguments and making them effective and disseminating them widely and really putting together a network in the blogosphere."

"In a lot of the new progressive infrastructure, institutions that I helped to start and support like Media Matters and Center for American Progress, we're beginning to match what I had said for years was the advantage of the other side.

In plain English, Hillary is saying that she "helped start and support" certain institutions tasked with correcting an alleged "imbalance" between right-wing and left-wing media. These institutions form a part of what Hillary calls "a new progressive infrastructure." According to Hillary, the "infrastructure" she "helped" build has given rise to a left-wing "network in the blogosphere" capable of "matching" the "advantage of the other side."

In this regard, she names two institutions specifically; Media Matters for America and the Center for American Progress.

My co-author David Horowitz and I described the peculiar relationship between these two groups in our book "The Shadow Party: How George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Sixties Radicals Siezed Control of the Democratic Party."

We noted that the Center for American Progress was founded in July 2003 by billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, working closely with Morton Halperin, director of U.S. advocacy for Soros' Open Society Institute. The two men appointed former Clinton White House Chief of Staff John Podesta to be president and CEO of the Center, and brought in Harold Ickes "chief fundraiser and former deputy chief of staff for the Clinton White House" to help organize it.

Noting the heavy involvement of Clintonites with the Center for American Progress, leftist writer Robert Dreyfuss remarked in the March 1, 2004 edition of The Nation: "In looking at Podesta's center there's no escaping the imprint of the Clintons. It's not completely wrong to see it as a shadow government, a kind of Clinton White-House-in-exile or a White House staff in readiness for President Hillary Clinton.

Eerily foreshadowing her later comments on YouTube, Hillary told The Nation's Dreyfuss, "We've had the challenge of filling a void on our side of the ledger for a long time, while the other side created an infrastructure that has come to dominate political discourse. The Center is a welcome effort to fill that void."

In 2004, the Center for American Progress launched a new organization called Media Matters for America, headed by David Brock, a former conservative journalist who had turned to the left. The stated mission of Media Matters was to serve as a "watchdog" for conservative bias in media. The New York Times reported on May 3, 2004: "Mr. Brock's project was developed with help from the newly formed Center for American Progress . . . Podesta has loaned office space in the past to Mr. Brock and introduced him to potential donors.

"Mr. Brock . . . has also spoken with Senator Clinton, Senator Tom Daschle of South Dakota and former vice president Al Gore about his project . . ."

Push to Ban Rush

No sooner had Media Matters opened for business, than Brock began pressuring Congress to ban Rush Limbaugh from American Forces Radio and Television Service an effort which continues to this day.

Much like a yeast colony, in which each bud of yeast sprouts new buds, which in turn sprout buds of their own, the Center for American Progress spawned Media Matters, which has now begun spawning offshoots of its own. One of these offshoots is the Center for Independent Media (CIM). Launched in April 2006, it initially worked from an office owned by Media Matters at 1625 Massachusetts Avenue N.W., 3rd Floor, Washington DC.

Through a system of media "fellowships," CIM recruits, trains, directs and finances a veritable army of leftwing bloggers, all subsidized by the U.S. taxpayer, thanks to the Center's 501(c)(3) tax-free status.

According to the Center's "New Journalist" fellowship application, CIM offers bloggers a three-month, renewable fellowship which includes such perks as "a stipend of $4,500 to be paid over three months," "editorial mentorship from experts in the field of blogging and/or journalism," access to expensive databases such as LexisNexis, as well as free legal advice, training, and technical support.

Because CIM fellowships expire after three months, CIM "fellows" are always on the hot seat. If CIM is satisfied with the blogger's performance, it will renew his fellowship. Otherwise, it will not. Plainly, CIM bloggers have much to gain if they toe the party line and much to lose if they fail to satisfy their benefactors.

CIM does not publish a full list of its bloggers. We can only speculate on their number. However, the CIM Web site does provide a "select" list of some of its more prominent "fellows."

Federal law prohibits national political candidates such as Hillary Clinton from using 501(c)3 tax-free, non-profit organizations such as the Center for American Progress, Media Matters for America and the Center for Independent Media as vehicles for campaign propaganda.

In this, as in so many other matters, Sen. Clinton has conducted herself as if she is above the law. And perhaps she is.

It remains to be seen whether the IRS and the Federal Election Commission will blow the whistle on Hillary's army of paid bloggers. Who knows? They just might. But I'm not holding my breath.

Interesting. Very interesting, eh?
