This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

Why I Will Not Support Newt Gingrich

The ex Speaker of the House exposed his hypocrisy in an article at Human Events. I thank my friend theway2k for posting a link to the Gingrich screed in
Who is at War with America?

On Terrorism it's Time to Know, to Profile, and to Discriminate by Newt Gingrich 12/30/2009

We know our opponents are radical extremists of the irreconcilable wing of Islam (Islamists, some would call them).

We know they have an ideology which is anti-female, desires to impose fundamentalist Sharia as a form of law, is hostile to other religions and is prepared to kill the innocent to achieve their goals.

Like G.W. Bush, John McCain, Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama, Newt knows something that is untrue. Our opponent is Islam. Islam's canon of scripture, tradition & jurisprudence contains demonic injunctions to make war upon disbelievers. Islamic aggression flows directly from its scripture, tradition & jurisprudence. Islam is fundamentally and irreversibly incompatible with liberty & democracy.

Islam is paternalistic & misogynistic by design. Global imposition of Shari'ah is part of the grand design, not an innovation. Islam is not just hostile to Judaism, Christianity & Zoroastrianism, it is engaged in perpetual warfare against them.

Newt's article included seven thematic headings which deserve some attention.
  • Our Politically Correct Government is Making Life More Miserable For the Innocent
It is true, p.c. policy imposes a great burden on innocent travelers and puts them at risk.
  • It’s Time to Be Honest About What We Know
Really, its long overdue. But the quotes included above indicate that Newt is part of the problem, not part of the solution.
  • Protecting the Rights of Terrorists Has Been More Important than Protecting the Lives of Americans
While that statement appears strident at first glance, it is an understatement. Three thousand lives might have been saved if the investigators had properly inspected the contents of one terrorist's computer. We need to scan, interrogate and search Muslims, not innocent citizens. Careful background checks are needed to identify them well in advance.
  • The United States Must Actively Root Out Every Terrorist Website
I don't believe it is possible to root them out, and I am not convinced that it is desirable. As soon as one is pulled down, they'll replace it with another. Those sites can serve as a source of actionable intelligence if properly exploited.
  • We Need a “Grand National Strategy” That is Bigger Than the Debate Over Afghanistan
We needed a strategy eight years ago. We needed to honestly identify the enemy first. That need has not been met yet.
  • The New Honesty Should End Any Thought of a Civilian Trial in New York for KSM
If there was any new honesty, it would come too late to derail that trial. But there is no new honesty, and it is unlikely that there ever will be official honesty concerning Islam and terrorism.
  • We Need a New Homeland Security Secretary Who Knows We Need a New Strategy
That is a grand statement of the obvious. But we also need a Commander In Chief with the same knowledge. Newt Gingrich has identified a real need: official honesty in identifying and characterizing the enemy. But instead of promoting it, he has continued the politically correct practice of implying that mythical 'radical extremists' are the cause of terrorism.

In reality, believers of orthodox Islamic doctrine are responsible for terrorism. The Qur'an commands Jihad imperatives which require perpetual war. Those imperatives are in 8:39, 8:60, 9:29 & 9:123. Those imperatives are confirmed by hadith including Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387. Those imperatives are codified into Islamic law in Reliance of the Traveler O9.8 & O9.9. Terrorism is sanctified in 3:151, commanded in 8:12, exemplified in 33:26 and confirmed in Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220. The new honesty Newt calls for involves acknowledging the fatal fact documented in this paragraph. It is extremely unlikely that any candidate for high office will fully engage in such honesty.

Any politician who publicly identifies Islam as the source of Islamic terrorism and genocidal Jihad will be labeled racist & bigot. Which one of them has the SISU required to state the facts and pound home the proof? Who can withstand the Islamic & Democrat Party propaganda mills and mainstream media? We have two years in which to find such a hero. It appears that Newt is not the one. Sarah Palin has already proved herself too p.c. My bet is on Tom Tancredo.

Obama Lacks the Character and Temperament To Be President and Biden Is Simply A Token Hack

~Snooper~

This piece is in rebuttal to the completely off the wall and over the top piece penned by Chistopher Hitchens at Slate. Buzz on this is at Memeorandum...

John McCain has more character in the dirt between his toes after walking through a rice paddy than Obama will ever dream of having. As a matter of fact, Obama has no character whatsoever. Christopher Hitchens will never be able to hold a candle to Barack Obama and Barack Obama is a mental midget in comparison to John McCain. Period.

He suffers from PDS - Palin Derangement Syndrome - and McCDS - McCain Derangement Syndrome. It is indeed pathetic to say the least. Sorry to burst his bubble but the stench coming from it needs to be eliminated.

I so love how people like Chrissy ramble on like good libtards do. They spew vitriolic hatred without any substantiation to their lame claims. Behold:
[...] And the only public events that have so far featured his absurd choice of running mate have shown her to be a deceiving and unscrupulous woman utterly unversed in any of the needful political discourses but easily trained to utter preposterous lies and to appeal to the basest element of her audience. [...]
Ummmm...what "lies" might that be, silly boy? What "needful political discourses" would that be, lad? At the VP debate, Sarah Palin mopped the floor with Biden. The photo to the left was Biden's view point right after the debate ended.

Character? You say Obama has more character than McCain? Are you daft? Obama has been proven to be a liar and his dismal record in the duty of public office in the Illinois Senate and the US Senate is laughable. What has he accomplished in life to elevate his character above that of a gnat's anal aperture?

The rest of that waste of verbiage Chrissy penned is equally inane as that which I cited. Chrissy has always been a glorified moonbat and anything he has to say about anything has always been suspect.

Obama has more character than McCain? PHFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFT! Idiot.

I wonder if this Chrissy upstart is going to move off of the Earth like what's her face of SNL when McCain-Palin take the White House. If so, I will help them relocate.

Why John McCain Can Still Win?

~Snooper~

If one reads the various blog posts, articles and the All Not Knowing Pollsters, the designed conclusion is that All Is Lost. Sounds a lot like Harry Reid, doesn't it? For me, the reason John McCain can still win is Sarah Palin. However, that is not the only reason. There are many reasons. Also, I refuse to join the rank and file of those that are talking like Harry Reid. I mean, come on people. Do you really want to be classified in the same context of Harry Reid?

From Wizbang:
[...] I wrote Friday about the fact that in seven of the last eighteen presidential elections - 38.9% - the polls were wrong by a big margin on the race, and so even a big lead for one candidate does not guarantee diddly. I have discussed the principles of statistics to show why the present polls have a critical flaw somewhere in their methodology, since the results are not in line with the confidence criteria. But there's another way to take apart a poll to see whether it is useful as a barometer for opinion.

The widest lead enjoyed by Obama in the major polls Friday, was the Gallup Daily Tracking Poll. Gallup has been in the business longer than anyone else still doing polls, so it appears reasonable to consider Gallup's reports to have solid credibility. The problem, of course, begins with the fact that so many other polls show the race being closer. But let's look at that Gallup poll to see if we can learn from it. [...]
The conclusion after reading the entire post? Faulty polling parameters and data withheld from the public as to how they concluded what they have. Even the questions are not published by and large. Because a pollster speaks we are to "fall in line"? Not hardly. Wizbang ends thusly:
[...] We are in the final weeks of a long, long battle. We are tired, bitter at the cost and some of our losses, but we can come out with a clear victory. It will be rough, these last 24 days, with all the dirty tricks from ACORN and the ACLU, all the lies in the media and hard-left interviews. But for all his advantages and biased allies, Obama has failed to close the deal. That door is open, and we can get there if we stick it out. [END]
Correct. Another reason McCain can still win is that the elections aren't until 11/4/08 and not yesterday, today or tomorrow. The argument that "if the election were held today" always makes me laugh. The actual "today" will eventually be yesterday's tomorrow sometime in the future...or so I have been told.

In recent developments like ACORN, Rezko, Patrick Fitzgerald and RICO Law violations cropping up this weekend, the bottom could drop out at any minute from Barack's aspirations. Over at his website, one used to be able to read the comments from future former Barack supporters. They are beginning to wonder why The One hasn't renounced ACORN and why he hasn't come out and say that he hasn't had any dealing with ACORN and their very much unAmerican activities. What is he hiding, they ask. Good question and we have been after the answers. Naturally, we have found those answers but we are classified as racists for bringing up the issues.

Yesterday at the American Thinker, Thomas Lifson writes a post entitled, "This Could Be A Game Changer". I ran across that article after I had posted this video at my video blog. The game changer could be the issue of Barack's AWOL COLB. Where is his birth certificate? If it isn't a big deal, why all the mystery? Produce it and be done with it. This video is 11 minutes of pure fact and Barack is running away from it causing more and more followers to become former followers. Many people from both sides of the aisle have questioned this issue and some have defended it. That collection of hundreds of posts can be found here...have fun. Posts on Barack's AWOL COLB on this blog can be read here.
[...] A lifelong Democrat who has held political office and been a committeeman, Philip Berg, has brought suit over the real questions raised by the absence of a valid Obama birth certificate. His narrative of the various questions Obama has refused to answer is devastating. Graphics and sound are well-deployed to avoid tedium as factual data is conveyed in a way that allows viewers to absorb it. When he contrasts Obama's behavior when challenged (use perfectly valid legal technicalities to delay) with John McCain's full disclosure of all documentary evidence under a similar challenge (remember the flap over his birth in the Panama Canal Zone? -- who raised those questions, anyway?), there is no doubt in a viewer's mind that there is something seriously wrong here.

We are talking about the Presidency and this guy stonewalls?

The only way Obama can satisfactorily respond is to release his supposed Hawaiian birth certificate. If he has it, why hasn't he released it? If he does release it, game over. So why drag this out on technical grounds? It doesn't make sense.

If this video gets widely viewed and discussed, Obama's support will crumble in the face of continued stonewalling. [...]
I have a new name for Barack...Barack Stonewalling Hussein Insane Nobama. Just for the hell of it, take a stroll over to TAB and read their take on polling. Think for yourselves folks and don't fall for the hype.

At Canada Free Press:
In a recent book we wrote: “He who looks down shall see a very narrow horizon. But he who looks up shall feast on all of heaven.” It is high time we, who believe in freedom, start looking up and drawing on the courage and determination that resides in the hearts of all men, who claim liberty as their birthright.

Americans are a strange lot. They have the uncanny ability to pay absolutely no attention to an approaching storm, and then, when it is upon them, swing into instant action to meet the challenge, albeit sometimes considerably late. Well the bell is tolling for thee and it is way past time to swing into action.

When the world seems like it is going to end, or that we will be driven into abject poverty, many just give up and let fate determine what happens to them, not unlike a deer, frozen in the oncoming headlights. But in contrast, many men (and women) of courage rise to the occasion and move quickly to meet an enemy, or solve a problem, or reach out to help their fellow man. Now is certainly such a time. [...]
Jennifer Rubin spells out that which John McCain needs to do from here on out. It is a worthy read and evidently, the McCain Camp has begun the tasks at hand. There are six points of well known facts that the public needs to be made asware ot because certainly, the dinosaur press sure isn't publishing the information.
[...] Aside from all of the arguments, likely well known to every McCain senior advisor and staffer, the great challenge for McCain is to say these things forcefully and in the only setting where everyone will make one final gut check: the last presidential debate. Whatever the question is in that final meeting his answer should be one of the six arguments above. Every moment spent on bear DNA or rules of hot pursuit for Pakistan is time wasted. There is nothing unseemly or inappropriate about any of these lines of argument, yet McCain often seems unwilling or unable to make them in a sustained way. He needs to get over it.

Is this all too late? Of course not. Voters get the final say in every election and McCain has powerful lines of attack and compelling reasons for his own candidacy. Now is the time to make his case. [END]
Briefly, the six points are as follows as taken from the PJM article:
[...] First, he needs to articulate in clear and simple terms why his economic plan — and he does have one — holds out the hope for financial recovery while Barack Obama’s does not. [...] Second, Barack Obama’s associations with a hodgepodge of left-leaning and corrupt cronies from Chicago — Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Larry Walsh, Tony Rezko, Rashid Khalidi, Reverend Wright, and Father Pfleger, to name a few — are important. Why? Because they show he either suffers from an appalling lack of judgment or a broken moral compass. [...] Third, we can’t afford to have a Democratic Congress and Barack Obama at the same time. There will be no stopping them from enacting the most extreme elements of the special-interest group agenda of the Democratic Party. [...] Fourth, none of the world’s bullies and dictators — Putin, Castro, and Ahmadinejad, to name a few — will respect, let alone fear, Obama. Instead, they will suspect they can bully, bluster, and go on the offensive without much concern that Obama will use whatever means necessary, including force, to restrain their ambitions. [...] Fifth, McCain is the only candidate who will pursue seriously domestic oil and gas development. Obama continues to deride the idea and when the pressure of an election is removed he in all likelihood will promptly capitulate to the extreme environmental and no-growth wing of the Democratic Party. [...] Sixth, McCain is the only alternative to excessive, blinding partisanship which grips Washington. Obama learned in Chicago to put party above country and self above all else. When he went to Washington he continued his robotic devotion to Democratic orthodoxy — voting the straight party line, looking the other way as his colleagues ran interference for failing Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, and never championing a single piece of legislation that bothered a single Democratic constituency. [...]
I think I need to hear some AMEN reports here. Another way McCain can still win is by continuing on the offensive as Chicago Ray mentions:
I was cool to McCain's background as a reformer and half liberal until this mortgage crisis hit town and now I believe that McCain will have to keep his enforcement first pledge on illegals after this and will hopefully hand some congressman and senators out to dry if he is indeed elected after deciding this is the way he will win, by making and keeping that promise.

I was quite surprised when McCain lit into Bendover Barney and Chris Dodd naming them as co conspirators in the crisis in his Wisconsin rally Wednesday, the one that scared the living crap out of the Bro bama people, as they had no idea these such critters even existed up there or anywhere across the country since the media is ignoring the huge crowds they are drawing now thinking that state and many others are supposedly blue all the way. [...]
SHAZAAM! McCain has started at least naming names. Let the opposition whine and cry foul. Screw them. They have been screwing this nation and the world for decades. Atlas Shrugs received an email from A Democrat explaining why they will not be voting Democrat. In a nutshell, the communication said that the Democrats just don't get it and they are out of touch.

Roger Kimball makes a great point and a challenge to the what I call the pollster trouser worshippers: (what does he know that the alleged intellectuals don't?)
The question I have most often been asked the past few weeks is whether I stand by my prediction that John McCain would win in November. Way back in ancient times, that is, toward the end of August, 2008, I said that “Personally, I think John McCain is going to win, and I’m not talking about a hanging-chad squeakeroo. No, I think it will be a blow-out for McCain.” Interlocutors both anxious and gleeful have lined up to ask: Do I continue, after all we’ve been through these past weeks–the economy, the Palin-Katie Couric train wreck, the lackluster second debate, the economy, the economy, the economy–do I still believe that McCain has any chance of winning, let alone winning by a landslide?

I admit that my confidence has been dented. But it has by no means evaporated. “What? Have you looked at the polls?” Frankly, I feel about polls the way Disraeli (I think it was) felt about statistics: there are, he said, lies, damned lies, and statistics. Like everyone else, I am more inclined to believe them when they support an outcome I favor. Otherwise, I accord them the large measure of scepticism they deserve. Bottom line: I still believe John McCain will win, and I’ll say why in a moment. [...]
That was the teaser. You'll have to go read the rest on your own if you have the stomach for it. Victor Davis Hanson has stated that it all ain't over yet.
[...] The result is that with not much more than three weeks left in the campaign, a number of conservatives have all but accepted (if a few not eager for) an Obama victory. Others are angry at the McCain campaign’s supposed reluctance to go after Obama’s hyper-liberal, hyper-partisan Senate record, his dubious Chicago coterie, his serial flip-flops, and his inexperience. And how, most wonder, can McCain regain the lead lost three weeks ago, when the media has given up any pretense of disinterested coverage, time is growing ever more short, prominent conservatives such as George Will, Charles Krauthammer, David Brooks, and Kathleen Parker have suggested Sarah Palin would be unfit to assume the presidency, and former Romney supporters are raising again their unease with the once again too moderate-sounding McCain?

Yet for all the gloom, there are several reasons why this race is by no means over. [...]
I keep telling folks that but they don't have the stomach to fight on. Screw 'em. Just like Richard Baehr at the American Thinker says:
[...] As I said at the outset, it is uphill for John McCain, but he has had bigger and tougher fights before. Both McCain and Palin have been underdogs and triumphed. If McCain can rattle Obama with his reminders about Bill Ayers, Americans may see a nastier Barack Obama than they have seen so far. Then things may get interesting again. [END]
Flip seems to think that McCain has something up his sleeve and that was back on the 8th of October.

However, with all of the above stated, cited and linked, the real reason Barack Hussein Obama will lose in November can be seen in this video here. Enjoy.

I Should Have Heeded Michelle Malkin's Warning

I was extremely disappointed in last night's presidential debate. McCain didn't do a bad job, but he didn't do a good one either. Fortunately, I can say the same for Obama. It's as though the debate never happened. I should have heeded Michelle Malkin's warning that she issued on her blog. For reasons she listed in her post about the townhall type debate format, she advised her readers to lower their expectations for this one. Snooper and I discussed her post and pondered the possibilities. She tried to let us down easy. I should have listened. Originally recorded on October 7, 2008.

Some Things Make Me Wonder UPDATED

~Snooper~

As the title suggests, some things cause me to pause to consider and others cause me to nearly spew coffee across my screen and keyboard. The soon to be linked post almost caused coffee bean abuse and thus rile my ire. Behold:
John McCain lost the election Sept. 24 and Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. Nothing that is likely to happen between now and Nov. 4 can change this outcome.

Since Sept. 24, polls have increasingly pointed toward a Democratic landslide. Obama not only has an outside-the-margin advantage in nearly every national poll, but leads strongly in enough battleground states that if the election were held today, the Electoral College vote would be 353 for the Democrat, 185 for the Republican. Even Karl Rove's electoral map now shows Obama winning. [...]
It is a good thing this person that wrote this defeatist nonsense isn't in charge of anything worthy. Hell. Even the Little Red Train has more positive outlooks on life and the possibilities thereof. Normally, the folks at American Spectator are upbeat and rational. This piece, however, reminds me of that nut at WND I wrote about yesterday. This is yet another example of a fool being taken in by the retarded pollsters. Polls, folks, are designed to bring about an outcome - influence voters. That way, when all is said and done, they can claim, "See?" Now Rasmussen is usually two weeks behind and this is even stated on their web site. So, the author, Robert Stacy McCain, is one of those Dip Dunks I spoke about earlier.

In one of two pieces at TAT that I will link soon, shine a different light. Take into consideration McCain's track record in regards to elections and campaigns. Many called him dead in the water earlier this year. Others, such as myself, have been anxious for the McCain Camp to at least pretend they were in this race. McCain does things at his time and not ours. We witnessed that fact this past weekend, did we not?

So, here is one of the pieces at TAT:
Even with their stumbles over the past two weeks, John McCain and Sarah Palin still have time to win the election and save our country. To do so, McCain must commit to taking the steps necessary to truthfully frame the issues in a way that will resonate with the voters, and then relentlessly take action against the two obstacles in his way -- the daily messages being spouted by Obama and the mainstream media.

Senator McCain must focus on getting several key points across to the American public. At the same time, he must emphasize the fact that it is the media who is trying to elect Barack Obama -- in essence, asking the public if they are comfortable allowing the liberal media to choose the country's next President. [...]
Whereas I can agree with most of that article, here is the other one at TAT entitled, "What if McCain knows what he's doing?"
Sometimes, if I'm puzzled by someone's actions, I like to ask myself "if he's really smarter than I am, why would he be doing what he's doing?"

You can learn a lot that way. Unfortunately, the American Chattering Classes often operate on the opposite assumption: "if I don't see the point of this, that other guy must be an idiot."

As a case study, let's consider the McCain campaign in the month since my piece on McCain's apparent use of the OODA loop was published here in American Thinker. God knows it's been a rough month: after the rush of the Palin selection, we had a couple of disappointing experiences with major media interviews, and worse -- much worse -- we had the credit market freeze and the fight to get a rescue package working.

Of course, then we had the Vice Presidential debate, which certainly restored a certain amount of respect for Sarah Palin. (It must have: there has been another flood of Palin rumors.) But then we had some more inexplicable actions on the part of McCain's campaign: the announcement that they intended to get tough on Obama... real soon. The announcement that they were pulling out of Michigan ... or were they? The Michigan GOP didn't like it, and Sarah Palin said to send her and her husband. It became clear McCain didn't exactly have complete control of the moose-hunting governor. [...]
Naturally, the rest of the article explains in greater detail what might be going through the head of The Maverick. In a previous article here, I alluded to what McCain needs to do now and in a nutshell, I said that the gloves must come off. Apparently that has happened. I say that because all of the libtards have been whining about a poll - go figure - that has Czarbie a measly 4 points ahead. Now, when a leftist news organization can only place their guy 4 points ahead with the MILLIONS spent - 10 to 1 over McCain - that is indicative of a lost campaign. The poll was produced by CBS and CBS just a few days ago had Czarbie 9 points ahead. Do you see why I nearly wet myself with laughter as I hear folks saying, " THE POLLS ARE COMING! THE POLLS ARE COMING!! THE POLLS ARE COMING!!!"? Screw the polls and use your mind and pay attention.

The coming onslaught of Truth Revealed between now and 11/4/08 is going to frazzle Czarbie that cannot stand up to pressure. This, I believe, has been McCain's strategy from the start. He knows The One. And, he knows how to take Czarbie down. There is nothing that Czarbie can do to take McCain down. He has been down since the beginning. I recognize a flanking maneuver when I see one and Czarbie is about to be overrun.

The problem for Czarbie is, he doesn't know what a flanking maneuver is, let alone recognize one. Neither does his idiot advisers.

With the military 45 points ahead in favor of McCain, why do you think the military votes won't be counted...again? The shipped ballots will be "late" or "lost" again. They always are.

[UPDATE]

Jules Crittenden nails the American Spectacle article...he calls it The Other Election...and I quote:

It’s over, McCain lost. The Other McCain channeling his own American Spectator article re the election they held today:

John McCain lost the election Sept. 24 and Barack Obama will be the next president of the United States. Nothing that is likely to happen between now and Nov. 4 can change this outcome.

I’m sorry, make that the election they held Sept. 24. Could be true, and he might yet, but they didn’t, and it isn’t, so he doesn’t, yet. While the Other McCain’s instincts re celeb cleavage are spot on, if the other other McCain gave up as easy as the Other McCain does, he’d still be able to comb his own hair.

More important news about the election they are holding today here. Memo to pundits. There’s this fat lady. She gets to sing. That happens on Election Day. Which is Nov. 4. That said, there is no call for eff you responses to the Other McCain for pointing out what he thinks is wrong with the picture. That’s a totally leftosphere move. Can’t we all just get along? OK, cleansing celeb cleavage via the Other McCain. Lefty, of course, in the interest of D-partisanship:
AMEN, SIR!

Thirty Days And Counting

~Snooper~

Yeah but, who's counting? Why, all of us are! It is said that the McCain Camp will be coming on strong and the Czarbie Camp says that they are coming out with a preemptive strike. I find that odd in that he has said that he doesn't agree with preemptive anything. SD has a piece up from yesterday which just about covers things. Personally, I think it a good strategy of the McCain Camp to unleash the hounds at this point in time. Sarah Palin delivered the first volley and the Czarbie Camp has rejected her claims that he has close ties to terrorists. Just because he rejects something doesn't make it untrue. Silly boy that he is, more and more Americans are catching on to his stupidity.

Hindrocket at Power Line doesn't share Hugh Hewitt's conclusion as to why McCain will close the gap and win. I understand his concerns but McCain is a shrewd strategist and always has been. Remember when Biden stated at his spanking with Sarah when he said that McCain is no Maverick? He was either delusional, lying or just plain brain dead. Anyway, Hugh Hewitt said the following in a piece entitled, With One Month To Go: Why McCain Will Close and Win:
Because the country cannot afford the greatest gamble in its modern history at this moment in time. [...]

[...] We do not desire to become Europe. We do not fear our neighbors or hate our political opponents or mock religion. Large portions of Obama's most dedicated supporters do. The MoveOn.org of "General Betrayus" and the Al Franken wing of the Democrats have tried without success to moderate their rhetoric, and the issue of Michelle Obama's lack of pride in the country have been erased from the fall campaign, but as the decision grows close, mist voters will be turning over all of these things in their head, and assessing the very different futures in front of the country.

This is the choice facing the country as absentees begin to be mailed next week, and it is the seriousness of the moment and the radical nature of the Obama candidacy that favors the tried and tested McCain and his populist, optimistic running mate.

America is a great and good nation, and it will not turn itself over to a party in the grip of its hardest left cadres, its most corrupt machine and its least experienced nominee ever.

Especially not when it has a man of enormous courage and proven devotion and sacrifice at the ready to lead through difficult times. [...]
Obama ist tot.

Let us not forget the damage Czarbie has wrought upon this nation, shall we?
With his first entry in an otherwise blank foreign policy ledger, Barack Obama sabotaged America’s operational relationship with Pakistan. On August 1, 2007, during a speech at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, Senator Obama said of Pakistan's border with Afghanistan:

There are terrorists holed up in those mountains who murdered 3,000 Americans. They are plotting to strike again . . . If we have actionable intelligence about high-value terrorist targets and President Musharraf won't act, we will.

The statement was swiftly criticized by prominent Republicans and Democrats as inept and harmful to American interests. (It was actually Senator Joe Biden who leveled the most insightful charge at Obama, saying, "The last thing you want to do is telegraph to the folks in Pakistan plans that threaten their sovereignty.") [...] Read the rest
Does a true leader broadcast possible future events long before he allegedly takes up position is the most powerful political office in the world? Only if he is unfit to command, naturally. And, Czarbie is most certainly as inept a leader as inept leaders go.

For further evidence of a completely unhinged group of Czarbie Trouser Magnets, one needs to look no further than the Daily Moonbat Fruit Loops KOSmonoff Funny Farm. Their "scientific poll" shows that the 48% ceiling Democrats are at Czarbie 52 and McCain 40. Is that not insanity or what?

And, another thing. Remember back not so long ago that Czarbie gave the lame excuse of lapel pin wearing? Among other things, he said that he didn't want to anger the folks in Iran. That was just plain ignorant and all too telling and/or revealing. To top it all off, in the Arabic news outlet Asharq Alawsat English Edition, we read the following:
[...] With the US elections fast approaching, the debates on electoral issues between Republican nominee John McCain and Democratic nominee Barack Obama intensify, turning the issue of Iran and its Nuclear program to something of a punching bag, especially after Obama’s revelation that were he to become President of the United States negotiations with Iran would be a possibility. And so any Iranian threat or escalation would make life harder for the Democrats, and enhance the changes of the Republican McCain, whose presidency would clash with the interests of Iran.

The result of this is an Iranian commitment to calm for the next two months, and the withdrawal of any pretext of turning Iran into a political football to be kicked between the two Presidential hopefuls, which can be interpreted as an Iranian endorsement for Democratic nominee Barack Obama. [...]
And there you have it. Iran considers Czarbie to be an ineffective and inexperienced counter part and think they can bowl him over. Czarbie has pretty much made that known in public already.

The New Reagan - Sarah Palin

~Snooper~

Whadya Know? The New Reagan, Sarah Palin, Gov of Alaska and soon to be Vice President Elect Palin, has vowed to never again put those gloves back on and refuses to be filtered through the media filters. Good for her. She has traded up to the Sarah Swords of Truth, Justice and the American Way. She is also a breathe of fresh air among the stagnated idiocy of the American international embarrassment of the United States Congress. I can hardly wait for her grand entrance as the president of the Senate. This is going to be an epic WOOT! WOOT! in the history of this nation. Of this you can be sure. She will not tolerate the status quo of the shenanigans of the DNC Culture of Corruption nor will she tolerate the Party of Death.

Senator Joey Biden was slammed and slammed hard. How can I tell? That's easy. The Lame Stream declared the 14-Lies teller the winner. I expected them to do so but I had no idea that they would actually unzip his trousers and feast.

The Hockey Mom from Alaska scored a decisive victory. Of that there is indeed no doubt. Even the Chief Moonbat Libtard of the Daily KOSmonoffs agrees. Expect to see a major "fluctuation" in the polls this coming Monday. Not that I give polls any positive regard or anything but those that live by the polls will be shivering in the cold night. Especially the Soros trouser trouts. Be sure to review the Sarah Palin collection, including the posts from the anti-Americanists.

Some are whining about her "winking to America" but I especially liked the blowing of a kiss to Americans myself. Yes indeed. This woman ROCKS the House! More than likely the reason for the panic setting in on the anti-Americants's side of the political arena is that the debate between Sarah Palin and the pathological liar Biden is that it set a record of viewers and Americans saw the Real Sarah and not the edited version as presented by her last two media filter outlets. The viewer tally is just under 70,000,000 (69,989,000 or so). That is 70 MILLION viewers watching Biden lie 14 times and watching as the 36-year veteran of the Senate getting schooled by a Real American and not some political hack.

For those of you that cannot stand the thought of reading or listening to El Rushbo explain things to you, I bring you this: Biden was calling upon "his" truth to make a stand but, it is confined to a wheel chair. MsUnderestimated has a collection of videos to reveal the Truth about the Other Fraud Biden.

Rumor has it that the McCain Campaign, now that the retarded bail out bill has been "filtered" through, will be going on the offensive and in a big way (see this post). This remains to be seen.

Whereas Karl Marx would be proud of the American politicians these days, one thing is for sure. McCain-Palin will occupy the Top Jobs in January 2009.

What McCain Needs To Do Now

~Snooper~

OK. Now that the unconstitutional economy bail out and the rape of the American tax payer has been set into stone, McCain can now come out swinging and expose the folks that are responsible for it all, including that fraud and socialist/Marxist lying bastard that he is Czarbie.

John McCain and the New Reagan can take the gloves off, now that the non-issue issue created by Democrats has been dealt with. The Democrats had to invent an issue because the Iraq issue is no longer an issue. The Democrats were wrong about Iraq right after they had been right about Iraq. Now, the economy is their mantra. Good. They screwed it up and now McCain must expose them for it.

Ace has a pretty good "conversation" tip...
"I stayed away from making these partisan attacks, even though you lied ridiculously about me and your own attempts at 'reform.' I held back, because partisan attacks -- even truthful ones -- would harm our country and reduce the chances of getting a vital bill passed.

"Well, the bill is now passed. I put country first. You didn't, and you lied on top of that. And now -- only now that this crisis has been dealt with, to the extent we can -- I'm going to give you a bit of straight-talk about Fannie, Freddie, my attempts to reform it, and your attempts to block reform on behalf of your big donors and friends in ACORN."
Hopefully so. He is entirely capable of doing this seeing that he is known to unload on people before. We also already know that those responsible have been angered that they have been exposed. As much as I can hardly stand Bill O'Reilly, he had one of the more obviously responsible cretins on his show the other day. The guy blew up. I would imagine that he was looking for some duct tape.

Sarah Palin threw her gloves away.

McCain 1 - Obama 0

~Snooper~

Some call the first Presidential debate a draw and some are calling it a win for McCain. Naturally, the Leftinistra are calling it a win for Obama. Obama's performance can be clasified as a win if one is a socialist and vague dunce.

The only segment that can be considered a draw is the very first question. It was a draw in that McCain missed two opportunities to totally shred Obama. McCain waited until the third segment to eviscerate Obama and in the third segment, Obama began to lose his composure. I believe it was the constant smirk on McCain's face that got to Obama.

Several times, Obama debated himself and, as pd.com says, kicked his own butt. The NRO agrees; Obama clearly lost. Perhaps the smirk on McCain's face was due to the fact that for most of the evening, Obama insisted that McCain was right.

I will give Obama credit for a fine performance, however. The usual stammering and stuttering was not nearly as present as in other off-the-cuff caught-without-a-teleprompter moments but he did have several of those moments. Most of them came during the trouncing he received during the Commander In Chief tests but, don't tell these folks that he failed miserably.

In case one is wondering, John McCain has some substantiation. Please check out his web site here for the Debate Facts listings. Therein one will find just how many lies Obama stated as truth. For example, missile defense, bombing Pakistan and his many stands on the Troop Surge are indicative of one blowing with the wind. John McCain has said and done some things that just absolutely drive me crazy - just like GWB - but there is one thing you can be sure of; he most assuredly sticks by his guns and does not blow with the wind or pollsters. Obama on the other hand, well, he speaks to the moment to whomever he is trying to reach and has been known to hold every view on every issue in the same paragraph.

If you are interested in a Debate Score Card, Hugh Hewitt has one. His blog also has a postmortem review and a Master-Grasshopper analogy. Don't forget, Obama has a bracelet too.

Donald Douglas has a great review as well. Obama, if anything, proved that he is all about growing the government and not the country. He thinks government is the country whereas McCain sees and knows differently. And, on that point alone, the Leftinistra will drool all over themselves spinning the debate as an Obama victory. Naturally, the Marxists agree with each other. Of that there can be no doubt.

Obama had his Kissinger moment and was duly spanked. He was also schooled on Iraq. As we discussed this debate on my BTR show, we are not fighting 2 wars...we are fighting 1 war. Using Czarbie's pathetic rhetoric, we are fighting 80+ wars. What a silly man. The entire evening, Czarbie was schooled by The Teacher...the man with experience. Pretty much during the evening, Czarbie said that McCain was right and McCaiin said - rightfully - that Czarbie didn't understand.

Yes, Sir! The debate was handily won by Senator McCain, soon to be President Elect McCain. McCain may not have shredded Czarbie as we had hoped or wished that he would. However, perhaps he is acting Presidential and we are wanting blood.

John McCain - Showing Leadership In A Time Of Need

~Snooper~

Where is Czarbie? President Elect McCain has suspended his campaign and will report to duty in DC to deal with the current financial crisis that the DNC created and has asked Czarbie to join him. Czarbie said no. Go figure. As our friend Loon says, "Democrats: all about the show. Republicans: all about America." Exactly so.

From Russia With Love...Reader Beware

~Snooper~

Now that we have learned that the Georgian-USSR/Soviet War was the doings of McCain, Cheney and Bush, we can all relax now. Russia has stated that they will nuke Poland. And that is a good thing. It will get our Troops out of Iraq, Iran (yes they are there), Afghanistan and Pakistan. It might even get them pulled out of the Philippines, Africa and most of Europe. Hell. We just might be lucky enough to get them pulled out of Japan, Korea and Taiwan. Surely Czarbama, The One that is no threat to anyone in particular would be able to handle the situation in a Presidential manner. After all, Czarbama is modeling himself after Jimmy Carter who knew so much better than anyone in the universe about all things, especially the USSR. So, yes, Czarbama is clearly The One to lead us all.

While GWB talked sternly to the USSR and Czarbama blamed the West, McCain did otherwise to the klaxons of the Leftinistra anti-Americanists. As Ronald Wilson Reagan so called the USSR the Evil Empire, so states the President of Georgia. However, it is the USA that is the Evil One according to Czarbama so he is naturally the best one for the job out of all of our choices to date. All hail to The One. Forget that idiot Bolton. What the hell does he know? After all, the USSR is a "strategic partner". I suppose Macsmind has lost his mind. Czarbama is The One seeing that the USSR was well within their rights to defend themselves. What was once a voice of reason has been reduced to something else because The One is so much better for the nation.

We have realized our mistakes and we have received our just rewards. The KGB are actually our friends and the CPUSA supports The One. Surely such bastions of tolerance and Utopia cannot be wrong and would set out to purposefully mislead anyone. Would they? And, in conjunction with all there is to know about Czarbama, The One, should become President for the following reasons: well, I was going to place them here but, due to the awesome purity of it all and the wisdom therein, I cannot commit such sacrilege. Needless to say, all of ten valid points are there. The once valid 25 points are hereby proclaimed to be anathema to The One and should be totally held in great disdain. In more recent times 7 positive signs must also be held in the utmost disgust and cannot be recognized in any way, shape or form. However, rest assured that the other 7 signs must be addressed. The One will prevail. After all, The One has the economy in his best interests and surely knows all there is that needs to be known.

And, yes, the USSR should be allowed to reconvene because naturally, they are our friends because The One is Master and Lord of all and can do no wrong...anything erstwhile offends the gods.

It was The One that brought about the cease-fire between the USSR and Georgia, did he not? Did he not handle the War For Oil correctly and GWB did not? We can also discredit that war monger General Patton. He was merely a tooled pawn of those against enlightenment. We should let bygones be bygones and get on with our lives and be content in our new found enlightenment.

The beguiled, as in the day of Reagan, are breaking to McCain and it is our civic duty to correct this horrendous activity...or else. Or else the nation is doomed because The One is no threat and The One knows best. Face it. The Georgians are reaping that which they have sown and The One agrees.

We need to embrace the patriotism of The One for patriotism is everything to everyone and there is no hope for change without it. We will embrace the landslide and be glad in it. The Ones' National Security policies are spot on and cannot be questioned and The One is correct. Only the USSR The Benevolent has the right to possess nukes as does Iran. We are The Evil and must be rid of them all. Besides, his Master says so.

Besides, what in the hell does McCain know? He has white hair.

Quote Of The Moment

So, I was reading a herd of stuff and ran across this gem at RWN:

"Taking in my opponent's performances is a little like watching a big summer blockbuster, and an hour in, realizing that all the best scenes were in the trailer you saw last fall." -- John McCain

One Of These Days...

~Snooper~

One of these days, I will be blessed, honored and humbled to be in the presence of beth from Blue Star Chronicles. She has been a stalwart supporter of The Troops for a seemingly eternity. If I ever do managed to be in her presence, this humbled veteran will give her a grateful and heartfelt bear hug.

I was once a Troop. Therefore, I will forever remain a Troop. I swore my Oath of Service only to return to a seemingly ungrateful segment of our society. That is to be expected because their parents didn't teach them any better and their teachers and professors and instructors didn't teach them any better.

I normally do not post another bloggers' content on any of my posts out of respect for their work and normally take snippets and link back to them. That is proper protocol. However, the following is an exception to that rule.

With that said, I will say this. Czarbama, his followers, his handlers, his enablers and financiers can kiss my ass.

McCain and Obama and Our Troops by beth
The difference between John McCain's interaction with American troops and Obama's is a reflection of how different the two men are. McCain appears natural and comfortable with Men at Arms. His interactions give every appearance of mutual respect.

Obama, on the other hand, appears .... well .... we don't know how he interacts with the troops because he seems to avoid that as carefully as he avoids a debate with McCain.

Enjoy this video of McCain with the troops … and Obama's shame.
I find it vastly peculiar when I hear silly people say that there isn't much difference between McCain and Czarbama. I seriously question their synapse pathways are in order when I hear such things. But, that's just me.

UHOH!! McCain Asks Va. Congressman Cantor for Records

~Snooper~

From Newsmax:
[...] U.S. Rep. Eric Cantor of Virginia has been asked for "personal documents" by John McCain's campaign, a Republican knowledgeable with the discussions said Saturday. [...]

[...] He has been a forceful critic of Democrat Barack Obama's resistance to lifting the federal ban on oil and gas drilling off the Atlantic and Pacific coasts.

Cantor has strong support among the party's conservatives, perhaps comforting a segment of the base of the GOP that has been reluctant to embrace McCain, who has promoted himself as a maverick. [...]
I have heard a lot of whining about McCain being a "maverick". Hell! I am a "maverick". I have always been a "maverick". I buck the system just to buck the system and if folks don't like it, KMA.
MAVERICK:
Noun
1. An unorthodox or independent-minded person: a free-thinking maverick
* a person who refuses to conform to a particular party or group
2. Unbranded calf or yearling
Adjective
Unorthodox: a maverick detective
ORIGIN: mid-19th century; from the name of Samuel A Maverick (1803 - 1870), a Texas engineer and rancher that did not brand his cattle
I like Mavericks. They mix things up and keep folks guessing and they ALWAYS have an underlying modus operandi that cannot be readily identified until they overcome you and make you look like a fool. And, McCain, in recent days has most assuredly and positively made The One Czarbama and the DNC look like the fools that they are. Just listen to the libtards squealing in these last few weeks.

Anyway, Cantor looks promising seeing that he pretty much led the charge on the recent pseudo rebellion on 01 AUG 08 as the defeatocrats ran away from the fuel costs debate that they are going to have to address any way by the end of September.

Heading Right now reporting as well...

Gateway Pundit now commenting...I was wondering when and this pleases this DAVFW.

John McCain Exposes His Ignorance of Islam

Anyone in contact with Senator John McCain and able to influence him could perform a valuable public service by directing him to this blog, where he could learn a little about Islam before opening his mouth and inserting his foot.

The Senator gave an interview to beliefnet. Here is a prime excerpt. Note: the video did not perform well on dial up. They promise more video and transcripts Monday.

  • I admire the Islam. There's a lot of good principles in it. I think one of the great tragedies of the 21st century is that these forces of evil have perverted what's basically an honorable religion. But, no, I just have to say in all candor that since this nation was founded primarily on Christian principles.... personally, I prefer someone who I know who has a solid grounding in my faith. But that doesn't mean that I'm sure that someone who is Muslim would not make a good president.
  1. What good principles does McCain find in Islam? Perhaps its wankahoo with slave girls and 9 year olds?
  2. Is it the ordination of fighting?
  3. Or terror?
  4. Or taking booty?
  5. Or female inferiority?
  6. What makes that ignoramus declare that Islam was corrupted in the 21st century when it has a 1384 year track record of rapine??!??
  7. Doesn't he know about 2:216, 2:190, 8:12 , 8:39, 8:60, 8:67,9:5, 9:29, 9:111, 47:4, 48:15-20 & 61:4 ???
  8. Has he never seen Sahih Bukhari's books of Jihad or Khumus nor Al-Misri's Reliance of the Traveler?
It appears that Senator McCain thinks that Usama bin Laden invented Jihad, genocide & terrorism and perverted a religion of peace by introducing bida. How far he is from the truth!!! If only he had read our Myth vs Fact series, which exposes the Qur'anic origin of those evils which Muhammad practiced!!
