This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

IRAQ - Rakkasan medics from 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), assembled the chairs that were donated by an organization called Wheelchairs for Iraqi Kids.

1-64 Troops Make Initial Payment to Concerned Local Citizens in Jamia
BAGHDAD, Iraq - It was a very joyful day for the concerned local citizens of Jamia, as troops with Company B, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), delivered their first month's salary, Dec. 4.

Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition Forces Detain 27 Suspected Al-Qaida in North Babil
NORTH BABIL, Iraq - A joint raid Dec. 7 resulted in the detention of 27 suspected al-Qaida terrorists in a building in north Babil that was suspected to be an al-Qaida safehouse where members planned attacks against local citizens, Iraqi Security Forces and Coalition Forces.

Local Tribal Leaders Start Reconciliation
BAGHDAD - After four years of brutal fighting between insurgents, the Iraqi army and coalition forces, most of west Mansour's local population, is tired of the ravages of war that has prevented any sort of normalcy in this area since Saddam’s regime reigned.

When Task Force 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, from Fort Stewart, Ga., attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), arrived in Mansour in mid-June, the battalion was conducting full spectrum combat operations with a daily average of up to fifteen significant enemy events per day.

Black Knights Honor Fallen Comrades
BAGHDAD - On Dec. 7, 2006, Staff Sgt. Kristopher Ciraso, with 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, lost his life when he was struck by an improvised explosive device while trying to repair a barrier in the western Ameriyah neighborhood of the Iraqi capital. He was the first "Black Knights" Soldier to lose his life during the battalion’s 15-month deployment.

Five months later, on May 14, 2007, six Soldiers and an interpreter who were riding in an M3 Bradley Cavalry Fighting Vehicle were struck by a deep-buried IED in Ameriyah. All seven - Staff Sgt. Christopher Moore, Sgt. Jean Paul Medlin, Sgt. David Behrle, Pfc. Travis Haslip, Pfc. Alexander Verela, Pfc. Joseph Gilmore, and the interpreter - died in the blast.

In order to remember the fallen Soldiers of the cavalry unit, currently attached to the 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), the Black Knights held a ceremony in Ameriyah, Dec. 7, one year to the day they lost their first Soldier, and at the very site where those seven men lost their lives in May.

The Black Knights honored 18 fallen warriors during the ceremony. Chap. (Capt.) Steven Rindahl, the Black Knights' chaplain, asked those in attendance to join him in prayer to remember their warriors "lost in the fight."

3 Rakkasans Earn Fifth Combat Patch With 101st
IRAQ - The "Rakkasans" of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) boasts the highest percentage of multiple deployers in the Army.

Lieutenant Col. R.J. Lillibridge, 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry, 1st Sgt. Chad Gore, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Bn. 187th Inf. and 1st Sgt. Randal Underhill, Company C, 1st Squadron, 33rd Cavalry, are now eligible for their fifth "Screaming Eagle" combat patch.

Of the five combat tours, these Soldiers each served four tours with the Rakkasans. "There's just something neat about being a Rakkasan," said Lillibridge, of Smithfield, R.I. "There’s a whole lot of goodness in it."

Rakkasans Continue Progress With Marne Courageous
CAMP STRIKER, Iraq - The Rakkasans are making significant progress in the follow-on phases of Operation Marne Courageous which kicked off in mid-November.

Now well into the mission, multiple weapons and explosives caches have been recovered, insurgent activity has been thwarted and the operation is progressing smoothly. The construction of Patrol Base Kemple is ahead of schedule and all force-protection measures have been emplaced.

"The Rakkasans' mission to establish a footprint just west of the Euphrates proved to be a success and the quintessential model of counter-insurgency operations as defined in Field Manual 3-24," said Col. Dominic J. Caraccilo, commander of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).

"The stars definitely lined up for us on this mission," said Maj. David Jones, operations officer for the 3rd Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment, 3rd BCT, 101st Abn. Div. (AASLT). "We conducted the largest air assault since Operation Swarmer without incident and delivered a decisive blow to al-Qaida.

"If there is any enemy that still remains in Owesat, they no longer have free reign and are incapable of coordinating significant attacks," Jones said.

Rakkasans Help Put Iraqi Face on Locals' Medical Care
CAMP STRIKER, Iraq - More than 800 Iraqis received medical care during a coordinated medical engagement, Nov. 30, in Iraqi Family Village, northeast of Camp Victory, where healthcare is virtually non-existent.

Faux News At Its Finest

~Snooper~

Just a few days ago, we brought to your attention a news piece from Al-Reuters and we thought it to be another Phony Story. It turns out we were correct.

Gateway Pundits has the proof positive and you all MUST see for yourselves. They have several samples of Lame Stream Media stories over the last 6 weeks that have been shown to be Phony Stories.

And the idgit trolls at Digital Journal wonder why I loathe the Lame Stream Media and the pathetic cretins that pose as journalists as I do?

This is why

Julia Carson, 69, U.S. Representative, Is Dead

~Snooper~

A Newt One sends condolences to the family and friends.
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Representative Julia Carson, the first black person and first woman to represent Indianapolis in Congress, died Saturday, a family spokeswoman said. She was 69.

Ms. Carson died after a battle with lung cancer, said the spokeswoman, Vanessa Summer.

Ms. Carson announced last month that she had terminal lung cancer and that she would not run for a seventh term next year. She had not been in Washington since September, when she was hospitalized with a leg infection. [...]

Ron Paul - Ronniev Pauliev - Is Mentally Unstable

~Snooper~

This is just too much. I received an email on this subject matter below and, even though I have known about this for a while now, I suppose I must now air my own assessment.

Ron Paul is in serious need of mental therapy. Naturally, when the entire world is out to get you, paranoid is the best thing to be...I suppose. Then again, being a Paultard is also a mental illness as well. Behold Prison Planet...by the way, this is another one of those he said, she said, they said, so we think this and that, therefore, it is true. The Leftinistra are the same way and so are Troofers. No wonder they adore each other so...sort of like a herd of Guinea Pigs.
Best-selling author and Bilderberg sleuth Daniel Estulin says he has received information from sources inside the U.S. intelligence community which suggests that people from the highest levels of the U.S. government are considering an assassination attempt against Congressman Ron Paul because they are threatened by his burgeoning popularity.

Estulin, whose information has unfortunately proven very accurate in the past, went public with the bombshell news during an appearance on The Alex Jones Show today.

"I am getting information from my sources that there are people involved from a higher level of the American establishment who are seriously considering this has not been confirmed - but assassination is definitely on the agenda and I pray to God that this is not the case," said Estulin. [...]

[...] Ron Paul himself has stated on a previous occasion that he is aware of the dangers of being such a bold icon for freedom and understands that political assassinations have occurred in the past. [...]
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNNNN. Anything on the SciFi channel?

Israel Now Creates Earthquakes

~Snooper~

In my 24-7-365 (sometimes 366) daily studies in the morning hours of each and every day, I run across very interesting topics, very boring topics, articles written by very intelligent people from all political spectrums and then, I run into things like this. This is an example of mental instability in much the same way as the proponents of Global Warming.

I was waiting for a few days to write on this but, in the light that the Des Moines Schoolmarm Club for the ignorant and confounded has endorsed Czarina and McCain for President, I thought to brighten up my evening by posting this link to the video of Israel creating earthquakes just to piss of the Arabs.

Naturally, there will be people that actually believe this kind of crap just like they believe that the Federal Government is plotting the assassination of Ron Paul.

War Funding...Take 969

~Snooper~

Blinking Leftinistra. The significance of their insignificance should be sending resounded chills up and down their rotten spines...if they had any. Their far-left unhinged moonbat moppets are drowning in their own swill of insignificance as well. Had they any power or influence at all, the Leftinistra in CONgress never would have caved. This shows beyond a reasonable doubt that they have openly admitted that the vast majority of Americans are truly NOT rallying behind the likes of the anti-Americanist groups such as ANSWER and Code Pink. It is "Rather" obvious even without the polls.

I find it curious that the War Funding Bill was passed so late on a Friday evening. In the dark of night, as a weekend starts and the moonbats are out partaking in adult liquid indulgements (another new word invented by Snooper) and the old hippies still drugging it out.

Rollcall is here and mm.com has the tally as a pic...
The Democrat meltdown continues-and finally, a Senate defense bill will get to the president's desk. With no timetable strings attached. Code Pinkos will be seeing red (hat tip - Jim Hoft): [...]
Al-Reuters:
Defense authorization bill sent to Bush - without timetables - WASHINGTON - The Democratic-led Congress authorized more Iraq war spending on Friday, sending President Bush a defense bill requiring no change in strategy after failing again... [...]
'Nuff said? Captain's Quarters

Congress has finally authorized spending for the Iraq war without the demand to end the success of the Petraeus strategy. On a 90-3 vote in the Senate, the defense authorization bill finally left Congress and will make its way to the White House, with the money itself still not appropriated. That may take another Friday evening to produce: [...]

[...] Next week, Republicans will try to finish funding the Department of Defense and the troops in the war zones. Democrats will try again to attach demands to replace the current strategy of aggressive engagement against terrorists and building stability in Iraq with their preferred strategy of surrender and retreat. That effort will end as this effort did, and likely with the same weekend-eve capitulation to reality.
This isn't a do-nothing CONgress. It is a jackass CONgress. How many Americans that hold jobs would remain gainfully employed if they performed their duties via half-way measures? Just sayin'.

Gateway Pundit says: "Oops! They did it again."

Don Surber: "I think. If not, the military may invoke the Feed and Forage Act from the Civil War to feed its troops." (love the sarcasm)

~Snooper~

Mukasey Doesn't Feed The Trolls Either

~Snooper~

Poor trolls. They get no respect. Are they even worth trouncing these days? Really. They are that boring and not worthy of viable verbiage.
Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey today sharply rebuffed congressional demands for details about the Justice Department's inquiry into the destruction of CIA interrogation tapes, saying that providing such information would make it appear that the department was "subject to political influence."

In letters to the leaders of the Senate Judiciary Committee and others, Mukasey also reiterated his opposition to appointing a special prosecutor to the tapes investigation, saying he was "aware of no facts at present" that would require such a step. [...]
He is supposed to act independently, you know. To catch a glimpse of the whining from the Camps of the Leftinistra, catch the comments at Think Digressive.

No dice, Mr. Mukasey said today, engaging in a bit of preemptive rhetorical warfare when explaining his reasons.

"The Department has a long-standing policy of declining to provide non-public information about pending matters. This policy is based in part on our interest in avoiding any perception that our law enforcement decisions are subject to political influence," Mr. Mukasey said.

Mr. Mukasey was brought in as a replacement for Alberto Gonzales, who Democrats said had allowed the Justice Department to be too influenced by the Bush administration's political preferences.
Good for him. We will see the DNC/Leftinistra Double Standards come into play here in full float soon enough. They whined when it appeared that Gonzales was "influenced" by GWB but NOT OK if the office cannot be "influenced" by the Leftinistra...go figure.

It just appears to be odd to be having a discussion about a moot point and "outlawing" a practice that hasn't been used for close to 4 years.

A Blog Worthy Mention of Troll Olbermann

~Snooper~

Olbermann is a fool's fool. He is a moppet of the failed socialist movement in the United States. He is a perpetrator of BDS lies and rhetoric seeing that the poor slog has no original thoughts of his own.

Check this video out and IF you can stomach the fool for nearly 8 minutes and don't vomit, you will notice that which we state.

Via comments and emails from other places, we are all in agreement...the idiot defines the epitome of BDS. I will remove the names from the messages and those that which to identify themselves as confirmation may do so. Behold:
I got the video link from a liberal in Massachusetts...I watched it and sent a reply back to the obviously distorted mind-less @*$^!)%# or whatever he calls himself idiot. This is truly the worst MSNBC has ever put out as news...pure hate from the get-go!!! They ought to be...aah you don't want to know what I'm thinking!

We ought to gang up on the commentary at youtube, maybe we can make a dent in their skulls!
The problem I see with "dents in skulls" is that there are no viable brain activities to register with. The following is the Death Knell of the Psycopathetic (new word Snooper just invented) Leftinistra when they cannot admit to having lost their bid for America's defeat...they attack like rabid rats...

[...] In a nearly ten-minute rant on MSNBC's Countdown Dec. 6, Keith Olbermann went off on the President again, begging the question: what does name-calling add to the public dialogue? Olbermann trashed the President's right to speak up about Iran following the National Intelligence Estimate that claimed Iran ended its quest for a nuclear weapon in 2003. Olbermann called the President a "pathological liar," "idiot in chief," "dishonest," "transcendently stupid," "an unhinged, irrational Chicken Little of a President." and then added that the "warmonger" Cheney is Bush's "evil ventriloquist." [...]
That about sums up the Moonbat Intelligence Myth right there, does it not? Next comment.

I have already seen this, and it is an insult to any dignified human being. I did watch the entire video, which was a total waste of my time. Olbermann is on NBC's halftime show which is on Sunday Night (I think), and I nearly hurl just seeing him even though he is talking sports. If [it] was earlier in the football season I would be calling for a boycott of that football telecast, but they only have a couple of games left and I don't think they get any playoff coverage. Just my 2 cents worth, since you brought it up XXXXXX!!!
And...

I'm not a cuzzin' man. I'm not a mean person, I'm calm, cool, and collected but I could take that (excuse my language) %╞{δ£ñ∞ƒúä£æ«±$@% Olberman and hang 'em by that thingy between his legs using a barb-wire noose while all the illegals use him for a pinata....
And...

Ditto from here - he belongs in the slow boat with soros, kennedy, michael moore, gore, pelosi, reid, murtha, and (you can fill in the blank).
And...

OLDUMBERMANN typifies the Libetoid Mentality of getting tututs totally TWISTED in Giddy Joyful Pain at the prospect of bashing W again...Unfortunately already there are Doubts about the "headlines part of the report" since upon reading the whole report and Intelligence accounts from Foreign Countries ONCE more prove that the Dummie does not take time to GET the Whole Story and he Rather Take the WORD of MAHMUD over the Safety of America and the Free World...and MSNBC in NOT a LOON run Organization...OH no!
And...

What "energy" are you talking about...The space between this Idiot's legs is a VOID as the One between his Jack ass ears...He'd make Al Gore anti America schpeel in Burma almost seem INTELLIGENT...
And...

Olberman's so pathetic, the only way he gets anyone to listen to him is by spewing this kind of crap.
And...

His rant sounds just like one of XXXXXXXX. I guess since i don't expose myself to the idiocy of the other side often I didn't realize how much of a mind link these people have. It is like a pyramid of puppet masters...very frightening.
And...

Ding ding ding ding ding !!!!!!

And XXXXXX gets the "Right Again" award from me. (like that's worth something)...

but seriously, you don't think that Olberman isn't jealous of all the attention that Rush gets over one comment considered over the top...not to mention how easy it is for Ann Coulter to become the center of attention! He must be outrageously envious of how IGNORED he always is, so he's trying the "shock jock" route since he's so desperate.

99% of people still have no clue who he is!!
And...

"99% of people still have no clue who he is!!" and the other 1% wish they didn't!
And...

Badda bing.....!
And...

Johnny, tell him what he's won. ---- An all expense paid trip to San Francisco dressed in army fatigues waving the American Flag, and a 25 years supply of batteries for your remote control so you can change the channel from Olberman anytime you want. Deal or no Deal?

(Hey I'm so TV illiterate you guys should be proud I came up with that! I was at my sister's on Sunday and they were all explaining the Deal or No Deal show to me. They think I'm nuts.)
The general consensus is...Olbermann is full of himself but no one else is. The Troll Olbermann is to be pitied and ridiculed beyond measure.

The Global Warming Myth Update

~Snooper~

The Al Goracle baseless claims of world-wide calamity via Global Warming is becoming more and more laughable by the day. The Bali Conference has been said to be the world's last ditch effort in saving the planet. How we can save the planet from natural cycles escapes me. Then again, I am not an expert in scientific or Scientology idiocy. I can, however, read. The Goracle said that "we" are the problem, "we" meaning the Human Race.
The talks, which open tomorrow [12/3/07], are to start discussing a successor to the present agreement under the Kyoto Protocol, which runs out in five years' time, having failed to measure up to the escalating climate crisis.

Experts say it is the world's "last chance" to avoid disaster.
I guess we are doomed. Al Goracle said the Bali conference failed. Good. Can we get on with our lives and dispense with the Fraudulator Goracle yet? Not quite:

BALI, Indonesia - A U.S.-European standoff was headed toward a compromise solution Friday at the U.N. climate conference, breaking a deadlock over how ambitious the goal should be in negotiating future cutbacks in global-warming gases, the German environment minister said.

"I think the situation is good and the climate in the climate conference is good, and we will have success in the end," Sigmar Gabriel told reporters.
Someone, PLEASE, explain to this mere mortal of a man just what in the hell that statement means. The "climate in the climate conference is good" means what, exactly. No wonder the world is FUBAR to the extent that we MUST start all over again...somehow. Until idiots and fools such as the following are still being granted serious audience, we are doomed:

[...] Women bear the brunt of climate change every year, a global network of women's groups pointed out here.

As over 10,000 delegates from 187 countries deliberated during the December 3-14 UN conference on climate change, acting coordinator of the alliance called genderCC, Ulrike Roehr, said: "We need to question the dominant perspective focusing mainly on technologies and markets, and put caring and justice at the centre of the measures and mechanisms." [...]

[...] "The lack of gender perspectives in the current climate process not only violates women's human rights - fundamental principles agreed on by the UN community - but it also leads to shortcomings in the efficiency and effectiveness of climate related measures and instruments," she said. [...]
Uh...WTFO? What do we do? Kill all the women? Kill all the men? Where do these idiots come up with these...OH!...WAIT!...I think I got it now. A bad batch of LSD...has to be. Read the rest of that screed and let me know what I missed...please.

The OBVIOUS (except to the oblivious) Double Standards of the Global Warming Issue (myth) can be studied and pondered upon right here:
The UN secretary-general today called on world leaders for immediate action on climate change - before flying thousands of miles to the US for a music concert and then leaving in the interval to jet to Europe.

Ban Ki-moon has been slammed for planning a round-the-world trip that will generate thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions just days after he leaves the UN meeting in Bali.

The South Korean has organised a post-conference trip, starting on Sunday, that will see him fly to attend the concert in New York, adding more than 4,300 miles to his itinerary. When he leaves the island after the summit Mr Ban will fly to East Timor, and then to Japan where he will briefly stop before catching another flight to the US.

The flight from Tokyo to New York takes him the wrong way around the world to arrive in time for the reception of a Korean concert-at Carnegie Hall, where he is the guest of honour. The concert is titled Around The World In Eighty Minutes.

The UN is expected to announce plans to offset the emissions generated by all agencies involved in the Bali conference by contributing to various environmentally friendly projects.
Has it sunk in yet? Does the Double Standard reach out and slap you across the face? In this day and age of technology, can they not have video links? Can they not sit, stand or otherwise in their conference rooms around the globe and have a conference from the comforts of their own and individual environs? Why burn up all that fossil fuel and leave carbon particle trails across the globe if they are all so grossly concerned of the Global Warming Issue? Why is it OK for The Elite of this Myth of Global Warming to contaminate the planet not only by their mode of transport but also and in conjunction with their hot air rhetoric via expelled oxygen by-products from their lungs? The hypocrisy of it all never ceases to amaze me.

The impact, or not, on hurricanes and other cyclonic phenomena due to the Global Warming Myth is discussed and skewed here...well, an attempt, anyway. And, while we are at it, how can these proponents of the Myth of Global Warming explain why the Arctic Sea is freezing in record times? Hello?
The record melting of Arctic sea ice observed this summer and fall led to record-low levels of ice in both September and October, but a record-setting pace of re-freezing in November, according to the NASA Earth Observatory. Some 58,000 square miles of ice formed per day for 10 days in late October and early November, a new record. [...]
Simply amazing that this is not in the Lame Stream Media. Isn't 58,000 square miles quite a bit of surface area? Just sayin'.

A quote from El Rushbo is in order here, at this exact moment:
[...] By the way, folks -- especially for you liberal Democrats out there who are unhappy with your presidential field. This is something that is never discussed, only the fact that there's dissatisfaction on the Republican side with their field. You liberal Democrats, you know that secretly, a lot of you are hoping that Algore will cut to the chase and get in the race, with Hillary plummeting and Obama rising and so forth. I'm going to give you the definitive answer on Algore and his potential run for the president, and it is this: It ain't gonna happen, and do you know why it's not going to happen? There's one reason -- there may be more, but there's one primary reason -- why Algore will never, ever run for president, at least next year. It's because he would be forced to debate global warming, and he will not, because he cannot debate that. He wouldn't dare, ladies and gentlemen. He would not dare. I'm being serious here. I'm not throwing down the gauntlet; I'm not issuing a challenge. He will not debate it. None of them will because they can't, and so that's why they throw up this bunch of stuff about everybody being "deniers" and just try to discredit them. "We don't have time to debate it," he says, and yet every day the world doesn't end is a disaster for these people. [...]
That right there is very true. The Goracle cannot "debate" this issue because he KNOWS it is a lie and it is his avenue and venue to become stinking rich from taking advantage of weak-minded people across the globe. He is participating in that Evil of Capitalism that the Leftinistra feign hatred for to get elected yet, enjoy the benefits of it.

Lew Waters, a contributor of A Newt One, has a very well presented piece all should read. Another "great read" at A Newt One, by Snooper, shows just a tip of one iceberg...pun intended...of the plethora of lies perpetrated by the Goracle and similar disingenuous liars.

I wonder what ever happened to the Modern Ice Age so espoused back in the 1970s...

On The Trolling Fools...UPDATED

~Snooper~

I "found" the following while experiencing the adventures of the moonbat realm at Digital Journal. The trolls are fairly thick over there but they are totally dispensable with facts and wit. The moonbats certainly are not worthy of A Newt One commentary but, an author over there, a moderate and now a member of our Group of Conservative Bloggers, has keen input and the articles the author pens is worthy of study. I had a brain spasm and have lost the link to the authors' blog. As soon as I obtain their link, I will post it and link-back accordingly that which I "found"...enjoy.

Poor trolls. LMAO!!

UPDATE: as stated, here is the link to the originator of the picture above.

Moonbat Intelligence - The Myth

~Snooper~

What drives the Leftinistra and their moppets called Moonbats? Simplifying the answer, via the shortened version is BDS. Many moons ago back in January 2007, the Strategy Page posted a relevant piece, revealing that which we already knew but placed in a one-stop shop. The lauded piece is entitled "Top 10 Myths of The Iraq War". (HT to Dr Sanity)

One will need to visit the link provided to read the ill-fated and now defunct and debunked verbiage. I'll not waste key strokes placing the verbiage here.

MYTH ONE
No Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
Not to beleaguer the reader with a plethora of "We told you so" verbiage, access the page linked and read the whole report that the Leftinistra will not accept. I will, however, start the education process. The WMD issue was and is still very real:

Finally, there are some definitive answers to the mystery of the missing WMD. Civilian volunteers, mostly retired intelligence officers belonging to the non-partisan IntelligenceSummit.org, have been poring over the secret archives captured from Saddam Hussein. The inescapable conclusion is this: Saddam really did have WMD after all, but not in the way the Bush administration believed. A 9,000 word research paper with citations to each captured document has been posted online at LoftusReport.com, along with translations of the captured Iraqi documents, courtesy of Mr. Ryan Mauro and his friends.

This Iraqi document research has been supplemented with satellite photographs and dozens of interviews, among them David Gaubatz who risked radiation exposure to locate Saddam's underwater WMD warehouses , and John Shaw, whose brilliant detective work solved the puzzle of where the WMD went. Both have contributed substantially to solving one of the most difficult mysteries of our decade. [...]
On top of the "banned weapons" and "associated equipment" found in Iraq during the progression of the War In Iraq, John Loftus and the myriad of investigators are still working out the details.

MYTH TWO
The 2003 Invasion was Illegal
This is the classic "prove me wrong" rhetoric which is entirely baseless and fraudulent in the very premise of the ill-fated argument. A State of War between Iraq and The United States was still in affect since the cease-fire "agreement" in 1991. Before the Persian Gulf War ever began against the occupiers of Kuwait, the President received the proper authorization to drive Saddam from Kuwait. One can conclude that it was a "legal op". The cease-fire agreement was negotiated and a State of War existed until such a time that Saddam fully complied. He never did and continually fired on Coalition Forces for nearly 12 years which redsulted in UN Resolution 1441. Hence, the "legality" of the war is a moot point.

MYTH THREE
Sanctions were working
Yes, and I am the King of Siam. One would have to be a mental midget to think that and the proof is in the multiple UN Resolutions violated and gone widely ignored by Saddam. Des the scandal known as Oil For Food ring a bell? A Texan mans has recently been convicted of that scandal, by the way. I suppose GWB conspired that one as well, eh?
MYTH FOUR

Overthrowing Saddam Only Helped Iran
Another logical fallacy and no one has come up with a viable example to support the claim. Iran has taken advantages yes and as been perpetrating Acts Of War against the United States internal of Iraq. Our cowards in DC are spineless to do anything about that, however.
MYTH FIVE

The Invasion Was a Failure
Well, tell that to the People of Iraq these days. Perhaps the Leftinistra should pay more attention to reality. Even Murtha disagrees.
MYTH SIX

The Invasion Helped Al Qaeda
To do what? Self-destruct as they have? OBL in recent months has conceded defeat and as AQ did in Afghanistan as we trounced AQ and the Taliban - leaving a few behind to carry on the battle and move on - so it is now. Just in case no one has been paying attention. The fighting has relocated to Afghanistan and Pakistan. I find it increasingly difficult to comprehend why the moonbats hang onto this pathetic argument.
MYTH SEVEN

Iraq Is In A State of Civil War
Again, peace is breaking out all over Iraq.

MYTH EIGHT
Iraqis Were Better Off Under Saddam
This argument is so retarded I won't dignify it with the obvious to the oblivious.
MYTH NINE

The Iraq War Caused Islamic Terrorism to Increase in Europe
See MYTH EIGHT answer.
MYTH TEN

The War in Iraq is Lost
See MYTH SEVEN answer. This is a no brainer if one has been paying attention for the last 9 months.

The Leftinistra are a sorry lot. Their moonbat moppets are even worse.

Dr Sanity goes on to explain pretty much the Pathology involved that drive the moonbats and the Leftinistra. The first three paragraphs will be placed here but you have to go read the other 20+ or so.
The fact that Iraq has sort of dropped off the radar of both the MSM and the Democrats should tell you how fast both are retreating from their original talking points. They know that promoting defeat at this point in time is a losing stance for them in 2008--except of course, for the lunatic fringe of their base. Meanwhile, Bush's poll numbers seem to be rising, much to Democrat's dismay...and their own Congressional approval rating hovers near record lows.

The Democrats and the left live (and die) by polls. Popularity means everything to them. Other people's opinions are the foundation of all their "principled" stands on issues--so watch for a significant shift in their principles in the days to come.

But let's not deceive ourselves. Such a shift would not indicate any real alteration of their unbelievable self-induced blindness and utter refusal to acknowledge the realities of Islamic fanaticism and the war on terror. To do that would require a fundamental re-assessment of their socialist/leftist/PC ideology itself. [...]
Can I hear an AMEN? I could have sworn that I wrote those three paragraphs!!

Moonbat intelligence -- an oxymoron.

Sons of Apes and Pigs

Yeah, that's what they call us, and its the name of a new web site created by a Copt whose mission is the exposure & defeat of Islam.

The site's content and rhetoric cause me to believe that its author is a wise old gentleman responsible for converting many Muslims to Christianity; one the enemy would dearly love to kill. He knows Islam from the inside & from experts. He is full of fervency & zeal, and he will persevere to the end.

In any case, the Sons of Apes and Pigs contains much useful information and I expect it to grow. The mission is worthwhile, and I urge all lovers of life & liberty to aid and support it to the utmost of your ability. Link to it, add it to your blog roll, read it and spread the word.

BREAKING: Major Jihadi Cleric: 9/11 Was a Sin

~Snooper~

So much for the Troofer Inside Job Garbage...

This just in via MEMRI:
Major Jihadi Cleric and Author of Al-Qaeda's Shari'a Guide to Jihad: 9/11 Was a Sin; A Shari'a Court Should Be Set Up to Hold Bin Laden and Al-Zawahiri Accountable; There Are Only Two Kinds of People in Al-Qaeda - The Ignorant and Those Who Seek Worldly Gain [...]
Go read the rest. It will blow your socks off...

Kerry-like Wannabe Soltz Errs...Again

~Snooper~

Yeah, Jonny boy...we know who and what you are. Not a problem there, slick. Go ahead. Mouth off again, as usual. Every time you do, you sink lower into that dismal Abyss of Obscurity you and your kind so richly deserve. If you have a spine, you would follow General Batiste's lead, fool.

In case our readers are curious, Jon Soltz is a 4-month Iraq War non-leader. You can get the straight skinny from him...bring your lie detectors with you.

It seems to think the Surge isn't working and the Iraq War was illegal...just like a good little moppet would think seeing it cannot think on its own. It also seems to think that another idgit is going to trounce Mitch McConnell in the upcoming elections in Kentucky. Well, happy hunting there, Skippy.

A "senior advisor" to VoteVets has stepped down from that posting to challenge Senator McConnell.
As an Iraq war veteran, today is pretty exciting for me, and all the other vets I talk with. Today, one of our own took the first step towards knocking off Senator Mitch McConnell in 2008. Iraq War Veteran Andrew Horne jumped into the race.

Andrew Horne, who had to step down as a Senior Advisor to VoteVets.org to run this race, not only has a good shot to beat McConnell, he has a tremendous shot. That's got us Iraq veterans pumped because not only will we have a voice in the Senate that comes from our own ranks, but we're also going to take down the guy who is the single most responsible person in Congress for the war in Iraq, as well as the defeat of pro-troop, pro-veteran legislation. [...]
Good. Let them waste their time. They have obviously not read the memo...their support is waning and they have become even more insignificant in recent months. The news that The Plan is and has worked and the charges of "illegal war" are passe, wrong, based on political hack lies and proof positive of a weak mind and no spine.

Sorry ass. First off, Jonny, you don't talk for me. Why have some from you own ranks left you and fallen in with Vets For Freedom, then, Jonny? Why has General Batiste left your behind the times group and joined with Vets For Freedom, than, Jonny? Why has Vets For Freedom outgrown your pathetic pittance of membership, then, Jonny?

Jonny Soltz. Pathetic. Insignificant. Irrelevant. Loser.

Case closed.

Iranian Police Clash With Armed "Rebels"

~Snooper~

How come they aren't called "insurgents"? Just curious.

Here is another story from Al-Reuters. I suppose we will find out from other sources soon enough if this is yet another Phony Story.
TEHRAN (Reuters) - Iranian police killed 12 armed rebels in clashes in a southeastern region on Thursday, saying they had planned to detonate bombs in the country, state television reported.

Clashes took place in the volatile border province of Sistan-Baluchestan, notorious for frequent clashes between security forces and drug smugglers.

"This morning, police forces clashed with armed bandits and terrorists who had intended to blow off bombs to create ... revolts near (the eastern city of) Iranshahr," a police official identified only as Mojaradi told state television. [...]
Poor Iran. So misunderstood.

A New Entry in the Lexicon of the Libtard Whinery

~Snooper~

Poor thing. Silly one over at SmokeCatPond is already having a bad day and the sun ain't even up yet. Poor thing.

Ya know? If I was a doom and gloom bleeding heart liberal communist in socialist garb anti-Americanist, I would be pissed off too. Such emotions from these children so early in the morning.
It's early in the morning, I'm on my first cup of coffee, and it may be those things that are bringing me down too, but one statement yesterday is among the most disturbing ever uttered by any figure in a Congressional Hearing. [...]

Sixteen "Dead" Bodies Found In A Ditch In Iraq?

~Snooper~

As opposed to "Live" bodies? Leave it to Al-Reuters.

Is this going to be another Phony Body Story?

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Sixteen dead bodies were found on Thursday in a ditch in a town north of Baghdad within Iraq's most violent province, police said.

Police said the bodies found near Muqdadiya in Diyala province, all adult males, appeared to have been killed recently. Twelve of them had been beheaded, the other four shot in the head. [...]
Haven't we heard these types of stories before from Al-Reuters?

Political Correctness and Idiot Liberals

~Snooper~

This, folks, is political correctness in all of its idiocy.

Before I get into the PC issue that many of us are extremely concerned about, here is a blog entry that explains just how insidious the Libtards are. Now, back to the post at hand.

For posterity, on Dec 11, 2007, HR 847 passed the House 372 Yeas and 9 Nays. 10 voted "present". "Present" equals neither a Yeah or Nay but gets slated as a Yeah because they didn't say Nay...convoluted, I know. 40 cast no vote at all. What is HR 847? Here ya go. H. Res. 847: Recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith. Ain't that sweet? We had to have a "resolution" in this Judeo-Christian fundamentally founded country. What the hell is that all about? The full text is here and the vote record is here.

RESOLUTION

Recognizing the importance of Christmas and the Christian faith.

Whereas Christmas, a holiday of great significance to Americans and many other cultures and nationalities, is celebrated annually by Christians throughout the United States and the world;

Whereas there are approximately 225,000,000 Christians in the United States, making Christianity the religion of over three-fourths of the American population;

Whereas there are approximately 2,000,000,000 Christians throughout the world, making Christianity the largest religion in the world and the religion of about one-third of the world population;

Whereas Christians identify themselves as those who believe in the salvation from sin offered to them through the sacrifice of their savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and who, out of gratitude for the gift of salvation, commit themselves to living their lives in accordance with the teachings of the Holy Bible;

Whereas Christians and Christianity have contributed greatly to the development of western civilization;

Whereas the United States, being founded as a constitutional republic in the traditions of western civilization, finds much in its history that points observers back to its roots in Christianity;

Whereas on December 25 of each calendar year, American Christians observe Christmas, the holiday celebrating the birth of their savior, Jesus Christ;

Whereas for Christians, Christmas is celebrated as a recognition of God's redemption, mercy, and Grace; and

Whereas many Christians and non-Christians throughout the United States and the rest of the world, celebrate Christmas as a time to serve others: Now, therefore be it

Resolved, That the House of Representatives--

(1) recognizes the Christian faith as one of the great religions of the world;

(2) expresses continued support for Christians in the United States and worldwide;

(3) acknowledges the international religious and historical importance of Christmas and the Christian faith;

(4) acknowledges and supports the role played by Christians and Christianity in the founding of the United States and in the formation of the western civilization;

(5) rejects bigotry and persecution directed against Christians, both in the United States and worldwide; and

(6) expresses its deepest respect to American Christians and Christians throughout the world.
This saddens me beyond comprehension. Why should the House have to perform this "duty". 195 Democrats and 177 Republicans voted in the affirmative for the Resolution. 9 Democrats voted in the negative for the Resolution. Of the 10 "present", 9 were Democrats and 1 was Republican. 19 Democrats and 21 Republicans did not vote. 391 voted out of 435. That is pretty sad and lame to boot. There are 60 co-sponsors to the Resolution.

I can almost hear the Libtards writhing in pure hatred to the resolution and the passing thereof.

One News Now, the site the Libtards HATE, has detailed commentary that all should read and heed. A snippet:
[...] "Watching Congress honor Islam during Ramadan, and also Diwali, which is a Hindu holiday, brought it home to me that we were doing that and not honoring Christianity," King shares. 'I'm Christian by faith and most of us are in Congress." As are the majority of Americans, three-fourths of whom King says identify themselves as Christians.

"This nation has about 225 million Christians out of the 300 million, and about two billion Christians throughout the world," he states. "And the foundations of this nation are a Christian foundation [and] our founders were Christian. So for us to move forward towards Christmas without honoring Christ is, I think, a great omission, especially if we're going to honor other religions." [...]
Absotively! Can you just hear the Libtards shreeking in their cauldrons of hate and despair?

View Hot Air's commentary here. A snippet:
[...] And yes, of course, the atheist who thinks Bush gets his rocks off by blowing the heads off Iraqi kids is among the nine hypocrites. What a filthy little fraud. [...]
View Jeff Emanuels commentary here. A snippet:

[...] Which of the two is more strongly-worded? I'll take the one that prostrates a nation before "law-abiding, patriotic Americans of African, Arab, and South Asian descent, particularly members of the Islamic faith" who have supposedly been the targets of "threats and incidents of violence" -- it sure goes a long, long way to make clear that not only is America "Okay with Islam," not only is it willing to kowtow to it so as to make doubly sure that we aren't seen as racist bigot Islamophobes, but it pulls the Clintonian move of apologizing to people who have been wronged very little, on behalf of people who have done very little wronging. [...]
In this nation, The United States, holds Islam in higher esteem than Christianity, something is very, very wrong indeed.

Congress? Thanks for the confirmation.
