Obamination: "endowed by their Creator" I found this video clip at The Party of Know.  President Barack Hussein Obama was using a teleprompter when he omitted the crucial phrase "endowed by their Creator" from the Declaration of Independence.  Since that was not the only incidence of omission, we can assume that it was deliberate, not accidental.

    In a recent rant on his radio show, Sean Hannity asked why the President made that omission. The general assumption would be that he did so in  compliance with the ACLU/AUSCS party line which denies the Creator any role in government.   By the same token, we might assume that he included the phrase in a later speech because of political heat stirred up by Hannity and other commentators.  I will offer a different, less benign explanation.

    Islamic doctrine includes a tactic of  casting terror¹ to weaken its victims, rendering them incapable of  effectively resisting Islamic conquest.  The modern implementation of that tactic involves the destruction of the victim's faith. The following quote is from a Pakistani Army training manual by Brig. S.K. Malik: The Quran'ic Concept of War. [Emphasis added.]

To instill terror into the hearts of the enemy,  it is essential, in the ultimate analysis, to dislocate his Faith. An invincible Faith is immune to terror. A weak Faith offers inroads to terror. The Faith conferred upon us by the Holy Quran has the inherent strength to ward off terror from us and to enable us to strike terror into the enemy. Whatever the form or type of strategy directed against the enemy, it must, in order to be effective, be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy. A strategy that fails to attain this condition suffers from inherent drawbacks and weaknesses; and should be reviewed and modified. This rule is fully applicable to nuclear as well as conventional wars. It is equally true of the strategy of nuclear deterrence in fashion today. To be credible and effective, the strategy of deterrence must be capable of striking terror into the hearts of the enemy.

    To succeed in terrorizing us, Islam must first weaken or destroy our faith in God.  Since the end of WW2,  Communists have been attempting to erode our faith for the purpose of easing the triumph of Communism.  In my opinion, President Obama is attempting to erode our faith to ease the triumph of Islam.

1. 3:151  We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).
2. 8:12  (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes."  
3. 8:57  So if you gain the mastery over them in war, punish them severely in order to disperse those who are behind them, so that they may learn a lesson.
4. 8:60  Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of God, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
5. 33:26  And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
6. 59:2  He it is Who drove out the disbelievers among the people of the Scripture (i.e. the Jews of the tribe of Bani An-Nadir) from their homes at the first gathering. You did not think that they would get out. And they thought that their fortresses would defend them from Allah! But Allah's (Torment) reached them from a place whereof they expected it not, and He cast terror into their hearts, so that they destroyed their own dwellings with their own hands and the hands of the believers. Then take admonition, O you with eyes (to see).

Synod of Sin: Mideast Catholics Sell Out At the end of the Middle East Synod, a statement was issued. I found it at Asia News.  As I expected, it reflects dhimmitude & lunacy.  I have excerpted what I perceive as the worst of it, added emphasis to it and will respond critically.  Use the link above to read the entire statement in context. We have taken account of the impact of the Israeli-Palestinian¹ conflict² on the whole region, especially on the Palestinians¹ who are suffering the consequences of the Israeli occupation³: the lack of freedom of movement, the wall of separation and the military checkpoints⁴, the political prisoners⁵, the demolition of homes⁴, the disturbance of socio-economic life⁶ and the thousands of refugees⁷. We have reflected on the suffering and insecurity in which Israelis live⁸. We have meditated on the situation of the holy city of Jerusalem. We are anxious about the unilateral initiatives⁹ that threaten its composition and risk to change its demographic balance¹⁰. With all this in mind, we see that a just and lasting peace¹¹ is the only salvation for everyone and for the good of the region and its peoples.

Recourse to theological and biblical positions which use the Word of God to wrongly justify injustices¹² is not acceptable. On the contrary, recourse to religion must lead every person to see the face of God in others and to treat them according to their God-given prerogatives and God’s commandments, namely, according to God's bountiful goodness, mercy, justice and love for us.

We are united by the faith in one God¹³ and by the commandment that says: do good and avoid evil. The words of the Second Vatican Council on the relations with other religions offer the basis for the relationship between the Catholic Church and the Muslims: “The Church regards with esteem also the Muslims. They adore the one God¹³, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all- powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth, who has spoken to men” (Nostra aetate 3).

We say to our Muslim fellow-citizens: we are brothers and sisters; God wishes us to be together, united by one faith¹⁴ in God and by the dual commandment of love of God and neighbour. Together we will construct our civil societies on the basis of citizenship, religious freedom and freedom of conscience. Together we will work for the promotion of justice¹⁵, peace¹⁶, the rights of persons and the values of life¹⁷ and of the family. The construction of our countries is our common responsibility. We wish to offer to the East and to the West a model of coexistence¹⁸ between different religions and of positive collaboration between different civilisations for the good of our countries and that of all humanity.

We address you regarding the importance of equality¹⁹ among all citizens. Christians are original and authentic citizens who are loyal to their fatherland and assume their duties towards their country. It is natural that they should enjoy all the rights of citizenship, freedom of conscience, freedom of worship and freedom in education, teaching and the use of the mass media.

We appeal to you to redouble your efforts to establish a just and lasting peace²⁰ throughout the region and to stop the arms race, which will lead to security and economic prosperity and stop the hemorrhage of emigration which empties our countries of its vital forces. Peace is a precious gift entrusted by God to human family, whose members are to be “peacemakers who will be called children of God” (Mt 5:9).

The citizens of the countries of the Middle East call upon the international community, particularly the United Nations conscientiously to work to find a peaceful, just and definitive solution²¹ in the region, through the application of the Security Council’s resolutions²² and taking the necessary legal steps to put an end to the occupation of the different Arab territories²³.

The Palestinian¹ people will thus have an independent and sovereign homeland where they can live with dignity and security²⁴. The State of Israel will be able to enjoy peace and security within their internationally recognized borders. The Holy City of Jerusalem will be able to acquire its proper status, which respects its particular character, its holiness and the religious patrimony²⁵ of the three religions: Jewish, Christian and Muslim. We hope that the two-State-solution²⁶ might become a reality and not a dream only.

We condemn violence and terrorism from wherever it may proceed²⁷ as well as all religious extremism. We condemn all forms of racism, anti-Semitism, anti-Christianism and Islamophobia²⁸ and we call upon the religions to assume their responsibility to promote dialogue between cultures and civilisations in our region and in the entire world.

2. The conflict between Islam and disbelievers is global, not local. Wheresoever Islamic terror & genocide are dispersed over the face of the earth, the conflict is one, dictated by Surah Al-Anfal & Surah At-Taubah. Allah's immutable & timeless book commands Muslims to wage war upon pagans, Jews, Christians & Zoroastrians until only Allah is worshiped, all resistance ceases and the "people of the book" are subjugated and submit to continuing extortion. 
3. Israel is occupied, not occupying. The land belongs to Jews, not to Muslims.  Read the history at Palestine Facts.
4. If Muslims were not waging war against Jews, there would be no security measures to complain about. The Jewish state is obligated to protect her citizens. She could obliterate her attackers or erect barriers to keep them out. Which is more humane?
5. What political prisoners? Is Israel holding anyone who was not directly involved in, aware of or planning & facilitating terror attacks?  Would you be happier if Israel simply killed them instead of arresting and imprisoning them?
6. Everything you complain about would come to an end if the genocidal attacks would end. Falestinians do not want prosperity, they want genocidal conquest.
7. There would be no refugees if the Muslims had not attacked Israel in 1948. Nasser told them to leave and clear the way for pushing the Jews into the sea. Israel does not deserve blame for that.
8. All of your emphasis is on the self-imposed suffering of Israel's enemy. The whole affair is a function of Islam's determination to destroy Israel and exterminate the Jews. Why can't you acknowledge that fact and face reality?
9. Who built the city and made it their nation's capital? For what good reason should Jews be denied the right to construct housing and live in their capital city?  In 1948, Jordan illegally seized half the city and excluded Jews from it. They desecrated cemeteries & synagogues. Was that unilateral? Why do you ignore it?
10. Jerusalem is a Jewish city; it is the capital of Israel. Why should it be half full of Muslims?  Why should Jews be excluded from any part of their capital city?
11. The conflict is existential. Peace is only possible if one side or the other is exterminated. If the aggressors exterminate the defenders, is that justice?  The conflict flows from the Jews of the Hijaz recognizing Moe's fraud and scorning him. He designed Islam to appeal to Jews. They knew what he had done and rejected Islam. His first conquests were against those Jews. He said something which should hold your attention.
    
      He said to them, "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe.You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle, and I want to expel you from this land. So, if anyone amongst you owns some property, he is permitted to sell it, otherwise you should know that the Earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle."  [Sahih Bukhari 4.53.392]
    
    He said something else, which indicates to the intelligent, open minded reader, that his intent is genocidal. They will not stop until they kill the last Jew, because admission to Paradise is dependent on that act.
    
    "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him." [Sahih Bukhari 4.52.177]
    
    The identity of the aggressor becomes clear after reading another hadith in which Moe expresses his intent.
    
    The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: It will turn out that you will be armed troops, one is Syria, one in the Yemen and one in Iraq. Ibn Hawalah said: Choose for me, Apostle of Allah, if I reach that time. He replied: Go to Syria, for it is Allah's chosen land, to which his best servants will be gathered but if you are unwilling, go to your Yemen, and draw water from your tanks, for Allah has on my account taken special charge of Syria and its people. [Sunan Abu Dawud 14.2477]
12. Is there a way to rightly justify injustices?  Where is the justice in driving Jews out of their homeland? Where is the justice in demanding that Judea & Samaria be Judenrein; exclusively for Muslim Arabs?? Where is the justice in rewarding the aggressors with land?  What precedent does that set for other "conflicts"?
13. There is one God, and Allah ain't him. If you think that Allah & Jehovah are one and the same, you have a new thought coming. Compare:

    Self-sacrifical love and arbitrary predestination do not describe the same entity unless that entity is severely schizophrenic.
14. You should be "united by one faith" with the Muslims? So convert to Islam if  you really believe that.  Conversion is a one way street in Arabia, so conversion to Islam is your only path to unity. 
15. To Islam, justice means "just us". 
16. To Islam, peace means what they enjoy when their global conquest is completed successfully.  
17. Muslims do not value life, they value conquest. Achieving Shahid status is their only guaranteed Get Out of Hell Free Card.
    
    9:38. O you who believe! What is the matter with you, that when you are asked to march forth in the Cause of Allâh (i.e. Jihâd) you cling heavily to the earth? Are you pleased with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? But little is the enjoyment of the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter.
    13:26. Allâh increases the provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills), and they rejoice in the life of the world, whereas the life of this world as compared with the Hereafter is but a brief passing enjoyment.
    61:10. O You who believe! Shall I guide you to a commerce that will save you from a painful torment.

    61:11.  That you believe in Allâh and His Messenger (Muhammad ), and that you strive hard and fight in the Cause of Allâh with your wealth and your lives, that will be better for you, if you but know!

18. There is no coexistence with Islam. Islam conquers.
    
    The Messenger of Allah stated that no two religions should remain in the Arabian Peninsula, and the Jews and Christians should be expelled from it, all praise is due to Allah. [The Good News that Islam shall prevail]
19. Under Islamic law, you ain't equal, you are inferior.
    
    1. You can not hold public processions, prayers, or funerals.
    2. You can not build or maintain churches. 
    3. You can not testify in court. 
    4. Your life is worth only one third as much as a Muslim's. 
20. Peace is the absence of Islam.  While there is Islam, peace is impossible.  This is be cause Islam is permanent war. 8:39 & 9:29 command it. Sahih Bukhari 1.8.387 confirms it. Reliance of the Traveller o9.8 & 9.9 codify it.  "jihad will be performed continuously since the day Allah sent me as a prophet until the day the last member of my community will fight with the Dajjal "[Sunun Abu Dawud 14.2526]
21. A solution can not be real or peaceful unless it removes Islam from a radius = rocket range around Jerusalem.  It can not be just unless it leaves Israel in full sovereignty over  Eretz Yisrael. 
22. Those resolutions are unjust, biased and without foundation in morality. They are not a foundation for peace.
23. Eretz Yisrael is not Arab territory. President Obama is ending our occupation of Iraq. We'll let the Sunni & Shi'ia kill each other. 
24. They have no homeland; their homelands are Egypt, Jordan, and other places from which they migrated to Israel. They can have no dignity while enslaved to Allah. To obtain dignity, they must abandon Islam  and join the human race. As Muslims, they are the threat to security.
25. Islam's stake in Jerusalem is strictly proscriptive: a game of keep away. Their only claim to the city resides in Moe's nightmare.
26. Two states: Israel & Jordan. There is no need for a third: Fallestine, since it is a fallacy; pure malicious malarkey.

28. If you condemn antisemitism & Christianophobia, then you must condemn Islam, because the Qur'an is full of them. By condemning criticism of Islam and revelation of its true nature, you demonstrate your own moral corruption. So, you want to dialogue with Islam? Then open a conversation about Christ's paternity, deity, crucifixion, resurrection & what he will do when he returns. According to Moe, when Jesus comes back, he is going to lead the Muslims in the final battle to exterminate you and the Jews.  That is a great starting point for your cherished dialogue.
    

 

Interfaith Harmony Week

This headline leads at the web page of A Common Word: H.R.H. Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad delivers King's World Interfaith Harmony Week proposal at UN. 

    The first week of February is now set aside as World Interfaith Harmony Week.  You know, peace, love and all that good stuff. The Prince explained why he spoke of harmony in the Chinese sense, not tolerance or acceptance. The crucial quote appears below; click the link above to read the whole address. 

In the very title of the resolution and in the second operative paragraph and elsewhere, the word ‘harmony’ is used in the Chinese sense of the term. We add it to the term ‘tolerance’ (which we have also used) because ‘tolerance’ can suggest that the other is so negative they have to be ‘tolerated’; we cannot use ‘acceptance’ because it implies that religions accept each other’s doctrines rather than their right to those doctrines and this is not the case; we cannot use the term ‘peace’ alone because it suggests merely the absence of war, and not necessarily the absence of hatred. Only the Confucian concept of ‘harmony’ can rescue us here because it suggests not merely ‘peace’, but also ‘beautiful and dynamic interaction between different elements within a whole’.

    Does anyone else perceive the irony?  The King's Ambassador of peace, speaking at the palace of peace, bears the name Ghazi.  A Ghazi is one who fought alongside Muhammad in the early ghazwat which established and spread Islam in the Hijaz.

    Prince Ghazi quotes a hadith which I can not find, this variant conveys the same message.

Sahih Muslim  Book 001, Number 0073:

It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Prophet (may peace blessings be upon him) observed: By Him in whose Hand is my life, no, bondsman (truly) believes till he likes for his neighbour, or he (the Holy Prophet) said: for his brother, whatever he likes for himself.

The next hadith conveys a slightly different message which merits careful attention.

Sahih Muslim Book 001, Number 0074:

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessing be upon him) observed: He will not enter Paradise whose neighbour is not secure from his wrongful conduct.

So, a Muslim must love his brother [neighbor] and avoid harming him in order to obtain admission to Paradise.   Is that the equivalent of Christian brotherly love for one's neighbor?  Or is it only applicable if they are Muslims?

9:23. O you who believe! Take not for Auliyâ' (supporters and helpers) your fathers and your brothers if they prefer disbelief to Belief. And whoever of you does so, then he is one of the Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, etc.).

9:24. Say: If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, your kindred, the wealth that you have gained, the commerce in which you fear a decline, and the dwellings in which you delight ... are dearer to you than Allâh and His Messenger, and striving hard and fighting in His Cause , then wait until Allâh brings about His Decision (torment). And Allâh guides not the people who are Al-Fâsiqûn (the rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).

What does that really mean? Turning to Ibn Kathir's Tafsir, we discover that a similar verse, 58:22, was revealed in connection with a particular incident.

Al-Hafiz Al-Bayhaqi recorded that `Abdullah bin Shawdhab said, "The father of Abu `Ubaydah bin Al-Jarrah was repeatedly praising the idols to his son on the day of Badr, and Abu `Ubaydah kept avoiding him. When Al-Jarrah persisted, his son Abu `Ubaydah headed towards him and killed him. Allah revealed this Ayah in his case

    In the same topic, Ibn Kathir relates a hadith which should give us pause whenever we hear Muslims talk of peace.

(If you transact in `Iynah (a type of Riba), follow the tails of cows (tilling the land), become content with agriculture and abandoned Jihad, Allah will send on you disgrace that He will not remove until, you return to your religion.)'' Sunan Abu Dawud 23.3455

That saying makes commerce & agriculture disfavored alternatives to jihad which will bring disgrace to Muslims. Abandoning jihad is equated with abandoning Islam. If you don't know what jihad is, or you think that it is jihad an-nafs, refer to the definition in the footnote to 2:190 or Reliance of the Traveler o9.0.

    How shall we harmonize with a cult which reminds Allah 17 times each day why he wants to burn us? 

1:7. The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).

How shall we harmonize with a cult which curses us and declares war against us? 

2:159. Verily, those who conceal the clear proofs, evidences and the guidance, which We have sent down, after We have made it clear for the people in the Book, they are the ones cursed by Allâh and cursed by the cursers.

2:160. Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.

2:161. Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of the angels and of mankind, combined.

9:29. Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.

9:30. And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allâh's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!

How shall we harmonize with a cult which denies the paternity, deity, crucifixion, death & resurrection of Jesus Christ and depicts him as a genocidal warlord who will "kill the Jews?

Geert Wilders Trial: Prejudice Hits the Fan; Retrial Ordered

Pamela Geller brings word that the defense motion for replacement of the judicial panel on grounds of prejudice has finally been granted. The precipitating  event was a blog post by Hans Jansen in which he revealed an attempt to influence his attitude toward the trial.  The Professor and a member of the appellate court which ordered the trial were invited to a dinner party last May, three days before Jansen testified.  The judge engaged the Professor in conversation about the trial, a breech of judicial ethics.

     The defense moved to recall the witness, the judges denied the motion, holding open the possibility of recalling the witness at a later time. Seemingly marginal prejudicial statements by the chairman of the panel may also have been considered.
    
    The trial will be repeated at some future date with a new panel of judges, prolonging disruption of the defendant's life and increasing his legal expenses.  The trial is a massive waste of time, money and resource and should never have been initiated.  The case was initially declined by the prosecutor and imposed by an appellate court.

    One cartoonist portrayed Wilders plugging a hole in a dike with his finger.  In reality, he is sounding a warning about the leak, not plugging it.  That role is socially significant and he should not be prosecuted for it.

Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu at SCICA His Excellency Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference addressed the 9th Session of the Standing Committee for Information & Cultural Affairs in Dakar, Republic Of Senegal  during the second week of October. '10.  The interesting parts are excerpted below, followed by my commentary, linked through superscripts. You can read the entire speech in context through this link.  

The rising intolerance of Islamic culture and traditions¹ being perpetrated by marginal yet backed by powerful and motivated patrons and ultra right wing extremist political parties² and their followers in parts of the western world is a matter of alarm to all Muslims .

Over the past five years, the OIC had to face daunting and formidable challenges that sought to demean, insult and make mockery of our beloved and revered Prophet Muhammad³ (PBUH), defile the Holy Quran and distort the principles of tolerance⁴ and compassion⁵ embodied in Islam.

The recent incidents of publication of a book containing the insulting cartoons of the noble Prophet (PBUH) by a Danish newspaper and the call to burn the Holy Quran by a pastor in Florida were disseminated by mass media. It fell on the General Secretariat and the Member States us to sensitize the conscience of the international community through use of the media of the dangerous implications⁶ of such actions.

Mr. President, Excellencies,

The OIC had to stand up to a well orchestrated and determined attack to undermine the overwhelming richness and greatness of Islamic culture and traditions and demonize Muslims as terrorists and extremists⁷.

The perpetrators and activists of Islamophobia are doing their best in using all available mechanisms to corrupt the mindset of the ordinary people, in particular the youths, in developing a distorted view⁸ of Islam and Muslims.

This attack on our poses a serious threat to global peace and security⁹. We are engaged with our Western counterparts to sensitize them of the mischief being caused by intolerance of Islam and Muslims and to encourage them to learn, understand and appreciate the values of tolerance and embracement of diversity¹⁰ that lies at the heart of Islamic culture.

This culture of intolerance against Muslims and Islam has to be countered by a more committed political will¹¹ on the part of the OIC Member States and I would appeal to all that we realize that it is high time to rise to the occasion.

Our policy to deal with the issue should not be based on vengeance or revenge but to effectively prove the senseless absurdity and foolhardiness of those involved in taking the world towards the brink of instability and political and social disorder¹².

The Observatory has undertaken an active role on countering attacks on our culture by issuing rejoinders and statements of condemnations. At the same time we are actively engaged with the political leadership and reputed international organizations and institutions of the west to underscore our concerns and to draw them to join us on a common platform to combat this dangerous phenomenon¹³.

1. We can not and will not tolerate Islam's postulate of divine mandate to conquer & subjugate the entire world, killing, raping and pillaging in the process. 
   
   1. 2:216. Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.

And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.

      Narrated Ibn Muhairiz:

      I entered the Mosque and saw Abu Said Al-Khudri and sat beside him and asked him about Al-Azl (i.e. coitus interruptus). Abu Said said, "We went out with Allah's Apostle for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So when we intended to do coitus interrupt us, we said, 'How can we do coitus interruptus before asking Allah's Apostle who is present among us?" We asked (him) about it and he said, 'It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul (till the Day of Resurrection) is predestined to exist, it will exist." 

   4. Sahih Bukhari Volume 5, Book 59, Number 627:

      Narrated Ibn 'Umar:

      The Prophet sent a Sariya towards Najd and I was in it, and our share from the booty amounted to twelve camels each, and we were given an additional camel each. So we returned with thirteen camels each. 

2. "Ultra right wing extremist political parties" paints with a broad brush, smearing those who object to Islamization of Western Civilization with the taint of Nazism. The slur is spewed without naming the parties, specifying their platforms, or offering any evidence.
3. Muhammad has been dead since 638. He can not suffer any material harm from insults.  We are condemned for pointing out the facts that he married a six year old girl and consumated the marriage three years later.  We are condemned for pointing out the fact that he was a terrrorist. We found those facts redcorded in Islam's own canon of oral tradition, from his companions, not from his enemies. Is it possible that Allah selected such a man to be his final prophet?

Abu Huraira added: Allah's Apostle has left the world and now you, people, are bringing out those treasures (i.e. the Prophet did not benefit by them).

4. Tolerance? In Islam?? Where??? Allah will not tolerate any competitors!  [Emphasis added.]
   
   1. 3:85. And whoever seeks a religion other than Islâm, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.

5. We can also see how compassionate Allah & Moe are.[Emphasis added.]
   
   1. 24:2. The woman and the man guilty of illegal sexual intercourse, flog each of them with a hundred stripes. Let not pity withhold you in their case, in a punishment prescribed by Allâh, if you believe in Allâh and the Last Day. And let a party of the believers witness their punishment. (This punishment is for unmarried persons guilty of the above crime but if married persons commit it, the punishment is to stone them to death, according to Allâh's Law).
6. Once again the veiled threat is repeated. "dangerous implications". Muslims, stirred up by rabble rousing sermons, riot, destroying property and killing people. Instead of blaming the instigators & perpetrators, Muslims and their apologists blame Islam's critics. 
7. Terrorism is an intrinsic sacrament of Islam, Established by Allah's word and Moe's excellent example. [Emphasis added.]
   
   1. 3:151. We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers). 
   2. 8:12. (Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes." 
   3. 8:57. If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.
   4. 8:60. Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power, including steeds of war, to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies, of God and your enemies, and others besides, whom ye may not know, but whom God doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of God, shall be repaid unto you, and ye shall not be treated unjustly.
   5. 33:26. And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives. 
   6. 59:13. Verily, you (believers in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) are more awful as a fear in their (Jews of Banî An-Nadîr) breasts than Allâh. That is because they are a people who comprehend not (the Majesty and Power of Allâh).
   7. 1. Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. [Sahih Bukhari 1.7.331]

8. The real 'distorted view' is the "great religion of peace" malarkey spewed by Presidtnts Clinton, Bush & Obama.
9. The threat to global peace and security comes from Islam's demonic mandate to genocidal conquest. Allah demands "great slaughter" and killing and wounding "many of them". [Emphasis added.]
   
   1. 8:67. It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
   2. 47:4. So, when you meet (in fight Jihâd in Allâh's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives). Thereafter (is the time) either for generosity (i.e. free them without ransom), or ransom (according to what benefits Islâm), until the war lays down its burden. Thus [you are ordered by Allâh to continue in carrying out Jihâd against the disbelievers till they embrace Islâm (i.e. are saved from the punishment in the Hell-fire) or at least come under your protection], but if it had been Allâh's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allâh, He will never let their deeds be lost,

10. Tolerance & diversity! Are Jews allowed to enter Saudi Arabia?  How many churches are there in that kingdom? 
11. That paragraph is a coded call for increased support for the annual resolutions "combatting defamation of religions" and the push for a binding protocol to insert the resolutions into ICERD.
12. The implication is that, by criticizing Islam, we  bring the world to the brink of war. That is another incarnation of the veiled threat.
13. What is the danger in exposing the reality of Islamic doctrine & practice to public view?  The only real danger comes from Muslims motivated to kill by those doctrines.

Free Speech vs Shielding Islam from Critics The controversy over attempts to squelch "defamation of religions" is heating up. Individuals and organizations are speaking out. One of my Google Alerts  brought my attention to UN to consider anti-blasphemy laws proposed by the Organization of Islamic Conference, would make criticism of Islam illegal in America    at Saynsumthn’s Blog.

    The lead article, a press release from CFI,  is followed by a year old video clip of Christopher Hitchens and Lou Dobbs discussing the recent resolutions.  After that, we get down to business: a panel discussion on  the conflict between free speech and religious sensitivities.  The subject at hand is Islamic demands for legislation to shield their deen from criticism.  International PEN sponsored the event.

    Several participants are not native speakers of English and some of the concepts under discussion are not easy to express, so much of the discussion is difficult to listen to.  Half of one exchange  has been covered by several blogs including Front Page Magazine. Pakistan's Ambassador let fly with some heated remarks and hauled tail when a Canadian human rights advocate responded forcefully.  In my view, the Ambassador's rant deserves more scrutiny, which it will receive presently. International PEN and its national centers are extremely concerned about ongoing processes in the United Nations aimed at combating defamation of religions. We are also concerned about an initiative by the UN Ad Hoc Committee on Complementary Standards, established in 2007 by the Islamic Conference (OIC) and a group of African countries, to draft a treaty that would ban religious defamation. Human Rights protect individual human beings, not institutions or religions. Criticism of religions and religious practices must be allowed, in particular when religions are viewed from a political point of view. As organizations representing writers, artists, and journalists of all faiths and none, we warn against any regulations prohibiting criticism of any religion or any set of ideas.

Against this background we have asked a group of high profile scholars, writers, and human rights defenders to join us for a side event in Geneva on the afternoon of September 16 in Room XXI of the UN Building.

    Each year for the last decade, the UN and its human rights  commission/council have debated and passed resolutions combating defamation of Islam/religions.  Those resolutions give immoral support to local blasphemy laws, which  facilitate oppression & persecution of minorities  under Islamic  regimes.  The OIC wants them to be given the force of law so that critics of Islam can be prosecuted in the West.  International PEN mentioned the Ad Hoc Cmte. which is working on a binding protocol to ICERD.  Not much is known about the cmte.'s work and most people are unaware of it. Ambassador Zamir Akram, Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Geneva  says he needs more  than one minute.. two?  wanna limit my freedom of expression?  Plenty of opportunity to talk in this building.  But not before this meeting, which needs to hear from me because I speak not only for Pakistan but for the Islamic countries here.  The President doubts it. Gets three minutes; declares himself "coordinator of the OIC".  ,...

 I think what you have started here is an unnecessary debate because we in the Islamic world do not look at this as a debate between freedom of expression and freedom of religion.¹  We are not opposed to freedom of expression, what we are opposed to is the abuse of this freedom to insult a entire religious faith and belief system  as well as the followers of the faith.²  Let me say that we--what we are seeking is equal treatment for Muslims especially in  the West. And we believe that we are being denied this equal treatment because of double standards which Mr. Ramadan has also spoken about and we believe that this attitude on the part of the West is a example of sanctimonious arrogance. ³ 

    Laws in the West do protect religious beliefs and there are countries that have blasphemy laws in the West itself. I can give you the names of the countries that do have them: Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland and I can tell you each and every article in their constitutions which gives them these laws on blasphemy.  The problem sir is also very apparent in the way that the West treats Muslims and the views and beliefs of Muslims and the way it treats for instance, antisemitism.  There are laws in Western countries that will put a person in jail for antisemitic statements or denying the Holocaust.⁴  

    That is a treatment that is not extended to Muslims in this part of the world.⁵  The facts speak  for themselves. We have before us the cartoon issue.⁶ We have before us the minaret--the ban on minarets in Switzerland.  The posters in this ban campaign showed minarets designed as missiles.⁷ The linkage to showing that Muslims are in a way people who resort to violence and are dangerous persons.⁸  There is this film by Geert Wilders called Fitna which equates our holy book the Qur'an with Hitler's Mein Kampf. Not a single verse from the Qur'an has been quoted to demonstrate that Muslims or our Qur'an or our belief promotes violence by Mr. Wilders.⁹  

    The ban on the burqa¹⁰, the ban on the mosque in Manhattan¹¹, and this 'burn a Qur'an day¹²'-- they are all manifestations of the same thing that is going on--that is taking place in the West¹³. Mr. Obama has taken a position against the burning of the Qur'an.¹⁴ And what has he been labeled as?¹⁵  A Muslim and he  himself is denying that he is a Muslim as if being a Muslim is a crime¹⁶. What if he is a Muslim?¹⁷  That is somehow--we feel that it is extremely offensive¹⁸.  

    There is racial profiling against Muslims¹⁹. Even if you are the most respectable person you are separated and you are put into a different pew when you are at an airport.  Everyone of your bags is opened; you are stripped down to your --your clothes are stripped off your body; these are the realities of treatment that is being extended to Muslims in the West today²⁰.

     So it is not about the defamation of Islam, sir, it is about the victimization of Muslims that has to be addressed and that is what we are seeking here.²¹ 

    We are being linked to terrorism whereas terrorism has no religion²²; there are examples of terrorists in every religious denomination.  The IRA were not Muslims, they were Catholics.  So -- and there are several other examples of terrorism that are [unintelligible] . Instead of promoting your view and other Western views; instead of promoting a dialog between Islam and other religious denominations os actually serving the cause of those who want to use religion and want to use this disinformation against Islam²³ to promote greater victimization of Muslims.  There is a failure and actually a refusal to try and understand what we are trying to say.  "Thank you very much. I am a Canadian of Pakistani heritage and I would like to totally rebut what the honorable Ambassador here has said. I have lived in the West for over 25 years, I don't know where he's been living, but I think Muslims have more freedom in the West than they ever have in many Muslim lands. When you talk about inter-faith dialog there is absolutely no intra-faith dialog going on between the Muslim communities and dialog is a two way street.  Mr. Ambassador, sir, I'm responding to what you said, so it is rude of you to get up and leave. However, I will say this for the rest of the audience here, that this is  absolutely unacceptable; I mean freedom of speech is the most important human right we have and I totally support freedom of expression even if it is against my faith.  When he speaks of  Geert Wilders, Geert Wilders has the absolute freedom to say what he wants; it doesn't affect me personally, and neither does it harm my faith.  The Western world, the Canadian Prime Minister and the American President were the first ones to condemn the burning of the Qur'an by the American Pastor Terry Jones. I would never have the freedom to stand up and speak as I do here in my own country of birth.  So certainly, when we are talking about equal treatment of Muslims in the West.  And also I would like to comment about Professor Ramadan spoke at length about western values--the western world; this is not a debate between  Muslims and the West and unfortunately that is what it comes down to that is being divisible  we are speaking here about human rights that extend to all faiths. And lets get over this victim ideology that we are Muslims and we are being persecuted and lets talk about the freedom of everyone in the room here today and lets get to the point of freedom of speech and freedom of religious expression.

2. Their scripture says that Jews "earned Allah's wrath" and "Christians went astray". It says that Allah, men and angels curse us. It describes us as the worst of living creatures. But we must not be allowed to reveal how their Profit married a six year old girl, murdered critics and was a terrorist. 
3. Is there a better example of hypocrisy? 
4. The U.S.A. does not have a blasphemy law, neither does it outlaw Holocaust denial.  We allow open debate.
5. Criminalization of Holocaust denial is not a service to a religion, it is an exaggerated and mis-applied fear of a Nazi revival.  Holocaust denial is not analogous to factual & rational criticism of Islam.  
6. The Motoons, like most good comedy, include an element of exaggeration. They reflect the fact that Muhammad was, by his own admission, a terrorist. Here is what he said:: " I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy)," and  "Allah made me victorious by awe, (by His frightening my enemies) for a distance of one month's journey. " The quotes come from Sahih Bukhari 4.52.220 & 1.7.331.

8. To the extent that Muslims are believers; to the extent that they implement Allah's imperatives they are dangerous and violent.  
9. Fitna involves several verses from the Qur'an which are documented here: Fitna: Supporting Documentation 03/27/08.  Those verses prove  clearly and beyond doubt  that Islam is intrinsically violent and aggressive, by design.
10. The burqa ban combines a tangential swipe of the cat's paw with a valid security interest. Anonymity can lead to impunity.
11. There are valid reasons for objecting to the mosque of triumph at ground zero. Even Tariq Ramadan agrees that the Park 51 project is an unnecessary provocation and insult to the surviving victims of the attack.  If built, it will serve as a psychological boost to the proponents of terrorism.
12. Besides being a tangetial attack on Islam, burn a Qur'an day served to raise public awareness of the content of that vile volume of lies & threats.  The books that were torn and burned were translations, not sacred books.  Only the Arabic text is considered sacred and authentic.
13. Growing  public awareness of the threats posed by Islam, both militant, demographic and political, is bringing about increasing resistance & objection to the spread of the war cult. 
14. President Obama condemned burn a Qur'an day.  He has not condemned Bible burning with equal intensity.  Neither has he vociferously condemned burning Christians and churches. His bias is evident.
15. President Obama was identified as a Muslim long before his condemnation of bun a Qur'an day. His Muslim father makes him Muslim by default. His expressed admiration for the Adhan is another marker.  His enrollment in primary schools as a Muslim  documents  the obvious.  His conmversion to  Christianity is an obvious political convenience.  His expressed "duty"  to protect Muslims from  negative stereotyping  stands outas clear evidence; it is not in his job description!
16. Is membership in the Mafia a crime?  Should membership in an  organized crime syndiicate be a crime? Moe began his criminal career with raids on camel caravans returning from trade missions.  He graduated to invading local Jewish settlements, then to invading nearby kingoms.  He sent extortion letters to his intended victims.  He said that the "keys to the treasures of the world" had been given to him. He told his companions: By Allah, I am not afraid that you will be poor, but I fear that worldly wealth will be bestowed upon you as it was bestowed upon those who lived before you. So you will compete amongst yourselves for it, as they competed for it and it will destroy you as it did them." He said" The spoils of war were not made lawful for any people before us, This is because Allah saw our weakness and humility and made them lawful for us.".
17. A Muslim President, when America is under attack and threat of attack by Islam, is an exemplar of treason, the equivalent of a Nazi President in WW2.

19. Who hijacked those aircraft? Was it elderly Baptist widows? Who tried to blow up Times Square? Was it a middle aged Catholic?  Whp are the perpetrators of Islamic acts of terrorism?  When we hear hoofbeats, we look for horses, not unicorns.
20. Subjecting all passengers to intrusive searches is  time & money wasting idiocy.  The simple solution: exclude Muslims from  mass transit.
21. What is in the titles of the UN resolutions? "Combating defamation of Islam"..."combating defamation of religions". If the issue is 'victimization, why is that not reflected in the titles?

It is the point where the means and the end meet and merge. Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon
          the enemy; it is me decision we wish to impose upon him."
