This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

OK. Stop With The Stupid Investigations Already

News Max reports that they "investigated" and found that no matter how much money NYC gets from HLS, they are not even remotely close to being prepared for a WMD attack.

All this money being thrown around to "prepare" for a WMD attack is truly a waste of funds, in my estimation. All this program is for is to make people "feel better" and "feel safer". BAH! Waste of our tax dollars to say the least.

If the United States has enough funds on hand to throw it all away on programs such as this, all this tells me is that someone has their head so far up someone's arse it isn't even worth a scornful chuckle.

Here is a suggestion. Take all the BILLIONS of dollars lining someone's undeserving pockets, and take it ALL away and redirect it to HUMINT and get folks ON THE GROUND mingling (like I used to do) and get The Big Scoop the proper way.

Our HUMINT capabilities right now is embarrassingly at an extremely dangerous level.

Alas, our CONgress Critters would "Rather" deal with an "incident" after the fact so they can blame someone else for their ineptness to lead.

1787The Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia began to debate a draft of the U.S. Constitution.

1914Austria-Hungary declared war against Russia, and Serbia declared war against Germany.

1998 Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky spent 8 1/2 hours testifying before a grand jury about her relationship with President Bill Clinton.

Bread and a Circus, Part II of II...Michael Yon!

Bread and a Circus, Part II of II

The atmosphere in Baqubah was choked with fear and local authorities were mired in inertia. But the people were relieved and looking for signs that the changes made in the past two weeks were going to last. Restarting food deliveries, after they had been stopped by Baghdad for almost a year, would be a strong indicator that stability was at hand.
Read Part I here.

After fueling the trucks in the convoy, we headed to Baghdad to get the food. The trucks took an exit down a route that we did not follow, because it had not been cleared of bombs. Sometimes bombs are so large they are buried under roads using earthmoving machines and sit for months waiting for someone just like us, taking a shortcut only to get launched to God. The shortcut caused an hour difference in arrival times, and the break in contact led to frustrating hours of additional delay, tooling around Baghdad trying to find the warehouse, and re-establishing contact with all the trucks. But if there were any huge bombs waiting for us, we avoided them, and this dispatch got written.

Identity Politics...Downfall of America; An International Embarrassment

This right here is too funny in a not so funny way. It isn't funny as far as a HAHA is funny. It is funny in that the Leftinistra are whining...AGAIN! Funny as in, WTF? Funny as in, this is not known? Funny as in, you have got to be kidding me!

Read on.

From Slate:

The Los Angeles Times leads with a look at how the partisan wrangling between lawmakers in Congress has been escalating since Democrats took control and reached a high point last week. Although there was much condemnation of all this infighting, both sides have been turning up the heat, figuring "they have more to gain by warring with their rivals than by working with them." Everyone has much to lose from the deadlock but few expect the mood to change when Congress comes back, particularly since Iraq will be at the forefront again.
Get a load of this headliner:
Los Angeles Times
Partisanship serves parties' interests
And the sub-title is this:
The GOP sees more advantage in disrupting congressional business, and Democrats see no incentive to accommodate the minority.
OK. First off. What is "wrong" with the image running through your mind as you read the title and sub-title? The quote? If you are a closed-mind moonbat, you will readily proclaim the verbiage to be The Truth. If you are someone like...say...me, you will read that and laugh scornfully and proclaim, "So what else is knew?" Someone like me would proclaim the verbiage as "This Is Bull!"

Simply amazing.

For years and years and years and years, since the time of Carter and the few years before him, the Leftinistra have used their badgering techniques on the GOP types that have always maintained or worked hard at maintaining, civil discourse. This has been The Way up until recent years...more so currently.

The GOP Conservatives have FINALLY started to fight fire with fire and some have even taken their gloves off. We can no longer afford to play nice-nice. So, now, it is called "partisanship" when what it really is, and putting it bluntly, is the attitude of STFU! And here is why.

THIS IS MY GUT CALL BASED ON LIFE'S EXPERIENCE...so don't give me a ration of crap because MY gloves have been off for decades and I will trounce and pounce with no mercy. At this point, mercy is tantamount to a stay at Bellevue.

The Democrats MAY have run on the platform of "bring the troops home" but I don't believe that for one minute. I believe that in their heart of hearts, they KNOW that we cannot just walk away, no matter what you call it and the manner of which the "walk out" is termed. It is suicide for the Iraqis and Americans for aeons to come. The Battle MUST be won and THEY KNOW IT!

I believe that they used their moonobat base to win elections in close states in 11/06. They called it "a new direction" in Iraq. They KNEW as most of us knew then as we STILL know now, the then in place ROE was as retarded as Forest Gump. I know it. You know it and so did they. The new direction demanded by the American people was a VICTORY. They knew it. You know it. And so did I. Many conservatives...the hard-core ones and the moderate ones, stayed home. Had they showed up to vote, we would not be in the predicament of which we find the political bodies in at the moment.

The blathered and bantering about of The Vaunted democratic Party has gotten this country where, exactly? Exactly no where? Correct. We are right smack down in the middle of THE WORST Congressioanal Session if the history of this country. The all so hated GWB has OVER 10 times the approval rating as does the Democratic Party led "majority". CONgress has sunk to an all-time low all because the DNC LIED to the base about The War In Iraq.

When you strip down all the rhetoric; when you take the time to dissect the words spoken to various groups across the country from the Politicos; there is no way on God's Green earth that anybody in their right mind is going to pull troops out of Iraq before the job is done.

Anybody that has a head on their shoulders that are of sound mind knows beyond a shadow of a doubt that a "political solution" is NOT possible without a military victory. Cases in point; WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, Grenada, Contra-Sandinista, Kosovo, to name a few. There are more examples.

WWI and WWII and Grenada; political solutions came AFTER the war was won.

Vietnam; "political solutions" lost that war.

Korea; "political solutions" wrought a "tie"...the area, to this day is STILL at war. The war was NEVER settled. The declared war on the South by the North and the declared war on the North by the South has NEVER been rescinded. This is the longest cease fire in history.

Grenada; "political solutions" came AFTER the smallest war in history was won.

Kosovo; "political solutions" have not worked because the war is on-going.

Contra-Sandinista; your guess is as good as mine.

Now, they, the Democrats and RINOs, are using the moonbat base in the SAME way and we see how the KOSmonoffs' convention was a flop if not a total waste of time, effort and money. Just look at the "conflict" taking place between The Fraud Sheehan and The Fraud Pelosi! Pelosi has stated that impeachment of GWB and Cheney will NOT happen. Censure will NOT happen. Why? Because they did NOT A THING to warrant it but it sure does excite the moonbat base.

Look at the "conflict" going on between the top three muts of the DNC. Edwards whines about "they want to shut me up" and Barack said he wants to nuke Pakistan and Hillary says she will bring the troops home. Please. The irony of the ultimate poli-speak jargon is oh so sadly comical.

Keeping the issues simple is the easiest way but it doesn't win elections.

If the Democrats, that KNOW their rhetoric is disingenuous at the minimum would tell their moonbat base to "go to your corners and don't get up until we tell you to" and if the Republicans would clean up their act, The War In Iraq would have been won LONG ago...like 1991.

Rant to be continued I am sure...

Stupid People With Guns?

And here ya have it, folks. Much like the rambling moron troll over at the worse blog in the known Blogosphere, the RNC run GOP.com blog, mamalicious once said, "The miltary is nothing but a bunch of stupid people with guns".

With that, here is a small portion of the KOSmonoff round up:

Well, the YearlyKos convention is over, but the nutroots are still marching on. A few weeks ago, Kos himself assailed “nasty rhetoric” that was “rampant in the primary war diaries” of the Daily Kos website. Yet, the site went ahead and featured a troop-bashing rant by Saturday Night Live has-been A. Whitney Brown, who wrote:

“Do I still support the individual men and women who have given so much to serve their country? No. I think they’re a bunch of idiots. I also think they’re morally retarded.”

The guy is itching for more attention. I know I’m violating the no-troll-feeding rule here, but the post sheds needed light on the same anti-military animus that led to the squelching of Sergeant David D. Aguina at the YKos convention last week (see Rick Moran’s interview).

Brown has posted another diatribe at Kos repeating his smear on our men and women in uniform as “morally retarded.” A snippet:

Emphasis on military. There’s no political progress whatsoever to speak of.

I wonder if they deliberately chose Fox for this just to squirt a little more lemon juice in the nutroots’ eyes or if Fox was the only outfit that was willing to have them on.

The latter, I’m guessing.

Lively Discussion On Bombing Religious Sites

Over 2 years ago, Tom Tancredo made a comment about deterrence in regards to the Islamic Menace of which we face in these modern times. This has touched off lively debates among the demented Leftinistra, taking it all out of context, and among the RIGHT Ones, the conservatives. Whereas it is indeed abhorrent to blatantly bomb into submission our enemies by targeting their religious shrines and facilities, the discussion has taken a turn.

Wake Up America has a discussion transpiring that is the PERFECT manner of which to conduct a lively discussion. Perhaps the moonbats would do well to learn how to debate issues with facts as well as opinions, where the facts are readily discernible from the opinions and feelings offered for discussion.

Members of the "group" called Patriots For Conservative Values come from a very wide and diverse background. None of us, however, are "Bushmonoffs". Most of us are grateful that GWB has been the President of the United States these past years in these troubling times. Most of us are grateful that GWB has been the CIC during this Time of War.

There are NONE that are satisfied with GWB on several issues, to wit, the ROE of days past and the Shamnesty atrocity.

ALL of us demand a Victory In Iraq and we have been fighting tooth and nail for that cause to unfold...and we are witnessing a Victory In Iraq unfolding before our very eyes...and the Leftinistra shudder and blink. They know that they are wrong and have been as wrong can be and have used their "wrong headedness" to promote their vile and unpatriotic rantings on their path to the White House and Supreme Lording over The Masses in a communist coup called rigged elections via lies and contemptible gyrations of the contenders.

Unlike the Moonbat Leftinistra that support and promote Defeat In Iraq that have no evidence whatsoever to support their claims of War Crimes perpetrated by the current administration, we conservatives have the facts of the issues on our side.

I posted a comment in the comment board of the thread mentioned above and it was truncated because it was too long. I will finish the comment here as part of this post. The truncated portion will be identified by change in color and setting.
I can see and empathize with both sides.

Having engaged THIS particular enemy on many levels, I DO have the attitude of "kill them all BEFORE they kill us all". It just matters the how and when.

That may be a piss-poor attitude...it may not. It is what it is. Having said that, I will try to wrangle a way to explain it because it is truly complex.

"They" do NOT think like us. ANYTHING we do, honorably or not, matters not to them. Their values of life and death are IDENTICAL to the Asian mindset. That is why the PTO was so horrendous and why GIs went berserk with the flame throwers and facing down the BONZAI! BONZAI! BONZAI!

One of my uncles survived Guadalcanal, Saipan and Iwo Jima...physically. Until the day he died 8 years ago, he could not be in the same proximity of an Asian whether they were American citizens or not. It was what it was. There was no engineered animosity towards the Asian culture and he is said to have cried and cried for days and days if he even saw an Asian.

He would absolutely FUME when he would hear moonbats wine and dine the "Islamic Hordes". He would say, "Kill them all while we have a chance because, one day, they will be here...mark my words".

The Islamic Menace WILL one day possess FUNCTIONAL WMDs and they will NOT hesitate to use them against us.

American SOP, is "like retaliation". You hit us with bio or chemical weapons, it IS THE SAME AS A NUKE and we will strike in like terms. That is the Official Policy in the conduct of war. Very few know this and it is scary that which we face.

Rest assured that there IS a plan and the President ALWAYS has the football nearby. On any given day, targets or potential targets are predetermined and programmed...EVERY DAY, bar none. It merely depends on where the strike is that determines where we strike...how and when. No one speaks of it because it is barbaric and just thinking about it makes my skin crawl.

The barking moonbats are dragging us closer and closer to That Day...mark MY words.

War is hell and war sucks. There is no getting around war. Wars upon wars will always be with us until the end of time.

I do disagree that we should arbitrarily nuke Mecca just because it would piss them off and "maybe" think about what happened and it would also make us feel good...maybe...that we zapped the bastards and good riddance.

"Take THAT raghead!"

Very few ever stops to think about the men that prepare, transport, deliver, upload, arm, target and finally loose the nuke that sends the target into the upper stratosphere.

Very few ever stops to imagine one man taking aim at another and deciding to pull the triggers is like. Until one has actually done just that, the concept will always and forever be foreign and unimaginable.

Tancredo has a point but "The When" is off-base. One has to have The Will to carry out The Bluff when The Bluff is called.

I am confident that Mecca is NOT targeted but the evil thougt of sending the city of Mecca into the stratosphere is bone-chillingly humorous in that, "We sure showed them, eh?" However, at this juncture, my personal take is that is a leap of which we should not partake thereof.

We are indeed better than that and I feel that the nuking of Mecca is an emotion born out of frustration and concern over the evilness of the Jihadis. The Jihadis know what the SOP response to an attack on America via WMDs are but they are correct in that there isn't a single politician that has the cajones to carry it out over fear of "What will people think of me?" bullshit.

We may very well never find out and I pray every day that we never do find out.
And there it is and there you have it. My take. My OPINIONS. My gut call.

If you read the comments on that board, no one attacked anyone. Civil discourse was abundantly clear and that is the way it should be.

Haul Down Those White Flags!

The below was posted at the Patriots For Conservative Values

We're winning in Iraq.

Ok, I said it. It's crazy. Stupid. Naïve. Hopelessly optimistic. And true. Something has changed, and the cut-and-run crowd in Congress did not get the memo. They insist the war is lost and we
should get out yesterday. But the war has taken a turn for the better, like a patient making a sudden recovery after years on life support.

"Here is the most important thing Americans need to understand: We are finally getting somewhere in Iraq, at least in military terms."
That's not from a Bush loyalist. It's from two analysts at the liberal Brookings Institution, who say they have "harshly criticized the Bush administration's miserable handling of Iraq." After an eight-day tour of the war zone, they wrote a New York Times op-ed that had to give an extra-strength Maalox heartburn to Sen. Harry "this war is lost" Reid.

In "A War We Just Might Win," Michael O'Hanlon and Kenneth Pollack said they saw
"a potential to produce not necessarily 'victory,' but a sustainable stability that both we and the Iraqis could live with."
They said morale is high under Gen. David Petraeus; civilian fatalities are down by a third since the "surge' of 30,000 additional troops began in mid-June; former allies of al-Qaida have turned against the terrorists; Iraqi military and police units are reliable and effective.

That good news was echoed by New York Times reporter John Burns on the Hugh Hewitt radio show.
"I think there's no doubt that those extra 30,000 American troops are making a difference," Burns said.
He warned that a retreat would "lead to much higher, and indeed potentially cataclysmic levels of violence, beyond anything we've seen to date."
"And the question then arises, catastrophic as the effect on Iraq and the region would be, you know, what would be the effect on American credibility in the world, American power in the world, and America's sense of itself?"
Michael Yon, a reporter embedded with Operation Arrowhead Ripper, says horrific cruelty by al-Qaida has driven Iraqis to our side. In one battle, he saw
"unexpected and overwhelming cooperation of ordinary Iraqi citizens, who pointed out the enemy and many of the bombs set to ambush troops."
"I sense there has been a fundamental shift in Iraq," Yon wrote. "One officer called it a 'change in the seas,' and I believe his words were accurate. Something has changed. The change is fundamental, and for once seems positive."
Success in Iraq could be one of those tectonic shifts that completely rearranges the landscape: It's a San Francisco earthquake for politicians who prematurely waved the white flag. Rep. James Clyburn admitted as much, saying that for Democrats, good news
"would be a really big problem for us, no question about that."
Some in the antiwar left would rather see America lose than see Bush succeed. But most Americans won't forgive losers who tried to snatch defeat from the hands of success.

Staunch supporters of the war and the troops, such as Sen. John McCain, would be vindicated. "Despite this progress," he said of the surge,
"Democrats today advocate a precipitous withdrawal of American forces from Iraq. They are wrong, and their approach portends catastrophe for both Iraq and the United States. To fail in Iraq risks creating a sanctuary for al-Qaida, sparking a full scale civil war, genocide and violence that could spread far beyond Iraq's borders. ... We cannot and must not lose this war."
President Bush's anemic popularity would improve. But even those of us who stuck by him wonder: What took so long? Why did it take four years to finally send Gen. "U.S. Grant" Petraeus to do the job right?

Ironically, recent success underlines the previous failure of Bush and Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld - who begins to look like Bush's Gen. McClellan, whose incompetence was finally exposed by his replacement.

The war is hardly over. Iraq's politicians are nearly as contemptible as our own. The media will bang on their bad-news drum all day. But Bush should grab a megaphone and tell America we're finally winning.

About 3,600 soldiers have been killed in Iraq. Each one was someone's son, father, husband, brother or friend. Every one of them deserves better leadership.
"In a wider sense, the war is as most wars: an evolution from blunders to wisdom," says military historian Victor Davis Hanson.
As in the Civil War, World War I and World War II,
"the key is the support of a weary public for an ever improving military that must nevertheless endure a final storm before breaking the enemy."
For all the soldiers and their families who believe in the mission, the hasty exodus of Iraq-war political deserters has been as chilling as winter at Valley Forge.

But they said George Washington was crazy too.

My Debut

Aug 5, 10:30AM
My debut 8/30/07

Greetings, y'all!

On the debut show of Take Our Country Back on Blog Talk Radio with Snooper, we will be talking about the nearly successful sell-out of the American People by our CONgress Critters to the ideals and ideologies of proven-to-be ineffective and unsuccessful political processes called Socialism and Communism.

For years and years; decades and decades, the American People have been indoctrinated to these processes in the guise of "Progressive". I have always asked what the term "Progressive" means and have received no clear-cut answers. The answers I have received and heard of are shallow and evasive. Apparently, no one of the left side of the aisle knows what the term means and/or implies, either.

Recently, in the CNN Yawn Tube "debates" for the Democratic contenders of the highest office in the known universe, Hillary Clinton, Czarina, Queen of Pork, was asked if she was a liberal. She replied that she was a "modern progressive".

"Progressing" towards what? If those of us old enough to remember listens carefully to those which espouse Progressivism, the red flags pop into view and the warning klaxons of impending and approaching dangers begin to wail in a fevered pitch.

All Progressivism is to the educated and the alert is the Politically Correct way of using Identity Politics mingled with Multiculturalism to utilize the touchy-feely emotional diatribe of those which espouse Socialism first, making the merger into Communism and easier reach to make.

Once Socialism takes hold in a country, the populace is suppressed and oppressed enough for the Czars to waltz in unabated. Under such a form of government, the wealth of all belongs to The State and in theory, that wealth is spread amongst the population. The theory is defective in that it never happens. The wealth of all belongs to and stays within the ruling elite and the populace is subjugated to slavery to the Nth degree.

I hope you call in to the show and participate. It will help if you were to go to Go Publius and read the long suppressed Thesis of Hillary. I contend that Hillary will be the DNC Nominee and she is clearly a Clear and Present Danger to the future of this country we call the United States of America.

JB Williams-Campaign Analysis

Once again, JB Williams has the beat. Pretty good analysis follows.

Unconventional Thompson

Crazy like a Fox!

Written by JB Williams

Still unofficial candidate Fred Thompson has promised an unconventional campaign, if he runs, and it appears that he wasn’t kidding. Conservatives are getting increasingly impatient for a formal announcement from Thompson and here’s why…

Democrats are leading Republicans in the presidential fundraising race by more than $100 million and every day that goes by without closing that gap makes GOP’ers as nervous as a cat on a hot tin roof.

Barack Obama is leading the fundraising field at a reported $59 million raised, followed by the former First Victim of President Bill Clinton, who has raised a reported $53 million. Hillary moved $10 million left over from her last senate race into her presidential campaign, bringing her total to $63 million and she is leading Democrat polls with a safe double digit lead over all other challengers.

Trial lawyers are once again pouring millions into the John Edwards campaign. But this time he is running far behind, raising only $23.1 million, less than half that of Obama or Clinton. Former Clinton foreign policy guru Bill Richardson has raised a surprising $13.3 million and Chris Dodd comes in fifth, raising a reported $12 million.

Joe Biden, Dennis Kucinich and Mike Gravel are on there way out of the race due to dismal support in the bank and the polls.

GOP’ers are wondering if any Republican can catch up with fundraising juggernauts Obama and Clinton and Thompson’s sitting on the sidelines isn’t helping that cause at all. But is this the measuring stick Thompson is using when deciding the timing of a formal announcement? Clearly not…

Things look quite different over in the Republican primaries race where the guy with the most money is not leading in the polls.

Mitt Romney is leading the GOP fundraising race at a reported $44.4 million raised, some of it his own money. However, Romney has peaked at around 10% in GOP polls, running at best third or fourth and he appears to be stuck there no matter how much money he raises or spends. He has already spent most of his campaign fund, with only $3.1 million left to play with after debt, as of August 1st.

Leading most GOP polls by a slim single digit margin is NY Mayor Rudy Giuliani who has raised a reported $35.6 million, but only has $18.3 million left in his campaign coffers. John McCain, who is steadily sinking in the polls and on the ropes, has raised and spent a reported $25.3 million and he’s barely hanging on with only $1.4 million left in his beleaguered campaign fund.

Sam Brownback has raised and spent $3.3 million with less than a $500,000 left on hand, Ron Paul has raised only $3 million, but still has $2.3 million on hand and Tom Tancredo has spent all but $500,000 of the $2.8 million he has raised.

At the bottom of the GOP field is Jim Gilmore who has already dropped out of the race, Tommy Thompson, whose campaign is drowning in red ink after raising and spending only $890,000, Mike Huckabee who has $400,000 of his $1.3 million left and Duncan Hunter who has spent all but $200,000 of his $1.3 million raised.

Beyond leaders Giuliani, Romney and McCain, none of whom can break above 35% with GOP voters, are “the others” who cannot break above 3% with GOP voters. The GOP has every right to be nervous about 2008, based upon this dismal field of fast failing candidates. The DNC is looking at the 2008 election as a lock and GOP’ers are reviewing the suicide options!

Then along comes unconventional Fred…late to the party, or is he?

He’s not yet in the race and has not yet spent a penny, but he is running a solid second in GOP polls, first in some. His fundraising is not yet officially reported as he only started raising funds a few short weeks ago. Upon announcing his exploratory committee, he announced a goal to raise $5 million by September. He is expected to report raising $3.46 million over the last three weeks for his testing the waters campaign, which should make hitting his goal of raising $5 million by September a breeze.

Thompson hasn’t raised as much money because he just started raising money three weeks ago and he’s not yet officially in the race. But he hasn’t spent any money yet either and he’s steadily moving ahead in the polls, running second or even first without running at all…

We’ve read all the expert analysis about how Fred can’t “catch up” with the BIG campaign fundraising candidates who have been at it for months now. But let’s take a less “expert” more realistic look at where Thompson is actually sitting in the race at this moment.

Already, only one GOP candidate has more money “on hand” than Thompson. After months of raising money, Rudy Giuliani has a reported $18.3 million on hand as his campaign moves forward and Thompson is already second with $3.46 million on hand, after only three weeks of raising money and not yet officially in the race. Romney is now third with $3.1 million on hand and Paul is fourth with $2.3 million on hand.

Yet unannounced Thompson is running a very tight second behind announced front-runner Giuliani in GOP polls. On this basis, Thompson appears to be in the catbird seat, if you ask me.

Clearly, most conservative voters are still sitting on their wallets waiting for a candidate they can actually support to enter the race. Only time will tell if Thompson is that candidate or not. But strategically speaking, unconventional Fred seems crazy like a fox for his deliberate pace in entering the race.

As he takes his good old fashioned time to set his staff and his platform, he is raising without spending and allowing an already overcrowded field of campaign losers to thin out before formally announcing. He’s either the smartest man in the race, or the luckiest fool in the race. Crazy? Like a fox maybe…

Whether reading the polls or the campaign fundraising tea leaves, it appears to me that the GOP nomination is indeed Thompson’s to lose. If those sitting on their wallets are waiting for Thompson’s formal announcement as I expect, myself being one of them, then hold on to your hats brothers and sisters. Thompson could set new records for the most money ever raised in the shortest period of time, once he announces.

I’m happy to bet my money on that eventuality at this point. The remaining question is how he might stack up against Obama, Clinton or Gore in the general election next year.

According to my crystal ball, Obama will continue to raise money, but he will never win the DNC nomination no matter how much he raises. Not because he’s black, but because he is patently unqualified and even the most uneducated Americans know it.

The Clintons will continue to raise money too. It’s what they do best.

However, although Hillary is the likely DNC nominee as of today, once she faces real opposition and is forced to answer for all the scandals and criminal charges that make up the entire Clinton political legacy, Democrats will once again find themselves saddling up good ole Al Gore for one more ride. Howard Dean is already slipping under the covers to cozy up to Al. Dean too, knows that no other Democrat has even a remote chance at the White House in 2008…

My money is on a Thompson – Gore battle for all the marbles in the 2008 general election and nobody is more experienced at losing that battle than Al Gore…

So I say to my fellow conservatives, - don’t slit your wrist just yet. I know what the “experts” are saying, but the experts aren’t going to decide what happens between now and November 2008. Us average folks will decide what happens next… We’ll let the experts figure out what happened later.

My checkbook is waiting to hear the Thompson platform straight from the old war horse’s mouth. I’m a common American looking for a common American leader who believes in common American ideals, like me. I’m not looking for an old man or a young man, just a good man. I don’t like hardcore right-wingers much more than hardcore left-wingers, which I don’t like at all.

I suspect I have lots of company…

Run when you’re ready Fred - And don’t screw it up!

Driving The Liberals Into Self-Absorbed Frenzies Politics Aug 30, 1:00AM
The Leftinistra, the armies of the socialist liberals, have, since the late 1950's and early 1960's, tried to emplace socialistic/communistic and "progressive" views, principles and policies into the American Way Of Life and they have nearly succeeded.

The Victory Caucus Interviews Mitt Romney

On 8/2/07, Mitt Romney was interviewed and he had quite a bit to say about the "surge" that is now working and the democrats cannot stand because it means their doom in '08. The Party which OWNS defeat in Iraq will soon suffer massive defeats in the upcoming elections.

Good News For America...Horrible News For the Democratic Party Leaders

Ain't it a shame?

Jeff Emanuel reporting in from Kuwait:

It's no secret that the Middle East is one of the hottest places on earth. However, even when time and effort has been spent preparing for it -- including hikes and runs in the heat of the day in Atlanta, Israel, and Jordan -- there still is nothing that can keep down the sinking feeling that comes when, upon landing in Kuwait City in the early evening, the pilot says "the temperature in KC is 118 degrees Fahrenheit" -- and the Kuwaiti lady sitting next to you says, "Praise Allah -- a cool day!"

Jeff Emanuel, a special operations military veteran who served in Iraq, will be reporting from "Inside the Surge" in that country throughout August and September. In order to perform this mission, he is dependent on the generosity of his readers; so, if you are so inclined, please consider clicking the link at right and donating to help support his effort.

BlackfiveTV moving right along
I have been mucking about with video for a while, mostly trying different things. I have weak gear and no real talent, but I think some has been passable and the concept is valid. This will be the second installment of Blackfive TV and we are looking to raise our game up here. We have a couple of major sponsorship deals underway that may allow us to have some actual professional production done.
The Fourth Rail
As Iraqi and US security forces are conducting clearing operations in Samarra, US Special Forces killed Haitham Sabah Shaker Mohammed al Badri, al Qaeda's emir in Salahadin province. Al Badri was a high value target who was behind the February 2006 bombing of the Golden Dome of the Al Askaria mosque and this year's destruction of the two remaining minarets at the mosque. He was "in charge of an al Qaeda unit consisting of two Iraqis, four Saudis and a Tunisian," Reuters reported.

The progress FINALLY getting properly covered by The New Media as well has the stragglers of the once "Main Stream Media" has the Moonbat Brigades in a tail spin. That claim is "Rather" evident from the videos showing the moonbattiness of the Daily KOSmonoffs at their silly little irrelevant convention.

As I have said many times before, the Leftinistra are slipping into the abyss of obscurity.

There isn't any "buzz" about this at memeorandum yet there sure is at The Victory Caucus.

Good On VP Cheney!!

VP Dick Cheney Protects Us Against Hillary

August 4th, 2007 by snooper

And she is hopping mad! Maybe if she hadn’t written about her true political underpinnings, she wouldn’t be the target that and her wanna-be First Man(?) are.

From News Max:

Presidential hopeful New York Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is hopping mad at Vice President Dick Cheney for charging her with “reinforcing enemy propaganda.”

In a letter to supporters, Clinton recalls that after she wrote a letter to Defense Secretary Robert Gates asking him to “provide Congress with briefings of contingency plans for withdrawal — or an explanation of why no such plans exist,” she got a response from Under Secretary of Defense Eric Edelman who told her that discussing plans for withdrawal of our troops from Iraq “reinforces enemy propaganda.”

That, fumed Clinton, “was an outrageous response — and a dangerous one. Planning for withdrawal isn’t just common sense. It is vital to ensuring our troops return home safe.”

As long as this idiot Hillary rambles on about troops withdrawal, she and her kind put our troops further into harms way by enabling the enemy, plain and simple.

And her “candid concern” about the troops is laughably a criminal act in this DAV’s opinion.
