This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

The Devil is in the Details!

On Page 15 of the Ulama's letter to Christianity, we find this:

Finally, as Muslims, and in obedience to the Holy Qur’an, we ask Christians to come together with us on the common essentials of our two religions … that we shall worship none but God, and that we shall ascribe no partner unto Him, and that none of us shall take others for lords beside God … (Aal ‘Imran, 3:64).
Let this common ground be the basis of all future interfaith dialogue between us, for our common ground is that on which hangs all the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 22:40). God says in the Holy Qur’an:
Say (O Muslims): We believe in God and that which is revealed unto us and that which was revealed unto Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes, and that which Moses and Jesus received, and that which the prophets received from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and unto Him we have surrendered. / And if they believe in the like of that which ye believe, then are they rightly guided. But if they turn away, then are they in schism, and God will suffice thee against them. He is the Hearer, the Knower. (Al-Baqarah, 2:136-137)
They preach to us about Common essentials; and immediately demand that we profane Jesus Christ. Islam denies his deity, crucifixion, death and resurrection. It is Christians who must abandon their faith; Islam does not compromise!

The next to last sentence of the quote from al-Baqarah conceals more than it reveals. "But if they turn away , then are they in schism, and God will suffice thee against them. He is the Hearer, the Knower."
  1. "if they turn away" is a common expression in the Qur'an. How is it used? As a pretext for war. Turn now to Ibn Kathir's Tafsir. Good News for the Believers of Eternal Delight
    (73. O Prophet! Strive hard against the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and be harsh against them, their abode is Hell, -- and worst indeed is that destination.) (74. They swear by Allah that they said nothing (bad), but really they said the word of disbelief, and they disbelieved after accepting Islam, and they resolved that (plot) which they were unable to carry out, and they could not find any cause to do so except that Allah and His Messenger had enriched them of His bounty. If then they repent, it will be better for them, but if they turn away; Allah will punish them with a painful torment in this worldly life and in the Hereafter. And there is none for them on earth as a protector or a helper.)
Threatening the Disbelievers with Torment in This Life and the Hereafter

(And I will make those who follow you superior to those who disbelieve till the Day of Resurrection. Then you will return to Me and I will judge between you in the matters in which you used to dispute. As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers.)

This is what Allah did to the Jews who disbelieved in `Isa and the Christians who went to the extreme over him. Allah tormented them in this life; they were killed, captured, and lost their wealth and kingdoms. Their torment in the Hereafter is even worse and more severe, ... ) (62. Verily, this is the true narrative, and there is no god except Allah. And indeed, Allah is the Almighty, the All-Wise.) (63. And if they turn away, then surely, Allah is All-Aware of those who do mischief.)

  2. "God will suffice thee against them"

Turn now to Ibn Kathir's Tafsir.
Encouraging Believers to fight in Jihad; the Good News that a Few Muslims can overcome a Superior Enemy Force

Allah encourages His Prophet and the believers to fight and struggle against the enemy, and wage war against their forces. Allah affirms that He will suffice, aid, support, and help the believers against their enemies, even if their enemies are numerous and have sufficient supplies, while the believers are few. Allah said,

﴿يَـأَيُّهَا النَّبِىُّ حَرِّضِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى الْقِتَالِ﴾

(O Prophet! Urge the believers to fight), encouraged and called them to fight. The Messenger of Allah used to encourage the Companions to fight when they faced the enemy. On the day of Badr when the idolators came with their forces and supplies, he said to his Companions,

«قُومُوا إِلَى جَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا السَّمَوَاتُ وَالْأَرْض»

(Get ready and march forth towards a Paradise as wide as the heavens and earth.)

`Umayr bin Al-Humam said, "As wide as the heavens and earth'' The Messenger said,

«نَعَم»

(Yes) `Umayr said, "Excellent! Excellent!'' The Messenger asked him,

«مَا يَحْمِلُكَ عَلَى قَوْلِكَ: بَخٍ بَخ»

(What makes you say, `Excellent! Excellent!') He said, "The hope that I might be one of its dwellers.'' The Prophet said,

«فَإِنَّكَ مِنْ أَهْلِهَا»

(You are one of its people.) Umayr went ahead, broke the scabbard of his sword, took some dates and started eating from them. He then threw the dates from his hand, saying, "Verily, if I lived until I finished eating these dates, then it is indeed a long life.'' He went ahead, fought and was killed, may Allah be pleased with him.

Allah said next, commanding the believers and conveying good news to them,

(If there are twenty steadfast persons among you, they will overcome two hundred, and if there be a hundred steadfast persons, they will overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve.)

Allah provides, suffices, and makes a Way out of Every Hardship for Those Who have Taqwa

Far from being an offer of peace, the letter is a demand for surrender. While it is more subtle than Muhammad's extortion letters, it is no less threatening.

I Have Been Meme Tagged...Why Do I Blog?

I wonder how many words I am limited to for this answer. The reasons are many and deeply felt.

From Spree, the Tagger:

Some are not sure about participating in memes or "tagging" but I have found that the nature of this particular meme is that there is a variety of websites dealing with different topics in different areas of the blogosphere, which brings us traffic and wonderful new regulars that otherwise would never hear of us because they do not blog in the same "circles" we do.

Thanks to Mel for including political blogs in this launch and thanks to Spree for inviting me.

REMEMBER to add your blog name, URL, why you blog and your best post with its URL, to the *list*.

We have a voice;
We must be heard;
Therefore we blog;
Now spread the word!

This meme is based on a recent post that was conducted asking the question “Why do you Blog?” and the rewrite “Why do you Blog? - Reworked.” The purpose of this meme is to tell our tales by spreading the reasons that we blog to as many sites as possible. We get to explain ourselves, direct traffic to our site and highlight our most important, most representative or most relevant post in an SEO favorable format. This will be a positive experience for everyone who wants to get involved. This will enable you to create a short advertisement for your site that will be spread across the blogesphere; a growing directory of blogs.

This is an open meme. You do not have to be tagged to join in. All you have to do is follow the rules.

Please let me know when you have added your site by leaving a comment on “Complete List” with a link to your post. This will insure an up-to-date list, giving you even greater distribution. You then have the option of copying the growing list back to your site.

Rules:
  1. Create an inventive post title
  2. Write a brief introduction to the meme.
  3. Copy from “**Start Copy Here**” through “**End Copy Here**”
  4. Paste into your post
  5. At the end of the “*list*”, before “**End copy here**”, please add your name, site name (with link), a very brief description (2-3 sentences) of why you blog, and your most important, most representative, or most relevant post (with link.)
  6. Tag at least 5 others to participate.
  7. Leave a comment and a link to your post on “Complete List”

My name is Susan and I am the Owner of ~~Wake up America ~~, which is a political, right leaning blog. I feel my most powerful post is called "Are You Proud to be an American......"

"Here I am :-) My name is Mauro and I'm the author of 1 Million Love Messages ... maybe the biggest love challenge in the blogosphere. Why I blog ??? I'm Holly from Mama Pajama. I am a stay-at-home mom to my two year old son, Cameron. He is such a joy in our lives. I just stumbled across blogging after watching a television show. I wish I had found it sooner, as it has been so much fun meeting people all across the globe. It's my own place to share about my family, interests, likes, dislikes, etc. I love that I've found my own little circle of blog buddies that will read the stuff I have to say....as mundane or silly as it might be! LOL It's fun leaving others comments, and knowing that something I post or comment just might make someone smile that day. I'm already having a hard time turning off my computer at night, so I'm hoping to keep this blogging addiction under control. My favorite post so far is Lucky Girl.

I'm Kathleen of Invisible Keepsakes.Well, I blog because if I don't, I'll go mad and get very hard to live with. I need a tableau for my creative endeavours. I write poetry. That is to say, I am a poet. I'm not a great poet; nor am I a deep poet, but I love wordplay and creating images and entertaining people with my ideas and interpretations of events and news and random topics. I've written quite a lot of poems, some have even been published, but I think the one I would have you read is Bad Dawg #7 because I feel so strongly about it.

I am Beth or Skipper - whoever you are most comfortable with, and I author My Life Starts at Forty Two. I am really trying to turn my life and myself around - and become the best me that I can. It is not always easy with family, illness, etc, but I refuse to give up. This is my journal of journey. One of the best posts that I can use to describe me is The Decision.

I am Delirious the creator of Lifeonalimb. I always wished I could have my own little newspaper and write all of the columns myself. But since I probably wouldn't make enough money to pay for the paper to publish it, I decided to go the "free route" instead. I don't think this is my best post, but probably one that most people would enjoy; death-defying Stop in, check it out, leave a comment, then go get therapy.

I am Bridget from "And Miles To Go Before We Sleep" I am a stay at home mom of five young children, ages 1-12, three of which have special needs. Two of my boys are afflicted with Autism so it is a very busy household. I started bogging because our family moves around a lot and we ar very far away from our families and this was a great was to stay in touch with them. I met so many great people through blogging and I enjoyed it so much that I now feel like it's another job (one that I enjoy). My favorite post so far has to be The Old Tree In The Middle Of The Dry Desert

My name is Winsome Gunning and I am an artist who started blogging about `The Creative Process’ and `The Power of Listening to Silence’ on Winsome Gunning Art Walk. From my own listening to silence came A New Green Earthmy personal voice for green change. About DioxinAbout Simple Ways and A Green Earth are also my voices for green change. On these two blogs I publish contemporary green news from around the world.

I am the wily Blogolope, and I blog for fun and to get things off my chest and hopefully be funny. I created Blogolope because I thought it would be fun, simple as that. Blogolope to Assist Santa, Elves if a funny post. is an example of the issues about which I have felt compelled to write.

Hi, My name is Janice Ng & I'm the miracle mum from "This is a miracle". I started to blog to document the foot steps of my 2 boys : Amos & Zachary. With this blog, they are able to look back what they have been through: their joy, excitement, laughter, fighting, crying, screaming... etc when they grow up. One of my favourite post is "The loving brothers" on how the 2 brothers showed they tenderly care through a piece of strawberry cake!!

Hi! My name is Crystal, my middle name actually. I am the author of Choc Mint Girl. I started to blog because I need my own space to 'just write', but what I find here is quite inspiring and I am amazed at how many different bloggers with different approach ended up as great friends and inspire each other. It doesn’t matter what I blog about as long as the two parties find the connection in one another, that will be the best reason of why do I actually blog. I guess my most relevant post is my very first innocent post, Getting Started.

My name is Michelle of Crow's Feet . I started writing because I love words and wanted to make people feel... and think, but I soon realised that writing is about connecting. Because the more we connect to others - the more we learn about ourselves. I'm picking my post Small Miracles as representing who I am, why I blog... and why I love the internet.

My name is Claire and I created the blog Bebo Author. I write because I'd go crazy otherwise and I blog to help others (especially young, unpublished writers) share their work. I want to promote writers and give people a place to share their advice and tips for others. My favourite post is a hard one to pick so I'll say Writing Tips.

My name is Stine, a Norwegian mother of 6, and I blog at Mother's Home!. I have recently created another blog/site, Mother's Got A Dot Com. Why? First, for my own enjoyment. I've gotten to "know" so many lovely people since I started, and blogging has become an addiction (Sound familiar?) Second, I'm continually amazed that I can actually earn a little extra doing what I enjoy so much... I also get to let out some steam sometimes, as in Stage Mums.

My name is c.a. Marks and I blog for many reasons. At first I started a blog for my knitting, then I moved over into the political arena, and now I'm doing a personal blog, Sex and the South, that was inspired by my all time favorite HBO original series, "Sex and the City". Yes, I want to be Carrie Bradshaw, with a twist. What kind of twist, I have no idea. I am in the blogging business for the fame and fortune....KIDDING! No, for real, I like to blog because like everyone else it gives me an outlet. There, that's it, nothing amazing and profound about it. Thanks!

My name is Misty Dawn, and I blog from the middle of nowhere, at My Dogs Keep Me Sane. I began this blog at the advice of one of my best friends. It's purpose was to give me a place to talk about the frustrations of moving to another state and moving away from my family and friends. Now, it has become so much more than that. Blogging has become an addiction for me. I now use my blog to earn income; I have met so many fabulous friends; I share my writing and my photography; I share my stories, whether they be funny, serious, or sad; I can share my frustrations and my emotions without worrying about being judged for what I say... There are no words to encompass what blogging and the people of the blogosphere mean to me... and that is why I blog. My favorite post would have to be Rough Tough Farm Gang because it is a fun post that will make people smile. I'm not saying it is my best or most thought-out post, but it is my favorite.

The internet world knows me by LadyJava. My first blog, "how to make money online" was actually the reason why I started blogging. I wanted to share to the world that I was making online share my experience about it. However I enjoyed blogging so much that the habit quickly caught on and I began writing a few other blogs as well. This blog, however, is by far my favorite blog as I've made many friends from all over the world and I continue blogging as an avenue for me to share my life with friends and would-be friends. My favorite post is "Coffee and Me" as I am officially a coffee addict..

Hi, Genny is here. I am the happymomiam in the world of blogging. I am the author of My Life's Adventure, Wonderful Things In Life, and The Beauty of Life. I blog because i like to share some of my experiences in life about my family and friends. I like to give some encouragement knowing that everybody needs people who can comfort them. My most relevant posts are all the quotes & encouraging food for thoughts.

Hello my name is Deborah author of Climate of Our Future, I also co-author She Walks in Beauty. I blog with passion for our environment. I started this blog because I believe that we as bloggers have a very loud voice in this blogosphere. that By sharing what knowledge I find about our environment would not only benefit the blogger but also our environment. I also blog about Beauty, because no matter how harmed and polluted our world has become I can still see the beauty within. My favorite post would have to be the one about plastic in the Pacific twice the size of Texas.

I am Snooper, owner and the main author of Take Our Country Back. There are several authors that post to my blog and I deeply respect their writings even when at times, I have slight disagreements with their posts. Then again, who wants automatons? I blog because those of us which think along the same lines as I do, are not offered a voice in The Main Stream Media. I blog to support The Troops and nothing but The Troops seeing that I myself and our oldest son ARE Troops. The most hated post from the far left which equates to the most powerful post is We Had A Patriotic Nation Once.

Our Troops Win, Again! Dems Withdraw Support of Armenian Genocide Resolution

This is GREAT news, sure to rile up the most vile Sorosite ever known to man!

Fox News:

A House vote to label the century-old deaths of Armenians as genocide was in jeopardy Tuesday after several Democrats withdrew their support and sounded alarms it could cripple U.S. relations with Turkey.

The loss of support is a major setback to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democratic leaders on Capitol Hill, who have fiercely defended the resolution to Republicans and the Bush administration as a moral imperative in condemning the World War I-era killings of up to 1.5 million Armenians by Ottoman Turks.

President Bush called Pelosi on Tuesday to ask her not to call for a House vote on the resolution.

"The president and the speaker exchanged candid views on the subject and the speaker explained the strong bipartisan support in the House for the resolution," Pelosi spokesman Nadeam Elshami said, noting that Bush initiated the phone call.

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., told reporters Tuesday that the plan remained to vote on the measure before Congress adjourns by the end of the year.

But, he added, "there are a number of people who are revisiting their own positions and we'll have to determine where everyone is," he said.

[...]

Fantastic news. Yet another tack being utilized by the Leftinistra to demoralize our troops and to ensure a defeat in this GWOT, as wished and funded by one George Soros, has gone down in flames.

This is a GREAT day for America and more of the Soros Finance Network has squandered away yet again, untold amounts of money to rein in his dream of world dominion.

Get a clue and get a life Georgie Porky Soros...we don't want your kind here. Pack a bag and waddle your sorry ass back from whence thou slithered from.

Catch the wave

Al-Qaeda Crippled In Iraq...UPDATED and Bumped

Original post here...Update below

Many moons ago, I had asked the question to thin air..."How long can the terrorists hang in there?"

Apparently, their time as a formidable foe on the battlefields of Iraq are at an end and they know it. Why else is there a call to get some of their operatives inside the United States?

With the reports flowing in from the front lines of Iraq and the Leftinistra grasping at straws with their Straw Man themes, is it any wonder that the American People are beginning to see through the lies of the political hacks?

Even the far left moonbats of the fruit loop brigades have begun turning on their moppets.

Protein Wisdom has a great listing of the good news flowing in from the battlefields of Iraq. Go take a look...a long hard look. Don't breeze through the data. Read every word posted. It is something the Lame Stream cannot bring themselves to do. They pick and choose their material to suit their socialist agenda.

The Washington Compost even has a story entitled, Al-Qaeda In Iraq Reported Crippled. That is the teaser. The sub-title reads, Many Officials, However, Warn Of Its Resilience. How quaint and how typical is that?

The story is replete with the usual "undisclosed this and that" and the usual "anonymous and mysterious valuable sources". Whenever they don't quote an actual person, I find it highly suspect. Their reputation as a viable reporting agency is highly questionable as even General Sanchez pointed out to them in a stinging rebuke just a few days ago. Naturally, they ignored that part of the speech.

Needless to say, them KNOWING that we are winning and that AQI is on the run and desperate, they play it down with the usual biased slants. Click the link provided to read the entire post. I have included a small portion of the WaPo article.

[...]

The deployment of more U.S. and Iraqi forces into AQI strongholds in Anbar province and the Baghdad area, as well as the recruitment of Sunni tribal fighters to combat AQI operatives in those locations, has helped to deprive the militants of a secure base of operations, U.S. military officials said. "They are less and less coordinated, more and more fragmented," Lt. Gen. Raymond T. Odierno, the second-ranking U.S. commander in Iraq, said recently. Describing frayed support structures and supply lines, Odierno estimated that the group's capabilities have been "degraded" by 60 to 70 percent since the beginning of the year.

[...]
The bottom line is this. We are winning this battle in Iraq...finally and to say otherwise shows an ignorance second to none.

Also, in the WaPo, there is another article which is rather sad. One of their reporters was KIA in the line of duty for the WaPo. He is given the usual accolades with the usual accompaniment of a slight trash the US which, is really not unusual or unexpected. To the reporter's family, Snooper sends his condolences to a brave soul in his homeland.

Catch the wave.

Emory University: Smearing in the 21st Century

The below post is a cross post from Proprietor Nation in our collective quest of the Holy Graille of Truth. It seems as though there are Fraud Trolls lurking about posting the same comments in several blogs.

I
have picked up a fascinating phenomenon in the blogosphere vis a vis this fiasco with Emory University and Grady Hospital. I want to direct you to three relatively unrelated blogs. First, there is mine, then Peach Pundit, and finally an artsy Atlanta blog by the name of Creative Loafing. These are three totally unrelated blogs except that each of us covered the story of Kevin Kuritzky and his attempt to blow the whistle on the alleged corruption that he saw. Well, if everyone takes a look at the comments section, you will find the exact same comment in each of them. (there maybe other blogs out there with this comment though so far I have only found three)
A judge ruled in Emory’s favor on this one (See mention below from a highly regarded education publication). The Atlanta community needs to stay focused on the larger issues of how to transform Grady so that they can become solvent.

ALLEGED NEGLECT: A lawsuit filed by a former medical student at Emory University who alleged that it neglected patients at its two teaching hospitals was dismissed last month by a Georgia judge who ruled summarily for the university. The former student, Kevin D. Kuritzky, was dismissed from Emory’s medical school 41 days before he was scheduled to graduate, in 2005. He said university officials were angry that he had exposed the neglect of patients and, in retaliation, expelled him. The judge in the case, Robert J. Castellani of the DeKalb County Superior Court, sided with the university, writing, “The allegations brought against the student for dishonesty, and unprofessional and unethical conduct were numerous.”

Chronicle of Higher Education
http://chronicle.com/Section: Money & ManagementVolume 54,
Issue 7, Page A30

So, what is the Chronicle of Higher education and what is going on here? Well, this chronicle is a trade journal for educaters and administrators at schools of higher learning. So, what is going on here? The truth lies in subtle differences in the law that have been twisted to make things seem as though they aren't what they appear. (though I would like to thank Mary Andom the author of the Chronicle piece for graciously providing me with the documents) In fact, there was no dismissal but rather a summary judgement that essentially said that the structure of the case was such that it shouldn't go to the jury. This seems damning except that there is something that this story doesn't reveal. In fact, last week I showed from court documents that Emory willfully and negligently could not produce a plethora of documents. The court has still not ruled on this spoliation, which is the inability to produce vital documents. The law is clear and a summary judgement can't be ruled on if there has been documents that have been withheld. The judge never actually ruled on the expoliation when he issued this ruling and the ruling has been appealed. While I am neither a betting man or a lawyer if I was in Vegas, I would be putting heavy money down that this ruling will be reversed. Furthermore, the plaintiff was never contacted before this story ran. In fact, Kevin Kuritzky has told me that he received a message on his cell phone the Sunday before the story was published, he was unavailable, and before he could return it, the story was already published. There's more. Last week, on Redstate, I debate an attorney that linked to this article.

A lawsuit filed against Emory by a former student was dismissed last week, affirming the University’s right to expel a student based on conduct violations.Kevin Kuritzky was expelled from the School of Medicine in April 2005, 41 days before he was set to graduate. In February 2006, he filed a lawsuit against Emory claiming that the school expelled him in retaliation for allegations he made that Grady Memorial Hospital and the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, both affiliates of the medical school, were violating safety and patient care regulations.

It seems that this bogus information is finding its way into selected areas. These areas just happen to be places where Emory has a lot of influence. Of course, the anonymous nature of the blogosphere makes it quite difficult to track who exactly it is that is cutting and pasting the link to the same bogus story. It could be a blogger who has too much time on their hands and found this story and is determined to let everyone know about it, or it could be something a bit more nefarious.

There is even more. Grady has been all over the news and last week Tim Jefferson, senior VP for legal affairs at Grady, and Kent Alexander, General Counsel for Emory University, published this response to one of the pieces from the Atlanta Journal Constitution

The AJC's Oct. 5 editorial "Come clean on lawsuit" resurrects (and
misstates) old charges of conspiring to misuse government funds, charges the
government reviewed seven years ago and declined to pursue. This has the
devastating effect of casting public suspicion on two entities —- Grady Memorial
Hospital and Emory University —- that are working together in an increasingly
challenging environment to meet the health needs of the most vulnerable members
of our society.

The editorial surprisingly calls on Emory and Grady to open the sealed settlement and court records in a case involving Dr. James Murtagh. For the record, Emory and Grady did not move to seal the record; Murtagh did. Emory had already supported unsealing the proceedings —- the complete, entire record —- as had Grady. We simply awaited the doctor and court's approval.Judge Wendy Shoob has since unsealed the record, which is now of course fully open to the public. The real victim in all of this is Grady, the largest public health hospital in the Southeast. Grady is struggling to survive while misinformation circulates that, unintentionally or intentionally, diverts attention from the real issues.

Now, let's isolate a couple sentences from this response as well as the comment that has found itself onto three unrelated blogs. First, here is the part from Alexander and Jefferson.

The real victim is Grady, the largest public health hospital in the Southeast. Grady is struggling to survive while misinformation circulates that, unintentionally or intentionally, diverts attention from the real issues.

Now, let's look at the comment finding its way throughout the blogosphere...

The Atlanta community needs to stay focused on the larger issues of how to transform Grady so that they can become solvent.

These comments seem awfully similar and more than that it is not the sort of comment some random blogger would add within the comments section. Obviously, it is important that I limit my speculation. I don't know who this blogger is and I have not heard back from the author of the Chronicle piece yet, and certainly all of this could be mere coincidence, and thus, I will leave the speculation, assertion, and conclusions to my audience.

If I am not mistaken, Kevin was given his first opportunity to speak out on a radio program which was mine. To date, there have been 97 downloads of the show. Someone is interested in this for sure. Why else would there be a Smear Campaign in force?

Stay tuned and keep your eyes on Atlanta, GA.

Washington Compost and Sadly Stupid...Updated

The Washington Cesspool has a piece out today entitled, The Real Iraq We Knew. Along the same lines, the idiot that uses government property or, so it is said by an anonymous and undisclosed source, to blog has a piece up entitled, UH OH, SOMEONE TELL RUSH - 12 MORE "PHONY SOLDIERS. The GOMERS at 'Loon have a piece up entitled, Must be more "phony soldiers".

There are more and equally ignorant pieces along these lines at memeorandum, catch the wave, and what do they all have in common? Simple. Total and complete and willful ignorance. They got snookered by their stupid leaders such as ReidCo and have been shown the back door and it hit them on the ass on the way out.

What was that "phony soldier" flap all about? And who has egg on their faces and who is digging their Abyss of Obscurity even deeper and deeper? The Leftinistra whores of the anti-Americanist organizations such as Sadly Retarded, 'Loon, MoveOnWeAreRetarded and other such childish and useless units of despair. Losers all. Their influence has waned almost to nil and they hate it.

They lash out grasping for those soggy paper straws and there is nothing to get a grip on. Must be sad to be in their shoes seeing their rhetoric being hammered into the cesspools of ignorance, such as it is.

It seems that there are 12 former Captains that have said some things that the Leftinistra are trying to dig into something that it isn't. Simply amazing.

Jules Crittenden:
[..]

Iraq is a benighted, corrupt country. Political can of worms. New systems overlaid on old. True. Corruption will probably remain a fact for a long time. Practical political power structures are a work in progess.

Not enough troops to maintain in Iraq. Maybe, maybe not. The expansion of the Army is being excelerated. How many troops are needed depends on what happens, and so far, progress is not only good but gaining momentum.

Surge successes illusory, have only pushed insurgents elsewhere. Evidence increasingly suggests this is false, in fact that the captains’ are grossly misrepresenting the situation. The captains fail to note the dramatic spread of the Awakening movement even into Shiite areas.

[...]

Captain's Quarters

[...]

The Washington Post has a must-read critique of the Iraq War written by veterans of the mission, similar to one written for the New York Times earlier this year. The twelve former captains of the Army write about their personal experiences and frustrations with force levels and the lack of progress. They make some good points, but the best point comes from the Post itself at the end of the piece:

This column was written by 12 former Army captains: Jason Blindauer served in Babil and Baghdad in 2003 and 2005. Elizabeth Bostwick served in Salah Ad Din and An Najaf in 2004. Jeffrey Bouldin served in Al Anbar, Baghdad and Ninevah in 2006. Jason Bugajski served in Diyala in 2004. Anton Kemps served in Babil and Baghdad in 2003 and 2005. Kristy (Luken) McCormick served in Ninevah in 2003. Luis Carlos Montalván served in Anbar, Baghdad and Nineveh in 2003 and 2005. William Murphy served in Babil and Baghdad in 2003 and 2005. Josh Rizzo served in Baghdad in 2006. William "Jamie" Ruehl served in Nineveh in 2004. Gregg Tharp served in Babil and Baghdad in 2003 and 2005. Gary Williams served in Baghdad in 2003.

Of the twelve captains that wrote this article, not one of them has served in Iraq since General David Petraeus took over command of the mission. Not one of them served with the higher force levels that have been deployed to Iraq. None of them served during the Anbar Awakening. Most of them last served in 2005, two years ago.

[...]

Paper straws the Leftinistra have and the straws are dripping wet with stupidity, wishful thinking and blind anti-Americanist subversion. They do not hold water.

{UPDATE}
Blackfive wants to know if 12 prior service veterans trumps the 7 82nd ABN NCOs
Since the 7 NCOs from the 82nd ABN writing in the NY Times didn't trigger the cut & run required we now get to hear from the dozen Captains, I assume followed by a pack of privates and ending with "two turtlenecks and a beer in a tree"

Any takers?

Dissolve DHS? Hell YEAH!!

Why promote and/or sanction an organization that bends over backwards for our enemies? With all of the bluster and fluster over the vaunted Department of Homeland Security, it has become a clearing house for Leftinistra hacks and political whores of all stripes. Too harsh? Stop reading and go elsewhere. Thin-skinned morons need not apply.

Debbie Schlussel has a column at the NYPost today and she has a few questions as well.
Why are Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents all over the country livid with their boss? And why should you be, too?
I have been "outraged" at this travesty of a department since its inception. I saw it as a dinosaur and a tax money sponge from the get go.

Michelle Malkin, much to the chagrin of the Leftinistra idgits, has a piece up as well.
I’ve written extensively on the mess at DHS and the crony appointments with little to no experience in immigration law enforcement who populate the upper echelons of DHS management. Debbie Schlussel has also been on the case for a long time and has a new column in the NYPost on the toxic mix of cronyism and dhimmitude. ICE head and crony appointment Julie Myers is set to speak tonight in Dearborn at a joint known derisively as the “Hezbollah Social Club.” Peachy: (read the rest by clicking here)
This is called sucking up, pandering and catering to the enemy in the name of "negotiating" of which the enemy sees as a major weakness. Why should our tax dollars go to a useless project such as slipping into bed with the enemy? Name me ONE time that negotiations with the Jihadists has EVER helped bring peace anywhere. Just one. Any takers? All it does is to aid the spineless wimps at State the good feeling that at least they tried.

The ONLY time you negotiate a peace with the enemy is when you have them at the edge of a bottomless pit into which you will push them if they do not lay down their arms. When the enemy is utterly defeated, THAT is when you negotiate a peace.

While we are at it, while dissolving the DHS, we can go ahead and dissolve the State Department as well. Look at all the monies we will save.

JULIE Myers, the head of the U.S. Immigration and Cus toms Enforcement agency (ICE), is set to deliver tonight's keynote address in Dearborn, Mich., to a group that honors lax judges - including ones who interfere with enforcement of our immigration laws. What's worse, the head of the group - the Michigan American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee - is a suspected former terrorist who repeatedly violated U.S. immigration laws, then used political ties to avoid deportation.

The venue: a place known to local cops and federal agents as "The Hezbollah Social Club." Yes, Dearborn, Mich.'s Bint Jebail Cultural Center is named after the village in south Lebanon that sheltered the terror group's chief, Hassan Nasrallah, during last year's Hezbollah-Israel war. Rockets are shot from Bint Jebail into Israel even today.

The Dearborn center has hosted many pro-Hezbollah rallies featuring fiery anti-Semitic, anti-Christian and anti-American speeches. (At one rally I attended last year, Haj Mohammed Turfe, the center's founding chairman, won raucous applause for saying he looked forward to Armageddon because "only a few thousand Jews will survive.") Federal agents tell me it has also been the site of gatherings of Hezbollah agents and money launderers.

But it's the man who's hosting Myers that has ICE agents aghast. The head of the Michigan ADC is Imad Hamad - who, while living in California, allegedly recruited, organized and fund-raised for the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP). More, federal officials fought for almost two decades to deport him.

Immigration officials believed they had solid evidence that Hamad had stayed in America long after his visa expired, engaged in marriage fraud to stay here and concealed his PFLP ties on various immigration documents. Surveillance videos showed him engaged in various activities for PFLP. But Sen. Carl Levin (D-Michigan) got the Clinton administration to end the fight to deport Hamad, and instead grant him citizenship

Hamad's recent behavior has also been interesting. He openly supports Hezbollah, Hamas and other anti-Israel terror groups. And federal official are investigating his close ties to LIFE For Relief and Development, a Muslim charity raided by both the FBI (in America) and U.S. troops (in Iraq). The charity gave millions to a group the FBI identified as Hamas' Jordanian operation; law-enforcement sources also tell me it's suspected of funding al Qaeda insurgents in Iraq.

It sends the wrong message to those who are trying to come to America the right way and abiding by our immigration laws.

Then's there is the event's purpose. The stated point of the ADC's "Judges Night" is to honor judges who go out of their way for the "civil liberties" of Arab defendants. One recent honoree had stopped ICE agents from deporting over 100 Muslim illegal aliens who'd allegedly been caught paying off an immigration official. Another honoree refused to allow ICE agents to testify in court on the terrorism aspects of a case of a man they stopped at Detroit Metro Airport carrying a fake bank check for $12 million.

That our nation's top immigration enforcer would attend an event hosted by a multiple immigration-law violator and terrorism supporter - an event that honors judges who make it harder for ICE agents to do their job - is a travesty.

This is unacceptable.

What in the hell is wrong with these people? What is their end-game?

Time To Heal Our Land

Oppose Harry Reid Reminder

As I was cruising through the 80+ posts I have written on the swine called Reid, I ran across this little diddy and though to repost it in the hopes that more folks catch on.

As more and more people in Nevada get the Big Picture of what an absolute loser Reid is and , as his questionable patriotism comes to the fore, hopefully, the poor slog will eventually shrink back under the rock from which he oozed.

We feel it’s time for Americans to step up to the plate and make their voices heard. This site has been launched to get a feel for what Americans of all walks think should be done in light of the Senator’s raising of the white flag.

Harry Reid lied when he said he was “independent like Nevada” during his last campaign. The leadership lacking Nevada Senator has embarrassed Nevada on many occasions, but Reid’s most recent claim to defeat has got to be one of the lowest quotes to ever slip from his corrupt mouth.

[...]

OOPS! Sounds like the Land Fraud Quack has ruffled some Nevadan feathers.

On the above mentioned/referenced site, one can join the anti-Reid blogroll. I am not from Nevada but I am anti-Reid in the most militant way at my disposal.

There is yet another site where one can place their feelings about ReidCo as well.

With Reid's ever vanishing credibility, if he ever had any to begin with, is it any wonder that he whines EVERY time the fool yammers on with his pie hole wide open?

The Democrats and the Leftinistra Hate Our Troops

I received this in my email from Norm and decided to post it, unedited.

Enjoy. See what the PelosiCos smelt.

Note from Norm: Is this meddling in foreign affairs also against the Logan ACT...if so Pelosi must go to jail...the law is the law!

Democrats Find Way to Stop War - Get Soldiers Killed

In one of the most breathtaking displays in history of irresponsibility, a House Committee yesterday voted to label the mass killings of Armenians almost 100 years ago – a genocide. What’s behind this senseless resolution at this time against a country that is not at all the same country that was defeated in World War I? Is it ignorance of history? Is it total arrogance, or is it a clever attempt to hamstring deliveries of needed supplies to American forces in Iraq and complicate our attempts to keep Turkey from acting militarily against Kurdish militants? It appears that Congressional Democrats have found a way, they think, to get us out of Iraq – get lots more American soldiers killed and cause chaos in the most peaceful area of Iraq.

The problem is, their meddling will not only make things worse, their meddling will ensure a continued major presence of the American military there to deal with the chaos they have caused.

Turkey condemns US over Armenian genocide resolution
Thursday October 11, 2007
Guardian Unlimited

Turkey today condemned a US congressional committee for approving a resolution that recognizes the 1915 massacres of Armenians by Ottoman Turks as genocide.

Calling the move "irresponsible", and with reference to tensions on its border with Iraq, the Turkish government warned it could damage a strategic partnership at a sensitive time.

"Our government regrets and condemns this decision. It is unacceptable that the Turkish nation has been accused of something that never happened in history," it said in a statement.

The House of Representatives foreign affairs committee yesterday approved the resolution by 27 votes to 21. It goes to the House floor, where there will be a vote by mid-November, say Democratic leaders.

The committee approved the resolution despite warnings from the president, George Bush, and other top administration officials, who said it would damage relations with a key Nato ally and jeopardize an important route for US supplies to Iraq.

About 70% of US air cargo going into Iraq goes through Turkey, and US commanders fear access to airfields and roads will be put at risk.

Turkey also provides thousands of truck drivers and other workers for US operations in Iraq. Supplies also flow from Turkey's Incirlik air base to troops in Afghanistan.

More worrying for the US is that the congressional move will weaken its influence over Turkey at a time when the ruling Justice and Development (AK) party is under pressure from the military to authorize a major incursion into northern Iraq against Kurdish rebels.

Pressure for major military action has intensified because fighters from the outlawed Kurdistan Workers party (PKK) have killed some 30 soldiers and civilians in the past two weeks.

Turkey has complained that US and Iraqi authorities have failed to crack down on 3,000 PKK rebels based in northern Iraq. But large-scale incursions by Turkey in 1995 and 1997, involving an estimated 35,000 and 50,000 troops respectively, failed to dislodge the rebels.

The US fears such an operation could destabilize one of the few relatively peaceful areas in the country.

Yesterday's vote was widely condemned in Turkey.

"Twenty-seven foolish Americans," the daily Vatan newspaper said on its front page, in reference to the committee members who approved the resolution. The Hurriyet newspaper called the resolution a "Bill of hatred".

Some politicians in the US had "once again sacrificed important matters to petty domestic politics despite all calls to common sense", said the president, Abdullah Gul.

Outstanding! That's showing the troops they support them by God!

Morons.

Only Fools Like ReidCo

Even in his OWN State of Nevada, Reid is looked upon in disdain. I see da stain, too.

ReidCo, in his propensity to be a complete fool, has really outdone himself this time. All of the catering and pandering to the minority in numbers in this country has cost him his dignity, his integrity and most of all, his respect. His self-esteem is in the cesspools of the Abyss of Obscurity he has dug for himself. His smear campaigns fail because he has shot his wad and has drawn blanks.

ReidCo is irrelevant in the Grand Scheme of Things...the very epitome of Loser.

The following is from a blogger that is a friend of a friend of a friend. He says it all very nicely.

Senator Reid’s Ratings Plummet

All is not lost. It appears that Nevadans, in general, are just as outraged at Senator Harry Reid’s attempts to smear Rush Limbaugh as are the rest of us (well, fair-minded people anyway). Senator Reid’s favorability ratings in Nevada have plummeted, while his unfavorability ratings have risen sharply since May. Perhaps also Reid’s attempts to denigrate our military and torpedo the war effort, and his cries that we have already “lost” the War on Terror also have something to do with this development.

Sen. Reid's Favorable Ratings Tank
Posted by TOM BEVAN, RealClearPolitics, October 15, 2007

Molly Ball of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Senator Harry Reid's favorable rating in Nevada has "plunged dramatically," according to a new poll. Currently, Reid's favorable rating is at 32%, while his unfavorable rating is at 51%, a net 23-point drop from the last poll taken in early May when Reid scored a 46/42 favorable/unfavorable rating.

Ball reports this is the first time Reid's unfavorable rating has eclipsed his favorable rating. It also puts him below the favorable ratings recorded by President Bush and radio host Rush Limbaugh, among others:

Senator John Ensign 51/19
Bill Clinton 51/37
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman 42/17
Hillary Clinton 38/51
Rush Limbaugh 34/50
President Bush 34/53
Senator Harry Reid 32/51
Governor Jim Gibbons 30/29

Pollster Brad Coker of Mason-Dixon offered a wry observation of Reid and Limbaugh's similar ratings: "That's how polarizing Harry Reid has become. But Rush is trying to be polarizing. Reid just does it anyway."

Check out that mugshot of ReidCo...priceless. Anybody out there that can read body language, like I can, please let me know what you see.
