This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

From Fred08:

Coyotes are the men who prey on illegal aliens, helping illegal immigrants return to the U.S. over our southern border, sometimes after these immigrants have been deported, two, even three or more times. Apparently our Democratic friends in Congress have learned a thing or two from the “coyotes,” because just when we’d thought we’d sent the illegal-immigrant amnesty bill packing (at least for this year), Congress has ignored the public’s wishes and is trying to sneak what amounts to another amnesty bill through.

After several false starts Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) continues to push the DREAM Act. What is the DREAM Act? A nightmare.

The act would allow any illegal immigrant who entered the country before the age of 16 to receive conditional residency, which could then be converted to a non-conditional residency. These illegal immigrants can apply for this form of amnesty so long as they are under 30 and they weren’t older than 16 when they came to the country. And, of course, there is no way of proving when they illegally entered our country. After all, they are undocumented. Aliens would qualify even if they received and ignored a removal order if that order was received before they were 16.

Essentially, the DREAM Act puts some illegal aliens in a better position for residency than legal aliens who have played by the rules.

In addition to this stealth amnesty, the DREAM Act, would repeal a portion of the 1996 federal immigration law that prohibits any state from offering in-state college tuition rates to illegal aliens unless the state also offers in-state tuition to all U.S. citizens. Thus, if the DREAM Act passes, any state could offer such a break to qualifying illegal aliens.

At a time when hard working Americans are being asked to foot the bill for costlier college educations, we shouldn’t be offering special deals to people here illegally. We need fewer, not more, incentives for illegal aliens to come to this country.

Given the widespread public uprising over the comprehensive immigration reform bill, you’d think the Senate had learned its lesson. Apparently not. Instead of focusing on legislation the American people clearly want nothing to do with, Senate Democrats are planning to bring the DREAM Act up for a vote today. Instead, they should focus on doing the work of the people, and pass the appropriations bills that have been awaiting their attention for months now.

[UPDATE: Sean here. The DREAM Act failed to get the 60 votes needed to invoke cloture.]

From The Heritage Foundation:

Just three months after the Senate immigration bill met its well-deserved end, amnesty advocates in the U.S. Congress resumed their efforts. Recently, Senator Richard Durbin (D–IL) announced on the Senate floor his intention to offer the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act as an amendment to the defense authorization bill.

Read the rest at The Heritage Foundation to learn everything you need to know about this back door to Shamnesty.

I have, as of this posting, 73 pieces discussing the illegal immigration issue and therein, one will find the evidence of the Leftinistra trying to buy votes for their failing party. That is what this Shamnesty garbage is all about...a new voter base.

Entire generations of voter base for ALL parties have been murdered in the wombs of our women and America has lost MILLIONS of potential voters, murdered at the hands of the Democratic Party.

Is it any wonder why they are this desperate to buy a new base?

Update 12:52pm Eastern. Breathe a small sigh of relief. Shamnesty is defeated again. The DREAM Act has been beat back. The vote was 52-44, falling short of the 3/5 threshhold.

You know how the open-borders lobby works, though.

They’ll be back.

No rest.

Cloture fails in a vote of 52-44, roll call found here.

Our representatives heard us when we told them no amnesty to illegal aliens.

We spoke on this and provided the numbers here and here, in the last couple of days and everyone that fought so hard against the DREAM Act being rammed through the Senate is owed a huge thank you for taking action.

Related article from Fred File shows how the DREAM Act would have been a nightmare.

Before proponents of the DREAM Act start spouting off, learn a little about what the DREAM Act would have done.

This will undoubtedly come up again, but for now... GOOD JOB everyone and thank you again.

AMEN! America's citizens have won another war waged on their sovereignty.
