Invented Stories Passed On As Fact
~Snooper~
A friend of mine often says, "Stupidity cannot go unanswered." Such is the case here.
Seeing that the Leftinistra are falling apart and their support wanes into the Abyss of Obscurity they have dug for themselves, they feel they must invent stories. The following fable was written by a someone that evidently knows another someone that said that they knew someone that was able to overhear a conversation. As pathetic as that sounds, is it any wonder why no one of substance or of a sound mind takes these fools seriously? From the KOSmonoff smintheus: (poor thing) Naturally, because it is Bash Bush opportunity, the "he said she said they said" scenario MUST be true.
Simply amazing and the idiots that read their crap will NEVER read the links provided and will swallow whatever they need to swallow to feed their hatred for GWB.

[...] I won't mock Dowd's concern over his son's deployment. It's a noble sentiment, for once. Parents live in terror when their children are sent off to war, or caught up in wars that come in search of them. It would be a far better world if all politicians came to recognize what dread war holds.
If they would take this President as their model of how not to behave
At a private reception held at the White House with newly elected lawmakers shortly after the election, Bush asked Webb how his son, a Marine lance corporal serving in Iraq, was doing.Naturally the "report" is as follows: (Emphasis mine...key phrases)
Webb responded that he really wanted to see his son brought back home, said a person who heard about the exchange from Webb.
"I didn't ask you that, I asked how he's doing," Bush retorted...I wonder what the "real" conversation was...
Son also rises in testy Webb-Bush exchange

President Bush has pledged to work with the new Democratic majorities in Congress, but he has already gotten off on the wrong foot with Jim Webb, whose surprise victory over Sen. George Allen (R-VA) tipped the Senate to the Democrats. [I suppose that statement is theoretically lending some credibility to the rest of this farcial story?]
Webb, a decorated former Marine officer, hammered Allen and Bush over the unpopular war in Iraq while wearing his son's old combat boots on the campaign trail. It seems the president may have some lingering resentment. [Note the unsubstantiated and emotionally based BS?]
At a private reception held at the White House with newly elected lawmakers shortly after the election, Bush asked Webb how his son, a Marine lance corporal serving in Iraq, was doing. [Almost factual]
Webb responded that he really wanted to see his son brought back home, said a person who heard about the exchange from Webb. [Oh? Second hand hearsay?]
"I didn't ask you that, I asked how he's doing," Bush retorted, according to the source. [Does anyone seriously believe ANY President would say that?]
Webb confessed that he was so angered by this that he was tempted to slug the commander-in-chief, reported the source, but of course didn't. It's safe to say, however, that Bush and Webb won't be taking any overseas trips together anytime soon. [First of all, only a demented fool would actually believe any of this took place in the current BDS driven atmosphere of the idiots in DC.]
"Jim did have a conversation with Bush at that dinner," said Webb's spokeswoman Kristian Denny Todd. "Basically, he asked about Jim's son, Jim expressed the fact that he wanted to have him home." Todd did not want to escalate matters by commenting on Bush's response, saying, "It was a private conversation." [Oh. Didn't want the "unidentified source to made out to be a liar, eh? BDS works wonders on the political scene.]
A White House spokeswoman declined to give Bush's version of the conversation. [No doubt. Using the same pathetic reporting of this fool, I will claim that GWB asked for this to stop right this very moment because it never took place.]
Do you see how these ignorant libtards stretch things into their demented and twisted views?
