Dangerous Chemicals From Iraq Found At The UN Building In NY?...UPDATED

Dangerous chemicals from Iraq have been "found" at the United Nations building in New York.

Updates will follow as news trickles in.

A few questions beg to be asked. How did these chemicals get to the United States? Who brought them in. Why are they here? Who shipped them here? What is the intent? Who knew about the shipment?

DEVELOPING STORY: Vials of dangerous chemicals found by weapons inspectors in Iraq more than a decade ago were discovered Thursday in a United Nations office building near the world body's headquarters in the heart of New York City.

No evacuations were ordered, and there was no immediate danger to the public, a U.N. spokesman said.

Hazardous materials personnel and the FBI were reported at the United Nations Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission offices at 48th Street and 1st Avenue in Manhattan. The commission's offices are on the building's third and sixth floors.

The material was believed to be phosgene, a chemical warfare agent, U.N. spokeswoman Marie Okabe told a hastily gathered news conference.

U.N. staff found a sealed plastic bag containing "unknown liquid substances contained in metal and glass containers ranging in size from small vials to tubes the length of a pen," she said.

"The only information we have of the contents of that bag is from an inventory of a 1996 inspection which indicates that one of the items may contain phosgene, an old generation chemical warfare agent," Okabe added.

The inspections unit said in a statement that the chemicals had been found last Friday as weapons inspectors were closing their offices, said Ewen Buchanan, a spokesman for the inspectors.

Phosgene was used during World War I as a choking agent, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.

The U.N. issued the following statement on the incident:

"On Friday 24th August 2007 in archiving UNSCOM files, UNMOVI staff discovered two small plastic packages with metal and glass containers (ranging in size from small vials to tubes the length of a pen) with unknown liquid substances. The archives are located at the UNMOVIC headquarters, 866 East 48th Street, 3rd and 6th floors.

"An initial investigation has revealed that these items were recovered from a former Iraqi chemical weapons facility, al Muthamma, by UNSCOM inspectors in 1996.

"It was only on 29 August, however, that the inspection report containing an inventory of the items was recovered. The inventory shows that one of the items may contain phosgene (COCL2) suspended in oil -- an old generation chemical warfare agent. The inventory also indicated that the other package contains Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) reference standards in sealed glass tubes. These standards are used to calibrate chemical analytical equipment.

"UNMOVIC has confirmed that normally such items would have been transported directly to appropriately equipped laboratories for analysis and not sent to UNSCOM/ UNMOVIC headquarters in New York. In the past, UNSCOM chemical samples were sent via military transport directly to Edgewood labs."

The Inspections Are Working

Hey, they finally found those weapons of mass destruction! The Associated Press reports;

Weapons inspectors who had been in Iraq have found a potentially hazardous chemical in their office near U.N. headquarters, a U.N. spokeswoman said Thursday afternoon.

The building is located near the intersection of 48th Street and 1st Avenue on the Upper East Side [sic] of New York's Manhattan borough. No other details were immediately known.

There have long been rumors that Iraq's WMDs had been smuggled to Syria. It's truly disconcerting to hear they're in our neighborhood instead.

Some weeks ago, we brought to your attention an American hosted web site that had explicit instructions as to how to kidnap and if required, kill Americans. That web site has since been "removed".

If there remains any doubt as to the threats we as a Nation face, this should be yet another eye-opener:

On August 26, Islamist websites posted an item titled "How to Join Al-Qaeda." It is not clear when the item was written; it was produced by the website Al-Thabitoun 'Ala Al-'Ahd, which is affiliated with Al-Qaeda in Egypt and is currently inactive.

The item calls on every Muslim to regard jihad as a personal duty and to take initiative to establish a jihad cell without waiting for recognition from Al-Qaeda. It goes on to elaborate on how to form and run the cell, how to raise funds, and how to select a target, "for example, assassinating the American ambassador," which, it states, "takes no more than a gun and a bullet."

As said earlier, Socialist Democrats tried desperately to change the outcome of the 2000 election in Florida to keep a Democrat in the White House. No one blames them for wanting a recount of such a close election, but some of the techniques employed to “determine a voters intent” that did not properly cast their ballot was almost laughable.

As if by clairvoyance, agents searched ballots for any sign that they pin may have touched candidate Al Gore’s name to add that ballot to his count. Sorry, but if you are voting and cannot push a simple and small metal pin through a paper ballot, you have only yourself to blame for your vote not counting.

In Palm Beach County claims were made that the ballot, what became known as the “butterfly ballot,” was too confusing and voters were misled into voting for someone besides Al Gore Jr., who was assumed to walk away with the election.

The ballot was condemned and castigated as another Republican Trick. What they neglect to say is that the ballot was designed by a Democrat and approved by both major parties.

Claims were made that Republicans disenfranchised Black voters and prevented them casting their ballots for Democrats. The claims were subsequently proven false.

Most disturbing, but not really surprising, was the Democrat effort at denying Military Absentee Ballots, while chanting, “every vote should be counted.”

Having failed in changing the outcome of the very close election results in Florida in 2000, Democrats grabbed at their next chance in the Washington State Governors race in the 2004 election.

Once again, it was a very close election between Christine Gregoire and Dino Rossi. Rossi, the Republican, won by a narrow margin triggering a recount. In that recount and a subsequent one, he still won. Democrats resorted to their old “manual recount techniques” and with the help of heavily Democrat King County finding lost ballots, switched the outcome of the election to Democrat Gregoire.

The words once said by the Soviet Union’s Joseph Stalin, "He who votes decides nothing; he who counts the votes decides everything," never rang truer.


Not very long after the horrific Terrorist attacks of 9/11, we were shown the Patriot Act, measures to augment Law Enforcement in apprehending and stopping further Terrorist Attacks. No sooner had it passed into law than the leftist groups were crying and complaining about it. Safeguards written into the law to prevent innocents from being perceived as potential terrorists went largely ignored as cries of “Big Brother” spread across the land as the government was going to watch what everyone read from libraries or they would follow you to see what you did on public computers.

That it wasn’t happening mattered little, just the possibility was enough to launch campaigns opposing this “infringement upon our liberties!”

What many don’t see is that our real liberties have been being restricted and lost, ever so gradually, from leftist groups that are very slowly removing them and instituting Socialism on us.

Second Amendment right to own firearms has been under assault for a very long time and our right to own and protect ourselves with a firearm is currently restricted in many areas.

Smoking bans became very popular and supported by the majority due to repeated claims for decades of how harmful it is to those who use tobacco or are continually near those that do, especially small children. Smoking isn’t a good habit, we all can agree on that, but doesn’t a free society include rights to choose for ourselves? Does the nanny-state need to oversee all aspects of our life they deem inappropriate?

Many states have now passed laws banning smoking inside of any business, especially bars and restaurants. The business owners lost their right to cater to the clientele of their choice while nanny-staters boast of cleaning up the air. Many went out of business and many lost their jobs, but that matters little.

As studies found Passive Smoking Not As Harmful As Previously Thought, findings were ignored and the bans continue spreading further and further into our everyday life. Many blindly accept this due to the obnoxious odor of tobacco smoke, but don’t wake up enough to see that smoking bans are opening the door to even more restrictive bans and restrictions upon our lives.

Outrageous and ever increasing taxes are placed on the legal product, justified by lawsuit settlements and claims of needing extra money to pay for health care costs. Little effort has gone into banning the product completely, though, as was done in the past when products as DDT were banned to protect the public health. (more on this folly later).

To show the greed of the left on tobacco money, the North Dakota legislature attempted to totally ban all tobacco within the state in 2003. The ban was overwhelmingly defeated due to testimony from anti-tobacco groups that testified against the tobacco ban, including the North Dakota Medical Association, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Lung Association, North Dakota Public Health Association and North Dakota Nurses Association.

Why would anti-tobacco groups oppose a total ban on the sale and use of the product they are fighting against? Money! They are the beneficiaries of outrageous taxes imposed upon the sale of the still legal product!

Oddly enough, smoking of marijuana is being pushed for legalization at the same time.

Smoking bans did not originate in the Soviet Union, but can be traced back to another Socialist country, the National Socialist Party of Germany, the Nazi’s, of World War Two infamy.

While I support banning smoking in public buildings where people mingle, it is going too far to ban smoking within one’s home or car, when their children are present, or for companies to mandate employees may not smoke at all, on the job or off.

If you support this intrusion thinking it is all for the better, we also see employers now going after those they deem unfit or overweight. We see fatty foods being regulated and fast food restaurants coming under fire to serve what the government and leftist “I know better than you” groups deem as “healthy.”

We see environmental groups joining forces and pressuring the government to regulate certain vehicles they consider “gas guzzlers,” and imposing a tax upon purchase of these vehicles. Airbags are mandated, as are emission controls that add large cost increases to car prices. Seat belts and side airbags are required with explosive devices to ensure rapid deployment in case of an accident, raising the price even more, all government mandated and automatic, for the good of all.

In an effort at instilling class envy and showing how they would “stick it to the wealthy,” Democrats passed a 10% “Luxury Tax” in 1990, adding a 10% tax on luxury items costing over $100,000. Democrats billed it as the wealthy paying their “fair share.”

The result was upwards of a 93% drop in sales of these items as yacht builders went out of business across the nation; ending thousands of jobs for the working class Democrats said they were helping. The tax was repealed a couple years later, but as Democrats once again regained power in 2006, it appears their quest to take from the rich has not ceased.

Socialist never seem to learn from their past mistakes.

Class Envy seems to be the cornerstone of Socialists power and the Democrats use it effectively, convincing many that the rich don’t pay taxes and the so called poor are overburdened and mistreated by those that own the companies and supply the jobs and wages.

Bolsheviks spent decades preaching this message until they gained political power in Russia towards the end of World War One and used it to build one of the most oppressive regimes ever to exist.

Humans have an innate desire to better themselves and improve their lives and those of their children. Our society has thrived and grown immensely since the birth of the nation due to this innate desire. Socialism robs humans of their ability to improve due to the government giving you what they deem you need and taking any improvements you may build and giving them to others that don’t share your drive.

The quality of your economy flounders and you slip into second-class status or lower. Black Markets thrive as entrepreneurs illegally supply what some desire to survive in a slight modicum of comfort. Your natural desire wanes as you realize you will not ever be able to get or keep what you work for, but it will go to others that are lazy or unable to develop your talents.

That is what Socialism does and why it ultimately fails.

A few days ago, I was wondering where Nancy was. And, here she is trying to get relevant. Well, she gets no cigar. She has a habit of vanishing from the scene.

For some reason, SoH PelosiCo are stuck on the premise that politics solves everything. How so? When has politics and politician ever solved anything? And if our own politicians can't hardly get anything done how in the world can our politicians expect Maliki to get anything done, in a war environment, in about a year in office? What have our politicians accomplished since 11/06? Anything meaningful? Substantial? Perhaps they should clean that mirror off instead of looking at the black hole.

Iraq: House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says the military success of the surge "misses the point" and complains of too little political progress in Baghdad. Is she blind, or does she and other Democrats just refuse to see?

HA! A rhetorical question! The obvious answer is this; it isn't that they refuse to see. They see but if they were to acknowledge it, they would have to admit that they were wrong all along and using our troops as political footballs.

How the ABC, CBS and NBC Morning Shows Are Promoting Democrats On the Road to the White House

As the 2008 presidential campaign season gets underway, wide-open primary races in both the Republican and Democratic parties are competing for the media's attention. So are the broadcast networks covering both sides equally, or are they tilting the campaign playing field in favor of liberal Democratic candidates?

To find out, Media Research Center analysts reviewed all 517 campaign segments on ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's The Early Show and NBC's Today from January 1 through July 31. Those three broadcast morning shows draw nine times the audience of their cable news competitors, and are geared toward everyday voters, not political junkies. These programs are therefore a prime battleground in each campaign's quest for positive media attention.

The results are astonishing: Not only are the network morning shows overwhelmingly focused on Democrats, they are actively promoting the Democrats' liberal agenda.

Among the major findings:

# The networks offered nearly twice as much coverage of the Democrats. More than half of all campaign segments (284, or 55%) focused on the Democratic contest, compared with just 152 (29%) devoted to the Republicans. The remaining stories either offered roughly equal discussion of both parties or did not focus on the major parties.

# All three Democratic frontrunners received more attention than any of the top Republican candidates, with New York Senator Hillary Clinton receiving the most coverage of all.

# Undeclared liberal candidates such as former Vice President Al Gore and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg received more network TV attention than many of the declared Republican candidates.

# The network morning shows doled out nearly three times as much airtime (4 hours, 35 minutes) to interviews with the various Democratic campaigns. In contrast, the Republicans received just 1 hour and 44 minutes of interview airtime.

# In their interviews with the candidates, the network hosts emphasized a liberal agenda. Of the substantive questions that could be categorized as reflecting a political agenda, more than two-thirds (69%) of the questions to Democrats reflected a liberal premise, and more than four-fifths (82%) of the questions to Republicans came from the same perspective.

# The top Democratic candidates received much more favorable coverage than their GOP counterparts, with Senator Clinton cast as "unbeatable" and Illinois Senator Barack Obama tagged as a "rock star." The most prominent Republican, Arizona Senator John McCain, was portrayed as a loser because of his support for staying the course in Iraq.

# Not once did network reporters describe Senator Clinton and former North Carolina Senator John Edwards as "liberal," while ABC only once labeled Obama as "liberal." Yet the networks showed no hesitation in attaching the "liberal" label to Republican frontrunner Rudy Giuliani, who was so branded 12 times.

These early returns suggest that ABC, CBS and NBC are skewing their news in ways that will benefit the Democratic candidates in 2008. The broadcast networks have a responsibility to cover both parties in a fair and even-handed manner -- not for the sake of the candidates, but for the voters. That means giving viewers a chance to hear from all of the major candidates in interviews, asking them similar questions, and balancing the day-to-day news coverage to keep both Democratic and Republican primary voters equally well-informed.

Anti-War Agenda

Media: CNBC and MSNBC have refused to air educational commercials that support the war in Iraq. That's their privilege. And it's our privilege to point out the networks' rank hypocrisy.

The commercials were created by Freedom's Watch, a new tax-exempt advocacy group. Its $15 million campaign includes at least four ads it wants to run in 20 states through mid-September. They feature Iraq War veterans, some of them wounded, and military families, some whose loved ones have died in the war.

The goal is to provide a view of the war that old-line media don't care to report and to urge Congress not to give up on the troops.

So far Fox and CNN have aired the commercials. But CNBC and MSNBC won't touch them. Bradley Blakeman, president and CEO of Freedom's Watch, has written John Kelly, senior vice president for NBC News' network sales, asking why and requesting an "explanation of your basis in writing or station policy."

"It is our understanding," Blakeman says, "that the purported basis for the denial is a network policy denying access to groups that wish to sponsor advertising on controversial issues of public importance." Then he points out that that NBC has a "recent history of airing such ads."

There's been no response, but none is necessary. The real reason the networks are refusing is clear: The spots are at odds with their position on the war.

So much for "fair and balanced" and "no political bias here" garbage, eh?

Thank you for contacting my office regarding the ongoing situation in Iraq . I appreciate your taking the time to bring your views on this important matter to my attention.

I believe that had we known Saddam Hussein did not have weapons of mass destruction, the Congress would not have authorized the invasion of Iraq . Nonetheless, now that we are there, I feel we should give the Iraqis an opportunity to solidify a democratic government and do our best to establish the capabilities of Iraq 's army and police forces to provide adequate security. However, continuing violence and instability have made it apparent that Iraq is in a state of civil war and that the past policies of the U.S. and Iraqi governments have been ineffective.

As a member of Congress, I have urged the Administration to work with the Iraqi government and Iraq 's neighbors, including Iran and Syria , to develop cooperative stabilization efforts. To that end, I have personally met with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Iran 's Ambassador to the United Nations in an attempt to help facilitate such an effort. I have also expressed support for the Iraq Study Group, an independent, bipartisan commission led by former Secretary of State James Baker and former Congressman Lee Hamilton which has echoed my call for a new and enhanced diplomatic effort to help stem the violence in Iraq.

In recent months, the U.S. has participated in international conferences organized by the Iraqi government to address regional peace and security, which were also attended by representatives of Iran and Syria . On May 28, 2007 U.S . Ambassador to Iraq Ryan Crocker held talks with his Iranian counterpart in Baghdad . I believe these meetings by the U.S. , Iranian, and Syrian governments could represent a positive step towards easing tensions in Iraq and urge continued dialogue.

On January 10, 2007, President Bush outlined a new strategy for Iraq , to include the deployment of more than 20,000 U.S. troops in support of increased numbers of Iraqi security personnel. I believe there is unanimity that no action be taken by Congress to exercise our "power of the purse" to cutoff funds that would in any way endanger our troops. However, on this state of the record, it remains unclear what a surge in U.S. troops in Iraq will accomplish. The Iraqi government's failure to live up to previous commitments have left me skeptical that such a plan will produce stability in Iraq.

On the issue of troop withdrawal, it is my opinion that the Iraqi government should be put on notice that U.S. forces will not remain in Iraq forever. I believe that our presence, with no indication of departure, has spurred continued violence and has allowed the Iraqis to rely too heavily on the U.S. for security. Nonetheless, at this time I do not support a definitive timeline for withdrawal, as I believe Congress can not micromanage the war and that a timeline would enable the enemy to win by waiting us out. I want to give the diplomatic initiatives with Iran and Syria an opportunity to stabilize the situation.

Although I question the impact of a surge in U.S. troops, I am cognizant of the consequences of a premature departure. The Iraq Study Group concluded that "Because of the importance of Iraq, the potential for catastrophe, and the role and commitments of the United States in initiating events that have led to the current situation, we believe it would be wrong for the United States to abandon the country through a precipitate withdrawal of troops and support." U.S. forces should not remain in Iraq any longer than necessary. Iraqi government forces will ultimately be responsible for securing their country. As ever increasing numbers of Iraqi security forces are trained and able to conduct operations on their own, U.S. forces should gradually redeploy.

Israeli Expert Warns Americans

This email REALLY got my attention. I checked it with snopes.com and they can't say for sure if its true or false BUT they do have a lot to say about it.
I'm posting this at the risk of being labeled a fear monger; but I feel responsible to get this word out. Maybe some authoritative source can inform us better as to what, if anything, can be (or is being) done.

Israeli Counterterrorism expert, Juval Aviv, met recently with reporters at Fox News and revealed information, which he believes is accurate, concerning an imminent Al Qaeda attack on five to seven American cities simultaneously.

"I predict, based primarily on information that is floating in Europe and the Middle East, that an event is imminent and around the corner here in the United States. It could happen as soon as tomorrow, or it could happen in the next few months. Ninety days at the most," said Mr. Aviv.

Mr. Aviv knows of that which he speaks. He is a former Israeli Counterterrorism Intelligence Officer and has also served as a special consultant to the U.S. Congress on issues of terrorism and security. He is best known as the source of the 1984 book, Vengeance: The True Story of an Israeli Counter-Terrorist Team by George Jonas, on which Steven Spielberg's film Munich was based. He is also the author of The Complete Terrorism Survival Guide: How to Travel, Work and Live in Safety (2003); and Staying Safe: The Complete Guide to Protecting Yourself, Your Family, and Your Business (2004). Currently, Aviv is the president of Interfor, Inc., a corporate investigations firm in New York City.

Considering Aviv's background and experience in global terror and its operating methods, it would be foolish to ignore or minimize this veteran's expert prognosis. Mr. Aviv told Fox that, from what his sources have been relating, sleeper cells already positioned inside the continental United States are on the verge of carrying out major attacks.

"What they're going to do," he explained, "is hit six, seven or eight cities simultaneously to show sophistication and really hit the public. This time, which is the message of the day, it will not only be big cities. They're going to try to hit rural America. They want to send a message to rural America: "You're not protected. If you figured out that if you just move out of New York and move to Montana or to Pittsburgh, you're not immune. We're going [to] get you wherever we can and it's easier there than in New York."

While this prediction leaves most Americans feeling helpless, fearful and frustrated, Aviv recommends that we at least do what we can. He suggests that for the next few months, if you are traveling by public transportation, equip yourselves with a bottle of water, a hand towel and a flashlight. He reminds us that many fatalities in the London tube and Madrid train attacks occurred from victims who breathed in the lethal fumes from bomb components and burning gasoline. Had these people had wet towels to cover their mouths and noses, they would have had a much better chance of survival.

In particular Aviv very strongly urges a policy of "If you See Something - Say Something". He reminds Americans that a great number of potentially lethal terror attacks in Israel have been - and still are - thwarted by the intelligent actions on the part of alert, aware and watchful citizens. Americans must do the same, he advises. The global war on terror is not "somewhere over there in the Middle East." It is here on our own soil. If ever there were a time to be especially vigilant, the time is now.

Let us hope and pray that these vicious enemies and their depraved plans will be prevented, and the perpetrators apprehended. US law enforcement, military, counter-terrorism and intelligence personnel have thus far done an outstanding job. Keep in mind, however, that the stakes are very uneven. Law enforcement and counter-terrorism agents must succeed 100% of the time in order to protect a population. Terrorists only have to succeed once to snuff out thousands of lives.

THEREFORE, please do not naively dismiss this article. Stay alert - stay away from crowds - and if you see something, say something! You could be the one to save hundreds, if not thousands, of lives.

The prudent man prepares for eventualities. The fool laughs it off until something happens and finds himself completely unprepared.

Ever since President Bush won the Florida electoral votes in the farcical recounts in 2000, we have seen relentless attacks on his character, Military Service with the Texas Air National Guard as an F-102 Fighter Pilot, his appointees, his nominees and his handling of everything from standard day to day practices to War on Terror and Hurricane Katrina. I can’t think of anything bad that has happened that he didn’t somehow receive the blame for, leading to what we conservatives now call BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome).

Prior to the 2004 elections I asked for any one afflicted with this disorder, due to their cry of him never being held accountable for his mis-actions by the major media sources, to list any pro-Bush articles they could find, either by link or title. To date, one was returned, the 2004 Time Man of the Year, which also listed possible shortcomings prominently.

Cabinet members have been endlessly castigated by the leftists, resulting in several resigning in his second term. Judicial Nominees appointed early in his first term are still waiting confirmation while others were subjected to endless filibusters in an attempt to prevent President Bush from carrying out his legal responsibilities and implementing his vision for the country that elected him, twice!

As is known with neo-communism, one dare not step out of group think for even a second. Democrat Representative Brian Baird of Washington States 3rd Congressional District. Rep. Baird, my Representative and who I am most often at odds with, apparently has the audacity to travel to Iraq and return with the conviction that we need to stay and finish the mission there, now. Amazing how seeing something first hand instead of what you are told by someone else who was told by someone else who was told by someone else what to think, can do to your attitude.

After a few days of condemnations from leftist constituents, Congressman Baird held a local Town Hall Meeting where he was racked over the coals by locals that really have no dog in this hunt in the first place, just anger that someone changed his position for good reason.

Anti-war activist Zamme Joi brayed, "You have the opportunity this September to get back to that man you were two years ago," adding, "There is only one way to end an illegal and immoral war, and that's to end it." Joi neglected to state just which laws declare the Iraqi Theater of the War on Terror illegal. Also completely ignored is what becomes of the Iraqi people should the neo-com left succeed in getting their way on this. Some others were heard to say that Baird “represents us and had better get his act together (paraphrasing).” I suppose to them, Congressman Baird does not represent the rest of us that live here in Southwest Washington States 3rd District.

For a group that has complained now for years that President Bush and the Republicans are mere “rubber stamps” for each other, I find it ironic that “rubber stamping” their agenda is what they expect from Congressmen.

Prior to World War Two, earlier versions of this leftist crowd were solidly opposed to any American involvement in that war. That is, until such time as Hitler’s Nazi Germany turned on and attacked Stalin’s Soviet Union. Then, they were all too eager to save “the Motherland.”

Since winning the off year elections in 2006 by not presenting any ideas, just portraying the Republican Party as “corrupt” and expressing never ending hatred of President Bush, while hiding their own corruption, remember, there has been a voluminous number of hearings and investigation initiated over legal matters performed by the Bush administration, all in an effort to present the air of impropriety within the administration.

As I previously noted, their tactics mirror those of the Bolsheviks very closely towards the end of World War One that resulted in establishing the now failed Soviet Union. Every act I see coming out of the main Democrat party today looks as if all they desire is defeat in hopes that it will propel them into permanent power in implementing their neo-communist agenda masked as liberalism.

Mirroring the Soviet Communists we see calls and judicial decisions in favor of “Separation of Church and State.” Christianity, what the majority of our country believes and what many of our Founding Fathers practiced, is all but outlawed in the public arena. Oddly enough, “Separation of Church and State” is not found in our constitution, being decided by the Supreme Court, first quoted in 1878 and subsequently in several more cases starting in 1947. Religious expressions by Islamic people’s, where the Terrorist hail from, is encouraged and tolerated, but not Christianity.

What is most revealing is that while Separation of Church and State is not expressed in our own constitution, it was very prominent in the constitution of the former Soviet Union where Article 52, section 2 states, “In the USSR, the church is separated from the state, and the school from the church.” Asking many who lived under the Soviet regime and they will inform you that this was translated as no public religion.

Our own constitution’s Bill of Rights in part, starts off with, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” Through the efforts of atheist leftists, this has been circumvented and our religious ideals have been laid by the wayside throughout America.

Our constitution has been interpreted as a ‘fluid document,’ leaving it open to interpretation of leftists that have been known to consult the laws of nations as Zimbabwe to decide cases concerning our nation. The concept of ‘sovereignty’ seems to be lost on activist judges and the Democrat party, as they forever desire us to be under the watchful control of the United Nations, who can’t seem to manage anything other than enriching delegates from third world member nations as oppressive regimes are rotated onto Human Rights commissions.

Eminent domain has now been reinterpreted to allow local governments to take private property, not to build thoroughfares or public buildings, but to be sold to private developers to develop into more expensive venues in order to fatten to tax coffers of government by collecting higher property taxes from the developed property. Private property ownership is essential to freedom. Without that right we are placed at the mercy of wealthy landlords that do own the property and may manipulate us as they would a puppet.

Chapter 2, paragraph 3 subsection ‘a’ of the first Soviet Constitution in 1918 abolished all rights to own property, without compensation. Are we far behind that with the courts ruling on eminent domain?

In 1886 the country of France presented a very young America with a gift of a statue that was erected in the entrance to New York’s Harbor. On that statue is the inscription,

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door."

In the 1800’s and early 1900’s people from all over were fleeing feudal countries and arriving in America, coming to find freedom and build a nation. All came following the laws of America with the idea to become Americans and live as Americans. They struggled to learn our language and cultures blended in what became known as the Great American Melting Pot.

The Melting Pot was wrongfully denied to some and today, as they are now welcome to be part of it, we find multi-culturalism replacing it, erasing the distinctive American fiber that built the nation. Slavery was ended as was legal repression of Black descendants of slavery. Instead of encouraging embracing each other as Americans, we now embrace hyphenated Americans, seeking pride in what our ancestors fled and trying to institute that here.

Along with that push for multi-culturalism comes illegal immigration, with millions ignoring the laws that settlers set up and flooding our borders. Some come to better themselves, but others come to do us harm or push for return of millions of square miles of land lost in a war and justly bought in the mid 1880’s.

Instead of demanding enforcement of our laws, the Democrat party largely embraces these illegals and grants them benefits paid for by taxpayers, working the illegals at below minimum wage jobs and in effect, creating another slave class of people. Somehow, laws requiring only American citizens be allowed to vote are discarded, as long as the illegals register and vote for Democrats.

What harm can this do, you say? Are not these people just trying to better themselves, as did early settlers before? NO! These people hide in the shadows, drain our economy by taking benefits they are not deserving of and instead of circulating wages back into our economy, they send upwards of $25,000,000,000.00 back to their home nation yearly. Instead of learning our language, they demand we learn theirs and supply them with taxpayer paid healthcare and other entitlement benefits set up to help citizens in their time of need.

We are told we no longer wish to follow the inscription on the Statue of Liberty, but that isn’t true. We love immigrants that come here to be Americans and do as earlier settlers did, become American and build the nation, not just take from it. Our only desire is for them to follow our laws, as we would have to do in their countries. But, legal immigrants may not vote or Democrats, so they accept the flood of illegals with open arms and ballots pre-marked for Democrat candidates.

U.S. National Intelligence Director Mike McConnell dropped the bombshell at the tail end of an unusually candid interview with the El Paso Times. Here's a transcript:

Times: Are terrorists coming across the Southwest border?

McConnell: There were a significant number of Iraqis who came across last year. Smuggled across illegally.

Times: Can you give any more detail?

McConnell: It's significant numbers. I don't remember what it is. The point is it went from a number to triple in a single year, because they figured it out.

He explained that they obtained forged passports in Lebanon and other Mideast countries, which got them into South America, where they hooked up with human smugglers.

So, what's up?

“Overall, majorities in 15 of 16 Muslim publics surveyed say that suicide bombings can be rarely or never justified,” according to the report. Bangladesh, Indonesia, Jordan, Lebanon and Pakistan registered the most impressive drops, compared to 2002 numbers.

Every Muslim who loudly and consistently condemns acts of violence by those who distort the true meaning and purpose of Islam, including bin Laden, deserves praise.

So, suicide bombings ain't justified. Whoopie!!! Why didn't the Pew Global Attitudes Project survey attitudes toward bombings, shootings, knifing and rocket attacks that do not involve the death of the perpetrator? Oh, but they condemn attacks on innocent civilians! Great! Only Muslim civilians are innocent. Disbelievers are Kuffar: rebels against Allah; najis, not innocent. Our abode is Hell and its every Muslim's duty to send us there.

Exactly who are those who "distort the true meaning and purpose of Islam" ? What is the true meaning and purpose of Islam? The meaning is surrender. The purpose is the personal empowerment and emolument of Muhammad and his Caliphs.

"Moderate Muslims" swear that aggression, genocide and terrorism are haram; they have no place in Islam. Should we believe them, or should we believe Allah and his Messenger? What did Allah and his Messenger say about this subject?

• 2:216 Jihâd (holy fighting in Allâh's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims) though you dislike it, and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allâh knows but you do not know.
• 8:39 And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and polytheism: i.e. worshipping others besides Allâh) and the religion (worship) will all be for Allâh Alone [in the whole of the world ]. But if they cease (worshipping others besides Allâh), then certainly, Allâh is All-Seer of what they do.
• 9:29 Fight against those who (1) believe not in Allâh, (2) nor in the Last Day, (3) nor forbid that which has been forbidden by Allâh and His Messenger (4) and those who acknowledge not the religion of truth (i.e. Islâm) among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians), until they pay the Jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
• Sahih Bukhari Volume 1, Book 8, Number 387:
  Narrated Anas bin Malik:
  Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally and their reckoning will be with Allah." Narrated Maimun ibn Siyah that he asked Anas bin Malik, "O Abu Hamza! What makes the life and property of a person sacred?" He replied, "Whoever says, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', faces our Qibla during the prayers, prays like us and eats our slaughtered animal, then he is a Muslim, and has got the same rights and obligations as other Muslims have."

The "Moderate Muslims" tell us that the lesser Jihad is haram. Allah said that it is ordained for Muslims.Allah said fight them until only Allah is worshiped; until they submit and pay tribute. Muhammad said that he was "ordered to fight the people" until they submit, when their blood and property will become sacred to Muslims. Muhammad declared open season on us!

• 3:151 We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they joined others in worship with Allâh, for which He had sent no authority; their abode will be the Fire and how evil is the abode of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong­doers).
• 8:12 Remember) when your Lord inspired the angels, "Verily, I am with you, so keep firm those who have believed. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who have disbelieved, so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes."
• 33:26 And those of the people of the Scripture who backed them (the disbelievers) Allâh brought them down from their forts and cast terror into their hearts, (so that) a group (of them) you killed, and a group (of them) you made captives.
• 33:27 And He caused you to inherit their lands, and their houses, and their riches, and a land which you had not trodden (before). And Allâh is Able to do all things.
• Bukhari Volume 4, Book 52, Number 220: ..."I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy), and while I was sleeping, the keys of the treasures of the world were brought to me and put in my hand."...

So terror is haram? Why then did Allah sanctify and command it? Why did Muhammad practice it? Why did Muhammad brag about it?

• 8:67 It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war (and free them with ransom) until he had made a great slaughter (among his enemies) in the land. You desire the good of this world (i.e. the money of ransom for freeing the captives), but Allâh desires (for you) the Hereafter. And Allâh is All-Mighty, All-Wise.
• Abu Dawud Book 38, Number 4390:
  Narrated Atiyyah al-Qurazi:
  I was among the captives of Banu Qurayzah. They (the Companions) examined us, and those who had begun to grow hair (pubes) were killed, and those who had not were not killed. I was among those who had not grown hair.

So genocide is haram: "made a great slaughter"? Muhammad had 800 prisoners of war and their adolescent sons decapitated. Yeah, right: genocide is haram in Islam!

What should Muslims do about it? Let us consult the standard handbook of Islamic law: Reliance of the Traveler to see what the Caliph should do.

• O-9.8: The Objectives of Jihad
  The caliph (o-25) makes war upon Jews, Christians, and Zoroastrians (N: provided he has first invited them to enter Islam in faith and practice, and if they will not, then invited them to enter the social order of Islam by paying the non-Muslim poll tax (jizya, def: o-11.4) -which is the significance of their paying it, not the money itself-while remaining in their ancestral religions) (O: and the war continues) until they become Muslim or else pay the non-Muslim poll tax (O: in accordance with the word of Allah Most High,
  "Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the Last Day and who forbid not what Allah and His messenger have forbidden-who do not practice the religion of truth, being of those who have been given the Book-until they pay the poll tax out of hand and are humbled" (Koran 9.29),

That's awful! Lets get a second opinion!

• Al-Shafi'i (God have mercy on him) said: "The least that the imam must do is that he allow no year to pass without having organised a military expedition by himself, or by his raiding parties, according to the Muslims' interest, so that the jihad will only be stopped in a year for a (reasonable) excuse."

I call for genuine Moderate Muslims who reject conquest, genocide and terrorism to publicly proclaim the above cited ayat & ahadith to be the result of Satanic influence [22:52], null & void; neither to be believed nor carried out. I call for them to sign and promote the Moderate Muslim Majority Rejecting Terrorism petition. I call for the Grand Mufti at Al-Azhar to issue a fatwa forbidding the practice of Lesser Jihad, genocide and terrorism; abjuring the above cited ayat & ahadith and fiqh. I call upon CAIR, ISNA, MPAC, FMCAT & AIFD to do the same.

Last, but not least, I call on the elected leadership of this nation to quit spewing feces such as President Bush spewed at the American Legion Convention:

The murderers and beheaders are not the true face of Islam; they are the face of evil. They seek to exploit religion as a path to power and a means to dominate the Middle East. The violent Islamic radicalism that inspires them has two main strains.

Islam, as preached and practiced by Muhammad, is the true face of evil. Muhammad created Islam for the purpose of accruing wealth, income, power and sex slaves. That's what Islam is. That's what Islam does. It is not hijacked, distorted nor perverted. Neither is it moderate nor radical; it is Islam. I disrespectfully demand that those who lead us, those who seek to lead us and those who claim to educate & inform us quit spewing feces and acknowledge objective factual reality.
