Lame Stream Media Censoring Truth
Banned by PBS: Muslims Against Jihad
Fox News presents:
Saturday, June 23 at 9 p.m. ET
Repeats Sunday, June 24 at 3 a.m. ET
Hosted by E.D. HillTune in this weekend, as FOX News Channel presents the documentary the Public Broadcasting System didn’t want you to see.
It’s a film about the difference between moderate Muslims and the radicals who want to kill us. It asks where are the moderate Muslims and why aren’t they speaking out against the jihadists? And it was financed with $675,000 of taxpayers’ money.
It was commissioned as part of the PBS series “America at the Crossroads” about the post 9/11 world, but PBS executives rejected it.
PBS claims the filmmakers were “alarmist, overreaching and unfair.”
The filmmakers say they were censored because of liberal bias at PBS.
On a topic this important, we think you have the right to decide for yourself.
So what will anyone do about it? Will we help the “apostates”? Are they worthy? And what will the “apostates” do with the “kill the infidel” portions of the Koran? Can entire sections of their Holy Book be denied and if so, is their Holy Book still Holy?
Astute Blogger has it blogged:
An America at a Crossroads film about the war within the Muslim world, how moderate Muslims are voicing their objections to the teachings of radical Islam, and how they are being persecuted for doing so in Europe, North America and Africa, demonstrating Islamist persecution of moderate Muslims is a worldwide phenomenon.
Muslims Against Jihad (not the original title)
An America at a Crossroads Research and Development project examining the way radical Muslims intimidate proponents of more moderate interpretations of the Koran and why Islamist beliefs have gained such popularity in the Muslim world.
In some ways it was like watching how the mob works at different things.
I must agree with that one guy about Saudi Arabia.
I’m sorry but I’m not buying it.
It didn’t go far enough, IMO.

I thought “Islam vs. Islamists” was the one PBS wouldn’t air?

The made two different films. I believe the second one was shown by FN. PBS spiked ‘em both, but one station out west is supposed to show it this summer sometime. I can’t see it with basic cable.
The problem: Islam is Islam. The Qur’an sets the standard, Muhammad’s Sunnah exemplifies it, and it is immutable. Islam is a predator, and it can not switch to productivity.
I have laid out the details here:
http://www.geocities.com/crusadersarmory/downloads/CanIslambeReformed.pdf .
Those who claim to be moderates can not refute the ayat & ahadith used to justify Jihad. Nor will they attempt to. Neither FMCAT nor AIFD has endorsed the Moderate Muslim Majority Rejecting Jihad (No2Jihad) petition. After more than a year, it has only 130 signatures, most of which are trolls. http://www.petitiononline.com/No2Jihad/petition.html
Allah commands Jihad. Allah commands genocide. Allah commands terror. No Muslim can reject them; Muslims are submitters to Allah. To Hell with them!

The theoretical moderates are either lying or apostates.

It told me more about jihad than just muslims.
I would have liked to see the original, not one redone to suit PBS.

I am sure they will be out on DVD after PBS finishes the series. The other one banned by PBS will more than likely be put out on DVD as well.
If you go to their web site, you can see how much it cost to make.

Are you saying there is no such thing as a moderate Muslim?

INRE #7…YAY!! An actual question!
Yes…no…maybe.
“Moderates” are considered anathema to the Jihadis and are marked for death just like everyone else. Under threat of death or death to family members, they can be persuaded to comply with Jihad. It happens every day.
I don’t trust any of them when it comes down to the wire. There might be some “moderates” but seeing that you are a Jihadi, why do you care?
And before you have another temper tantrum, you did pose as an Islami yesterday.

What are you talking about? And, once more, just because I deplore the war in Iraq does not mean I support those murderers. You have to make a distinction between condemning a government and working in conjunction with a real threat to this country.

Go ahead, help the ‘moderates’ out, just don’t expect it to work for long. As long as there is eve the concept of Islam and the Koran I’m sure there will always be a very large and appealing strain of radicalism because that’s simply the only option for a real Muslim. I saw the end of the documentary last night on FNC with the Muslim rapper in France. They said he wasn’t devout, and that gave it away. He’s not really a Muslim, he’s basically an apostate.

It don’t take away the facts. And no one showed me anyway beyond a reasonable doubt that muslims condemned islam.
Sorry if I’m not buying into it. Are we going to take that chance?
Too many unanswered questions.

Some folks have a problem with the apostate status of the “moderates”. They may be moderates but when it comes down to the wire of the threats to their families, who knows what side they will choose?
