Twas' the night before the "Fight for Victory Tour" launched and all through the hotel...
Hello, everyone, Melanie Morgan here, writing to you on the eve of the most ambitious cross-country pro-troop effort of its kind that's ever been undertaken - the "Fight for Victory Tour."
It's Sunday night, and I have just driven up from San Francisco, California to Carson City, Nevada after stopping by Vacaville, California to pick up Catherine Moy - the award-winning journalist who is the lead blogger for Move America Forward.
I'm on the way to the Reno airport to pick up Lt. Colonel Buzz Patterson (USAF, Ret.) who serves as Vice Chairman of Move America Forward. Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee has flown in to Sacramento to join Blue Star Mom Deborah Johns and the rest of the Move America Forward staff who are driving up to Carson City, Nevada for the kickoff of our historic pro-troop caravan.
We will be traveling more than 4,384 miles across this nation for this effort - stopping to hold 27 pro-troop rallies along the way.
What else can I possibly say to thank you for all the support you have shown Move America Forward? How else can I stress the importance of having you and others join our caravan for all or part of the way - and to attend one or more of our pro-troop rallies.
You have heard from all of us at Move America Forward explaining how critical this effort is - given the mid-September debate that will occur in Congress about whether our troops will be forced to surrender to al-Qaida.
I will ask for your continued prayers and well-wishes as we launch this massive undertaking tomorrow morning with our 9:00 AM rally in Carson City.

1. We are continuing to raise money to purchase radio, TV and Internet ads to get the word out about this caravan and these rallies - we need this caravan to grow, and our rallies to increase in size - as we cross the nation. You can contribute online here:
2. A supporter sent in this video they made to inspire you all to take action to join with us for the "Fight for Victory Tour" and to make sure you are in Washington, D.C. by September 15th for the giant "Gathering of Eagles" pro-troop/pro-veteran event.
