Vets on the Hill Sept. 17 & 18

Dear Veteran,

Thank you for your support of our troops and their mission in Iraq. Vets for Freedom (VFF) has received a number of RSVP forms from veterans around the country.

This email is a reminder that 1:00 pm EST on Friday, September 7th is the last day VFF will arrange your hotel stay for you while you are in Washington DC on 17th and 18th of September. Your transportation, lodging, and meals will be paid for by VFF.

After Friday September 7th VFF will still cover the cost of your travel, lodging and meals, but cannot guarantee a hotel room at the VFF approved site. Furthermore, you will be responsible for arranging the details of your lodging.

Secondly, VFF is asking all of you who have already signed up to attend to find two additional veterans to attend these meetings with you. Their transportation, lodging, and meals will be paid for by Vets for Freedom. Please send them a copy of this email so they can sign up as well.

Hundreds of veterans will be attending a series of events to lobby their home state Senators in Washington, DC to encourage them to support our troops and accomplish their mission in Iraq. This is an event that will make headlines in the national media. This is a chance to get to know other vets from your home state and around the country while influencing your elected officials.
