The Latest and Greatest Iraq War Myths...It Is the Time of the Year For Them

In a post we made waaaaaaaaaay back on 12/14/2007, we brought our readers the following post: Moonbat Intelligence - The Myth. We discussed the continuing psycho-babble from the idgits still yammering and contorting themselves because the once vaunted myths of the Iraq War have one by one, been placed in the Abyss of Obscurity the moonbats and the Leftinistra kook fringe have dug for themselves. As the writers of Strategy Page so predicted, around this time of year, the moonbats will ooze from under their algae coated mud ponds and slither around on their bellies as the reptiles they are. Juan Cole is one of these. The idgit just doesn't get it.

Apparently, the "old myths" didn't hunt anymore so the Leftinistra have invented new ones...simply amazing. We informed our readers many times that the Leftinistra would have to do this very thing...invent new issues because their "issues" and attacks on America went down in flames in 2007...their target of hatred became their conqueror. GWB defeated them at every turn and on every issue.

The "old myths" of the Iraq War:

MYTH ONE...No Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)
MYTH TWO...The 2003 Invasion was Illegal
MYTH THREE...Sanctions were working
MYTH FOUR...Overthrowing Saddam Only Helped Iran
MYTH FIVE...The Invasion Was a Failure
MYTH SIX...The Invasion Helped Al Qaeda
MYTH SEVEN...Iraq Is In A State of Civil War
MYTH EIGHT...Iraqis Were Better Off Under Saddam
MYTH NINE...The Iraq War Caused Islamic Terrorism to Increase in Europe
MYTH TEN...The War in Iraq is Lost

All of the above are no longer issues, correct? New myths have been created for us for the BDS injected Bush Loathers and fellow anti-Americanists:

10. Myth: The US public no longer sees Iraq as a central issue in the 2008 presidential campaign.
9. Myth: There have been steps toward religious and political reconciliation in Iraq in 2007.
8. Myth: The US troop surge stopped the civil war that had been raging between Sunni Arabs and Shiites in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
7. Myth: Iran was supplying explosively formed projectiles (a deadly form of roadside bomb) to Salafi Jihadi (radical Sunni) guerrilla groups in Iraq.
6. Myth: The US overthrow of the Baath regime and military occupation of Iraq has helped liberate Iraqi women.
5. Myth: Some progress has been made by the Iraqi government in meeting the "benchmarks" worked out with the Bush administration.
4. Myth: The Sunni Arab "Awakening Councils," who are on the US payroll, are reconciling with the Shiite government of PM Nuri al-Maliki even as they take on al-Qaeda remnants.
3. Myth: The Iraqi north is relatively quiet and a site of economic growth.
2. Myth: Iraq has been "calm" in fall of 2007 and the Iraqi public, despite some grumbling, is not eager for the US to depart.
1. Myth: The reduction in violence in Iraq is mostly because of the escalation in the number of US troops, or "surge."

This is great stuff here...the Libtards really are in need of psychiatric aid. One of these days, America will rid itself of such ignorant and pompous anti-Americanists...the sooner the better.

Reade the old myths and compare them to the new myths...are they really that much different?
