Treason In Vermont...UPDATED
~Snooper~
BDS runs deep in Vermont in these trying times. It seems a bearded fellow from Brattleboro wants President Bush and Vice-President Cheney arrested should they ever step foot in the backwoods township.
It seems that the targets of the BDS have violated the United States Constitution in some way yet this "declaration" is what has violated the United States Constitution. Go figure. Another moonbat Double Standard.

A group in Brattleboro is petitioning to put an item on a town meeting agenda in March that would make Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney subject to arrest and indictment if they visit the southeastern Vermont community. How about we round these poor and pathetic wastes of human flesh and ship them to Iran? It never ceases to amaze me how these types of anti-Americanists never list the alleged crimes against the Constitution. Do they even know of which they yammer?
"This petition is as radical as the Declaration of Independence, and it draws on that tradition in claiming a universal jurisdiction when governments fail to do what they're supposed to do," said Kurt Daims, 54, a retired machinist leading the drive.
As president, Bush has visited every state except Vermont.
The town meeting, an annual exercise in which residents gather to vote on everything from fire department budgets to municipal policy, requires about 1,000 signatures to place a binding item on the agenda.
The measure asks: "Shall the Selectboard instruct the Town Attorney to draft indictments against President Bush and Vice President Cheney for crimes against our Constitution, and publish said indictment for consideration by other municipalities?" [...]
From The Jawa Report
As the Surge continues to work as planned desperate lunatic fringe lefties get more and more idiotic. [...]Spot on.
[...] Without the will and wherewithal (and luck, or, perhaps, a beneficent Providence) to enforce the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers would have gone down in history as traitors to the Crown.
Kurt's little hissy fit is simply treason, without any noble purpose.
Stupid syrup-sucking stump jumper.
