This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

Blog Burst Here

The body of the petition:

To: Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House
Harry Reid, U.S. Senate Democrat Leader

Congress has passed and President Bush has vetoed H.R. 1591, the Iraq Surrender Act of 2007.

This legislation, which you worked to pass, sets a timetable for surrender. It pulls the rug out from under our troops. That is shameful and wrong.

Your actions have already emboldened the enemy. Violent jihadists now know that the elected leadership of Congress would undermine the troops by holding their funding hostage to demands for surrender.

This Congress would bring us back to the dark days of the 1970s, when the world doubted our staying power. Except only much worse. Withdraw in April 2008, and on May 1, Iraq becomes an unchecked den of terrorism at the heart of the Middle East — a new base for the same people that struck our homeland on September 11th.

I stand with our troops. I stand for victory. I support the President’s veto and will urge my representatives to vote to sustain it.

There can be one and only one outcome in Iraq: We win, they lose.

5/4/07 update: 4300 and rising!!

We Win, They Lose Keeps Growing

Over 4,300 of you have signed the “We Win, They Lose” petition since we launched it on Monday. Can we get over 5,000 today?Last night, former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist added his voice to the effort:

The President was right to veto the bill because mandating withdrawaldates will only strengthen our enemy, and several bloggers havelaunched a new Internet campaign (www.wewintheylose.com) to make that point clear.

RonaldReagan’s quote “We Win. They lose.” expressed our country’sdetermination to defeat the Soviet Union in the Cold War – the samedetermination we must maintain to achieve success in Iraq.

I encourage you to visit www.wewintheylose.com,sign their petition and then tell your friends, family members andco-workers about it. Also, continue posting your thoughts regarding theWar on Terror on my blog. Together we can make clear to congressionalDemocrats that surrender is not a solution.

I’m not sure Senator Frist would have been my candidate had he run, but he is one of the most accomplished and impressive statesmen of this political generation. And better still, he reads the blogs and is responsive to the grassroots.

We Win, They Lose is also moving up on Digg. Will you Digg it so we can get even more people joining this effort?
