Reality bites the Dems

This here is a very interesting article. It shows just how dumb the Leftinistra are. The Leftinistra, in the name of “me first”, have set aside the terrorist threat realities for the All Mighty Political Office and the Ultra All Mighty Political Power. They and they alone want to win the war on terror. However, in order to get into position to win the war on terror, they first have to trash the country through their Bush Derangement Syndrome. Then, they will be in position to win the war.
They don’t realize, or maybe they do and if so death to them all, that the terrorists are using them to advance on many fronts. If the spirit of our fighting forces can be so impaired as to make them ineffective, the terrorists win and then all bets are off.
Alas! I digress. Here are a couple of interesting paragraphs from the very interesting article.
It’s almost enough to make you feel sorry for the Democratic presidential candidates. Just as they’re settling into their game plans, one inconvenient truth after another emerges to disrupt them. And that doesn’t even include Al Gore’s weather forecasts. (and that is almost funny)
Last week was especially nettlesome. It started with GOP front-runner Rudy Giuliani laying down the marker that America would be safer with a Republican President, a surprise attack that put the Dems’ Gang of Eight on the defensive. (It also pi**ed them off as well. That was a real funny schtick that was, to watch them squirm.) Then in quick succession came former CIA Director George Tenet’s warning of likely Al Qaeda attacks in the U.S. (And why didn’t this idiot let us do something about it when we had MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES to do so?) and a report that Saudi Arabia had arrested 172 militants who were plotting to blow up oil installations in the desert kingdom. (All is quiet on the Leftinistra front in this regard. Why is that, pray tell?)
The cumulative effect was to remind the nation that the war on terror, or whatever it’s called these days, is far from over. (In case y’all are wondering, the Leftinistra wanted to change the name of the Global War On Terror. You know. Make it politically Correct and all that nonsense. Morons.) That reminder served as a warning to the candidates that wooing liberal primary voters with too much peace talk could put the party’s nominee at odds with swing voters in next year’s general election. (Swing voters, like myself, wouldn’t trust a Leftinistra to pick their own noses right.)
The last part of the article is fuel to the fire:
But reality has a way of intruding. Coincidentally, Tenet, in a new book devoted mostly to trying to resurrect his reputation and trash Vice President Cheney’s (He had his chance way back yonder and those that know me know why I say that), also raises the possibility of new attacks. (Possibility? How about the assurities? They are here and waiting and have been for years but it isn’t PC to do what needsw to be done with them. The Leftinistra seem to think that the United States Constitution is extended to everyone in the world. They are dead wrong. It is for US Citizens ONLY.) He writes that he is puzzled that Al Qaeda has not unleashed “suicide bombers to cause chaos in a half-dozen American shopping malls on any given day.” (Silly man. They are NOT quite done with the current crop of the Leftinistra.)
He goes on: “I do know of one thing in my gut. Al Qaeda is here and waiting.” (DUH!! We told you that a LONG time ago, Tenet, you idiot!)
And now Democrats know it, too. (But they ignore it to jockey for political power. Morons.) Whatever else happens, they can’t say they weren’t warned. (Yes, they can. They are good at passing the buck with their “deer in the headlights” stare and glare. Who? Me? Morons.)
