GATHERING OF EAGLES II COMING TO DC!!

This letter was received from a woman named Linda. She wrote this letter as an appeal to all Christian American’s to stand up for what is right.

Dear Fellow Christian Americans,

It is at a time like this that we as believers in a Mighty God and believers in the United States as the home of the free and the brave must finally stand together and be counted before it is too late. Our soldiers, who are risking their very lives for us, need to know that countless Americans still believe in their ability to achieve victory in Iraq if their hands are untied and political restraints are loosened.

Yes, it is like Vietnam! We could have won there before so many lives were lost, except for the media and anti-war protest that affected the political game of how our brave forces were allowed to fight that war. We owe it to them and our forces in harms way now to let our voices for victory and support for America be heard.

The results of defeat in Iraq will be devastating to Iraq, and the United States…especially to our grandchildren and their children.

We are seeing the Hollywood crowd, the uninformed, and irresponsible protestors unite to show their disdain for America’s efforts to succeed in this Iraq war, and their contempt for one nation under God.

Can we sacrifice one day and expense to get to Washington D.C. to support our fighting heroes? I for one - will ! On May 26, 2007 I will travel to Washington D.C. to spend the day holding signs to proclaim my support for “Victory in Iraq” and honoring our troops who are sacrificing for our freedom.

I am sending this letter to churches all across the United States of all denominations. I was led to ask Christians to finally stand up and be counted. However, I did not have any idea how to organize a rally with facilities, permits, and procedures concerning rallies at our national capitol. God answered this by leading me to the “Gathering of the Eagles” organization of veterans across the United States who will have all this in place. We as fellow Christians can just join them on May 26th as they have all the organizational requirements in place. We should have stood up for them when they were fighting in Vietnam. But now we have a chance to stand beside them as they stand up for the armed forces and for America. Go to their website to see what they are doing and what they accomplished on March 17th, even though, the liberal media did not cover it. If 30,000 strong did not get media attention, the media can not ignore over 100,000 veterans and Christians standing together. Their website is “gatheringofeagles.org” .

I am going to stand for freedom…will you, my fellow Christian, stand with me? God has already blessed America over and over again…it is time for America to bless God! It is time for Christians to unite, stand -up, and be counted! Hope to see you at our nation’s capitol on May 26, 2007! God led me to issue this invitation. He provided others to prepare the way. What will you do?
