There are those that have stated that the President of The United States “can’t speak to We The People” anymore but the General can. Why is this? I don’t get it. Are the democrats so full of and engaged in such hate for GWB that they will lie and spread untruths about him to make him ineffective? Just to garner some political strength? What of their personal and professional integrity?
A recent article begs the question, “Can Petraeus Pull It Off?” and goes on to cite much progress taking place in The War In Iraq that the Leftinistra just ignore, all for political gain. This is unacceptable. For the Leftinistra to flat-out ignore the progress being made is nothing short of utter stupidity all in the name of political power, the threats to this country be damned.
“…Until recently Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, was the most dangerous city in Iraq if not the world. It was run by al Qaeda in Iraq (AQI), which had declared it the capital of its Islamic State of Iraq. The Iraqi police presence was limited to one police station, which the police were afraid to leave. Soldiers and Marines engaged in heavy combat every day, losing hundreds of men since 2003, simply to avoid having insurgents overrun the government center and close down Route Michigan, the main street…”
If this isn’t progress than, what is?
