The Beauchump Scandal Keeps Burying TNR
TPM is having a canary because they don't know what someone else knows and that isn't fair and they seem to have the right to know even they don't have the legalese need to know yet, they need to know.
Here is what everyone knows...Beauchump was a liar and a fraud.
These poor slugs have been exposed and their stupidity is hanging out. Behold:
If you've been following the Scott Thomas Beauchamp Affair, I strongly recommend reading the latest update from The New Republic. The short version is that the Army's investigation of the case appears to be confined to a) releasing no information about their investigation or details of its findings, b) leaking alleged details to the Weekly Standard, which no one will confirm on the record and c) keeping Beauchamp himself in communications lockdown where no one but family members in monitored conversations can communicate with him.

They are still lauding TNR as "honest and decent". What a bunch of losers. Read the rest of the pathetic piece.
Riehl World View has a thing or two to say about suckers for punishment.
Perhaps this is merely a vain attempt at getting folks to subscribe to the failing and ZERO credibility publication staffed by losers and suckers. The Beauchump quagmire si their own undoing.Josh Marshall links to a TNR update on Scott Beauchamp. I haven't read it. Based upon the link, it might have been nice to have made it public under the circumstances. Even Marshall has to admit to TNR's credibility problems, past and present. It isn't like I'd want to subscribe under the circumstances just to access more potential spin.
