Editors at The New York Times are reportedly concerned that the nation’s “paper of record” may run out of ways to undercut the U.S. war effort in Iraq before the November 2008 presidential elections, and perhaps much sooner.
According to unnamed sources in the Time newsroom, “Our only hope is a steady flow of leaks from the Pentagon and State Department. So, we still have a fighting chance.”
