The Leftinistra; the Anti-Americanists Are Tanking
In previous posts here, here and here, we brought to our readers who the Hollyweird members of tyhe Blame America First and the Hate America chronic malcontents have begun seeing the demise of their traitorous and treasonous ways and means. No one of substance wants to hear their crap anymore. Especially since the self-vaunted "majority" in CONgress is so pathetic and is such an international laughing stock, any association with that minority of Americans is simply distasteful in this day and age.
In recent days, a new movie with that idiot Cruise in it, has emerged as yet another in a long list of pathetic flops.
Little Green Footballs:The Daily Kos-endorsed Robert Redford film Lions for Lambs is utterly tanking at the box office: Daily Box Office for Friday, November 9, 2007.
We all new it would, seeing the hype and the advertisements left and right with the MoveOnDotAsswipe endorsements.
Newsbusters:Remember those anti-war Iraq movies Hollywood was crowing about this summer? Turns out that crowing was more than a little premature: they've been spectacular bombs at the box office: [...]
Amy Proctor:
[...] The studio marketeers ought to have seen this coming for the simple reason that people go to the movies to be entertained not preached at. [...]
[...] There's also a third problem. The American public is not nearly as angry and delirious about Iraq as the far left. Most Americans view our labors in Iraq the same way they view their local sports team. Up until recently, the home team's performance has been lackluster which has meant for less public support. Now that things have begun to turn around, however, Americans are viewing Iraq a lot more positively. This news couldn't have come at a worse time for "Rendition" and company. {Read the rest}.[...] These quotes from Bonchco, whose own war series bombed, shows how completely out of touch filmmakers are: "WWII was hugely romanticized in terms of its fiction" and "there were unambiguous villains as opposed to this war"? What is romantic fiction about victory for the good guys? If there is any question about who the villains are in the current war, thank the main stream media, Democrats and liberals who've done their fair share of giving al-Qaeda the benefit of the doubt while maligning U.S. troops. [...]
Macsmind:For the last two years we've been waiting for this onslaught of antiwar movies from the leftist in Hollyweird, only to have them bomb at the box office one by one.
Political Vindication:
The new flick this weekend, Lions for Lambs is no different.
The verdict? Critics give is a C+, viewer a D, see here. The fact is that no matter how much the left tries to tell us how unpopular the war is the fact is that the public does not approve of overpaid (and in Cruise's case) insane actors making fun of their government or the men and women in uniform. There's an article up at Drudge that I wanted to say a few words about-It's titled "Hollywood is casualty of war as movie-goers shun Iraqi films." The AFP writes that films about the War on Terror in general and the Iraq War in particular are huge failures. [...]
Memo to Hollyweird and the far-left kook fringe moonbats of the Bash America Brigades, aka, anti-Americanists: we are mad as hell and we aren't going to take it anymore. We far outnumber you and we outmaneuver you and out influence you time after time. Your kind have awakened a great and terrible monster and we will devour you.
Have fun in that Abyss of Obscurity.
