I haven't been writing about this because I was hoping that common sense would break out. Apparently that is not to be. In an obvious emotional tizzy fit, the minority in numbers have taken to the streets to demand that the majority in numbers bow down to the minority. Sorry, morons. It doesn't work that way. This just goes to show how immature these fools and hate-filled denizens of hypocrisy really are. Just like spoiled brats, when things don't go their way, they throw little whining hissy fits revealing their lack of mental stability. Oh. Wait.

Feel free to check out Michelle Malkin today on this subject. And these obviously demented fools "demand" to be honored and respected? Not hardly. The people of CA have spoken and Prop 8 is now part of the Constitution of CA. Oh. Wait. They don't care about Rule of Law unless that Rule of Law goes in their favor. Anarchists. May they rot in hell.

Take a Stand against the Unfairness Doctrine

Text of the Fairness Doctrine Petition:

I am signing this petition to urge members of Congress and government officials to reject any and all efforts to censor, limit, or restrain the right of conservatives to participate freely in the marketplace of ideas through the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” or other similar efforts.

Additionally, I am joining with other American citizens who want their individual Free Speech Rights defended and protected from government intrusion! Our great nation was built upon free and open discourse, and to remain a great nation this ideal must be protected and preserved at all costs.

Please note that I will be watching closely and taking action when necessary to directly combat the liberal bias of the media.

    The goal is to accumulate half a million signatures to apply pressure to the politicians.  Our role is to sign the petition and urge everyone in our circle of influence to sign and share the petition with others.  With a few more Senate wins, the Democrats will be able to stop a filibuster.  We need to apply maximum pressure now, and maintain it.

    After signing the petition, please go to Congress.org and enter your zip code. Under the heading Write Your Elected Officials,  click the Federal link. Compose and send an email to your Representative & Senators urging them to reject all attempts at censorship. Let them know that your next vote will depend on their votes. Be sure to click the Letters To Leaders check box so that the public can read your letter to Congress.

    Collectively, we have the power to prevent this unconstitutional atrocity. If any of us abandons that power, all of us may lose it forever. If they can censor talk radio, they can censor the Internet too.  Then we will be like the Eastern Europeans, typing multiple carbon copies on manual typewriters to communicate our facts and ideas.

    The unfairness doctrine is a blatant attempt to squelch political speech. Don't let them do it! Act now to preserve our precious, hard won liberty.

Consider the first amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

The text includes the technology available to the newly liberated colonists. Is there any reason to doubt that radio and the Internet would have been included if they had existed at that time?   Radio is nothing more than amplified speech, except that it has no nuisance value. Unlike the sound truck and amplified Adhan, radio is not intrusive, it is under the control of the listener. Make sure it stays that way.

In my Google Reader (enemy camp), I have collected a vast and variant compilation of COLB (Certificate Of Live Birth) pieces dating from 21 AUG 2008 to the present. To date, there are 202 entries therein and can be found here. Today, NBC Augusta published an article here and on their post, they have the now debunked and forged COLB. People, a COLB is not a "vault birth certificate". Period. The COLB originally posted to the Daily KOSmonoff web site and shortly thereafter at Obama's web site was shown to be a forgery and the fella that forged it admitted to it. The KOSmonoffs removed it and then 2 weeks later, so did Obama.

At the NBC post, a commenter made the following post: "12:57 PM Taxbilly wrote ... The Constitution needs to be changed so Obama can be president." Amazing, isn't it? PolitiFact also tried the same thing back in June. Too bad their data was flawed and were taken in by the forgery as were many others including myself until mid-August.

Media Bias = Journalistic Malpractice

Journalistic Malpractice. Shouldn't that be a crime? I think so. I ran across a video of which I took the audio and saved it just in case some Obamatard whines to the point that the video gets removed. The audio is stored right here. Another video that I have the audio segments to is stored in two places, one being the full audio complete with Howard Stern "isms" and the other is filtered out and stored here. What the videos and audio segments reveal is what we already have known for quite some time. The American News Media has lost its way and can no longer report the news as their own ethics creed requires them to. They have betrayed the trust that the American People once held them in high esteem for.

In the videos and audio segments, you will see and/or hear the most ignorant people in the known universe describing their political prowess. From my personal evaluation, I have determined that these people are so dumb and/or ignorant that a cargo ship loaded with crates of turtle turds has more political prowess than these interviewees. Not knowing who or what you are voting for is tantamount to serious mental deficiencies.

Who, however, is to "blame" for this? Logically, it is the individual's fault for not being informed. However, they have been swindled into believing that the National News Media is properly informing them. Where in the world did they get that from? We can start in the government run reeducation camps we call the American School System which has been compromised in a very large way.

We have quite a bit of work before us people and at times I wonder if we are up to the task. What will we do when the going gets tough? What will we do when ridiculed and scoffed upon? As for myself, I press onward with more and more energy and determination. How about you? Are you up to the task take our country back from the Marxist socialists or is it too hard? Are you willing to hit the streets? Are you willing to set aside the video games? Are you willing to turn the television off?

I have learned quite a bit from my ventures out onto the various theoretical facilities of Higher Learning we call colleges and universities. I have learned that the students are not taught critical thinking nor are they instructed in ethics or thinking for themselves. They most certainly are not taught American Politics. I ran across so many that could not tell you which political party was in "control" and if they did tell me what they thought, it was wrong. Several told me that they were voting democrat because those republicans Pelosi, Reid and Murtha were screwing the country up. I wonder where they learned the wrong things from.

Some told me that their "teachers" did. I was shocked, truly. When I proved to them that they were "ill-informed", it was their turn to be shocked. Quite a few of them said they get their information from the "media". I told them that exposing the Lame Stream Media was "Rather" fun back on 7 JUL 2007. They looked at me curiously so I showed them that post. More shock waves were formed.

If there is any doubt whatsoever, I suggest that you read, study, memorize, save, print and distribute the List of 45. And then, buy the book The Naked Communist. Only then will you be able to understand that which we face as a Nation. Wake Up People.

"The Iraq War is Over. We Won."

Though he'd been on a mission all day and was about to drop, Mike Yon just called from Iraq to let me know that the war is over, and we've won. Whatever it is that is left of violence, there isn't combat. Roughly half of the men in the unit of the 10th Mountain Division he was out on missions with are veterans with previous tours of Iraq and Afghanistan, and in eight months into their deployment in southern Baghdad, they haven't fired a single bullet in combat. Our soldiers in Iraq have played many roles and worn many hats, but it seems that their primary role now is that of a peacekeeper, providing support to a government and a people that seem increasingly capable of handling their own affairs. We can declare victory because President Bush wouldn't quit on his troops. If Barack Obama had his way, a triumphant Abu Musab al-Zarqawi would have had a chance to have made the same claim over the Caliphate of Iraq. Glenn Reynolds has more.

We have Obama demanding of his potential employees information that would disqualify himself for any job requiring a security clearance. We have government owned banks now. We have the news media distorting the constitution in order to secularize society and Obama declaring that the NY Slimes should be bailed out because they sway public opinion and are too valuable to let go under. We have liberal republicans saying to the RNC to dump the social conservatives. We have the not so creeping anymore liberal fascism which is an enemy to Freedom. We have Zell Miller warning of the "far left" glut. We have the ACLU demanding to know why a Stalin banner was removed as well as declaring that they alone will determine if immigration laws are legal. We have Obama tenets and principles about to be set into motion that will plunge us into the Great Depression Part II and food lines much like socialist and communist nations experience. We have an unknown candidate with unknown origins refusing to prove his constitutional eligibility to ascend to the American Presidency and he was a constitution professor(?). We have a KNOWN One World Socialist Advocate (George Soros) backing Obama financially.

But none of that is evidence whatsoever as to the socialistic-Marxist nature of The One Czarbie. Nope. Just more ODS.

Obama has declared war on Talk Radio. Apparently, the libtard radio shows don't fare so well so naturally, the quality of the Conservative shows have to be lowered to make the libtards happier. "Alinsky jujitsu" as applied to conservative talk radio means using vague rules already on the books to threaten any station which dares to air conservative programs with the loss of its valuable broadcast license. Everyone Wants To Be Fair So, This Is It

I received this in my email from Stormin' Norman...

Fellow Business Executives:

As the CFO of this business that employs 140 people, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our next President, and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way.

To compensate for these increases, I figure that the Clients will have to see an increase in our fees to them of about 8% but since we cannot increase our fees right now due to the dismal state of our economy, we will have to lay off six of our employees instead. This has really been eating at me for a while, as we believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who will have to go.

So, this is what I did. I strolled thru our parking lot and found 8 Obama bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the first to be laid off. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. These folks wanted change; I gave it to them.

If you have a better idea, let me know.

Excommunicating The RINOs

I'm not buying into ALLAHPUNDIT's take on Romney in 2012. Why get ANOTHER RINO on the ticket? We have seen how they fare in the elections haven't we? Does 2006 and 2008 ring a bell? DING DONG! Avon calling! He doesn't like Palin or Jindal for 2012. He says they are too boiler plate. SIGH. Ialso didn;t hear the "new conservative" ideas he was alluding to either. I heard your basic Conservative Principles and Ideologies but I didn't hear anything "new". Methinks Patrick Ruffini is correct. We need to focus on 2010 first. Things change. Whatever happens, Mitt Romney is most assuredly not a Conservative's Conservative. Not by any stretch of the imagination no matter the scope and purity of the hallucinogenic taken. Playing at Opossum isn't all that smart either.

I find it interesting that foreigners that have come to this country learn faster than our own but, then again, look at our pathetic Government Sanctioned Reeducation Camps we call schools. No wonder the kids are so screwed up.

"Both" genre of socialist - Democrat and Republican - have that invisible Constitution. We need to burn that damn thing. Speaking of burning, every word that David Harsanyi yammers and spews needs to be burned as well. The guy is a flake. Now, Ramesh Ponnuru is another story. Like I said. Most foreigners get it. This guy doesn't. They must read that invisible constitution.

Nancy Salvato says that True Patriots put their country first. I agree. Party Hacks make me ill. I wrote of this earlier...Ted Nugent calling for what JPA calls a Rinoectomy. DC has an infection or an epidemic of idiots called RINOs...they have some odd belief that it is they that are Conservatives. Crazy stuff that. As the Pelosi Team shifts further left, the RINOs will as well until there exists absolutely no line of demarcation between the Democrat and Republican. This cannot be allowed to go unchallenged and undefeated because the rumors of the death of Conservatism just isn't true...life support, yes...death no.

One glimmer of hope of a successful RINOectomy is the attacks on the unconstitutional McCain-Feingold atrocity. I wrote about this many times as well and knew back then that it would only enable the Party of Corruption and Death to win elections and thew Party of RINOs to lose. Imagine that...I was right all along. What is it about DC that exhumes and reeks of a Crime Syndicate?

A few days ago, the Caliphate News Network claimed that the majority of Americans "welcomed" a majority Democrat Party "rule". Frankly, silly me thought the Constitution mentioned "governed" as opposed to "rule" because this Nation was once "ruled" and we rebelled against that "rule". Odd, that. I suppose it has something to do with Utopia which, loosley translated means No Place. More on that can be found at Memeorandum. Macs Mind calls it a confused electorate. I call it hog wash. I think the "poll" is whitewash for the following, no pun intended.

After 8 years of absolute BDS - unsubstantiated drivel spewing for the mouths of socialist malcontents - Obama NOW wants to get along with everyone. So do his sycophantic and brain dead idiot trolls. Imagine that? Obama has spent quite a bit of time berating our troops, supporting our enemies, violating the Logan Act upon several occasions, conversing with HAMAS DURING his campaign and he now wants to get along with everybody? The ODS and Black Helicopter Republicans labels crack me up. Let's take a look at a few things shall we?

President Bush has endorsed and created the unconstitutional financial bail-out quagmire. I say unconstitutional because nowhere within the US Constitution does the federal government get the authorization for this action. Nowhere. And I challenge anyone to find it. The White House has since stated that it isn't "socialistic" to bail out every business that goes under. Now we learn that the bail out money isn't even going towards that which it was originally intended. Then again, it was never clearly stated where that money was going after it was unconstitutionally slated to go into the black hole of DC politics...was it? Is that BDS? Um, no, it is not. It is fact. And, FWI, that $700B has turned into $5T with no explanations coming from anyone, especially the Federal reserve which is also unconstitutional, by the way.

Time Ragazine has compared Barack Hussein Obama to Jesus Christ. I would classify that as ODS. What say you?

A "lost tribe" of Obama has made itself known. Is this ODS? You betcha.

It will be interesting to see if everyone wants to claim this guy as a relative four years from now.He has a host of relatives in exotic locations from Hawaii to Kenya, and during his run for the American presidency he discovered that he had an aunt living in Boston. [...]

I have had discussions via email, comments and one-on-one with liberals that think the Bush-Cheney Administration committed war crimes bit NONE have been able to giver viable examples. None. Every time this was brought up in DC by the Congress Critters, it never went anywhere. Why? Because they do not exist. They are fabrications by idiots. Is this BDS? Yes. It is.

Obama has started naming people to positions and calling them Czars. How many Czars do we need? Is this ODS? No. It is not. When the words are his own, what would YOU call it?

There is an unprecedented power grab going on in DC right under our noses and has been for decades. Is this ODS? No. It is fact. It is historical fact.

When Global Socialists applaud Barack's victory, is this ODS or BDS? It is ODS. Barack is in fact a Marxist. Is this ODS? No. It is not. It is fact. IS that something to worry about? Yes. It is. He doesn't just lean Left, he is left of the American Leftists. That is not ODS. That is fact. And, what is the track record of Leftists? Answer that and your ODS garbage will fade into nothingness right where it belongs.

I find it incredulous that theoretical conservatives want us all to "wait until something happens" before we raise the red flags of warning. That is what has been wrong with the GOP/RNC for years. They wait until something happens to do anything about the wrong thing about to come to pass and it is usually too late to correct the whatever it is. Remember Shamnesty? Wake up people.

I think the biggest issue these poor things are concerned about is the alleged Civilian National Security Forces Obama brought up and the apologists are side tracking because "it isn't what he meant to say". Oh, really? Remember Rahm Emanuel in 2006? Please at least try and pay attention here. OK? Here we go.

To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to make permanent the favorable treatment afforded combat pay under the earned income tax credit, and for other purposes.

Does that not make your skin crawl? Hello? Is it constitutional to demand and to require or mandate PUBLIC service? No. It is not. Should we wait until it becomes law to "whine about it"? Not hardly. Should we start screeching about it NOW instead of THEN? Yes. We should. Is this ODS? Only to an idiot. The most alarming statement is the "and for other purposes" statement. That is "Rather" open-ended don't you think?

So, take the statements of Rahm Emanuel which will be part of an unconstitutional Obama Presidency (if he is not a US citizen - and he isn't) that has publicly stated that a compulsory mandated Public Service will be the order of the day and rule of law through "proper legislation", coupled with that which Barack Hussein Obama has stated many, many times, coupled with that which is in committee at this very moment, and what do you have? An unconstitutional quagmire in the making and fools want us to sit back and wait until it happens. Simply amazing. Everything I have written on this subject is located right here for the time being. It is all so obvious but some are oblivious and they are that way on purpose. They are afraid they may wound a subversive's sensibilities. Too bad.

Bailouts For All!

Come One, Come All, The United States Government Is Offering Bailouts For All!

When Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson asked Congress for $700 billion for distressed assets, the Democrats in Congress jumped with glee at the opportunity to expand government farther into the private sector, and ultimately into our individual lives. As far as Pelosi, and friends, are concerned, any intrusive, big government plan or program is good to them. Unfortunately, George W. Bush joined them in the approval of a massive socialist push into the American Economy, and ultimately, the nationalization of the Mortgage Industry.

The Democrats were excited about the opportunity to stick more government into your lives because they believe it is government's obligation to "do for you." They are like a nanny running around with giant pillows in their hands ready to throw them under your butt when you are ready to fall - unfortunately, in order to do that, your individual freedoms must be compromised, and the Capitalism that has made this nation so prosperous must be placed six feet under.

George W. Bush, though more reluctant in approving the bailout, used different reasoning than his liberal counterparts. His core belief system is not one of government control, I don't believe, though he has proven not to be a fiscal conservative as evidenced by his ability to spend more than a drunken Democrat during the last eight years. His reasoning for the bailout, however, was coupled with the thought that without it, the economy would falter - AND - it would open up an opportunity to worldwide cooperation on an economic level. That's right, Dubya did it for reasons akin to Globalism.

Now that the Congressional Democrats have experienced bailout fever, they desire to provide bailouts for everyone. The American Auto Industry, guilty of falling behind because they produce inferior products, is slated for a bailout. Credit companies are poised for assistance as well (so go out to dinner and charge it on the credit card! You may not have to pay the bill after all!). Even struggling cities like Atlanta and Philadelphia, all manned by left-of-center leadership, are begging for a piece of the bailout pie as well.

What is the lesson?

I guess it is okay to live beyond your means and finance your life up to your eyeballs - after all, if you can't pay for what you promised to pay for, the government will come along and bail you out too. As for you folks that did the right thing and budgeted and did not over-extend your credit? Sorry, you are out of luck - dig deep into your pockets and pay your taxes so that all of the screw-ups can get a check from the government!

Now, I know on the surface many of you are ready to say that a bad economy is to blame for the perceived need of such a Marxist strategy. A roughed up economy, coupled with decreased consumer spending, I agree, played no small role. But, the real culprit across the board is bad management - in the industries affected, and in the government's handling of regulatory intrusion, as well as the governmental demand to offer credit to folks that had no business getting it in the first place.

Capitalism is self adjusting. Over regulating (I didn't say to strip all regulations, by the way, for those of you who think that de-regulation caused the problems) stifles the growth of business. Business growth needs to be encouraged, not punished with increased business taxes, increased capital gains taxes, and the existence of any estate taxes. Individual drive for success and business growth is what moves an economy, not government checks.

And before you proclaim that Barack Obama is above any notions of bailouts, remember that he wants to provide the ultimate bailout to the entire world in the form of his Global Poverty Bill which would redistribute the wealth from the ashamedly wealthy United States to the rest of the poor world in nations where they have refused to embrace the Capitalism that has made this nation prosperous in the first place.

If a progressive taxation against the successful, and redistributing such monies down to the "less fortunate" is such a great idea, then how come it has failed every time it has been attempted?

Change? The Liberal Left's plans are nothing new. They are only a re-try of old, worn-out, failed policies that has sent us into recessions each time they were tried; and has destroyed other nations when they attempted to use such Marxist ideals.

We have all heard the rumors flying about the Transition Team and who is going to be what and which appointments are going to made and all that rot. I have been collecting the posts here as they come out. The latest one supports the statement that Czarbie made about appointing Republicans to his Cabinet. It is also obvious that Obama will be surrounded by men and not women. I wonder how that is going over with the Feminazis.

Apparently the other day when Obama requested a meeting with McCain, my personal speculation has some degree of truth. No Quarter and Flopping Aces are confirming that John McCain just might be Obama's Secretary of Defense. I wonder how that will work out with Hillary as Secretary of State. Oh. Wait. They are friends and dear colleagues. I forgot.

How To Fight The One

Just in case Barack Hussein Obama manages to glom onto the White House even though he is ineligible by the United States Constitution, get ready for one constitutional issue after another. He doesn't care one iota about our Constitution and his very tenets and screed supports that allegation. Like Macsmind so asks, "Does Obama Really Want to Take on 56 Million Americans?" He may laugh that off and so may his Goon Squads but in reality, we can make him age more in 4 years than the moonbats aged President Bush in 8 years.

So how do we fight this constitutional menace? Stick to Conservative principles and values. Like the wicked witch in the Wizard of Oz, Hussein O will melt when confronted with the United States Constitution. He has already started and he hasn't even been coroneted yet. Along those lines, the Lame Stream Media wants the coronation to be moved to December. I wonder what the Constitution says about that? Oh. Wait.

In light of his own questionnaire for possible job ooportunities in the Obama Kingdom, he couldn't even hire himself unless it is a requirement to be a terrorist sympathizer or a Chicago hood-like background. Stick with those Double Standards, slick Czarbie...we''ll be watching. Unlike the lies told and spread about President Bush, we have already identified all of the obvious and documented Czarbie lies.

As we prepare for battle with the unconstitutional (for now) coronation of an illegal alien as president (until he produces a valid birth certificate), we will also have to do battle with the "do-gooders" in the "moderate" circle. They make claims that fighting Obama is equal to ODS - Obama Derangement Syndrome or Black Helicopter Republicans. Those that make such statements clearly do not have the energy to fight on the levels required. These people would never pass muster in any Unit I have ever served in. We called them Yellow Streakers. These were the same that were quiet during the Logan Act violations because it was too hard to write about it I surmise.

The "moderates" would have us "wait until it happens and not let people know what he is up to before hand". I can tell they were never in Real Battle and know nothing of preemptive strikes. I suppose they will be surprised with the looming Internet 91101 Syndrome. I'll not wait until the enemy strikes...that usually means it is too late, especially with the Marxists. No thanks fellas...I'll not follow your lead because what you propose is not leadership. Not even in the weirdest of wet dreams. I have never been tolerant of the Ostrich Syndrome sufferers because they generally bring it upon themselves, no matter what that "it" "IS".

I didn't lose a body part to play nice-nice or to follow the moderate line of anything. It has been my experience that the politically correct and the moderates of the world are the ones that create the atmosphere of war and send us out to fight the wars they could have prevented by standing strong but didn't have the courage to do so.

I agree with John Hawkins: "Come on ... it's not the conservatives with the anger management issues." It isn't those of us on the Right manufacturing anything. We have facts - substantiated and documented facts - and we do not dwell on the emotional and the wishful thinking scenarios. We utilize Czarbie's own words and those of his mentors that he has repeated time and time again.

Get over it and climb aboard or step aside.

It's About Conservative Principles, Stupid!

Human Nature dictates that it is more comfortable to be in a crisis and blame others, than to be in a comfort zone and look inward. People tend to not like to look at themselves. It is much easier to ignore the decisions one has made in their life, and blame others for their predicament instead.

I have accused the Liberal Left many times of ignoring human nature, and that is exactly what they do. However, human desire is hardly ignored by The Left. During this last election, the human desire for any change during a crisis, whether that crisis is real or not, was not ignored at all. During the Obama Campaign, the Democrats were banking on Human Desire to takes its course, and elect the next president on emotional impulse, rather than principles that best serves this nation.

Obama's Health Care plan took advantage of the human desire to have access to health care, no matter what the cost. However, Obama's Health Care Plan ignores human nature when it comes to the human tendency to take advantage (to the point of over doing it) of what seems to be a freebie, even if it is not from a taxation point of view. Barack Obama proclaims that his Universal-style government health plan is completely voluntary. If you have good health insurance, you can keep it. His plan only supplies government paid (taxpayer paid) health care to those who can't afford such plans (mostly illegal aliens). But, as his alleged birth state of Hawaii has proven, such a plan is doomed to fail.

Why did Hawaii's health plan, similar to Obama's in all ways except that it specifically targeted children, fail? Because those who already had health care plans dropped them for the government freebie, which in turn bankrupted the government plan, and after seven months Hawaii had to kill it and proclaim the plan to be a failure. Oh, the idea had a noble ring to it: "Hawaii lawmakers approved the health plan in 2007 as a way to ensure every child can get basic medical help. The Keiki (child) Care program aimed to cover every child from birth to 18 years old who didn't already have health insurance — mostly immigrants and members of lower-income families."

Sound familiar?

But hey, like with all of his other socialist ideas, Obama's attitude is that failed policies need not fail with his messiah-like touch involved. Obamaism will succeed because he will make it so.

And Obama said, "Let there be utopia, and there was."

As stated earlier, Obama and the rest of the liberals, do not take into account human nature when it comes to their programs - that is why their neo-socialism/neo-Marxism is doomed to fail, and by the end of the Obama presidency America will be begging for "Change."

The Democrats, however much they ignore human nature when it comes to governing, definitely recognized the potential of human desire when it came to campaigning.

"Crisis" is an important component to bring about change, and change - any change - can be instituted once humans believe they are caught up in a teeth gnashing crisis.

Knowing this, the Democrats created crisis when they launched their "hate Bush" campaign five years ago, and hammered away at it until they believed that most Americans felt that George W. Bush is the worst president this country has ever seen. Of course, like with any leader, I do not agree with many things Dubya has enacted, but having disagreements with a politician doesn't automatically make him the "worst ever" as a result. If that was the case, every president that has ever been elected (and one that wasn't) has been the worst ever. Heck, I even disagreed with Ronald Reagan a couple times!

Unfortunately, the Republican Leadership got sucked into the "crisis hysteria" as well, and began to believe there must be something wrong with the Republican Brand under the constant deluge of attacks, and often lies, from the Liberal Left Democrats. As a result, the GOP decided it would be prudent to move leftward and become a party of moderates (but sometimes call it conservatism hoping that some of the base may actually believe them).

The Republican Party, in that sense, began to think like the Democrats, and placed Party (and winning the next election) over and above their principles.

Conservatism isn't about power, control, big government, or any of the other things that seems to define today's liberalism or moderate Repubicans. Conservative Principles are about down-sizing the size of the federal government, practicing fiscal responsibility, supporting family values, providing a strong defense, encouraging individual rights and responsibility, keeping taxes and government spending down, and adhering to the United States Constitution.

How can the Republican Party proclaim to be a party of conservatives when government spending has skyrocketed under the control of a Republican President (that convinced many that he's a Conservative), earmarks by Congress just as rampant among the GOP as it is with the Democrats, and a national border left wide open during a time that providing a strong defense has become crucial? How can the Republicans claim to support family values when scandals like Senator Larry Craig's Bathroom Stall antics crop up, or politicians with an "R" after their name, like California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, say things like "The fight for gay marriage is not over in California?"

The image above at the top of this article is the 2008 Election Map by counties. Looks like a Republican landslide, doesn't it? Fact is, the population centers elected Barack Obama for president, while the Conservatives of this nation stayed home and let it happen. As for the other voters, the Democrats saw that their "Bring the troops home from Iraq" plan was losing, and were able to make the economy the number one issue going into the election - and then turned Obama into a tax cutting conservative to win!

It turns out that people did not flock to the voting booths in record numbers as the mainstream media had expected, and by percentage the voter turnout was virtually the same as 2004. However, African-American and Hispanic Voter turnout was up, while White voter turnout was down. Registered Democrats voter turnout increased by 2.6 points from 28.7 percent in 2004 to 31.3 percent in 2008 while Republican turnout declined by 1.3 percentage points to 28.7 percent.

In short, Republicans stayed home while non-Republicans flocked to their voting locations.

The question, then, is why?

The Republican Party erroneously put the party first. Winning the election became more important than sticking to Conservative Principles. A moderate, well known to buck the GOP and leap across the aisle to hang out with Democrats, was the Republican offering. The GOP has become more and more convinced that moving left will win elections for the party, rather than sticking to "believing in something." Therefore, the GOP is being seen by the voters as being a party that essentially stands for nothing. Many conservatives stayed home to punish the Republicans. Now, among the moderates, I am hearing rumblings of how they can brand the Republican Party to appeal to the younger crowd, and the minorities - - - that they must move further to the left in order to win the next election!

In a word, the Republican Party Leadership is now populated by idiots. You don't abandon your principles to gain a handful of votes from voters that have no principles of their own, or maintain leftist leanings. You stick to your principles, you proclaim your principles, and you explain how your conservative principles are good for all Americans. Then, when people understand that Conservatism is not the lies the left puts out, but the idea that not only should one group not be punished for being successful, but that all people should be encouraged to reach such success in this nation of opportunity, people will vote for the party because they wish to vote for the principles the party stands for.

The Republican Party lost this election because it turned its back on Conservative Principles, and allowed the Democrats to proclaim "crisis" successfully, and herd the people in the direction of Socialism. The Republican Leadership believes the lies put out by the left, and reacts to the ridiculous accusations put out by the left, and like cowards abandoned their Conservative Principles under the pressure.

If abandoning Conservative Principles is the recipe for success in elections, then show me the overwhelming success of moderates across the nation?

The two most popular governors in America, at this moment, are Republicans that cling to their Conservative Principles, Sarah Palin of Alaska and Bobby Jindal of Louisiana. The last landslide election win by Republicans for President was Ronald Reagan in 1984 - a campaign run on strict Conservative Principles.

America is the greatest nation on this earth, not the nation to blame for the world's ills as the Democrats paint it out to be. Fiscal Conservatism, as it did in the 80's, can lead us back to economic prosperity. Peace can be maintained in the world with a strong American Military that sends fear down the spines of every dictator and madman abroad. Our moral compass can be righted again with legislation that protects the unborn, protects marriage, and continues to encourage families to be the backbone of this nation. But this can only be achieved if the Republican Party returns to its base. Politics should not be about winning elections and gaining or holding power. It's about Conservative Principles, and sticking to what is right. It is about doing what is best for this nation. It is about standing up for the American Way.
