This Blog Is Moving

Greetings. After this weekend, this Take Our Country Back Blog will be moving to the new web site. Too many conservatives are getting zapped by the intolerant dweebs of the Obama Goons and seeing that this editing platform is a free site, Blogger can do pretty much what it feels like doing. Hence, I now have a paid site and will be migrating the last 1400+ posts shortly.

So, one day, you just may click this page somewhere and it will show up as "private". It has been fun but the intolerant Czarbie Goon Squads are brain dead idiots. They can come play at the new site which I OWN outright.

Simplistic Reality, Blatant Stupidity or Surreal Assuredness

~Snooper~

Don't ask me what the title means...it just seemed to flow just right...

TAB has their 7 Pledges for America.

They are what they are demanding of the GOP

"WE WILL VOTE NO ON ALL NEW TAXES."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON ALL DEFENSE CUTS."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON ALL OIL-DRILLING BANS."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON ALL BILLS WITH EARMARKS OR PORK."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON RETREAT FROM IRAQ AND OUR ENEMIES."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON ALL NEW GUN CONTROLS."
"WE WILL VOTE NO ON WEAKENING LAW ENFORCEMENT.

Power Line has their "thing". (I disagree with the opening)
[...] the Republicans' problem doesn't lie with their leadership, it lies in their inability in recent years to articulate conservative principles and apply them to legislation in a way that the American people find persuasive. To a great extent, their ability to do this was undermined by the fact that some Republicans were more interested in cementing their own popularity through spending increases. Being in the minority may well free Republicans to go back to taking principled, conservative stands on legislation. [...]
Ummmm...it is BECAUSE of the GOP Leadership AND the trolls of the RNC Leadership that the inability to "articulate conservative principles" is, has been and was the problem since the idiots in "leadership positions" allowed the hanging of Newt Gingrich. It was politically expedient to do so but not the right thing. Moderate to liberal politicians have a difficult time doing the right thing.

That's it? Just 9? LOL! The 9 Thoughts are Spot On though. You'll need to click over to read them. He ends the post thusly...
Those things should be as basic to our Republican representatives in Congress as blocking and tackling are in football. If they start getting back to basics, you will see conservatives get excited again, the money will flow again, the new media will talk up Republicans again, moderates will flock back to the party and we can turn things around in a hurry.
In conjunction to the 9 Thoughts, RWN also has the "Top 7 Reasons Why The GOP Can't Build A Political Party Around Moderates". Bloody good read.
